Misleading information from the owners led me to believe that the fishing there was worth the 5 hour drive. Fishing was brutal. Many other anglers around me confirmed the facts! Also be aware thete is no internet on the property. I will not go back.

Absolutely loved coming here, we felt so welcomed and enjoyed our trip so much we booked for next year the day before we left. The cabin was nice and clean and the well suited for my family. We had such a great time we bought sweaters and mugs to show off fishtail cabins! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and making us feel so welcomed we can’t wait until we come back summer 2022

Great campground! The hosts Luc and Lynn are amazing, superbly nice and welcoming. They are amazing hosts. The water access provides for great fishing and the pool is awesome to cill the kids down. Great relaxing spot!

We fell in love with Fish Tale! We were lucky enough to have two visits this summer. The site was large enough to accommodate our 36ft trailer. The surroundings were perfect, nestled in trees with plenty of shade. Because of Covid, there is assigned swim times for families which is wonderful! Lynn and Luc are absolutely amazing hosts and took great care of our families. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Luc guided us to our site, he told us about the fishing and then delivered firewood to the site! The sweaters Lynn makes are so comfortable and it was always so nice to see Tico and Hunter. Hopefully we will see you next year! Thank you for some amazing memories. ❤️

Booked for a last min trip. Such amazing owners that really care about the guests. The cottage #2 was rustic but spotless and inviting. Perfect to forget about city life. Fishing in the area is great but with so many place to go sometimes a little to help from Luc will set you straight.

For terms of campsites this is really a treasure. Tucked away up north it offers off-grid feel but with a homie touch. Prices are reasonable and owners are friendly and easy to get along with.

Stayed at Fish Tale Cabins in Cottage #4. The place was extremely clean, warm with electric heating, and included lots of bedding, pillows, and blankets. Luc and Lyne are fantastic owners who checked in with us quite often to make sure we were having a great time and catching fish. The customer service was more than we could have ever asked for and they even helped fix our vehicle when we had some issues upon departure. The fishing was great, cabins were clean and warm, and people were friendly and respectful. Thanks again, Luc and Lyne.

I have camped at a lot of different campgrounds across Canada and the Northern US, and I have to say Luc and Lyne were the friendliest and most accommodating hosts I've met. They aim to make sure their guests are very pleased with their stay. Luc would come around every evening and make sure you had a great day and see if you needed anything. The campground has so many amenities catering to anyone who loves fishing and going out on the water. The location is also amazing, it seems like you can travel forever by water. It was quite the adventure and we will look forward to returning in the future.

If I could give 10 stars I would to the owners of Fish Tale Cabins & Campgrounds. The campground was full when we pulled in on July 3 (seems there was a COVID rush on campsites across the province!) but owners Luc and Lyne went completely out of their way calling 5 different camp grounds trying to find us a spot...which they did. I could not believe what they did to help myself and my daughter - thank you Lyne and Luc - you truly care about your clients and people. Shelley.

Loved the experience at Fish Tail Cabins & Campground. From having a campground booked for me and the girlfriend and the kids to getting it canceled due to overbooking. I came across fishtail cabins and campgrounds sent an email had a very quick response and they had an early cancellation which was able to fit into our schedule. Me and the girlfriend made it work with the kids they had a couple days to enjoy and I had the whole week to myself for fishing and relaxation from work in the city. We rented cabin # 3 which is a nice small cabin that fit us 4 nicely it was very clean well organized and very well stocked with equipment to use. Upon arrival Luc was there to greet me and explain everything to us and also return with a load of wood for us to have a nice relaxing fire as well. Luc and Lynn I want to thank you for a very relaxing and pleasurable vacation I highly recommend Fish Tail Cabinet Campground to anyone that I talk to I'm looking forward to visiting again when I could get free time from work.

Excellent place to go & relax & enjoy the beauty of nature. The owners are very friendly & accommodating. The cabins are very clean & fully furnished. The campground is very well maintained & the campers are friendly. I would highly recommend this campground for anyone looking for a quiet place to relax & unwind.

This place is the best very well taken care of five stars got pool for the kids the owners are very nice as soon as we got there we got a camp site the owner helped us but are boat in. We were on the river fishing with in 10 mins of getting there. Love it they know how to take care of you. Very clean place will go back. This is place is like heaven. So relaxing they got worms ice and wood we stayed at the site right beside the pool washrooms right there dish washing station. Right there and water for coffee. The pool looks so clean. If it wasn't that cold would have taken a swim. And they sell very nice hats. Great people. Don't for get your camera. You get very nice sunset pictures off the dock.

We stayed at Fish Tale in the last week of June, I gave this place a 5 star simply because of Luc and Lynne, owners and operators of this resort. They made us feel at home, and were very helpful. We stayed at Cabin #1 and it has everything we needed. We had a great time fishing specially at Wolseley River where my son Jonathan caught his biggest bass so far. Overall we enjoyed our stay from the boat rides on the French River, day trip to clear Lake, wildlife watching and simply relaxing at the campfire. Will definitely return.

Fish Tale Camp and Cabin are the real deal! Such amazing hosts in L & L - so hospitable! Rented a cabin and tent site for a third year in a row here and they continue to out do themselves. Clean, beautiful area in the French River.
