And the way Shadow Auto took their car apart and didn't put it back together. As if they were the border patrol. Destroying their vehicle warranty. Saw a vehicle I liked, inquired through the website, didn’t get a reply for a few days but I decided to go and see vehicle anyway. Was told by sales guy that it was sold. Friendly and helpful enough sounding, but wondered why in 2020 email wasn’t returned during the middle of the week. A few more days passed and I got an email back about the vehicle, which now somehow was still available? And I could come see it. I don’t know which was lying, or what the confusion was, but my reply to the email I received a week later about the vehicle for sure being there and available went unanswered.

I was interested in a 2012 chevy Cruze from this company about 2 months ago. After making a deposit on the car and told it would be ready 3 days later, shadow auto did not have the ownership. They had purchased the car from an auction and hadn't received the ownership as yet. How can you sell a car you don't own? Ok next dilemma. They offer a 5% student discount, after I provided numerous proof included a stamped letter of enrollment that I am a Niagara college student I was treated like a criminal and asked to provide even more proof. I was willing to pay these people almost 8000k in CASH and they were acting like I needed to beg for 400 buks off that THEY OFFER!!! The receptionist was rude.The finance manager lacked the basic professionalism to call clients back in a timely manner. If you like being treated with respect SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

I am super happy and excited to be driving my new 09 Corolla.... Shadow will work with you to get you off and driving in a hurry. Well adding to my earlier post the sold me a car with issues and im having a hell of a time to have them work with me to fix it. The old man is plain rude and told me he is not fixing anything and he does not want to deal with me to drop off the car lol after i just paid 1500 ill be right in that old boy. Kurt is not willing to work with you. Its his way or the highway. I got a bad safety for my car from Bosch and kurt insists i get my timing chain done by them. Who in there right sain mind wants to go to a mechanic that just gave the dealer a hot safety for my car. So i have to change timing chain alone $1200+. I bought the car for work and still cant work. Im so disappointed. As long as they get paid its seems they dont give a shite about their customers or just single Aboriginal women like myself. Since they lease to ANYONE spend the money yo have YOUR mechanic to check out the vehicle and dont gwt caught in their trap like myself. We learn from our mistakes. #shadowauto is my mistake

I found my car 2015 Blue Nissan Rouge SV in Kijiji website. As they mentioned, they gave us chance to check the car and do test drive freely. So absolutely no pressure. No stories were told to sell the car as many dealers do. I gave the insurance at the time of delivery. Ms.Sarah was flexible and got the license plate by the time of Bank paper work done. She does a wonderful job to get better interest rate and simple paper work. Absolutely, No pressure to select the options available. Issues: Car was not cleaned properly. Expected a detail clean interior. On considering their service, I compromised regarding the cleaning. Recommended to improve in this. Unlike my past bitter experience, the car purchase was so easy. Thanks to Claude, Sarah and Shadowauto team. Definitely I'll suggest my friends to visit once Shadow Auto when they want to buy car. See you soon.

He searched the Shadow site and messaged regarding a truck he wished to view. Even though it was a Sunday, Salesman J.P. Roy replied to his message and an appointment was booked for Monday. I recently lost my husband...Nov 27th...just before Christmas. It was very devastating. I was put into a situation where I needed to find a vehicle for myself ASAP. I have never in my life purchased a vehicle on my own. I tried first at a reputable local dealership that have a huge selection of vehicles but I was told that I have what is called "thin" credit so getting a loan would be extremely difficult. I went online and found an AD for Shadow Auto in Welland...they stated that even with bad credit or no credit at all...they could help. Well I gave them a call...explained my situation and was told to come in and give them a chance to help. I went in and immediately I felt like they (Shadow Auto) were going to do everything they could to get me in a car. I met with Umi their salesman and told him my list of want's & needs.....Umi showed me several vehicles and answered all my questions...I felt he was listening...even when I asked if a particular car I was looking at(and purchased in the end) had a big trunk...well Umi opened the trunk and jumped in...LOLOL...first time I've seen a salesman do that! Umi was patient and listened, even when I changed my mind on what I was going to purchase he said "no problem" lets find something that is better for you. Nancy in the finance Department worked her magic...not only did she get me approved she also got me a great interest rate!! I was in a car within a few days!! I was treated like family and they made this a very effortless purchase! I would highly recommend Shadow Auto to anyone looking for personable and quality customer service!! Kurt and his wife are very personable and nice...ALMOST TOO NICE. The first car I bought was at a good price I was happy with it. I paid $1000 extra for engine insurance or whatever it was. What happens? My engine blew. So the nice people they are...instead of fixing my engine they offered me a new lease with no down payment. I was desperate so I took the offer and got a 2008 nissan altima for 350 a month with close to 300k on it. While driving home with it the first time it broke down in the winter with me and my infant in it. (clearly the safety was not legit) After 30 mins his shady back yard mechanic came and followed me to their shop and I sat for an hour in the cold shop qith my baby while he fixed it. (other reviews are right the guy is so rude) Drove it for about 4 months and something went wrong and I had it. Called and told them to get it out of my driveway and canceled payments with my bank. Don't say you don't remember me or come back at me with anything. I paid every month on time!!! Never missed a payment and was easy to gwt along with.

Right before Christmas, my Chevy Cobalt died. We looked online at different dealerships and car lots in the area, but we kept coming back to Shadow Auto. In this time of Covid (and winter), we decided to shop online, and pick out a few cars that we wanted to test drive, rather than wander aimlessly and drive from car lot to car lot. Their website provides a great deal of info on their inventory, including pictures, car fax reports, mileage etc. We found a car at Shadow that we wanted to test drive and texted the phone number listed on their website. It was a Sunday (closed) and we were not expecting a response but JP got back to us that day to arrange a test drive for Monday. Unfortunately, the car sold before we could see it, but JP showed us some comparable vehicles in their inventory. He is a great salesman. JP is very courteous, friendly, and attentive, and he found us a car that met our requirements. We purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, complete with back up camera, heated steering wheel and seats, and a bonus remote start! Super thrilled!! As a double added bonus, the owner threw in a free undercoating for Christmas!! With all that said, we also want to say that everyone we came into contact with were super nice and friendly!! Thank you to JP for the sales help, Nancy for all your help with the purchase and the extended warranty and Kurt for the undercoating! We are very satisfied. You have a great team!! My car broke down, and i brought it to a garage and they let me know it was about to be really expensive fix, to even look at it(2006 audi a4) it would be 1000$+, so i thought alright its time i get a newer car that i wont need the shop as often and i can put my money towards that instead of at the shop trying to get it fixed. I stopped by Shadow auto and immideatly was greeted very friendly, he sat me down after i told him my issue and asked me okay what kind of vehichle i wanted and helped me pick out the make of a cool vehichle that matched my desription of a "sick car" which was a mustang... afterwards i let them know the pricing of my repair for my vehicle and they recommended me to another mechanic about 18 kms away, so i tried them towed my car over there and the next day the guy at the shop called me and said your car is ready for pickup 250$, i was in shock and not excpecting that because the previous garagae told me 1000$+ just to even look at it, when they recommended it they said that the guy that works there is down to earth honest and not there for your money but there to help, and yes that was true and I also got the same vibes from the people at shadow auto, i didint end up getting a car there and being a worker for in customer service wow i was impressed by their customer service and it made me feel at ease cause these guys are doing their job right //will make sure you get whats right for you. there really there for you and i have already recommended friends locally to go there and would not hesitate to recommend/shop at shadow auto Great job guys

Went to check out shadows yellow Nissan Juke we saw ..Tyler was nice enough to wait for us to arrive...checked out the car but unsure of the standard transmission...put a $300 deposit down on the car with the condition to decide by Friday if we changed our mind..we got our deposit back..thats fine but it was held back for over a week on her visa..but we spoke to his Uncle at the dealership then texted Tyler a few times to ask him to let us know if there was a Veloster automatic because thats the car she really prefers..but Tyler didnt communicate period so that concludes our trust in the dealership in the future.Things dont always work out in your favour every time Tyler and just because you may have felt you were messed around does not mean the customer wouldnt have been interested in anything else from your efforts..people have a choice and a right to change their mind...afterall its not a steak dinner we are buying ...its a car and its a lot of money to put out if you feel youre going to be disappointed in the end.
