As soon as my arrival , the serviceman took the regular information and said that the service would be started immediately. 30 minutes later I received the service sheet and I have been asked if I wanted to have the vehicule washed. After the oil and filter change I had a question about a paint issue and was immediately taken to the body shop to have it looked at. They tried to fix the problem but it will require further work. There was no charge for this. i will definitely go back for all my servicing when required.

On my recent visit, I reported an issue resulting from my February service on my brake pads. Second time. This time the it was the "adjusted brake pad clip was dragging on the rotor'. It was not installed properly. The first time brake fluid was leaking out from LR Caliper bleeder screw due to corrosion. The mechanic working on the car both times was either careless or did not do the job properly. Two visits, six plus hours of inconvenience due to poor workmanship. Better follow-up by their supervisor is required. On the plus side, the problems were identified and fixed promptly.

You have to beg to buy a car even though you are a buyer, zero out of zero recommendation. Used car manager doesn’t take pride of the quality of the work he offers. My wife and I had the pleasure of dealing with Frank Daoud at Surgenor Ottawa yesterday. His diligence and experience helped us find exactly what we were looking for right away. My wife and I could not be happier with our new van which has more than enough room for our newest addition. The process was pain free, efficient and exactly as it should be. My only noticeable issue was that they offered me a good deal less than other dealerships were offering for my trade in (2016 Dodge Grand Caravan). They did end up meeting me in the middle in the end, but I did lose a bit of value on my trade in compared to what others were offering. Franks excellent communication skills and service were the difference maker in us being ok with losing a bit of that value and making the deal. I recommend checking out Surgenor for your next upgrade as the staff and customer service are certainly top tier.

We visited Surgenor looking for a family sized SUV and had a good idea of what we wanted to look at. Jon Daze-Yach greeted us and listened to what we were after. He showed us a similar vehicle to the Chevy vehicle we were looking for as the vehicle in question was not present that day and offered to come with us to the Surgenor Hyundai dealer almost next door to look at the competing vehicle we were interested in. As it was late in their work day we suggested coming back the following day when he could have the other vehicle there for us to see as well. Jon agreed and we set up an appointment for the following day when we would have more time. When we arrived for the appointment Jon had the Chevy vehicles to show us as well as had brought the Hyundai vehicle we were considering so we could see them side by side. We ended up buying the Hyundai and Jon accompanied us to the other dealership and walked us through the whole process. Jon demonstrated a great deal of patience as we asked for explanations of things we weren't clear on and throughout the bargaining process. Over all the experience was the most pleasant experience we have had buying a vehicle.

Unfortunately had a pretty bad experience at this dealership with John Cyr, the Sales Manager. I called to test drive a Canyon and was told there was one on the lot. When I arrived John told me that one of his coworkers had it and was moving with it, so he was too busy to come drop it off. After I gave him my budget, he did not give me any options. I brought up a deal that was listed on their website and he had no idea what it was. He never made an effort to put numbers together for me or provide me with something within my budget. It was surprising to me given that he is a sales manager, I had a great experience at another Chevrolet dealership instead.

Replacing the passenger side mirror and removing the noise coming from the front right wheel in less then 25 minutes. Friendly staff either sales team or car services team. Just purchased a 2020 GMC Terrain Denali from Surgenor's Ottawa last week and I have to say the service beginning to end was TOP NOTCH! I was so stressed and having anxiety when I walked into the show room, as this is the first time I have ever bought new but by the time I left that day I felt relaxed and confident that I made the right choice. The sales Manager, Mike Leroux was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole experience and made sure to keep checking in to make sure I was okay and didn't have any other questions for him. AK Karam, the finance manager, was just as great, he explained all the details slowly, took his time, didn't rush me and made sure I understood everything I was signing. Lastly, Tony Norman, the sales consultant was just as great, he went above and beyond to help me through the whole process. Again, he went through all the paperwork slowly and thoroughly so I understood everything. He was friendly, informative and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle even though he wasn't allowed to sit in the vehicle with me due to covid he made sure to explain as much as he could from a distance. Very disappointed this time with service and the lady on the counter. Wednesday I called to make an appointment for oil change for my GMC truck, the gentleman offered me for car inspection and i said yes and booked it for 10am. The morning i dropped off my truck the lady on the counter said it will be done by 11:30am come take your truck, i came back at 11:45 am the truck was on the parking lot and the lady without any apology and rudely replied its not done yet asked me to wait in the room, finally she called me at 1pm that your car is done without saying sorry for wait or sorry for being late..

Will not be buying my next truck here! The salesman was great. However I had asked for a gooseneck hitch to be installed. I got a fifth wheel instead and the manager tried to tell me that's how they are after market ( not the case) and they wouldn't replace it with what i had asked so not only did I pay for the first incorrect install I had to pay more to remove it and get the proper hitch installed.

My rant(sorry): I couldn't be happier with my experience with the Surgenor team. I just bought my second car(first was a truck) with the team at Surgenor on St. Laurent. I would like to shout out Jon Dazé and Frank Daoud on their unbelievable service. They both helped me every step of the way with unbelievable service and help at a moment's notice. I will never buy a vehicle anywhere else. This team and their leaders have created an environment where buying/leasing a vehicle is the easiest and most efficient processes that could possibly be experienced. Even with the stringent Covid-19 protocols you will be made to feel like family and you will know the difference between a "car salesman" and a Surgenor team member. Their method is service for life and they stand up to that. My first salesperson left Surgenor for a more secure job(with the government) due to Covid. He did not hesitate to answer my phone call and pass me on to the fantastic hands of Jon Dazé. From day one in October 2019 I have been in contact with and treated like family with the Surgenor team. Upon pick up of my car. I felt like I was being rushed by my sales rep. He did not show me how to use any features of the car or go over anything car specific with me. Didn’t actually take me out to the car either after the papers were signed. It was basically, here sign the papers, here’s your keys ... bye..... I know this was not a “new car” purchase but I was certainly expecting a higher quality of service, especially from a higher end GM dealer. Definitely took away from the purchase of my Cadillac. It is not brand new, but new to me. I bought this car sight unseen but felt confident it was a good car and it sure is. Austin the finance manager was great to deal with and gave me a great option that saved me money with financing. I traveled along way to yet this car and said to myself on the drive up that I when it was time for me to buy a new vehicle I would price it here but not after how I was made to feel.

I was looking to buy a car and Frank at Surgenors Ottawa was extremely helpful. I filled out information online and he called me very quickly to ask me some more questions. Once he confirmed my income he got back to me within a day with a car he thought would be good for me. He was very pleasant and helpful on the phone and he answered his emails nearly immediately. I was unable to go view the car because of my work schedule so Frank actually drove it to my house (30 minutes away) so I could view it at a time that worked for me. I was able to test drive it and decided to purchase it. The next day I set up my insurance and once again Frank was very helpful with getting me all the information I needed. I picked up the car 2 days later, and Frank showed me how to hook up my phone to the cars bluetooth and a bunch of other features. I highly recommend Surgenors Ottawa and especially Frank. Very poor customer service and also unprofessionalSale staff (Andre) and unprofessional used car manager ( Bilal)Their ad about the vehicle I was looking at wasn’t accurate in person , wrong advertisement and wrong mileage . Also the vehicle photos do not show the damages I saw in person. Not going back here. Many other dealers would appreciate the business and the customers, this dealer doesn’t care at all.

I told Cristelle at the counter I only had 500$ budjet to diagnose and fix the problem a key fob issue 08 CTS.... got a call 2 hours later that the total estimate for the diagnostic was 600+$ plus 1000$ for the needed repair.... couldnt afford there crazy overpriced diagnostic, so they ended up taking my car for the 2 hours of "work".I warned them before they started I was on a budjet and they still overcharged... don't waste your money if you value it... later told it would be 600 to completely fix at a key fob specialist store!

Went in and asked the sales rep if he'll beat another offer from a competing dealer. Sales rep said of course and says we will beat it by 500 and offers 3800 off. He then spends the next 20 minutes selling to me to come back and say we can only give you 1000 off when the other dealer was offering 3300. When it only takes 20 minutes to catch a sales rep in a lie then I would steer clear of this dealership. Went to Meyers across town 1 hour later and got 4400 off and signed the deal. I understand there's games that are played when haggling but I have zero patience for a sales rep giving an offer of 3800 off one minute only to reduce it to 1000 the next because it's a popular vehicle that they're not dealing on. Meyers had no issue dealing and selling me a 100k vehicle within the hour.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I purchased a brand new vehicle in 2016 and the hood started to corrode while under warranty.. they sent me to the affiliated body shop connected to them . The body shop told them it can not be repaired and a new hood is required .. the service manager approved the workorder so I brought my vehicle in for the service . When I got my vehicle back they did not replace the hood and modified the work order to just sand and repaint the affected areas, within a year and a half the corrosion has returned in the exact same spot and when I returned they told me your now out of warranty and we will not repair it . After months of back and forth they have come to a deal that GM will pay half and they will pay the other half to do the exact same sand and repaint after 3 separate body shops have said there is no repairing this hood and the corrosion will keep coming back . Next up will be Facebook an CTV's consumer report I've had it with being laughed at after myself and my family have purchased ove half a million dollars in vehicles from surgenor chevrolet Cadillac
