Ralph's is the place to go, I am disabled and was dealing with sound advice who came and looked at my car and quoted what the cost would be when I went and called to book the appointment they doubled there price and when I said no hung up on me. Not at Ralph's they took the time looked over my car and cot everything in half. I called all the places in town. Go to Ralph's don't make the same time long journey I made. They are incredible trust these reviews. Thank you guys at Ralph's if I could drive around with your logo on my car I would with pride!

I've dealt with Ralph's Radio on three occasions now. First time was to get stereo inputs routed and amp mounted properly, second time was for a new stereo to be installed, and most recently for new speakers to be installed. On every occasion the customer and technical service has been excellent. I've been consistently happy with the end product, and impressed with the honest advice and great value. For my most recent visit, I wanted to get new speakers put in as I had been noticing muddy sound quality. Justin gave me a good review of some replacement options and I was ready for installation. After I dropped my car off for the install, they notified me that my current speakers were aftermarket and 2 tiers higher than the new ones I had ordered. They ran full diagnostics and found no faults anywhere. After some discussion we concluded that the poor sound quality was from bluetooth playback - I was unaware that would diminish quality. We decided to cancel the installation and I was surprised when they offered to not bill me for the diagnostics. I switched to wired playback and my speakers sound great again. These guys saved me a ton of money and headache with their diligence, product knowledge and honesty. I have 100% confidence in them and will be back for anything else car audio related.

Recently I just bought a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE that is fantastic in almost every way although the stereo and speakers aren't anything to write home about. That changed yesterday when Cam and Justin installed new speakers and a power amp with sound dampening material. The boys do excellent work and the sound of the new system is phenomenal. I'd give Ralph's Radio 6 stars if I could! Justin and the guys are amazing! Very helpful and so accommodating. I called in for an appointment with an intermittent speaker issue. However on the day of the appointment, the issue had (mysteriously) corrected itself. The guys were happy that the speaker was "fixed" but invited me back for a drop-in visit if the issue came back. Low and behold, the speaker stopped working again the very next day. I called in and they had me inside the shop, with door panel off within 15 minutes. Problem was identified, speakers were replaced, and I was driving off 45 min's later with a great sounding stereo! Highly recommend Ralphs for all your audio needs! I'll def be referring these guys to all my friends and associates!

Made the effort to visit Ralph's Radio store front to buy a stereo navigation unit, drove downtown, paid 2 dollars for the meter for 48 min....then entered the store...there was a sales rep in the front (looked like he was responsible for the phones) and someone sitting in an office in the back. I waited for five minutes before a third sales rep popped in and said he would be a minute....13 minutes later still no sign...well if it was packed with people I could have understood....but I was the only customer in their display room...needless to say I will not return to this store, nor do I recommend anyone else...the customer service is the worst I have experienced and I will go spend my $2000 budget somewhere else....I let the phone guy know I was disappointed and would be posting a review...20 minutes with no customers in the display area and not one of the three Ralph's employees wanted to talk to me and provide any info....painful that I wasted my time...I am thankful that I learned of the status of the customer service up front...imagine if I had bought something and had a problem......eyes wide open...I will not provide my business to this store and would recommend anyone think twice before supporting a store that does not consider customers or service a priority!

Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I bought my own equipment by consulting Tyler and Cam at Ralph's Radio. They helped me install a sub-woofer and amplifier thereby improving the performance of my factory sound system. I bought a sub-woofer first. They tested it for me at their facility and recommended the correct amplifier for the same. They were extremely patient with me and once I had my equipment in place, they scheduled me in for an installation appointment. Throughout the whole process, I felt like a valued customer and appreciated how they went above and beyond in order to work around my needs and budget. I intend to use their expertise in the near future for certain audio enhancements I have planned for my car. I highly recommend their services for anyone who is in the market for car-audio equipment and or installation. If you make Ralph's your first choice, rest assured that you will not regret your decision or experience any sort of buyers remorse thereafter. Everyone else in this industry seems to have forgotten about basic customer service and are busy finding ways and means to defraud customers hard earned money. Keep up the good work guys. I went in to upgrade my car stereo. Cam picked out the perfect (not most expensive) unit for my car and proceeded to install it. My car had a glitch which Cam tried to work out but it came down to me having to buy new speakers so I decided not to go ahead with it. I wasn't charged a cent for the hours Cam put into this. He was genuinely disappointed for me so he went ahead and did some research. He called me later that day and said he found a $20. solution. I went in the next day and he installed the unit in no time at all. My stereo is amazing but more than that, I'm so touched that Cam went the extra mile. He and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful. It is the place to go.

Went to ralphs and bought a stereo had them install,my bill was at least 1500$,was very happy to get my new stereo.Deove home and noticed my back speakers were not working,I have a 2005 Audi a4....I phoned them to see what was up,they said it would be another 600$to trouble shoot and install another amp.thing is when I picked up the car they did not tell me any thing about the back speaker.I spent alot at their shop and they did not even tell me the back speakers were not working.Was very disappointed to hear that it would be another 600 to get them working,I thought 1600 would be enough to get a nice stereo with back speakers working. for the price I paid they should have at least trouble shoot the back speakers don't you think ?and to not even tell me about the back speakers not being hooked up.was not impressed.

David spent many hours over the phone helping family and I update to new devices. The instore experience and help from both David and Justin was above and beyond! Very helpful in the store, however when it came to the installation, it was a very poor job. i left the shop, did not get a half block and the left front speaker cut out. I went back and let the young guy know what happened. His attitude was, "Well it worked when it left here". He was unwilling to do anything about it. I could tell by the look on his face that he knew he did something wrong but was just trying to get rid of me. Two days later at work, I pulled the front speaker covers only to find that the wrong size terminal connectors were used. I also pulled the carpet to check the amplifier install and it was very low end, improper and loose ground connection that was done by drilling a drywall screw directly into the floor of the truck. I had to re-run most of the wiring myself and re-install. Long story short, when I bought my next stereo, I did not go back to Ralph's, the install experience was not good. I would have given it a higher rating because of the store guys, but the installation tech brought the score way down.

I have had a handful of cellphones since getting the "LG Chocolate" as my first in 2007. Throughout my "Cellphone Plan-Carrier Span," I have been with Telus. Not every experience I have had over the past 10 years with Telus has been fantastic. . . however, getting a new phone has challenges. We know the factors that come along with getting that upgrade we have waited two years for. Therefore, when that time has come and you are keen and excited to upgrade your existing device with something new, I encourage you to go to Ralph's Radio downtown Victoria. I experienced phenomenal customer service throughout the entire purchasing process. Also, I don't use the word "phenomenal" loosely. Lindsay was professional, reliable, quick to respond and update me, accordingly. I felt as though this was the smoothest "phone transition" I have ever had. In addition, I purchased a separate phone for my mum and set her up on my plan. I was impressed that Ralph's was willing to ship her phone (to another province) and it be received the next day. I would highly recommend Ralph's for any of your smartphone and audio related needs!

I had a head unit installed last year. While I’ve done this type of work myself in the past, everything is so complex now with making steering wheel buttons work, integrating other vehicle functions and even getting the damn thing in there via custom dash kit….I’m really glad I had these guys do the work. Everything in my vehicle works exactly as it did before I brought it in. They really exceeded my expectations. Yes, it was expensive, but I would pay it again to not have the hassle of trying to figure out these incredibly complex systems by myself and likely screwing it up. Highly recommend.

Now my car sounds awesome and he saved me a few hundred dollars by fixing an issue with my subs that stopped them from working, when he could have sold me new subs.
