Easy car drop-off process even after hours. There is an element of this review that brought this Enterprise from good service to great service. Between car shuffling, I misplaced my parking pass and we all know how arduous it can be to replace one, not to mention how costly. I called back FIVE days after returning the rental and they had held onto the pass in their lost and found, saving my derriere.

First time hiring Enterprise and I feel I was not informed with all details that customer had to know before declining the damage waiver they provide. Since I took the car with my own credit card insurance I wasn't informed about the DEDUCTIBLE amount of $500 for the trip . Also there are very poor signs in the building to reach P4 if you enter the building via Beecroft road. Due to this confusion I had a small accident in the curb while looking for P4 from P1. Now they have charged a $500 deductible which I wasn't aware before pickup. They just rush to sign the agreement during pickup. If there were enough signs on the building to guide for P4 this curb accident would not have happened. Still I should have been careful. But atleast knowing about deductible upfront should be the case . Very essential for every customer to know about before renting. Aside from this poor service , car rented was super clean and smooth to drive. No complaints on that front.

I can take responsibility for not calling to say I was going to be late for pickup (hence 2 star and not 1 star) - we were busy today getting over the time zone difference, wedding preparations, meeting the priest, etc. And yes, our reservation was at 12, and we arrived at 4 pm. But to get no call for a one week reservation when our credit card was already on file before our car was given away is unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. Thankfully we are resourceful with contacts, but we see no reason to use enterprise in the future if this is a company policy. We have travelled for business often, and never had this issue. I would recommend a policy change - at least a phone call every time - as it stands now it seems like either enterprise, or your location, is interested in the dollar in front of them rather than building the long term relationships and trust.

When I go there to pick up my car, they tell me I need to have my own insurance to rent a car if I'm under 25. The problem is why don't you tell me that when I pay the underage fee online. I'll never go there again.

Left some items in the car mistakenly; things I keep in every vehicle for emergencies etc. I was never told they had it until I realized and called. Took a week to even get back to me. I went in to get my items and they had everything but an expensive medkit I had put together with extensive support. Not sure how they managed to get EVERY but that, after they told me they were in need of a medic kit?

VERY IMPORTANT TO RENTAL REFERRED FROM INSURANCE . Make sure that you don’t get the insurance for the rental car itself , your insurance company should cover that . They will push it on you.

So I rent a lot of vehicles. And not ever have I seen such incompetence. The phone number on my account is old. Sure. But the foolish employees here who called to confirm my reservation action just assumed they were talking to me; Clearly forgetting a simple thing as ASKING FOR A NAME. After over 8 years of doing business with this location and with the Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand it is disappointing to know I will no longer be doing business due to the events that occurred today. Earlier this week I rented a vehicle from this location and I was dealing with the assistant manager at this location during the paperwork end of my rental. Typically this location is meticulous for keeping their vehicles clean based on my previous rentals however, the vehicle I picked up looked like it had never been cleaned inside or out. The on the inside the leather was all marked up, there was pen on the ceiling etc. The exterior was also a mess with both the body and the windows so dirty to the point I could hardly see out the windows when the sun was out. When the assistant manager signed the vehicle out to me he admitted the vehicle was a mess but vacuumed it a bit and felt it was still up to their standards to rent to me. Then came the walk around which he completed very quickly without looking at the vehicle in great detail. It was busy there so it must have been good enough for him to get me out of the way to help the next customer. Then comes today when I signed the vehicle back in. I am now being slammed with a $500+ repair charges for some minor scuffs on the vehicle body. These scuffs would have easily been hidden under the dirt and soap left on the vehicle from their poor last wash job never mind the dirt on the vehicle from the last person I rented it. Especially with the fact the vehicle was a silver car. It is a shame that the assistant manager stated to me he does not think they were there before and that more then likely he would have caught it when we signed it out and that it was possibly me that caused it.... very wishy-washy business dialog to have with a customer. The assistant manager even admitted to me they ate thousands of dollars in damage costs last month for some of their larger customers but isn't willing to eat the couple hundred dollars which will cost to fix these scuffs. This of course comes with the trade off he's loosing my business indefinitely, for something that he thinks maybe, but isn't sure, but might have been caused by me during the rental period. I have to say I am very disappointed with the way the whole rental was handled. There have been some great employees I have dealt with at this location over the years and I always looked forward to renting from this location even though it isn't the closest location to my house. It seems this new manager isn't operating on the same principles they have operated on for years which always made me think they had such high customer service standards for so many years. How mistaken I am for thinking that. Renters beware if you are looking to rent from this location. I'm sure there is a Budget, Avis or other car rental agency near you that will treat you like a paying customer should be.

I rented a car from Enterprise Belleville this week and the experience was very good. On pickup I was offered a free upgrade (which I accepted!). Chris, the manager, is efficient and thoughtful. It was a bonus (for me) to be offered a ride back home. Lou was the kind driver and he drove me to my door, but............. Along the way Lou stopped to assist a woman driver whose trailer had come loose from the hitch. Within minutes she was able to continue! I thank Lou for his ride, but also for serving in our armed forces (he's a veteran!) for decades. Thanks to Enterprise Belleville.

Unfortunately my need for a rental came from someone hitting my brand new truck! This location was awesome! They picked me up from the body shop I'm having my truck fixed at, the driver was very friendly. When I arrived Joel helped me and has extremely friendly and efficient, even carrying my son's car seat to the rental for me. While waiting for the vehicle to be cleaned, multiple employees checked with me as well as others waiting to see if we have been helped. When everyone was helped, I could hear them saying they would help their co-workers to clean the vehicles and get people on their way. After a long weekend I really appreciated how quickly they got me in and out. Amazing service.

This is the rental company that my office deals with, the location is close to my house and most importantly it's open on Sundays for a few hours so that I can get my vehicle and be on the road first thing Monday morning. The only complaint I have is the selection, most of the vehicles are imports. They tell me there are lots of domestic vehicles but I have never saw many on the lot. Plenty of Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and Kia. Unfortunately for me I am not a small guy, I do not fit well in these imports. The last Kia forte I drove I had the drivers seat way back and down and tilted to where I could still drive it somewhat comfortably and I still hit my head when I hit bumps in the road. These vehicles are not designed for people over 5' 8". With the chip shortages going on everyone is limited to what they can get. The staff is always friendly and do their best to take care of my needs. I'm usually in and out in under 10 minutes if there is no lineup from other unprepared customers. I like renting from this location as they all know me here since I've been renting every month for over a year. The manager Julia is awesome, we always have a chat when I come in to renew my monthly rental.

Highly disappointed with this enterprise location. Had booked this reservation over a couple weeks ago from out of province came out here for a concert and to visit family trip. I arrived to pick up my car the day of the reservation and no one was there at the desk. The people that worked in the hotel had not seen them. Called there phone number no answer right to voicemail cant even leave a message cause mailbox is full. The guy didn't show up til 30 min after pickup time unknowing of any one was even coming. Drop off was the same thing go to the drop off at my time and no one was here for me to drop it off with do a check over. I had to catch my flight so I just dropped my keys in the drop box took a bunch of the pictures of the car to show what it looked like when it was dropped off. Highly disappointed in the service here cant even get ahold of anyone to see about closing my file with them. I highly recommend finding an alternative company as I not to sure if I would get a my rental for next time.

The website is completely inaccurate. I'm 21, and went to the website to enter dates I would be renting a car, as well as the RENTERS age, and it filtered out certain vehicles, such as luxury and premium vehicles. However, it still showed vehicles like pickup trucks or SUVs. It let me make a reservation in the SUV class, and when I went to pickup an SUV (or similar), I was told that anyone under 25 can only rent up to a full-size sedan. Why let me reserve a vehicle AFTER I'VE ENTERED MY AGE, and then tell me the day of that I can't rent that. I know the website didn't just show all options because the unavailable options I was shown when my age was under 25 were different than when my age was over 25, as they out premium and luxury vehicles back in to be selected. While I'm not entirely surprised I wasn't able to rent, I know some places don't rent anything to people under 25, I will be using Turo (a MUCH superior rental company) from now on.

I rented a car from here over the Christmas holidays. I found (at the time of need due to our lovely Canadian winters) that there was no block heater in it. So during a cold snap the car wouldn’t start- as a result I had to cab to and from work as well as get a tow truck to boost the car... long story short Enterprise did a phenomenal job ensuring I was satisfied with service and reimbursed a significant amount of my rental to cover the costs of being stranded- great costumer service thorough out the entire rental. :)

Fabulous customer service!! Both employees that I worked with were compassionate and understanding in a difficult situation. At the St. John's airport where I went to pick up my car they were operating several rental companies from one counter. When changes were necessary to my renta, it caused me to pick up my car from the only other open rental counter. The Enterprise rental manager saw me waiting in line yet again. This line was much longer. The manager came and pulled me from the line taking care of my rental and offered me an even better deal than I was already getting!

I made a dent in my rental. Pointed it out...paid them my $500 deductable and rental fees then left. Thinking it was taken care of. Got a call from them a month later saying that I owed the taxes now.?? I paid the deductible everything above that is covered?? Told them no I paid the deductible and that's it....this was in Oct 2020...now end of Jan 2021 they pulled $356 off my credit card ???? What??? I have reported to my credit card company that this was NOT authorized....what do you guys have to say about this??? I've rented from Enterprise many many times and have never had an issue. Will not be renting from them again now that they are stealing off my credit card without authorization....????????... emailed this lady and got nothing put the run around. Haven't solved my issue with them taking money off my credit card without authorization.....stay away from this place they will rip you off..

Charged us $300.00 for a flat tire. If you get a flat tire with these scam artists fix it yourself for $30.00 and don't mention it. We were honest and as with most companies without morals, they concocted an excuse about the tire being "driven on", requiring full repair as if the rim had broken. It went flat, we pulled over. There was chalk on it from a recent repair, indicating a previous problem. Have a less expensive honeymoon, don't use Enterprise.

I had to arrange a rental via the Ford garage I was using as the work on my car overran. Enterprise picked me up from home and had the same model of car waiting for me that I usually drive. Service was quick and easy and the car was great. Drop off took a little time as it was a busy weekend but that didn't detract from an excellent experience.

Good people to talk to. But they don't always have the vehicle you booked. I booked a minivan (8 seater) had to walk away with a Yukon SUV. It was an unsatisfactory experience with the vehicle as all of us could not fit in comfortably. Yukon has a small back seat with very less leg space.

I didn't want the full payment to go on my credit card I only wanted the deposit on it and pay the actualrental on debit. The branch manager insisted it all had to go on my credit (giving a nonsensical excuse about the cars value). They lost 5 days of a rental and a customer. I know it's been a few years since I've rented from enterprise but if that's their new policy it's ridiculous and if it's that branch managers policy he should be demoted.

The vehicles they rent function. Expect a lecture from staff throughout the rental onboarding process. If you don't have the civil stamina for lectures from a customer service person, there are other car rental businesses that put the quality of customer service into the forefront of their interactions. For the "does the car work" level of service: 5 stars. For the "will you feel good about going to Enterprise but instead end up humiliated by someone delivering a service" level of service: 1 star.

I was in a car accident on Monday the 22nd at noon (not at fault & no injuries) and my insurance company made arrangements with enterprise on crown street, enterprise called me right away :) unfortunately they had no car available for that day (very understandable) but they booked me for the following day for pickup at 3:30 pm or if it was ready sooner Collin or Zach would call me right away. On 23rd I decided to call and confirm my car was ready instead of me walking there and waiting outside in the cold because of Covid restrictions then was told that they did not save a car for me even though I have the confirmation number/code and I’d have to wait until 24th at 4pm ???? , Very rude people with no answers or explanations , they didn’t try the other enterprise lots to see if they had any cars available or not :( and didn’t offer to give me a different class of car until my rental was ready basically they didn’t and don’t do anything to try and fix the situation they cased with this rental nightmare and of course we still have places to go and now I have to pay for cabs because I didn’t make arrangements due to having booked a rental car from enterprise unreal how companies treat people now a days. And that’s right after a car accident ????????????. February 24th , I finally got a vehicle and I’d like to thank Zach for the upgrade & his professional demeanour while handling this issue and I hope no else has to go through this. It’s sad I had to pay for 4 taxi’s when I had a rental booked because the company dropped my reserved rental without reason. At least I now have the rental and I thank you Zach for that.

Fantastic location, amazing staff members! They were very helpful and have great customer service skills, and assisted us in multiple visits. Vehicles are clean and well maintained. Tip - There are 2 entrances to the parking garage. Make sure when returning the car, you enter from the Park Holme Ave entrance and NOT the City Center entrance on Beecroft road. The former has well lit signs and direction arrows guiding you to P4.

We were on a cruise and our family was looking forward to exploring the island on our day in port. We made a reservation but an expected delivery of vehicles didn't come in so there weren't any cars available. Distressing news for sure. Alex, the branch manager there was deeply apologetic and offered to pay for an excursion that allowed us to move ahead with our plans. Knowing how expensive excursions were (the reason for the rental), I told him it'd be considerably more costly than the rental but he said that wouldn't be a problem and to go ahead and book it - which we did. While we didn't get reimbursed immediately, I can happily report that the funds arrived. I'm still a little shocked that a company would come through like that and cover the expense of our alternate plans. What a great group of people. Thank you, Alex, and thank you, Enterprise!

I've never reviewed a car rental company before and usually have tepid experiences with them but the Victoria, Vancouver Island Enterprise really was the most outstanding car rental business I've gone through. They pick up the phone, are genteel and polite, and they pick you up door to door from around downtown. On the way back from Tofino, we were running late to catch the Clipper ferry due to impassable roads and after calling ahead, they expedited our check out and zoomed us to the ferry. We arrived just on time! Thank you!!!!

Folks there are pleasant and professional, but what's this 1/2 tank of gas thing? Picked up a car to travel to Brandon for the day. First stop was a gas station (in the rain) , then fuel management all the way to Winnipeg with requisite calculation of how much gas to put in. Ridiculous. Oh yeah, if they say Toyota Yaris or equal on the phone, you may end up with a Mitsubishi Mirage. I didn't know anyone rented those city-only cars. The staff courteousness cannot make up for the 1/2 tank rule and the Mitsy. First time Entreprise "let me down".

By far the best rental experience I have had in this city. The guys who work here are quick, professional, and kind. I have tried other places in the city, even other Enterprise locations, but this is the only place that has never once tried to take advantage of me. I once showed up fifteen minutes after they closed, but they still let me get my rental, despite it meaning they had to stay late. The prices are very reasonable, location is accessible by transit, the vehicles are clean, and I have even been offered upgrade for little or no cost. They will also pick you up and drop you off if needed.

I am opting this location only because others are closed. Take pictures of the car before you rent just to be on the safe side. I was returning a car and it was found that the tail lights were not aligned and they made me raise a claim. That should be considered normal wear & tear as there are no extra scratches or dents which would be there if someone bumped it from behind while parked. There are other dents indicating the car was previously bumped from behind and since they confirmed that those are noted down I didn't pay attention to that side. My bad!

I am still dealing with fall-out from when I rented a car from Enterprise a year ago after a my car was in an accident. The car that I rented was not the greatest, but I was happy to at least have something for a while. When returning the car I was assured that the bill would be sent to the insurance company and I would not have to deal with any of it. But then six months later there were TWO charges on my credit card for the rental car cost. After spending a week playing phone tag with the manager, one of the charges was refunded but the other was left- this was because the insurance company never received the bill from them, so then insurance paid me back the bill amount. It didn't end there- four months later we saw another refund for the same amount from enterprise on my visa bill. We talked to a representative twice who assured us that refund was right and they would not touch our credit card again. Two months later I received a voicemail from enterprise, and even though I called back only five minutes later I never heard from that person again. I then received ANOTHER charge on my credit card for that amount. I have only seen disorganization and a lack of true information in all of these interactions and I will not be renting a car from enterprise again.

Easy pickup - We found our Sydney and Baddeck drive to be easy, directions from the Enterprise people was a Google map, but it worked fine. Our return was a little iffy, as we found construction had blocked the name of the street that we needed to turn onto to go back to the Enterprise office. So... we found the landfill and took a tour around it to get back to their office! Thank you for your pickup and delivery to our cruise ship!

Talking about unpleasant surprises...Please take a minute and read on, then decide for yourself if you're ever going to rent from Enterprise again. So I return the car and the manager inspects it for damage. He pulls out a plastic vent from the front bumper and asks me if I had an accident. I respond no and there is not a single scratch on the bumper. He checks the computer and finds out that this vehicle had a front bumper accident the week before, so that might had caused the loose vent. He talks me into paying $50.00 though, for "couple of clips" as he said to take care of the problem. Two days later he calls me and says that he hates to make this call but the accident (what accident?) is not related and I have to pay for a new bumper, total damage $950.00!!!!!!!!!! To make a long story short, after involving insurance, after failing to produce pictures to prove that they indeed changed the bumper, we had to take a loss of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS and a higher insurance premium for something that we are not responsible! You see all contracts are made to their benefit, so my advise is, the minute you suspect something is wrong, don't sign anything and call the police but above all avoid ENTERPRISE.It looks like this is common practice on their part. Check reviews for their Kingsway location!

Rented a car here, brought my own GPS system in the car to travel down to Toronto; returned the car but accidentally left the GPS system in the car on the passenger side/console area; did not notice until I unpacked my belongings at home, around 730 PM. I used the car to drive to Toronto to visit family, car remained in an apartment parking garage and drove alone with the GPS there and back. I do not own a pet nor have blonde hair. An employee admitted to using the car and when I was invited to look at the car, the car looked worse off than when I left it. It had sand in the car, all over the passenger side, as well as the driver side with blonde-like hair on the ground. Pet hair all over; I do not own a pet and I did not sit in the back seat. At check-in, one of the employees who said there was a $300 authorization and when I asked why (just a simple question), said, "What? You don't have enough money on your card?" I didn't know it was their normal practice to ask such discriminatory questions to single traveling women. Horrible check in service as even when I did check in on my phone and confirmed my email/phone the day before, the manager alleged she tried to phone me but had my working email at all times (and even though I confirmed my phone with their app)

$500 deposit collected to cover the damage deductible by this branch was never applied to the damage claim (which I paid in full to the corporate collections agency). This took 7 months to straighten out as the branch and the collections agency BOTH claimed that the other didn't collect any money from me.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices, however not fully transparent. Phoned in about renting a vehicle and got a great quote of about 35 a day. Was also told they could get me a Nissan as I wanted to try the vehicle. So I reserved myself a spot. The day I show up in person however they mention insurance is about 30 dollars doubling the price. Which still is reasonable but an unexpected surprise. Additionally, they did not provide me with a Nissan but a Chevrolet. The establishment itself alongside its parking lot is a little dirtier than I would like. An update on customer policies and the building would help this place.

I rented a car for one day from this place on Saturday and returned the car the next day. They close on Sunday, so I returned the car and put the key in the deposit box. The next day, I get a call from the office saying that there is a damage on the car. I am 100% sure that I didn't make any damage to the car but I have no proof. I told them that I will come in to see how big the damage is and they told me that they already rented out the car to somebody else for a week! So, I again asked them to call me back when the car is returned so that I can see the damage before it's sent to the shop for fix. Didn't get a call back. Instead, they sent the car to the shop without telling me beforehand and billed me for $500.00. I don't understand how this kind of thing can happen. I made a mistake by not properly checking the car condition when I rented the car and signing the contract. The agent of course was not careful either and didn't inspect the car firmly when renting it out. This place is a piece of crap. I will never go back to this place and will do anything to stop people from renting car from Enterprise.

I always dread renting a vehicle. Something almost always goes wrong - the car I wanted didn't get returned, or some other such excuse. This was not my experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Care last week however. Chris at the Enterprise location in Main Street, Stouffville was amazing, informative and provided superior customer service. In a time when it's easier to ignore the small things, Chris took the time to even walk me through the 'cool technology' that was available in my rental. The car was serviced and clean and worked well for the entire trip. I will definitely rent from them again.

The staff are very friendly and helped me to choose a great car, a Nissan Versa. I had the same car for 3 weeks and 4 days. I was not informed that the 4 days will be more expensive than the weekly rate nor was this information given at the time of booking. That is a minor matter which can be rectified in the future. I joined enterprise plus and am in the process of booking my next rental on enterprise.

We rent from Enterprise often, and I have excellent insurance on my own car, so I generally don't buy the offered insurance. I've never had any problem. Until this time, when a stone hit the windshield and cracked it. Everyone from the branch to the claims department were courteous, fast, efficient and made the situation as painless as possible so I could continue on my holidays with little stress. I can't thank them enough, and will never rent from anyone else, ever.

Professional, Superb Customer Service! I was floored when I went to this Enterprise Rent-A-Car and saw the operation they have there. Several people full-time washing cars, customer service reps and management (particularly Shahab) that are knowledgeable and helpful. When I dropped off the rental this morning I had the UBER app ready to call for a ride and they offered me a ride to work! I'll definitely go there again and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. Prices were competitive - I used my Costco membership for an even better price. Hard to beat this rental car agency!

Arranged a car online pick up in Vancouver drop off at Victoria international. Was told there was no drop off at airport only downtown. Just paid $55 for a cab to see an Enterprise rental free shuttle to onsite office at airport. I am now at the airport 3 hours early and out $55 due to their incompetence.

After renting from Enterprise in Kitchener and being unable to return the car and get a ride back (see my rant by searching for the King street location) I called the Waterloo location. Not only were they open on a Saturday afternoon (gasp!) but Kevin the assistant manager apologized for the crappy treatment that I received at the Kitchener location (which told me to take a cab home) - he has no reason to apologize for the Kitchener treatment as employees do not move store to store. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the driver to arrive and then was whisked away to my destination. Would I deal with THIS Enterprise again? Yes I would.

Really great service at Vernon's Enterprise location. Very helpful young man who is obviously good at his job. Super happy with the vehicle I rented (Chrysler 300 S). I was picked up on the day I required a vehicle, and then dropped off at the auto body shop as part of the rental. This is VERY convenient. Service was ok, not great, shuttle pickup art the airport did take about 25 minutes however. Most likely would not use again though. Much easier to rent from the airport and pay a little extra

Service was very lack luster, but that's what I would expect from a place that was very busy on a Sunday, but only had one woman working the counter. When I dropped off the car same lady was the only one doing work out of 5-6 men standing around the office, not what I see when I see a good team working together. She wasnt rude, but her being busy meant she rushed through my check in, didn't ask which insurance I wanted and just gave me the expensive one, also I had to ask about prepurchasing gas from them at the lower rate. She also took a call while I was waiting for her go over details, it was another enterprise branch, instead of putting them on hold or calling them back and dealing with the customer at hand she told me to wait and walked out of the room. I don't mind waiting, but when it's my turn it's nice to feel like you're having it all gone through and not rushed into paying 2x the original price (her jacked insurance price and not offering me the lower insurance they offer). The car was fine, but I will rent elsewhere for better service.

Used to go to another Enterprise location in the city. One day only vehicle the other location had needed an oil change (i was going on a long drive) so they called up Ellice and told me to go there. Was a bit of a pain but only a 10 minute drive so was fine to do so. Got my car from Ellice and was on my way. Returned car a few days later and without me even asking gave me a discount for the original inconvenience. Really unexpected and haven't forgot that. Have rented from Ellice location ever since - lots of vehicles and always get vehicle class I rented (important when you need a fuel efficient vehicle). Always quick to get everything sorted and friendly staff.

I recently had to rent a car from Woodstock branch. I barely drove the Jeep at all and had the vehicle for 2 weeks with about 200kms total. I picked the Jeep up with just under half of a tank and returned it the exact same and received a bill from them for an additional 15L at $2.63 per L for $39.45 + $18.12 tax for a total of $57.57 for fuel I didn't owe for.

Tried a number of rental car companies and the Marine Drive location was “hands down”the most pleasant and professional operation to deal with.
