First time using U-Haul. I was very satisfied with the service in store. Friendly and helpful, answered all my questions. The only problem I had was with an e-mail sent to me requesting the truck be returned to the St Catharines site rather than the Welland site. The email stated. That any charges for extra mileage incurred for this would be waived. The associate working could find no record of that email and didn't seem to care for me showing the copy saved on my phone. Not a deal breaker, but that's the reason for the missing star. Again, I am satisfied with the service

I reserved a truck at this location. They moved the reservation to Beamsville at the last minute without notifying me, which messed up my plans for the day. I spoke with two people who were indifferent, which suggests this is business as usual.

I booked and asked for mobile pickup. Reached the location found the truck. When try to get the keys the code did not work called the 24 service number MJ did not answer the tried 6 times no answer left VM. It's start getting cold. Called the customer service NO help wort experience. I came all the way from Brampton to pick and as I had to pick something from here dropping it off at Brampton. No one help you worst location ever

Paid $150 for a pickup truck to drive 100km. Tank was at 3/4 and the contract I was given said 7/8. The person at the register didn’t seem too impressed to have a customer to help and the other person didn’t realize I was already being help and called me a woman because I was wearing a blue hat, go figure on that one. Just go to enterprise.

I get the idea this company is trying to kill its employees. This is an unfriendly neighborhood to be in and having systems that seem to never work does not help. Kind staff that have clearly been kneecapped by their "handlers". Not sure I would rent a unit here, simply because of the crime rate in nearby areas.

Update almost 1yr later: Literally no change. The alarms go off at all times of day and night and no one seems to care. Sometimes the alarm goes on for 5-10 minutes before being shut off. No idea why this alarm seems to go off 1 to 3+ times A DAY in the last week or so. Original review: I’m a resident immediately across from this location. The alarm for this building goes off AT LEAST once a week, any time of day or night and it’s loud. Literally just woke up because it was going off right now at 1am. No clue why it happens but when I call the #, I wait on hold and can’t get through to a rep to make an inquiry or complaint.. at 1am...? Highly fkin annoying.

The truck had 88000 miles, a bit high for my liking and to feel safe, especially during a real cold winter day with temps of -15 C. I've feared it wouldn't start or break down on the highway. It shook a lot. Tires looked newish but the miles very high. I don't think anything with more than 80-100k km should be on the road, especially NOT Diesel or trucks that are rented to carry weight. Scary to be honest!

Rental process was quick and easy , I was in and out in 15 mins . It was very convenient. Only problem I had was trying to book smaller size truck through online booking , it didn't allow me to book smaller size even they had 5+ trucks available on site .

Very rude unprofessional Rachel said elevators is a courtesy and does not have to work all the time. We should be thankful that they offer the elevator service. She should be promoted to wash the bathroom not deal with customers. Office smells like they don't take showers. Bathrooms never stops stinking. They don't look professional and don't value their customers.

Very stressful customer service, one of the employee called me three days before returning (date/time) truck and threating me over the phone that if I don't return truck now then I will face charges, scared me a lot since I was already under stressed to find a place in new unknown city (move from Calgary, AB to St. Catharines, ON) to unload truck. Beside that, the day of returning truck, I just requested for extra 1 hour and in reply it was terrible response I received from every single person even onsite leader shouting & yelling on me like I asked or said a bad word to made them that much angry to attack together on me. One of worst experience of my life, not recommended to others and need a lots of improvement.

Dirty storage. Probably one of the worst places I've stored my stuff. Bathroom smells all the way to the 2nd floor and elevator doesn't always work, although when I went to the office Rachel and MJ wasn't helpful at all by saying that it wasn't their responsibility to inform their clientele. Would definitely not recommend this establishment if you value your belongings. Should be closed down. Yuck. Go to the one off Bunting Rd, it's much cleaner.

The storage is completely infested with cockroaches and they do nothing to compensate or prevent that. Writing this review in the hopes of saving people from the disgusting mess that it is to pay hundreds of dollars for storage and not be able to take any of it out because it is crawling with cockroaches and so is the rest of the building.
