I have been coming here since 2011. I have had many great meals here and have had some very nice interactions with some very kind servers. The food here is amazing! I have never had a poor meal in the many years I've been coming to this restaurant! The servers here are very helpful and I like that though I always come alone that they engage me in conversation and make me feel "normal". What I'm trying to say is it's nice to have a conversation when it's not often you get the opportunity to tell someone how your day went and they remembered your name even after not coming for a few weeks! I think that's very classy. Again great service, great food, great team! Thanks for the good times!

Since the pandemic I have ordered from Cactus Club about twice a month. I LOVE the sushi here. I am a sushi lover but not so much a seaweed lover. Their rolls are made with soy paper, which is just the best. The tuna rice bowl is fresh, packed with textures and flavours. The tuna stack is also really good although probably best enjoyed dining in. I find the food always consistent. Which is a bonus.

We had a fabulous experience tonight. I've never been disappointed by this restaurant and tonight was no exception. The food was amazing, the drinks were insanely delicious, and our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. It was only her 2nd day and she did fantastic. Super friendly, very personable, and she noticed every little detail. We didn't have to ask for something or wave her down, she was always accessible and reading our needs. If you plan to visit do ask for Emma. And try the shrimp butternut squash ravioli, it's to die for!!!!

Cactus Club Cafe was an amazing experience for me and my family! I booked a reservation online through their website (which I recommend you to do so!) and we were immediately accomodated when we got there. The host was incredibly nice - she seated us to our table with a smile. We didn't even have to wait long until we were served by our beautiful and spectacular server, Amber, who always made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. I had the Millionaire's Cut for my entrée - which came with steak, prawns, mashed potato, and lightly seasoned asparagus - and boy, was it a delight! I enjoyed every single bit of it as well as the superb Chocolate Lava Cake. The ambience of this restaurant is also cozy yet welcoming; it's rather dim inside, but that didn't prevent everyone else from socializing as you normally would. As for the price, it can be quite expensive, but I honestly believe it's worth it considering you are given top notch service AND food. Like I mentioned before, I really would recommend you to book hours or even a few days ahead because they can get packed. We went there at around 5PM and by the time we left (around 7:20PM), there were several groups that had to be waitlisted. Overall, I would definitely love to come back here again! Kudos!

We really enjoyed our dinner. It was a great busy atmosphere. So happy to see people out again enjoying themselves safely. The only knock to Cactus Club is that gluten free options were extremely limited. My wife had slim pickings to choose from and not much in the form of accomodation. Other restaurants such as Earl's and Brown's Social had a lot more in the way of accommodating do gluten free.

Oooohhh Yummy! Went for my birthday and my son ordered for me. Had an awesome New York strip loin steak and prawns done perfectly. Also we all shared the lettuce wraps with sweet chili chicken for appetizer and that was really tasty

Everybody listen! So, I'm on a slow transition to a plant-based based lifestyle and I decided to give these Zen Rolls a try! They're slightly sweet and crunchy because of the crispy taro, but a great alternative for your "regular" sushi. The texture was a bit softer than what I expected and maybe it's because of the combinations of foods & fruit, but they were still so delicious. It was served with marble sized Wasabi and moist Ginger strips. The soy sauce was a nice compliment and I would definitely try these again. I've tried the prawn crunch rolls before, and I never missed a thing with these Zen Rolls. I love reading reviews before I try something; I hope this helped. I had a wonderful time with my valentines date at the cactus club. The food was divine and the staff were warm and welcoming. The manager (Josh) was marvellous. He made sure everything ran smoothly. He wasn’t afraid to step up to deal with a difficult customer, and wasn’t to good to do little things.

Service was really bad. Made reservations for 8 hours in advance and when I show up apparently they didn’t know I wanted a booth. Specifically stated Booth. Regardless sat down and service was terrible almost had to wait 40 min or more 2 times for service. Food was decent tho I enjoyed their prawns and ravioli also the steak very good. Overall foods good but not worth the time waiting on everything.

Only ever visited this location, this is my second time. My friend and I ordered the Calamari, Truffle fries, Chicken quesadilla, Ceviche and drinks. The host and waiters were friendly and accommodating. The food tasted very good. Compliments to the sous chef, the sauces were on point. My friend deserved a good night coming home from fighting the B.C. fires and this restaurant was a good choice.

Amazing! The service was very friendly, and the food came quickly. The food was amazing! You have to try the Truffle fries! Our server, Ziggy, was awesome. Very friendly and helpful, quick on the spot, and so knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very comfortable,and the prices are very reasonable. My second time at a Cactus Club now and it is a new favorite. I definitely recommend it!

We had lunch this past Saturday - the décor was very stylish, although perhaps could be a tad better illuminated for my taste - the music a lot of these types of restaurants often is too loud to have a normal conversation with the person sitting across from you - not so in this place (we asked for a quiet part of the restaurant, and we got a reasonably quiet place) My wife had the salmon and mashed potato combo with asparagus and was easily the best tasting salmon I've ever had (I stole a bite!) and she enjoyed it enormously. However, the burger I had was... well, how can I put this? Unexpectedly amazing. I love burgers, and I've had plenty through the years that go from mild food poisoning, moderately mediocre to game-changing. This one was a game changer. Our server was wonderfully friendly, helpful and attentive in an increasingly busy restaurant. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a nice modern, high quality eatery.

Stopped by during the happy hour and just tried a little bit of everything! Food was a tad hit and miss. Truffle fries were good and we liked the sauce. The prawn crunch rolls were delicious and wished we got another order of those (I'd come back just to get the sushi)! The quesadilla... That needs work. Looking at it when it came out I chuckled a bit because it just looked weird compared to the other dishes that came out looking good. It's like the sushi and fries came out wearing a suit and tie, and the quesadilla forgot about the event and just came in shorts and a shirt. The flavor was also flat (you'll go "eh"). To the entrees, we got the Steak Frites and Butternut Squash Ravioli. I asked for my steak to be medium, but gotta say this was one of the toughest streaks one I've ever eaten (even compared to well-done ones!). Maybe I got a bad piece, not sure but I wouldn't order steak again from here from my experience. The Ravioli was delicious though. I just wish it had something to kind of cleanse and refresh the palette because the richness. Dessert was okay

Food was great (5 stars) but after our first amazing server cashed out we were told that another server would take over and we sat for 1 hour waiting for her to acknowledge us. She did not say a word till we were putting our coats on to leave!! Absolutely disappointed! 5 stars turned into a 2 star experience.

Cactus club never disappoints! Happy Hour is truly a bonus for drinks and meals. Reservations are always important as top places like these have long wait times. Plan ahead! my favorite restaurant in Edmonton.

This is a great place for vegans and omnivores alike. There are lots of great plant-based options including the crispy tofu bowl and impossible burger. The crispy tofu bowl came with jasmine rice, edamame, and mango; it was filling and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. The vibe is nice and the location is great too (right next to West Edmonton Mall).

Had a super lovely experience here last night. The burger with mushroom was a game changer. I'd definitely recommend it to others. The wait for the food took quite a while but nonetheless, it was a great experience overall!

We were here for valentine's day (and couple of times before that as well) food is really yummy also drinks are well made . Today for V day place was really really busy but still service was quite fast. Prince was our server honestly amazing server such a good person with a joyful soul ! Despite the fact that there was a delay for one of our drinks and a mistake for a plate he took care of it quickly fixed it made sure everything was okay and that was super nice of him ! Will definitely be back !

We were repainting our place and lost track of time so we needed a place that opened late for a late supper on a Saturday night at 9:45pm. We were so happy we decided to go to Cactus Club. It was an amazing experience from check in to the end. Our hostess greeted us with energy as soon as we walked in (even this close to the end of the night), got sat right away. The decor and ambiance is modern but also inviting. Our waitress was amazing! She was very friendly and outgoing! We never had to wait for water or refill of our drinks, she was so apologetic when they ran out of the white chocolate cheesecake but then when they made more she came and told us right away! The food…. OMG it was soooo delicious! The prawn crunchy rolls were the perfect bites to start off the evening. It was really fresh and full of flavor. The only suggestion would be for us to get instructions on where the soya sauce was as we thought it was forgotten but to find out half way thru that the soya sauce was drizzled on the plate but we couldn’t see it as it was dark and the plate was dark as well. The butternut squash ravioli with prawns was heaven! You guys have to try it at least once, you won’t be disappointed! The Chargrilled steak was really good and the buttered mashed potatoes ????but the temperature on the steak was a tad wrong -we asked for medium rare and we got medium. the white chocolate cheesecake ….. was soo good rich and creamy ???? Oh and they have a special right now, all that dinner for two for $68 dollars!! Can’t wait to be back there again soon.

Went here for happy hour and had a wonderful experience! The food was great and our server was knowledgeable and kind. We just had to wait a bit for our order to be taken, but it was not a big deal since they were a bit busy. Overall really great!

Oh my goodness! Amazing! Service is great! Food was amazing omg. The zen rolls were a great start, and the ribs were fall off the bone delicious!! Literally the meat fell right off the bone it was delicious ???????? the drinks were all great! The tofu bowl was full of flavour and do fresh! Ended the night with the apple dessert ( which they decorated for our anniversary ) and it was beyond delicious. 100% will be back for date nights and anniversaries!

I had a reservation for a friends birthday on Friday night that got lost in the system. We showed up to be told our reservation wasn't showing up, despite having a confirmation email. The manager was there within minutes to confirm and apologize. I was blown away by their response. Everything was sorted and taken care of right away and they managed to put us at a smaller table for a little bit until the people beside us left and we could spread out. We were already happy enough with the resolution but they still went above and beyond and offered us a few free appetizers as well. From the hostess's to the server to the manager, I was extremely happy with the level of customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back.
