Like other reviewer said, absolutely the worst service. From sales to "service", the only amazing person that knows what he is doing is Robert Carroll. Other than that, you get better service at Kinkos! I have been double charged more than once, I have un-answered emails, confused orders, lack of manners, foul language at me. You name it ! Absolutely sub-standard. What a shame!

It would take me 10 pages to describe the shear amount of nonsense DPS has put me through so I'll share only one of many quick stories. My Boxster S went in for service. I was told to come and pick it up, which I did and I consequently drove 3 hours home. When I got home and stepped out of my car I noticed that the engine was exposed (AHHH!). I found the parts in my trunk. I don't know how I even managed to drive home but they must have put enough of the car back together for it to drive is all I can figure. Amazing. I have at least 7 more stories of equal nonsense to share. Later.

We bought our second Porsche from here. Michael LeDrew was our sales person. Incredible service. Answers calls, texts, emails. Quick turnaround. Cuts the BS and not aggressive at all. Respectful of your time and space. Gave us a great deal! Provided all the info which was helpful during Covid. Good safety practices in place at the dealership. I had to reschedule on Michael 3 times to pick up the car but luckily his colleague Johnny Lorenz was available each time. They have a great team and are flexible to work with your schedule. Satrap Dehghan helped me set up my car quickly and smoothly and I was able to make my way home to North Bay in under an hour! Would highly recommend.

UPDATE: So the manager got back to me and was willing to help me through. He was very accommodating and was able to help us in a way that we ended up making this purchase, exactly what I expected from a brand like Porsche. Super excited about my new purchase. Old Review: I was looking for a Porsche Macan S 2022 and got finance fully approved from my bank. In the end they asked me to put $5000 as non-refundable deposit without giving any tentative date for the delivery. When I asked the sales executive to make the deposit refundable he refused. All I was expecting was them to be a little accommodating. I was really serious about this purchase and in the end I had to cancel the order altogether. I would get in touch with another porsche dealership to finalize my purchase.

The advisor named Robert is not helpful at all. At the beginning, I made an apportionment for a service in the morning and i dropped my car on time. The advisor told me to pick up the car in the afternoon. The car wasn't ready in the afternoon when I got there , and he said they haven't started, he then said to pick up at 8pm, but the car was still not ready. They told me to pick up the next day, in the next day, they said again, the car need another week to be fixed. In the whole time, the advisor was not patient at all, and he never apologize when the fault is on them. They have being so irresponsible with their words, so that my time has been wasted. I'm deeply disappointed and frastrated.

Bought a car from Mike LeDrew two years back, but he failed to disclose the car was modified to a very severe extent until I paid deposit and when spoken to about it he told me I was "out of luck and will lose my deposit if backed out". Downtown Porsche welcomes me, every time I go it, for services, for enquiries, for events, for anything. Unbelievable staff, starting from the crew at the entrance of the service foyer, then the consultants at the service desks, and moving into the showroom. They grant the patrons friendly and comfortable attention. You don't neccessarily have to commit to buy a Porsche to get the acknowledgement. You get free expresso coffee, true! That is genuine class, no doubt it starts from the top (leaderships). Sale consultant (my) Wilson Xiao delivers all the skills, expertise, professionalism and knowledge that I expect, and more..... He gave confidence. That's the primary reason why I went back to him to get my 2nd purchase (upgrade). He successfully built trust - origin of loyalty. My compliments to him and his sale manager Ab. Recently purchased a 2020 Macan S from Johnny Lorenz back in early Feb and our experience was stellar. We had a list of specs in mind and Johnny helped us refine that list according to our driving + budget needs, we're very happy with the car we got. Our estimated delivery was mid May, then COVID happened so we didn't expect to see the car until summer / late summer. Johnny + Porsche kept us updated throughout this time and we picked up the car today (May 1st), the experience was excellent. Johnny met us with mask + gloves on, keys in the envelope, the car's steering wheel + seats wrapped and disinfected. It made us feel like we were in good hands, given the times especially. He explained the features of the car to us, answered our questions, ran back and forth to help us finish off some last minute paper work and sent us on our way. It was just a great experience and I'm guaranteed to return for future Porsches. If you're in the market, I highly suggest asking for Johnny Lorenz.

They do not protect and support the customers. Perhaps they are too busy and can't take care of all the customers but I had a much higher expectation and respect for this company before. Now the vendor has my information and is acting very aggressive. I am left in a situation I had never imagined myself in. I had called Customer Care to seek help, no one had called me back. The service guy Alex was kind but this is obviously outside of his jurisdiction. Extremely disappointed.

Bought my Macan GTS from Steve at Downtown Porsche and have had nothing but a great experience. While we were waiting on the car to arrive Steve keep me updated regularly and made sure we were invited to exclusive Porsche events the dealership was hosting. I used to take my 911 to Pfaff but their customer service is not even in the same ball park. Out of 3 Porsche dealerships I have dealt with, Downtown Porsche is the only one I would ever refer friends to. The service department never makes you wait, and ensure you get dropped off and picked up in a timely manner. Great organization, great people. Will be a long term customer for sure.

I normally refrain from spending time writing reviews, but I could not ignore their absolutely terrible customer service. I went in near the end of day today (Saturday) to look for a Macan for my wife. When I asked the receptionist for a sales rep she did not raise her head from the computer and simply responded that no, there was no one around to assist. I lingered and checked out the cars solo, finally approaching a rep who was finishing up with a customer, asked for a hand, yet he was reluctant to help and told me to check out the prices online. I was dressed casually after coming from the gym and assume they stereotyped my appearance. My experience at all the other luxury manufacturers has been exceptionally better

I had to wait almost one hour in cold outside of the service even if I was on time to pick up my car. I have mentioned the service representative so many times and he confirmed that I will pick the key from the security person. I showed up on time, the security person had no idea and said nobody told him anything for the pick up. I usually go to PFAFF Porsche. It was the first time at Downtown Porsche with worst/no respect service experience. Trust me other dealerships are providing better service for my other cars. Not expected experience from a Porsche dealership. Never ever again.

I’ve only had good experiences with Downtown Porsche whether it’s an oil change, a flat tire, or a recall. My sales rep was and is Micheal LeDrew, from my first email inquiring about the Macan to my lastet inquiry on a Panamera S4 he has been nothing but helpful and beyond accommodating. He is the reason why I’m leasing my second Porsche from Downtown. He knows the product, he is knowledgeable, and doesn’t use high pressure tactics to sell a car. I appreciate ghis candor and no nonsense approach.

My wife took my SUV for the 3rd year service couple of weeks ago. She was at the service centre around 7:30 am and been told that the vehicle will be ready 1:30pm. No one called her to give any update until 2pm and she had to call and find out that the it is going to be delayed and some part were also missing that we /they need to make arrangements for it. Because of that unexpected delay I had make arrangements to my work scheduled to pick up the kids and total evening plan has to be changed. My wife told me that the way she has been treated that she does not want to go there anymore. anyways.... So last week they came to my house to take my SUV to fix the missing parts and leave a similar model vehicle for my use. When I drove the other vehicle I noticed the smooth acceleration which I don't feel my SUV anymore. So I texted my concern to the service agent but he right away said that is a different model and did not even try to understand my concern. I was very disappointed and laster I have told by their driver that both are same models. So the Service Agent did not even no the loaner vehicle mode and also he just rejected my concern right away did not make me feel like a valuable customer. Also, I was not kept in the loop for the time that they were going to return my vehicle. So I texted them on that day evening asking them when will get my vehicle and I got a response that the vehicle is ready and the driver will call you shortly but I did not get any calls on that day to tell me the time or any kind of update. On the next day I get a message saying that they can deliver for 9:30 am in the morning and I replied that I am available around 3:30pm. There is no response from the service centre whether they can make it 3:30pm or not at all. I was busy at work and when it was around 3:45 pm, I texted them again about the vehicle delivery and got a reply that the driver is on his way and will deliver in 5 minutes. They never confirmed about 3:30pm and the driver is just taking the car. Luckily I was close by to take the car back. Then I got a text for FEEDBACK whether I would recommend to my family and friends based on my last visit. I texted back "NO". Few days are gone now and nobody at downtown Porsche does not seem to care about my feedback that why I felt that I do not want to recommend to family and friends. I WILL NOT GO TO DOWNTOWN PORSCHE anymore....

I had a problem with my car that my (always excellent, but not as well-equipped) independent mechanic gave up on. My experience with dealers always has been that they take your money first and ask questions later, so I expected to hear nothing and then be confronted with a four-figure bill for random semi-specified stuff. Not at all - Robert Caroll kept me up-to-date almost by the hour, kept asking me questions about the situation to make sure that the mechanic only did the minimal necessary work, and that way we could avoid a huge amount of time and money being spent. Yes, the bill still wasn't to sneeze about, but it could have been much worse with someone who cares less at the other end of the line. Great job!

It was a pretty bad experience! I had a flat tire on my car, brought it into this dealership to have it repair/replace on April 12. When I knew it has to be replace, I asked to confirm the tire size with the service team, and 265/30/20 is what they provided to me. I did some research online and I’m pretty sure my car should be running 265/35/20 tire. Since my friend has one of those exact same tire sitting around and willing to give it to me. I called the service team again and asked them to double check but he insisted that the size he provided earlier was correct. So they ordered the tire and replaced it. But after I picked up my car, I noticed that the tires on my car are 265/35/20! I ended up paying $600 for a tire that I do not need at all!

JP (as he calls himself) was very accommodating with my fathers language and hearing barriers as we visited the dealership several times. He even took care of us when my father changed his mind on a vehicle after all the paperwork was completed without and issues. I want to say that I will be taking my business else where. Chantelle in the service department seemed friendly at first but when asked a few questions it became apparent that she has no clue what she is talking about or has a very minimal knowledge about vehicles let alone the brand and any answer she gave was very generic like something you would hear from Canadian tire or Google. She tried upselling me on an alignment and brake fluid service but got that done a year ago and I don't drive the car that often and the car drives perfectly straight and I checked the tire depth and it's all even on all four corners so no signs of alignment being off but insisted I should get an alignment every year... I get it there is commission to be made, so you are pushed to upsell. But if youre going to upsell atleast know what you are talking about and don't take me for a fool to believe that non sense. Will be going to a different Porsche service center from now on.

Such staff had stated things to the extent of "the Porsche xxx is not yet available" when in fact I know people who have existing allocations for such cars. Called them to make an appointment for service and got transferred to a service advisor. I waited on hold for someone to come on the phone, however 10 mins of waiting and it sounded like someone picked up the phone and hung up. I called back asking to have someone call me back since they claimed they were a little busy. 6 hours later and the dealership is closed and I have yet to get a call. Even though I told the receptionist what had transpired. The first time I actually went to this dealership, they returned the car to me soaking wet and not even wiped down. Horrible service!

Got a close-to-retail trade-in value for my old Cayenne, and Eric still managed to offer me enough discount to make my family more than happy. Extremely disappointing experience as a first time Porsche buyer with sales representative, Scott McCallum and Pre-Owned Manager, Ab Hamid. After the purchase, they held my $5,000 deposit for two months and never responded to my follow up emails or calls. I had to show up at the dealership to “ask” for my deposit back. As an apology, they promised to invite me to the track day and waive the cost but I never received an invite. When I saw photos of a track day on their Facebook page, I called about the invite and they said there were no track days (how does that make sense?). I then connected with Scott and he said they would make it up to me. I still haven’t heard back and it’s been over two months. In summary, 1. They held my money for two months 2. Forgot to invite me to a promised event and lied about it 3. Said they would “make it up” and never followed through Overall, a terrible experience at Downtown Porsche.

It was a smooth process, to the point almost everything was done by Email, and I only needed to be at the dealership twice (once to test drive the GTS and the second time the day I drove my new GTS home). She makes hersef available, did her very best to meet my requirments without exploding the invoice. I will be placing a deposit for the upcoming Taycan with Antje too. You can buy a Porsche anywhere, but you can’t always buy exceptional service, because with Antje and the DT Porsche Managment including Amanda Sarju, they do it because they respect what they do, and find value in providing exceptional service. Michael in service deserves a shout-out too, I am impressed by how he would attend to providing small service (tyre pressure, prosche connect etc) on the day, despite the service department being extremely busy. I appreciated the 1000$ loyalty discount when I got my GTS , so thank you to Chris Plater! I really hope they can expand their dealership, because with the upcoming Taycan, I don’t doubt they would be the dealership of choice for returning Porsche and new drivers! Thank you.

i cant say i am the happiest customer from downtown Porsche. took the car in for a minor issue, where i felt they didnt necessarily need to charge what they did for the work being done but this isnt the biggest issue. biggest issue ive had is the car wash. ive been to pfaff and north toronto for service, after each one, theres a car wash which i never had an issue with. At downtown porsche they wash cars, but the old school way.... with a broom leaving swirl and scratches all over. i just had the car detailed to get rid of swirl marks and scratches yet they just put them all back on. in my mind you pay a premium for the brand, service and quality. i cant say i experienced the attention to detail at this location and leaves me with a feeling of disappointment.

Had and appontment at 10am to program my key. Came 15 min earlier at 9:45 am. Until 11:50 nobody did anything and I asked front desk why it takes so long to program the key, your guys at 12 gonna have their lunch (which they said it shoudn't take more than an hour), the manager comes out with one of their mechanic asking how can i help you? So i coudn't wait anymore, because my 7 years old son had a dentist appontment at 12:30 in Vaughan. Finally i was able to purchase a porsche key on Amazon for $39.00 and replace the blade and a microchip myself. They were gonna charge me $700.00. Morality: after bad experience you're trying to figure out yourself.

I recently got a 2019 Porsche Macan S and had a truly amazing experience at this dealership! Eric Sun was the Sales Representative that helped me and I was very impressed with his level of knowledge and overall professionalism. Eric was super helpful and explained every last detail to me. I never felt rushed or pressured and he made sure to walk me through every single feature of the car. Porsche is well known for their buttons and it was nice to have Eric take time before the test drive to teach them to me. I also traded in my old vehicle. I didn't want to go through the hassle of selling it privately but was quoted pretty low numbers at other dealerships. Eric and Stuart (Manager) offered me great value and made it a very seamless process. The delivery date was also an amazing process. Eric greeted us and got us coffees before going over the paperwork (which he did in great detail to make sure I understood what I was signing). I was then introduced to Jack Ryan who brought me to my new car and showed me all the details and walked me through a very thorough tutorial. He set up my Apple CarPlay, made sure I customized my seats and helped me personalize it to my exact liking. Eric was also there during the tutorial which I appreciated. I opened the trunk and found a nice gift - a very nice touch! The post-sale service was also fantastic! A few days later I was having trouble adjusting my reverse mirror option. I called Eric and he told me to come in so they can help me. Eric and Stuart helped me set it up immediately without any wait time. The level of service this dealership and its staff provided was above and beyond what I was expecting. I highly recommend this location and Eric Sun. Thank you guys for a great buying experience!

Had to wait for an hour when showed up on time and then went to pickup the car the service agent did not care and they didn’t even wash the car and had some excuse for it. Worst service center have no respect for people’s time or be able to give a white glove service. Not expected experience from a Porsche dealership. I normally go to oakville but came here because it is close to work but never again.

Honestly so confused - I called on March 17th to book a Boxster test drive (mentioned I'm looking to upgrade from a BMW M235) and the receptionist told me that there are no sports car demos available in Canada and that they "put all demo cars in driveways." She mentioned I could purchase/lease a sports model but it would take 4 months to arrive. I am now travelling the extra distance to visit Porsche North York this weekend where they have several sports car demos available. What a bizarre situation.

The experience at this dealership has been simply abysmal. Taycan drives well but poor quality. Fewer rattles in my 2015 F150. Got a new Taycan 4s. Will be going to the dealership for the 4th or 5th time in 5 weeks (second time this week). Picking up the car was an excersise in sitting in the car for 2 hours to try and get the login and radio setup. The salesperson just gave up and said it might fix itself. No proper instructions on the car, nothing. VERY disappointing experience when taking delivery of a new car. Then the rattles. Second time going over to try and fix today. Software is buggy, multiple error messages, often unable to connect. Yesterday we couldn't even turn on the radio. First time trying to charge at electrify america, spent 30 min on the phone with them to try and make it work. This week, went to get rattles fixed for the second time and the winter wheels and tires mounted. They call us and tell us that the wheels and tires are not paid for. We send over the bill of sale that shows it. I guess service is too lazy to ask the salesperson. Then they mount the wrong wheels and wrong tires. Good thing we have a picture of the ones we bought, off we go to the dealer again this week. Leather on the steering wheel is also scratched after today's visit. The answer: We wrap the steering wheel. Nice. The taycan may drive circles around Fords and Mazdas, but this dealership has a lot to learn about service, and Porsche has some homework to do on quality.

This review is for Michael Theodoridis, Assistant Service Manager at Downtown Porsche. I live in Austin, TX. I recently was looking at a used Porsche in the Toronto area. I had scheduled a Pre-Purchase-Inspection (PPI) at Downtown Porsche. I had flown up to Toronto expecting to buy the car and drive it back. The dealership is gorgious and high-end. Michael was awesome! He understood that this was a substantial potential purchase and that clear, complete results of the PPI would be crucial. He assigned my car to a very thorough technician and I was invited back to examine the car when it was on the lift and plugged into the Porsche diagnostic system. Long story short, there was information from the PPI that kept me from buying the car and potentially making a big $ mistake. More importantly, Micheal was professional, informative, responsive and super attentive my my needs and concerns. He was my "advocate" that day and I am very grateful. I was in the market for a nice SUV and my choices came down to a Cayenne and a Range Rover Sport both I've always been a fan of but leaning toward Porsche. I made an appointment, went in with my wife to look at the inventory. Nice enough sales guy who took the time and showed us the options available and print outs with details. At the end, I had the most basic request when purchasing a vehicle especially a $100k+ one, and it was simply "can I test drive the car?" to which the nice enough salesman said "Not possible due to covid restrictions". I was baffled and asked if there's a way but hit a dead end with buddy. Thanked him, went to my other appointment the next day at Grand Touring Auto and purchased a new Range Rover SVR. I was ready to pull the trigger but the ridiculousness of their policy made me go with the more reasonable folks at Grand Touring. A part of me still wants the Cayenne S Coupe but the RR is great!

Just picked up a beautiful car that we have planned for and looked forward to for a long time. It’s a bit of a special model (GT4), and when I put a deposit down in 2017, it wasn’t even clear that Porsche would build the car again (it was a one-model year car in 2016). But in 2020 - they decided to do so! In that time, while waiting to see if the car would actually be offered, I have had great conversations with Johnny and gotten to know both the dealership and the brand. Another curve ball was thrown by COVID and European Delivery had to be cancelled. Nonetheless, we had a lovely delivery experience here in Toronto. These are special cars and the experience should be special - and it has been! Thanks to Johnny at Porsche Downtown in Toronto for making that happen for us!

Not impressed with my experiences at this dealership or with the staff. Purchased a used Porsche through their CPO program. Turns out the car had been in a fairly significant accident. Apparently their due diligence ends with the Carfax report, even though the Porsche website claims all cars are returned to as new condition. Yeah, not in this case. Currently considering small claims court in an effort to recoup some of my costs for the structural repairs needed to make the car safe.
