Me and my boyfriend bought a car from these people. Initially we were supposed to pick it up late April, but the girl we were dealing with said if we could come up with half of the initial payment, we could pick it up the first Thursday of the month. So we did. While this is my boyfriend and I's first car purchase, we decided to be more than thorough. We didn't want to get screwed over so early in the deal. We talked to the car sales person and we agreed that our first payment would be coming out on a Thursday. I even confirmed the ENTIRE DATE (months, day of the week, day of the month) to insure that there would be NO CONFUSION. I had it so the payments would come out on my pay day. Well turns out my first car payment came out 2 days BEFORE the agreed date. Needless to say there was money in my account so it bounced. Wasn't impressed. The girl we were dealing with was very patient and didn't beat around the bush with us, however the lack of honesty made it so we would not be purchasing another car from there.

I agree 100%. We bought a car and the tires passed the safety check and I went back more then once and they laughed at my face then pretended they do it but it's not a complete mechanical. Also had a noise in the car they send me to their repair shop they told me everything is ok. I had the car about 1 year and a half and now have problems at the front end of the car but they won't admit they're wrong. There liars and scams. We brought tires for the exchange when we brought our car in they told us they would give us money for those tires brand new never got a cent. They told us they would pay difference in payments for the purchase of our vehicle and we're still receiving bills from a company that we still owe them money so nothing was settled. Please do not give them business. All they do is make promises never kept.

Absolutely terrible. They delete honest reviews about them on their Facebook page then continue to block us from further commenting. Sold my cousin a car that needed to be started with vise grips. The original paperwork didn’t go through, but instead of calling her in to come sign a new contract, knowing she had expressively said she no longer was interested; they proceeded with the new paper work to be filled and finished without her consent/knowledge, because legally they can. Buyer beware. Snake tongued salesmen.

Scummy, and try to scam every penny. Were told we were going to get a new battery, and car would be cleaned when picked up at purchase. Car was dirty, battery wasn't replaced, and all I mean all my fluids were below minimum and had to fight with the guys for them to get them filled. Tried saying the fluids were supposed to be below min line.

Drove up to Sudbury from Toronto to take a look at a Ford Explorer To a dealership called "NEED A CAR" a sub dealer of Toronto Auto Group. Spoke to John Collins a few days before and was told he'd send me details about the car (Car proof and invoice of how much everything will be)... I never received any email. He suggested we buy it and he will deliver it to us. That sounded great to us but we decided to still check out the car before we bought it and drove up to Sudbury. When we arrived we saw the car. It was as the pictures described but had a lot of rust under doors, hood, trunk. Torn leather on door panel. We were told its in superb condition, so thank goodness we didn't agree to buy it before seeing it. John said he just got the car and had no time to look properly at it (lie). I took out a "Used Vehicle Report" a few days before and on there it showed that they had owned the car for a month. Since we still liked the car but were't sure about the rust and door panel issue, John suggested that if he fixes all the rust and the door panel, would we take it? We agreed and put it in the contract. He would deliver the car to us when the safety and all the work was done. I also asked him for receipts of work done before as he mentioned doing some work on the car but I was never provided with anything. I waited a few days for the work to be done and keeps asking (calling) John for receipts but he just kept saying he'll sent them. Long story short... the car was delivered to our place. I was not home but my wife was. The rust was fixed extremely poorly... basically John must of done it himself. Same with the rip in the door panel - it was just super glued. I contacted John to ask for the receipts and always he just rushed to finish talking to me and always says he'll send it. I never received any receipts from work done - I get why, because no professional did the work and there were no receipts. All in all, my wife and I are very disappointed with our experience. We heard nothing but lies from John from day one. Even during the signing of the paperwork it was all rushed so not to see the fine print. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR TIME AND READ EVERYTHING. He made me initial on spots that were not even filled out SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT. It is going to cost me thousands of dollars now to get the rust fixed that he butchered. I'd STRONGLY advise to stay clear and far from TORONTO AUTO GRUOUP SUDBURY and if you must purchase from them make sure you take you sweet time and don't agree to anything until the work is done and there are receipts for the work and even then call the place where the work was done to double check. Car wasn't cleaned, said it would be ready on monday and only got it on the friday. Kept telling me it would be ready the next but they would never call me back back even though they said they would. Would negociate and wouldn't throw in a 2nd key set with the car (value of 6000 for a 2003). For all the inconvenient, i asked to have a full tank of gas and they accepted it. Next day they brought the car with half a tank withouy having the courtesy to tell me they weren't going to fill it as promised. They also said they would find me winter tires and i had to remind them multiple times that i was still waiting for some information. Still waiting and it been 2 months lol I would never go back there with that kind of customer service.

ONE WORD... RUN! Worst dealership to deal with, very rude and dishonest people. Kept giving us the run around about when the vehicle was going to be ready was supposed to be ready on a Monday and kept telling us there were these different problems everyday. Final straw was they called us on Wednesday evening to say the car was still not ready and that it had ABS and Traction Control lights on the dash that were still on but the safety had already been done on it some how seem kinda sketchy or what??... To top it all off they tried to tack on an extra 500$ on the bill of sale with out telling us until we noticed and got it corrected, Then had to pay another 700 dollar safety fee for a car that was being sold certified. I would not recommend this night mare of a dealership, they talk about customers credit scores and how they have bad credit behind there back while new customers are in the office that's breach of confidentiality right there. They sit at there desks smoking a E Pen while customers are in the office so much more to say about this sketchy dealership. The big guy JOHN is not afraid to tell people off and hang up in your face so look out he is VERY rude. Yes they did give us a rental car after numerious calls that shouldnt of had to be made by us the customer, also the rental car didn't come with an ownership or any paper work what so ever. The car shouldn't of been on the road, front end is ready to fall out struts ready to go through the trunk. To many red flags thankfully got our deposit back and ran as fast as we could. I would rate -5 stars if I could.

I feel all there vehicles are bought from the auctions. After my vehicle was purchased the motor blew two weeks after. It went to the shop then came back six months later with a preowned motor. Then the transmission later blew two weeks later. They then offered another vehicle and added money from the previous vehicle for its deficiency which doesn't make since, we had the vehicle in our possession less then a month. I had the worst experience here and had to pay my own rental car when there vehicle failed after buying it. If your looking for a good quality vehicle I suggest you buy from another dealer. I will never buy from here again.

My husband and I are spending almost $30, 000 on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee that we began financing from Need A Car Sudbury at the end of May/17. When we test drove the vehicle both the tires and windshield wipers were shot. When we went back to the lot to pick up the vehicle after the mechanical was completed, there was used tires on it that will last about another year and the windshield wipers were not changed. We only recieved 1 key and we requested a 2nd key and they stated that they only had 1 and they will call Dejardins in Toronto for the 2nd key. I called weekly and asked about the key and was told everytime that they couldn't get a hold of Dejardins as of yet. After the 3rd week of thier game playing I requested that they make a key for us as a key costs over $300 to be made. They told me that they will purchase a key for us at some place on Lorne St for the next day. The next day I drove to the key place on Lorne St. from Wahnapitae just to pick up a valet key. I called them and was upset that they wasted my gas for a key that will just lock and unlock my vehicle door. I mentioned that when leaving the lot on the day of purchase, my husband stated the mechanical should have never been passed with the windshield wipers and I told her that I had a very scary ride home from work a few nights prior as it was raining heavily. The women I was speaking with told me that I shouldn't be driving and my husband is not a certified mechanic and in other words said he doesn't know what he's talking about! Really? If it takes a certified mechanic to tell that her that windshield wipers are shot...who shouldn't be driving?? She also told me that new cars don't come with 2 keys anymore. I then called Laurention Chrysler to inquire and was informed the opposite. Some people need to get thier facts straight. I don't recommend purchasing a vehicle at Need A Car Sudbury to anyone...you're better off going to a car dealership!

My husband and I purchased a 2014 Ford F-150 through Need A Car last week and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience! My husband dealt with John on the phone and in person a few times before we made our decision to go and take a test drive. Coming from a small town we really value customer service and I can say that our entire experience with the staff there was exceptional. We went down for a test drive and were very happy with the entire experience. We dealt mainly with John, but Andre was also very helpful with taking us into the shop to be able to look over the entire car for ourselves. Once we made the decision to purchase, they pushed through all the paperwork very quickly for us and we were able to drive our car home that day! I had bought a 2013 and after a week noticed there was a problem with the car, some pulsing vibrations in the steering wheel. After a month when I had the car checked I was told I had a bad wheel bearing in the front. When I called John to explain this he offered to have the part covered as I only had the car for a month. No hassel or run around and they had my car fixed the next day. The dealership has been nothing but great to me I highly recommend them!
