Edit 2021: I'll never buy a Tesla. Elon Musk is an absolute slimeworm of a human being. There's no such thing as an ethical billionaire. Jerry, responsible for our Model S test drive was a pleasure and a half to ride with. He was very genuine, friendly and down to earth especially as a Customer Experience Specialist. True to his word, and prepared to answer every question we had prepared. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review was the booking process, regarding a confirmation of the test drive. I received 4 total emails confirming the drive, none of which mentioned a phone call. We were interested in the Model S AND the Model 3, but when I said over the phone for a call confirmation that we were interested in the Model 3, the representative immediately told me that test drive bookings on weekends were reserved for those solely interested in the Model S, and that she would need to rebook my appointment. We booked the appointment 3 weeks in advance, planned ample time to drive upwards of an hour and a half into Toronto, and book time off work. To have that revoked was an incredibly disappointing call to receive. I asserted myself over the phone expressing that it was poor customer service to be treated as such, especially when it comes to a large purchase, and with Tesla priding themselves on User Experience. After a brief silence of the phone, she begrudgingly backtracked and only said that the test drive was confirmed, and to bring my driver's license to the location at the time of test drive. I thanked her for her time, and she hung up on me. All that said, despite getting caught in heavy traffic and stuck behind an accident putting us 30 minutes behind our appointment time, I called to indicate the issue and the staff that answered were nothing but pleasant. The on location staff were outgoing to ensure we had a positive experience in and out of the car.

Overall I love Tesla cars and everything else related to it. But I was trying to ask a question regarding my Model 3 reservation and charging station for my new home. there were only 2 staff at the store and both of them were talking to other people. Their conversation lasted for 15-20 minutes and I waited patiently. When one of them finished her conversation, I started asking my questions and the answers were rushed and very short. At the end she said call Tesla and ask them. I was kinda surprised that she could answer nonstop questions from another person for 20 minutes, but my 2 questions were rushed and not answered fully.

Amazing experience all around, from a test drive to selecting options for a vehicle build. Staff was incredibly friendly and and set a comfortable environment for me to ask any and all questions. Never felt I was being rushed or that the staff was disinterested whether or not I was a serious buyer.

I personally love Tesla cars. Where I am angry about is the customer service here at this location as it is very mixed. Some are very nice and knows customer service while others are just terrible. Had an appointment for a test drive at 12 PM but some how they thought it was for model 3 when it was for model X. They only had 1 model X to test drive which is ridiculous. Why only 1? They should have at least 2. They asked to come back by 1 PM as somebody else is currently test driving the model X. Came back at 1 PM but we still had to wait. Was already inconvenienced out for an hour and now we are waiting even longer... They did apologized but talk is cheap... Their communication skills are terrible. I still love the cars but first impression of the people who are representing the company really needs to be worked on. May give them a 2nd chance but for now they left a very bad taste. I am purely rating this location based on the customer service experience.

Please beware!!! Tesla is selling used/sold cars to new customers as new. Please check CARFAX report before taking delivery of your Tesla if you buy new. I hope @elonmusk & @Tesla_Canada will take actions to save potential Tesla buyers from these kinds of wrongdoings.

Went for a test drive of a Model S at this location - staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the products that they sell. Test drive went very well; test model is downstairs and the test drive route allows for the demonstration of most major features including autopark and autopilot. No ludicrous mode, though it is understandable! Location can get a bit busy at times (there are mobs of people who want to sit in the Model 3), but is a good customer experience!

Awesome experience! Alex at Tesla Yorkdale helped us so much! Tesla doesn't have a dealership so you have to go to the mall to get details. Alex answered all our questions and we test drive the model x which helped us with our decision. You can't negotiate the price like at a dealership....but it's just a different model for selling cars that you have to get used to. They ran thru the numbers with us and gave us details on device and warranty.

Roshan was such a great person. We had such a bad experience in different location and I kinda thought maybe Testla is not our option (I'm kinda trying to open up to the whole EV and I wasn't sure if I'm ready to commit to it) but we decided to give it another try with Yorkdale location and we end up with the greatest dealer in the universe. He made our experience so great and pleasant that I personally cant stop talking about it with our friends and family. When we were inquiring about the vehicles, it was clear that the level of interest we had was more so educational rather than informing an immediate purchase. We have genuine concerns like how Tesla’s really handle winters here, how we can deal effectively with warranty issues, and other specific questions. We were told to “check our the website” and google it, lol. Seriously? What’s the point of an experience store? Anyways, like I said we were interested at an educational level and that’s where it ends. Star added for CyberTruck. Cuz.

Great store..you can sit in the car and play with the giant main video console which are all the user controls for the car. You can choose a location to go-to and the system will determine if you can make it on your current electric charge or do you need a pit stop to charge the batteries. Very comfortable space age style car...

I Drove all the way from Mississauga in traffic. Took me an hour. The sales lady was snobby and rude, seemed pretty pretentious, and apparently the only one working. It looked like she was more interested in flirting with a man there than speaking with me and my husband - who are serious buyers and drove all that way to purchase. It ALMOST turned me off Tesla altogether. Also, when I did manage to get her attention, she made me feel stupid when I asked about a test drive. She scoffed "oh, no - we don't do test drives on the SAME DAY! You have to book in advance." Then she turned back to the man she was flirting with. I won't be going there again.

Went on a Saturday late afternoon, the place was PACKED! We were approached right away by one of the staff who was able to answer all of our questions. We came in for a test-drive not knowing you have to book this ahead of time. Luck was on our side as there was a cancellation. Vince, a Customer Experience Specialist took us out for a test-drive and he was exceptional! He is very knowledgeable, informative and very personable, which made for a VERY fun test-driving experience. He showed me how to change the options on the vehicle, auto-pilot and the speed and force upon acceleration. Scary yet exciting! If you've never test-driven one before, you simply must. It's like nothing you have ever experienced before. I imagine it would be like driving a spaceship, lol. AND, the sound system - incredible!

I was passing through the mall with my family, and we decided to stop in at the Tesla store for the heck of it. The place is well-kept and the staff are friendly as ever, but I overheard one of the staff members talking to another visitor to the store (and later asked to confirm whether or not what I thought I'd heard was correct), and was rather disappointed to learn how much the price of the company's vehicles went up (it seems they eliminated the standard Model S). Contrary to the company's stated goals, none of its vehicles is currently attainable for the average driver. I can't imagine the Cybertruck will be any different. I can only hope that, by Tesla being in the market, other manufacturers continue to be pressed to innovate in the electric space. Either that, or by the time I need a new car (hopefully quite a few years down the road), there will be a truly affordable Tesla.

Went to go order a Model 3 a few months ago. The man who helped us (I can't remember his name) was great to work with and explained every aspect of the car and ordering process. Contrary to some other reviews, the staff there was great and not "pushy" at all. Great experience ordering our car.

Came into this location looking to purchase and try a model s. But the amount of kids running around sitting in the driver seats and w.e with no adults is questionable . Barely got 5 minutes SITTING in the car before a random kid jumped into the page seat and played with the center screen. The staff obviously dont seem to care as much and when asking him certain questions. He volunteered to show me but AGAIN we had to wait.

Further I had reschedule my appointment for 6pm and arrived at 6:15, the guy denied me test drive on the grounds of store closing time. We came in a proper mood to book the car right away but such an unwelcoming response made us indecisive why to prefer tesla.

Went there looking for more info. Saw 3 reps working there that day....1 male & 2 females. The 2 females did not even say hi or adknowledge us. Finally the male rep approached us. He was very charty and always wanted to be right instead of trying to see what might fits our needs. So half way into the conversation, I lost interest and started to walk around & playing with the monitor. Now those 2 females approached me asking me what I needed help for, I told them politely that I was fine and needed no assistance. Then 1 of them insisted to tell me what I put into the monitor was wrong. Trying to let me know what the "right" way was. I repeated myself once more letting her know politely that I need no help. But it went to deaf ears! So I told the male rep that we would not be considering Tesla anymore. Especially now that the rebate is gone, there is no incentive anymore.

Worse place ever. We booked the test drive and the lady Carla lied to us by saying its not allowed to do a test drive with g2 driving license, also no where mentioned that we need to provide insurance as well which is a big lie as we already did test drive with other branch, and heard from my friends who are also G2 drivers that they were able to test drive just fine, I believe that she judged us and gets to choose whether we get service or not, because no where on the website nor confirmation email were we told those bs policies. Don't waste your time and go there.

I understand that, at a busy mall like Yorkdale, people will come in and out “just for fun” and also that Tesla’s are in high demand and people will order one anyways, but it was a rather disappointing experience to see that the staff don’t, at all, care about you (even when there was no one else in the store), since my experiences with Tesla were pleasant everywhere else.

Had a wonderful experience on Oct 24 at the Yorkdale Tesla outlet. The representative, Alexandru, was very patient throughout our detailed investigation of the car and the brand. He was very honest and forthright in his answering of our questions both about Tesla and the competition. Despite COVID 19, there were lots of folks milling about but he remained focused on us and our questions. He spent quite a bit of time with us despite the others. And the outlet is located just within the southwest entrance so it's easy to get to without incurring a lot of foot traffic in these COVID 19 times. Overall, an excellent experience!

The service is very bad compare to other luxury car dealership. Not very helpful as well.

Had a pleasant test drive experience while assist by Raymond. While I don't believe I had the Model 3 Performance [which I had requested], I got my first hands on experience behind the wheel of a Tesla. Nice people, no pressure. Small wait time when I had arrived.

The sales people did not seem very knowledgable about their fleet of cars. I walked in looking to buy a Tesla and they couldn't answer most of my questions. I felt like they were trying to sell me a phone rather than a car. I guess I'l be going to a real dealership to look for a new car. Nothing against the company, their staff is just bad and needs training.
