This by far is the worst of all Hertz locations.. As soon as you walk in, horrible customer service. They dont say hello. Employees like Barry L point to a sign and rattle off 19 reasons of why they wont rent to you. Do NOT use a place like Priceline for this place. They do not want to rent you the discounted rate, so they discurrage you from renting it. Worst of ALL locations.

The gentleman who helped me with my rental car was very nice, personable and was very thorough. not pushy either about getting extra insurance. One thing that would be nice though, is later hours of business or at least have a drop box to leave keys and car at site. Most people work until 5:00 or 5:30. Other than that, service and the car I had was very good.

Horrible experience with the first rental, customer service was the worst I ever had especially from a manager. Had a second reservation booked for months in advance was told just days before the pickup date that they are closing earlier the day of pickup regardless of the pickup time and we can move our reservation to another location at no charge or pick up earlier. Called to move to another location to find out that we in fact will be charged current rates not the rates from when we originally booked which is well over $100 more. Never again will I use hertz as they don't stand behind there contract. Worst treatment ever for customer service

Fast, friendly and easy transaction. 10/10 I recommend getting insurance with the vehicle, the side car was hit by a deer jumping at it and replacing the vehicle was 15 minutes or less and painless.

Horrible experience with the first time rental, customer service was the worst I ever had especially from a manager” his name is Berry Lingle . My reservation was for 9:00am because my car was going to be fix in the same location Gerber & Glass Collision and i wait 37 minutes to be attended he was the only person in the Location and also This guy Berry lingle give the worst attitude because the Debit Card i Had at the moment of the rental is not acceptable . Wish i understand the company Policy but the way he talks as manager is the Worssssssttttttttt . He dont even ask me to re-schedule the reservation or anything .... Hertz needs to contract Managers and representative with ethics , i left the place with my 2 kids in uber to resolve the problem with the rental , i call the insurance company and they was able to change the rental reservation with another company and i went to Enterprise was Helpful and quick .... i dont Recommend this place ... worst experience ever!!

Quick and easy. Friendly staff. Got the job done even when the computers are down. No surprise charges even though when I reserved on the app it forced me into the gas refill thing. They didnt charge me for that at checkout. Got a Rogue with under 5000 miles. Obviously new car smell. Small delay in which was not their fault and a speedy checkout. Car was there when I got there. Believe me some places try to wing it and even give your ride away. No nonsense. All good. Never had a good experience with any Enterprise location so go on and do yourself a favor. Hey, there's even a Travelers desk there if you need to insure your home or something.

Although, Hertz rental office space on E. Ridge Rd. is small. The associates are courteous, friendly, professional, and fair! Thumbs up to branch manager Barry Lingle. At a time in society when integrity has been misplaced, Hertz have obviously stayed steadfast with their integrity and customer service!

Horrible experience I rented a truck from them the location on ridge road rochester ny..... i was horrified to find out that they rented me a roach invested car.. they never cleaned it before renting it out I took lots of pictures and will be complaining to the better business bureau...they are unprofessional at the highest and they also over charged me twice

I had a car rented through them because my car was damaged by someone. While I had the car I hit a pot hole in the city of Rochester, The whole tire popped. I called Hertz customer service and they told me I would be able to get a new rental the next day. 2 Months later I'm getting a call from them saying I owe them $85 for replacement of the tire. First of all it wasn't my fault, second of all no one told me there was a charge for the tire when I reported the damage. So why am I being charged 2 months later ? The man on customer service was very "pushy" to get money out of me. Didn't explain anything to me and wasn't very helpful ! They don't have very good customer service representatives to leave out the part that I would be charged for the tire popping. Why wasn't I informed ahead of time ? Will not be renting a car from here EVER again ! Never getting my business !!!!!

I have rented with Hertz 3 times now at the same location and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is pleasant, informative and strive to get me going in a short amount of time. I am always pleased with the rate and I have not had a problem with the cars I've had. I plan to rent 2 more times this summer. The option to rent works for my family when they visit over the summer. I just got a ride to this location for an 8am rental that I booked weeks ago. When I walked in the door I was told that there were no cars available and they would call me when a car became available. How long? "I wish I could tell you." This is completely unacceptable. I had a pickup for that date and time because I have places to be and I don't have time to be waiting for your call of when I can leave. You have one job, Hertz. So disappointed.

Our original vehicle needed service so we had to switch vehicles halfway through our trip back from Kansas City. We needed to detour roughly 30 min each way out of the way plus wait time trying to get this fixed. It was a minor inconvenience but the staff was friendly. Even though we lost about 3 hours with the switch we were still happy with Hertz's service. When I brought the vehicle back the needle was barely off of full (I filled up 15 miles out) so the lady said I needed to fill it up or she'd charge $10/gal. I went and put $2.50 in fuel into the car then came back which wasted more time. Then she adds 2 hours onto my rental because I picked the car up at 1:54pm on Friday and returned it at 3:45 on Monday...even though I've been inconvenienced over 3 hours by Hertz! Never again will I rent from Hertz, I had a great experience until this woman in Irondequoit with an attitude wanted to nickel and dime me. She said people have been waiting for me to return my car because they need it; I left with a cargo van and returned with an Altima...either the guy waiting for the van is going to be really inconvenienced or this lady knew that we had to switch vehicles which delayed us but didn't care. Very deceptive, not a place I will do business again. If I treated my customers like she treated me, I wouldn't have any customers left.

Nice outside seating space, beautiful view, decent food but we waited over an hour for dinner- not great. But wait staff was pleasant and doing their best given the circumstances.
