I met Dawson last week and he showed me a 2019 Avalon Ltd which I decided I could not afford. Dawson was not pushy at all. He could tell that I was disappointed and through further discussion he showed me a 2018 Camry Hybrid (Demo) which I was interestedstaff and Dawson put together a deal that worked for me and Welland Toyota. Five Stars all the way! Our family has purchased six new vehicles form this dealership over the last 10 years. Most recently last month we purchased a new 2017 Prius V to replace a 2014 leased Toyota which we traded in 18 months early. Dan was our salesman and did a great job helping meet our needs with no pressure. Cherie the business manager was also wonderful when it came to all the paper work and final decisions when dong the actual purchase and financing. We have visited other car dealerships both Toyota and other manufacturers however have always returned to Welland Toyota to purchase. I hate high pressure tactics that have been heaped on us at some other dealers. The deal/trades etc. at Welland Toyota have always been fair and clear and up front right from the sales staff, without the silly you better buy tonight or the deal will change etc. we got from a local Nissan dealer! Love our new Prius V! Thanks! Update April 2021 just got a service completed yesterday, this dealer goes the extra mile, friendly and service costs are reasonable and never any pressure to do upgrades or unnecessary stuff! Toyota cost of ownership is the best in the industry at both 5 and 10 year ownership levels! Great dealer!

Second time I’ve ever been here. I needed some specific Toyota only WS transmission fluid and a rear wiper. I talked to Matthew the Service Manager...he really knew his stuff. Very friendly and outgoing. I wasn’t sure about the rear wiper and in the rain and snow he offered to go outside and take a look at it for me. Showed me even how it came off (it’s not a usual standard wiper...Japan built vehicle). Just from my short interaction, and previous experience working in the field, I was impressed. I went and got the wiper from my parts guy cause it was cheaper, but came back to get the fluid I needed and dealt with Ryan from Parts. He too came outside in the bad weather to double check the fluid requirements from the dipstick under my hood because his computer was conflicting. Got me the right fluid with a smile and box to carry it all. Really impressed with the service I received and will return.

I went to trade in my car for something newer. I did not tell them I had previously had my car appraised for 8-10 grand. They offered me 6k. Disappointed with the lowball offer, however went through with trying to buy a vehicle. I put a deposit down on a car that ultimately didnt work out. I talked to the sales person to see if we can run more numbers on another car. I waited days to hear back but got nothing. I eventually just asked for deposit back. I feel like because the first car didnt work out they just kinda "gave up" on me.

First of all they dont even deserve a single star, but it's the lowest I can give. I brought my 2016 tacoma in for what I am certain to be bad body mounts causing a horrible steel on steel sound over bumps. Anyway, I brought it to the stealership last week and requested a drive with their service manager Matt Brouhton. I replicated the issue exactly and expressed my concerns as he jotted down notes. They said they'd try to figure out the issue and get back to me by the end of the day. The day went by and they never called me which is highly unprofessional mind you and didnt get back to the following Tuesday. They claimed nothing was wrong with the vehicle and blamed it on my aftermarket air intake, laughable. Charged me $123 for simply adding foam around the plastic in my front end claiming that might've been the issue. Signed my papers, paid and left without arguing. If ANYONE is considering going here for service, dont. Today ( July 5 ) I called toyota canada and filed a complaint against the service manager and left notes of my experience. I brought my truck to Performance Toyota off of lake street in St kitts and they were more than willing to asses my situation and were there to help. Low and behold they agreed with my issue and have advanced the situation, escalating it to get a field mechanic to review my case with Toyota head office in toronto. The service assistant manager there, Jen, and some of the mechanics including one named Alex (didnt get last names) were awesome to work with and acknowledged all my requests and concerns. THEY deserve 5 stars across and hopefully they will resolve my ISSUE. Welland doednt seem to care at all about helping the consumer or even bother with looking where the issue is, incompetent workers nonetheless. All in all I'm never returning or stepping foot in that place. Thanks for ripping me off, people beware.

I drove 2.5 hours from Midland to view the car. Despite not likely to return to Welland Toyota because of the distance between Welland and Midland I was treated by Salesperson Travis Burger and Financial Services Manager Shirley Marriott with friendliness and respect. They treated me just as they would a local customer who might return regularly for maintenance and repairs. Both Travis and Shirley made the purchase extremely simple and convenient. I was able to contact them easily via phone and email with my questions and was never made to feel like an inconvenience (and I'm sure I was). I had a very bad experience at this dealership. The sales person and myself discussed and agreed to matching a price of a new car from a different dealership. The pricing of the other car dealership, and all the background information was disclosed and discussed during the original interaction. I came back the following day to close the deal. I received a draft bill of sale with a price that did not include anything that was agreed to but the Welland dealership's original price. After the Welland dealership prepared and handed their draft bill of sale to me, and I asked about the significant differences, the sales person responded that that quote from the dealership that I was matching was based off of two instances of incorrect information. It wouldn't have been bad if this issue was brought up during my initial visit, or immediately during the second visit before a draft bill of sale was prepared so that I could have considered the new price. In this instance I feel as though the sales person either was intentionally deceitful or completely disregarded our entire conversation. A week later, the salesperson emailed me to ask if I would still be interested in purchasing a car from them, and offered to match correct pricing from any other dealership. This was extremely frustrating because not only did the salesperson not attempt to correct their awful customer service, but even went as far as trying to continue to sell. So disappointing!

What can I say other than the experience from beginning to end was low stress, informative and enjoyable. My wife hadn't had a new car in 9 years so we ventured out looking for something for her. My mother brought her car here today for a simple oil change. They tried scamining her out of $1400. She just finished all her extended warranties. So they told her she needed rotors, cause they had one speck of rust, calibers cause of the contion of the rotors and new pads cause there was nothing left. All with out leaving a finger print on the rim. Sent her to the boys at 3RD Stop truck center cause I hear their ad on the radio all the the time. Well glad I did, only cost her a new air filter. Rotors are in great condition, brakes have enough life to last her till fall they said. Do not take your vehicle here! I don't have enough time to explain what my mother over heard them telling an elderly woman about her car. Please, times are hard enough. If you value your parents, grandparents and bank accounts, stay away from these scammers, cons, crooks. How many have they stollen from?

Welland Toyota is the definition of a used car nightmare. We bought a used car that was "safe" but the front brakes were completely gone and rusted to the point where the calipers were digging into the rotors to stop the car. I spoke to Dominic about this and he said sorry about your luck. He did absolutely nothing for us. We had to pay an extra $600 for the brakes to be properly done. We brought it to the proper dealership, the make of the vehicle to fix this, because why would we trust Welland Toyota for the second time around. I will never ever recommend Welland Toyota for anyone if you value your safety. I am beyond disgusted that they threw out this issue. Dominic has zero customer service by writing this off and saying sorry that happened to you but you bought this car it's your problem now. We are absolutely disgusted with them and their team.

All of these vehicles were superb in performance, comfort and reliability. Bought a brand new 2018 carolla in december 2018, the day I drove it off the lot I had a rattle in my dash. I attempted to address the issue multiple times 5-6 over one year and not once did they fix the rattle. I get the same response every visit that the mechanic can not hear the rattling wires. So according to Toyota Welland everyone except their service department can hear the noise. Time for you to provide hearing aids to your staff.... reading previous comments on here proves they have a set standard of IGNORING issues until you get frustrated enough to stop complaining. Poor service, and that is why we never traded in our second vehicle for the 4runner. I will be trading this crappolla car to another dealership, perhaps Subaru would like our money? They were always good......until my last visit. Then they got me! "Wheel rotation and allignment" was $150 and the car pulls to the same afterwards. It's my fault though, I should have known that money sucking service is equal to having your pocket picked. Until this, I was almost starting to trust them. Almost but after spending over $1,400.00 and having to bring the car back to "look at it" is not acceptable. Dealership, most of us know, should work hard to earn your trust with the reputation they have, but they didn't .

When considering if you should buy and/or service a vehicle from Welland Toyota, let me assure you that you will not receive better service or commitment to product anywhere else. After purchasing my vehicle from Welland in April 2020, I was surprised to have difficulty with my Rav 4 a year later. Unfortunately, I live too far from Welland to have it serviced there and was taking it to a dealership closer to home. As a result, the problem was misdiagnosed and I was led to believe that I would need to cover a large repair and warranty wouldn’t cover it. Thankfully, I thought to contact Welland after this discouraging and stressful news. Will Walters contacted me and had my car diagnosed and fixed under warranty within a day! We had a very bad experience in this dealership. We were shopping around and wanting to trade in our fully paid car for a brand new Rav4. So we agreed on a deal but we changed our mind and wanting a different vehicle. Our agent when we wanted to sit down again and talk about it he wasn’t very helpful and it seems that he doesn’t want to sell us a highlander and insisting that we get the rav4 for the reason is because that they dont have it in stock and they would have to look for one. We feel we were being pressured to get the vehicle that we changed our mind on. Even the financial manager was very unprofessional he showed inappropriate actions towards us when we told him that we were not going to pursue the deal. It was very disrespectful and they were not being honest. Would not recommend this dealership! I wouldn’t even put a star they don’t deserve it.

THE BEST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO...PERIOD! From the sales person, to the finance lady and the owner. They treat you like family. The used car (2012 Toyota Camry) I purchased was done up above and beyond my expectations. Drove 2 hours to dealership after a few back and forth on vehicle preferences and initial quotes. Wasn't shown the vehicle I wanted, which i thought was in stock, then was subjected to several rounds of "III take this offer to my manager" and high pressure sales tactics to sign the day of for a vehicle which wasn't in stock. Didn't sign and wasted 4 hours. Ended up using a car buying service and paying the service fee, which was well worth it (lookup CBC Marketplace 's article on "How to buy a car without getting ripped off" on youtube for more info), to get an invoice price (not the mrsp price) and a pre-negotiated price/quote which was $1500 less than Welland Toyota quote.

The definition of customer service. I purchased a 2011 tundra in December of 2018. It had an issue with the differential. It took awhile for us to figure out what the issue was and was fixed this week. Why am I not mad it took so long you ask ? The whole time I was assured by Drew Etherington the issue would be resolved . I never felt abandoned through out this experience. Great communication from Drew . I have purchased several new and used vehicals in the last 3 years and never had this level of service period. Niels Pedersen runs a class act dealership that others should take notes from. BEWARE! I saw an ad on their website for 2015 Toyota Corolla and reading the description and looking at the pictures it was almost all that I was looking for. So, I drove 2 hours from where I live to test drive it. When I got there it turned out that the description and pictures under that stock market was for a different Corolla which was 2016. So, it turned out that they messed up the ads and they kept blaming it on Auto Trader which is weird because before the ads are posted they go through approval process so Toyota must have approved it. They ended up giving me a deal on the 2016 but it turned out to not even be close to worth it because of what they put me through next. 2 weeks after picking up the car, I heard a grinding and rattling noise coming from the front tires. I looked at the tire and it looked like something wasnt attached properly so I called and spoke with Drew. He told me its unsafe to drive and they towed it to the local dealership. It turned out that they didnt tighten the caliper upon inspection. So, it fell out. This means that the car wasnt safe to drive. Now I doubt that they did an inspection at all. Drew said that they dont cut corners when it comes to safety. Clearly they do. Drew was extremely defensive, rude and kept yelling at me because I was extremely upset at the fact that they sold me a defective, unsafe vehicle. They tried giving me a rental while this car was being repaired but the way it was handled was just another hassle and nightmare. I lost a day of work because I was on the phone with them all the time. One time when I called and was trying to get a hold of Drew, I was told by the receptionist Sommer that he isnt available. I was trying to explain to her that this is a priority and I need to speak to him to which she replied that she doesnt care. Dan was the sales person that sold me the vehicle and assured me that they would fix all the scratches and stains. Didnt do this either. When I picked up the car from the local Ford dealership, because that's where they sent me, the driver's door interior was dirty. I cant expres enough how dangerous it was to drive the car. They admitted it, fixed it which was their job to do in the first place but other than that they didnt care. They put my life at risk and Drew showed no sympathy whatsoever. He kept yelling at me and told me I am the one who's difficult because I was upset. I will be filing a complaint with OMVIC and I advise you to do the same if you ever had issues with them. You would think that they would offer another inspection of the car but no. After this incident, I am concerned about the safety of this car so I will be taking it in for an inspection and we will see what else its found. Notes from the dealership that fixed it: left front caliper to saddle bolts fell out one was missing one was in by a few threads. Again, they cut corners when it came to the inspection of the car which they clearly didn't do. They don't seem to care about customers or in what state they sell their cars.

Welland toyota is the definition of the used car nightmare! They sold me a car that the front brakes were completely worn out and spitting rust metal onto the car (74000kms) yet they had replaced the rear brakes with some white box specials. And when i took the car to be inspected at subaru they could not believe i recieved a vehicle so unsafe. And toyota would not take responsibility at all for the few hundred to make the car safe. The finance department older lady and sales girl were complete robots and messed everything up right down to the agreed payment schedule. Please spare yourself the sadness and anger. Also i brought this vehicle in for very overfilled oil on the second day. And i got it back with a 3 inch grease glob on the fender as if they git the lift ;) go ANYwhere else.

She was interested in a pre-owned 2013 Corolla they had advertised, but it turned out that it was in the shop while they were doing work on the bumpers so she had to wait two weeks for them to put it back together before she could test drive it. The salesperson then forgot to call my daughter to let her know that it was ready. She eventually called them and found out it was, but had to call twice over the course of a couple of days before the salesman would even return her call so she could set up a time for the test drive. We were then very disappointed to find out that when the bumpers were painted and put back on they weren't even the same color blue as the rest of the vehicle. What painter do you use?? It's really not that hard to match colours these days. Fortunately for you, my daughter decided that having a Toyota which is known to be a mechanically solid vehicle was important to her, so she decided to purchase the two-toned vehicle. The salesman also agreed to drop the price a little to make up for the poor paint job. She went to pick up her new vehicle last Saturday, but they had either forgotten or hadn't bothered to replace the worn tires like they said they would so she has had to wait a week for that because apparently they had to order the tires because they didn't have any in stock. Yesterday, less than a week after getting her vehicle, she has discovered that there is a slow leak in one of the tires as she ended up with a flat. She called today, Saturday, which is a week after picking up her new vehicle, hoping she could finally get her new tires but they said the earliest they can get her in to put them on is Wednesday. So now she is going to have to pump up her tire every day until they can find the time to fit her in. How did this vehicle pass the safety?? There is also a headrest missing in the back seat and she is currently getting the run around with the salesman about getting that taken care of. There was a small crack in the tail light and as I am typing this my husband has discovered that there is now a piece of plastic missing from that. So the tail light cover will also have to be replaced now! Welland Toyota I am very disappointed in the way you have taken care of my daughter!! Just because she has purchased a pre-owned vehicle doesn't mean she isn't a valuable customer. She paid a lot of money for her vehicle despite the issues it has. Your salesman said you pride yourself on customer safety and satisfaction but that sure hasn't been the case for my daughter!! She will be looking to replace her vehicle in a few years, and I can guarantee you she will be looking elsewhere. Ian, the gentleman from the finance department, has been the only one to help my daughter throughout this whole ordeal, but that has left me feeling like Welland Toyota is only interested in getting their money.

Purchased my 2021 Highlander from Welland Toyota on 12th June, 2021. Showroom is well maintained and they follow all protocols for COVID 19. I tried this dealership based on their Google reviews and I am happy I did that. Icing on the cake was meeting with Travis Burger, Travis is professional, courteous and with excellent listening skills. He provided us enough time to make decision without pushing like other sales people I have delt in past. Travis worked hard to get us the deal I was looking for. Well it was a different experience purchasing my fourth Toyota Sienna from Welland Toyota recently with the COVID-19 restrictions and lock down. Everything went pretty smoothly and they accommodated me for pickup of my beautiful new Sienna. Love the new design of it. I find there could be more pockets on the back of the seats as the middle seat doesn’t have pockets behind them....that’s a shame. I had two glove compartments on my 2018 which was great and this one has one which is smaller. Looking forward to putting some miles on this 2021 Sienna. Thanks Welland Toyota!

On November 2021 my wife and I were planning to get a car and we visitied a couple of places for help.
