I came to this Honda to get an oil change and inspection. I also came to get my muffler fixed most recently. I was very thankful to have Norm as my advisor. I always see Norm as he is very knowledgable about his work and I found that he is a mechanic as well so he is good at explaining everything that the techs will do to the car. He is also fairly honest and doesnt upsell me anything my car doesn't already need. He was very respectful and even let me in to see the car up on the hoist when I had the muffler issue. It turned out it had completely rusted off ! Thankfully the part was in and my vehicle was fixed so promptly before work ! I highly reccomend to go to him for all your car maintenance and repairs. He knows what he's doing.

We just purchased our second Honda Pilot from Civic motors. Naser Sharif and Fiona Zhu made this purchase easy. They teamed up to show us all the new options and worked with us on the appropriate model. They were super helpful and friendly. I am sold on Civic motors for their friendly and knowledgeable sales team, so nice to deal with. Did I mention the service department. I have had fantastic service from the service department in maintaining my previous Pilot. I followed the standard maintenance plan and in 210,000KM I had only 1 brake job (at 140K) - amazing. The service advisors are knowledgeable and take the maintenance of my vehicle seriously. Everything is explained and optional items are pointed out. Over the past 6 years they have gained my trust. All in all, this is great place to purchase and maintain quality vehicles.

Dropped off my vehicle on Saturday morning for an interior cleaning. I have not had the inside of my car cleaned since I first purchased it in 2014. As many would say, the salt stains were there for ages! Erik L. did such an amazing job on the interior of my car it truly looked like a completely different/ new car! All the items in my car were neatly removed and organized in plastic bags. My summer carpets were removed and cleaned. My winter mats were also washed and put into my car. The exterior of my car was also cleaned ... IT LOOKS SO SHINY! :) Very happy with the service I received. Very quick, clean and professional! I would highly recommend Civic Motors to all my family and friends. A very big thank you to Erik L. for the amazing work on my car!! Usually you'd want to be left alone and do your stuff, but when you have 30K cash in your pockets and ready to spend it, you'd wish you didn't have to wait in line to request service from a salesman. He was nice and still answered our questions, but never offered us a test drive, and did leave us hanging "between customers" more often that I'd like. Maybe they were just short staffed tonight, but we ended up going to Performance Mazda and had stellar service, and a pretty good deal too. Guess who got my money!

Amazing experience buying my car! It was my first time buying a car and I was unsure of how to get a good deal or what to be asking the sales man. When I first entered the dealership I was greeted by a salesman, introducing himself as Jad Hayek. He asked if I knew what I was looking for, and was quick to point me in the right direction. He provided me with all the details of the car, a 2020 Honda Civic Coupe Sport. Jad was very friendly and not pushy about anything. After hearing many horror stories about salesmen being pushy and not caring about the buyers needs, Jad exceeded my expectations completely! I have been going to St Laurent Honda now for over a year and a half and I have been getting great service. During Covid-19 it hasn't been easy for any establishments with lay offs and working with low staff numbers. I was having an issue with my air conditioner and Ben the Service Manager was very helpful because he was a mechanic himself did a quick check on my condenser so we could get the part ordered as I needed to change my appointment to go out of town to tend to a family matter and wasn't able to get in any earlier because of the high demand at the shop and lower staff numbers due to percautions because of COVID. This really has shown me the St. Laurent Honda works as a team to be able to fufill the needs of thier customers. I was also on another occasion able to speak to the Warranty person Sherry and she was very thorough and helpful answering all of my questions and if she didn't know she found out. I apppreciate all thier help and making me feel like my business at thier establishment matters. I would highly reccomend St. Laurent Honda. Also during these times with COVID-19 customers also have to be empathetic to the realities businesses are facing also and remember people are working as hard as they can with what they have available to them. I had a flat tire on Tuesday and Honda road assistance took my car here (the nearest Honda dealer) where I leased my brand new Honda Accord hybrid car on August . When I told the situation to the staff of Honda here as an urgent case, they told me that they were so busy and they didn’t know when they can finish replacing the flat tire. I told them just fit on my winter tires instead of ordering new tires for replacement ( I bought winter tires when I leased my accord hybrid and stored here) that I thought that was the fastest way to drive my car again in a short time. finally, they returned my car 3 days later( on Thursday) after fitting on the winter tires.. I couldn’t work since my car stayed 3 days here just for tire replacement.. by the way , 2018 year Honda Accord hybrid cars have no spare tire in it.

I went in for a oil change and break change today the person who served me first was a great individual BUT the person who I made the payment to was a terrible person. When I wanted to talk to a mechanic because of my car safety he would not allow it and was acting super rude and he ended up charging me over 130+ extra for the oil change and break. This experience was truly unpleasant and not okay If you are going to give someone a price for services that’s what you should be charging not adding 100+ when it comes to payment time. This location is unreliable and untrustworthy The employees should be treating customers with respect and that did not happen today. You guys need to look over your mechanics.

The people at the service department are very nice. I'm not sure why the dealership insists on people making appointments when it doesn't seem to matter. I scheduled my appointment at 1:30pm, went for a walk and came back at 3:15pm. My car was still parked in the parking lot. It didn't go into the garage until close to 3:30pm and then wasn't ready until 5:00pm. I know that they're understaffed and things are difficult because of covid, but then change the appointment bookings so the staff can service the cars in the timely fashion.

I purchased a Honda civic 15 yrs ago. Every 6 month it was taken for servicing. Sometimes they told be there was a major problem ($$$) but when I had someone else check it it was nothing. Service was ok to satisfactory Recently, I had a broken side mirror and called for service info. I left several messages but no one returned my call. Hi. So we are sincerely struggling to get proper service with Civic Motors. Our leased 2017 CRV is having repeated dashboard computer issues and after taking to be charge for "nothing wrong", we just picked it up friendly- had a terrible customer service experience with " nothing wrong" and yep! The dashboard is blinking and error codes ...I am refusing to go to service department. They are not helpful, fairly unfriendly and just upsetting to deal with. Today I have left a message for the general manager and we will see if they call back. I will also begin to escalate this to Honda directly. Buyer beware with the post sale lack of client centric focus... this is my 4 honda vehicle and I am wondering if it will be my last. Is it a dealer issue or a manufacturer issue is yet to be determined...

I was interested in a Certified Civic and had an appointment with a sales reps yesterday. They increased the price just before the appointment. I've tried to contact the sales department a few times but was not able to reach anybody. I've been told by an office employee to bring a proof of previous advertised price (which I had). At the dealer, I was informed that the car was at the owner's house and that it won't be available til she takes possession of her new car. I drove a long way (1 hour return trip) for this so I questioned him on why I have been booked for an appointment for a car that is not available. He left and went to see the sales manager (Patrick) then came back saying the car has been sold. Obviously a lie to get rid of me, he surely does not want to sale it to me at the first advertised price which is a thousand less. So I went directly to see that sales manager and requested him some explanation on their behavior. He said that advertised price is not fixed and is updated occasionally, and that they don't have the obligation to cancel appointment with customers since there other used cars they can choose from. He then went back at staring to his computer screen. A sales reps with good manners and good work ethic would have taken my contact information and helped me find the kind of car I am looking for. Their practices is questionable.

I had a 2001 Honda Odyssey, it had more than 350 000 km and was still running!! Amazing car but it was time to let it go and get a new one... Last month I went to Civic Motors Honda at St. Laurent Blvd. and Luis Miguel Rodriguez was the sales rep. and Financial Services Manager that helped me. He exceeded my expectations with his professionalism, dedication and Knowledge. He explained clearly all my options, at the end, I got a very good deal and in less than 48 hrs I was driving a brand new 2017 Honda Odyssey home! I'll definitely do business with Luis Miguel Rodriguez again. I highly recommend him, the Civic Motors Honda at St. Laurent Blvd. and Honda cars if you want a very reliable car, at a great deal, at a very smooth and pleasant process. THANK YOU!!!

I have purchased two vehicles at Civic Motors and both times were a very pleasant experience. The Service Dept, however is another story. 1. The appt time they give you is to meet with the Service advisor, not when they actually put your car in the garage. An oil change can take 2-4 hours from the time you first meet with the advisor. 2. They often forget to put the wheel lock back in my car, and when they do, they insist on leaving it on my leather seat. Once I drove all the way home only to realize that I was missing the wheel lock. They wanted me to drive back and pick it up. I refused and they delivered to my house. 3. They charged me for a 'stripped' oil plug replacement. The only way that happens is if the mechanic strips it by incorrectly threading it. Given they were the only ones who had ever serviced the car, they finally agreed to remove the charge. 4. One Saturday i went in for a servicing and they were actually quite quick to get my car back to me. When I returned to my car, of course the wheel lock was not there. I went back in and I was told the mechanic had left for lunch, but they found the lock on his work bench. I started up the car and the maintenance minder had not been reset (though it was checked off on the check list). Went back in to get it reset. Got half way home and turned on the radio and it asked me for a code. They had pulled the battery and not reset the radio. Had to drive back. 5. One time they couldn't find my car on the lot because their computer had changed the color of my car??? 6. There are never any floor coverings provided to keep the car clean. 7. The final straw came when I took my wife's car in and when making the appt I told them exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. After two hours I picked up my car and they charged me a diagnosis fee (exactly what I had told them) and nothing was fixed because they had to order the part. I paid my bill and left. Never went back. I would give their service dept ZERO stars if I could.

Civic Motors Honda service department is the best when it comes to customer service! If I could give them more than 5 stars on here I would. If you need any detailing done or service to your Honda please check them out. You won’t be disappointed! They have excellent customer service, Mike the Service Manager was so friendly and easy to deal with and Gerry did an outstanding detailing job that I can't even see any scratches from the damage that was caused. Both of them were beyond helpful and really saved my new SUV that was only 2 months old. I will definitely be back for any future maintenance that is needed. Regardless of how picky and difficult you are, he is willing to take extra steps to ensure you are satisfied and happy customer. Another Norm Durocher complaint. I can see from the reviews a lot of people have been having issues with this one employee. I first went to Civic Motors about 1.5 months ago to get my AC fixed. I booked an appointment to get a diagnosis for what it could be. On the day of the booking I dealt with Norm Durocher. He was incredibly rude and told me they wouldn't take my car in for a diagnosis because they ran out of condensers. It would have been nice to know they didn't have any before going into my appointment. He blamed me and told me I should have called in to confirm they had the part before coming in (I didn't even know what was wrong with my AC, how should I know what part it needs to be fixed?). I get on the phone with someone else who tells me they didn't know the part was on back order until the day before my appointment and they tried to call everyone affected. I guess they missed me, it's fine. The issue with that is that Norm BLAMED me for not calling in to confirm when I booked the appointment TWO WEEKS before my appointment (they wouldn't have known the part would be on back order if I had called them, according to them). So, they tell me they can book me in for another appointment when the part comes in mid July (my appointment was yesterday). I called in one week before this mid July appointment to confirm they have the part for me this time since I'd like to avoid the same issue, they tell me they're not sure if they'll have it and I should call a day or two before the appointment. I called the day before the appointment and I'm assured that the part is in, for me, and the service will get done. On the day of the appointment, low and behold, I'm dealing with the infamous Norm Durocher again. I tell him I'm there to get my condenser replaced and he tells me that I definitely wouldn't be getting the part because I haven't even gotten a diagnosis yet (HE'S THE ONE THAT TURNED ME AWAY FROM EVEN GETTING A DIAGNOSIS THE FIRST TIME I WENT IN). I tell him no, I called in and confirmed already, I want the fix done. 8 hours later (my appointment was at 8AM, I didn't get my car back until around 4PM), my AC is finally fixed. The other staff members I talked to at this establishment seemed very nice (I even purchased my Honda Civic at this location a few months ago in March of 2020) and I hate to give a 1 star review based on the actions of 1 employee but this process has been so incredibly difficult because of Norm that I have to give it a 1 star. To the management - read the reviews from the customers, it is clear where the issues are.

No BS and we just made the deal and I got a lot of extras. Delivery and prep was flawless. Kalil, Said and Don were all very professional and I felt like I had nothing to worry about. I'll never go back. I had issues with my A/C. I booked an appointment for 9am. I dropped the car off at 8:50 and he told me that it would have to stay all day but should be ready around 4. So at 4:02 service calls me and tells me that they don't have enough technicians to get to every car, so they won't be able to help me. He called me at 4:02, considering he had it at 9am, you'd think he would have known earlier about how many people were working that day. He books me for 9am 4 days later....8:25am I get a call saying the machine is busted so they can't see my car. He didn't seem to care(how much should he care really?) I told him to forget it. They should put a big top at that place and call it a circus. Will never go back.

Went to buy a Honda Civic 2014 Ex, they had 2 cars of the specified year. After seeing the cars on the website went to see them and they couldn't show any of them as they didn't know where the cars were. The salesmen said he'll get back to me for a newer car with a better deal and let me know. Later on the salesmen let me know one morning that a car was there and I ensured him I was going to come after work. After the agreement went there to civic motors and when reached there they mentioned the car was sold by another salesmen. I understand you'll sell it to the first customer you get but a courtesy call to let me know would have been nice and saved me a lot of time. They weren't even sorry for what happened. Didn't like the selfish act at all. You guys have some nice people there and are better than a lot of the other honda dealers in Ottawa. Just cause Honda has high demand don't look down upon your customer. Treat them with respect. After that went to Bank Street Hyundai and had an amazing experience from them, the best I could have hoped for and they earned my money and respect.

Did not have any coordination at all, I originally went to Civic Motors Honda to view a 2016 Honda HRV, I live almost an hour drive away, when I arrived at the Dealership, the Sales reps couldn't even figure out who was assigned to show me the vehicle. I was then introduced to someone, and then I was informed that the vehicle I drove an hour to see was already sold, the lack of communication and forcing me to drive down to the Dealership without any notification or acknowledgement on my side to know the vehicle was sold just convinces me they wanted to try and persuade me with another vehicle. Which they did, it was absolutely ridiculous, the price rage went up higher than what I informed them of what my budget was intended for. I would not recommend going to this Dealership if you're going for a lease or finance.

Spoke to a dealer on Tuesday after seeing a CR-V available online. The next day we called him back and said we'd like to see the vehicle. The dealer confirmed that it was available and that we could see it at 11am. We drove in from 45 kilometres away and viewed it and test drove it, then sat down to get the Carfax and make a deal on the car only to be told that the vehicle had sold two days previously. Very disappointed and upset in our experience at Civic Motors. The dealer himself was very pleasant and personable, but that doesn't change our wasted time researching and driving a car that was already sold.

10.27.20 A leasing rep from Civic Motors and I met on Fri Oct 23rd to discuss (1) negotiating a new lease or (2) buying out my 2017 Honda Pilot that had been leased from Honda Financial Services (HFS). The leasing rep had been with Civic Motors for only one month and while very polite (and who had bought me a coffee), was relatively inexperienced regarding the process. To assist, the Sales Manager became involved in the discussion. I had initiated the lease of this 2017 Honda Pilot from Civic Motors in Dec 2016 so the dealership should have had notes on file of the various options I had chosen for the original lease ie. tow hitch, roof rack etc. However, they were unaware of the various options I had leased with the 2017 Pilot. To be fair, an attractive discount was offered as I have been a loyal Honda customer, having owned/leased four Honda vehicles over the last twenty years. An estimate was drafted for a new lease of a 2021 Honda Pilot but the options I wanted were not included in the estimate so another estimate was drafted. This took a considerable amount of waiting time. When it became apparent that I was tending toward a buy-out and not a lease renewal despite several attempts by the leasing rep and Sales Manager to get me to sign a new lease on the spot, things became interesting. Neither the leasing rep nor the Sales Manager were able to provide me with their business cards. They refused to give me a copy of the leasing estimate and really were most unhelpful regarding the various details involved in buying out a leased vehicle. They did provide me with the buy-out estimate from HFS. To conclude, I spent over two, largely wasted hours at Civic Motors in an unproductive meeting that should have lasted under one hour. Having said that, this experience helped me make the decision to instead buy out my 2017 Honda Pilot from another Ottawa Honda dealership. While the staff were most polite and gracious, I had hoped for a more productive meeting even while opting for a buy-out. Based on my recent experience, my advice is not to deal with Civic Motors.

The salesmen (some Pakistani Indian man) refused to budge the price nor did he try negotiating with the sales manager. All he wanted was a quick sale. I brought my car in to get a replacement key for my civic as it wasn't starting. The car wasn't even looked at but I was quoted a price of $190 for the key. After waiting almost four days for it to arrive from Montreal, I was told that the key is not the issue but I can have a diagnostics test done that will cost close to $150 which I declined. My husband erroneously told them to go ahead not knowing the situation and that the car needed to be able to start to have a Diagnostics done. The end result was a key that doesn't work and a bill over $300. They quoted me $800 to replace the ignition, no thank you. Never mind their customer service was far from friendly and I won't be going back there ever.

Ask for Kyle, who was our salesman. Super courteous, caring and down to earth kind of guy. Just bought a used 2018 HRV. No issues whatsoever. When we picked up the car on a rainy day, there were a couple of things that really were a comedy of errors but were very quickly rectified so we could carry on with our day. It made us laugh and made these guys human. The general manager, Mark, was super with assisting Kyle as well. I highly recommend this dealership over so many others where salesmen are just plain rude or pushy. I felt very comfortable with the whole experience.

It has been incredibly frustrating dealing with this Honda location. From sales staff who don’t know their own product specs, to trying to get ANY SORT of customer service. I’m referring to standard services these locations offer: maintenance appointments( covered under warranty) , safety recall appointments, anyone answer the phone at different times of the day( day of the week ) or any sort of callback after leaving a voicemail. I received a safety recall on my Honda vehicle first week of April2021, and am still waiting for a pulse check from this location. I’ve been in customer service for over 20+ years, and I understand that it can be busy, but the lack of any kind of service is mind blowing.

Started off the summer with the AC in my 2018 civic not working so I decided to book it in for service at Civic Motors. Booking was easy over the phone, spoke with a gentleman named Norm who was able to answer all of my questions with clarity. When I brought the car in I dealt with Ian Blais, very friendly guy, he warned me up front of any charges if my repair wouldn't be covered under warranty. Couple hours later I got the call with a quick diagnosis, they didn't have the part but were able to get it in the following day. Return visit went just as smoothly as the first, Ian gave me a quick run down and then I was on my way, nice cool drive home in the AC. Great job Civic Motors!

First I was told it was out for gas then found out they never had it and it was sold out of another dealership. Would have been nice to have known this before I drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. Consistently bad customer service. I have been frequenting this Honda location for years and don't know why I keep coming back. It is very close to my home but it would be more convenient to drive across Canada to get my Honda serviced at this point. I am OK waiting for parts and understand that Civic Motors Honda is not responsible for the delay in receiving them, but, what they are responsible for is managing their customers' expectations and providing good customer service. Every time I have ever dealt with Civic Motors there is ALWAYS a problem! Some examples include: 1) Not ordering the rims I paid for and waiting for months to realize they had not even been ordered. 2) I have a free car detailing coupon I have been trying to use for years and every time I get my car back there is a different excuse as to why they couldn't clean my car. 3) My AC condenser broke in June and I was told the part would be in on August 14, I never received a call and called on the 15th and was told they would be in on the 21st, I called on the 22nd and it was still not in, I was told to call back in a few weeks. What I find concerning is that I have been given multiple dates in which they expected the part to come in but do not follow up with their customers to manage expectations. 4) Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone here as 80% of the time I leave a voicemail that does not get returned. I have only ever bought Honda Civics my whole life and due to my experience here, I can honestly say I am no longer a Honda man. Time for a change!

I recently traded in my leased 2017 HRV after several years of dealing with Civic Motors Honda and am regretting not leasing my next vehicle through them. Instead, I marched on over to a luxury dealership in close proximity to Civic Motors, assuming that I’d have an experience equal to or even better than Civic Motors. Sadly, I’ve learned that not all dealerships are created equal and am missing Civic Motor’s exceptionally seamless service department and efficient, friendly sales staff. If you are considering purchasing or leasing from Civic Motors, do it! You won’t be disappointed.

This dealership has been steadily going downhill the last years or two. I purchased my Honda CR-V there, and always use their service until recently. Not only have my repair bills gone up, but service has gone downhill. Recently had my vehicle in for an oil change, and when I got back in my vehicle the steering wheel was dirty and grease covered. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it isn’t my first problem with Civic Motors. Contacting their service department is a nightmare as well. You’re put on hold for a minute or two, then told to leave your name and number for a call back. . I’ve left my name and number three times, and have yet to receive a call back. Not good business. Needless to say I will NOT be buying my new Honda CR-V at Civic Motors, nor will I ever allow them to service it.

I am 22 years old and this was my first time buying a new car. I didn't know what to expect.. but I was warned of a few things going into it. I had consulted this website and looked up HONDA dealers in my area and this location had the best rating by far. When I arrived to the dealership, I was immediately helped by Josh. It wasn't aggressive either, he simply asked if I was being helped and then offered to answer any questions about any of the cars I was interested in. I had pretty well already decided on the Honda Civic and wanted to purchase that day. Josh was great.. he helped me get exactly what I want, as far as price was concerned and they had no problem throwing in a bunch of incentives on top of it. I'm not much of a haggler/negotiator, but I didn't really need to do that with Josh because he was so easy to give me what I want.. and I wanted a lot. I dealt with Michel for Financing and he was excellent as well. Very honest and forth coming about all the extra features that they try to sell you. Very personable guy. After purchasing my vehicle (2016 Honda Civic EX), they had the car ready early in the morning and walked me through the features of the car when I arrived to pick it up. Although it is my ONLY experience, it was a VERY pleasant one and I can say I will definitely be returning in the future! Thanks guys!

Terrible experience buying a car here. I went here because I saw they had a Honda fit LX in stock but by the time I got there it had already sold. They told me they could get another one in by next week so I gave a deposit and waited. 10 days go by and they call me to tell me the Honda fit LX is hard to find and try to go back on our deal and push a Honda fit EXL Navi they had on the lot which was more expensive. We haggle back and forth and come to an agreement and arrange a time so I can pick up the car. The morning I'm supposed to pick it up, Charbel, the owner calls me to tell me he thought the car he was about to sell me was a Honda fit Sport and he couldn't give me the car for the price we agreed on. He seriously didn't know the kind of cars he had on his own lot??? So I had to wait another week so they could get an LX model in for our original deal. This was a terrible experience. I got the car 2 weeks later than promised and they didn't offer anything in compensation for the extra waiting. Though I did get my car in the end I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. From promising me deadlines they couldn't keep, to making deals with me they couldn't honour, getting my car from this dealership was through and through the worst experience I've ever had buying a car.

I have never experienced staff that care less about a client's concerns. I spoke to Norm Durocher when I went because my car's ac did not work (this happens in a lot of hondas) and he turned me away from my scheduled appointment because they didn't have any condensers left. I understand that they may not have the part, but it is necessary to have the car diagnosed in the first place. When I went to a different Honda dealership, they were shocked that this one had turned me away without diagnosing the issue. Also, I had set my preferred form of contact to email and they did not inform me before the appointment that they had to reschedule. They said that they had called me however I did not receive any calls, and that wasn't even my preferred method of contact? The only time I was ever spoken to with any respect was when I had asked one of the employees names so that I could talk to his manager about my bad experience with him. Don't come here to purchase, or fix your car!

Never lease cars from this deal or Honda unless you want to buyout. I returned my leased car on date and everything (car inspection) went well. I double checked with the manager if there futher payment required and the answer is no. BUT 4 month later they asked me to pay extra charge due to scratches on the car. (I bought lease garud but they said not covered). The worst thing is they only send me an email 4 month later and my TransUnion credit was droped from 850 to 740 due to their report!!! What a shame company.

We purchased a CR-V last month. Nasser and Maroon were both incredibly helpful and made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. Maroon was very helpful when we were looking in the spring, but not quite ready to buy. When we had decided and went back they completely patient while I vacillated over interior seat colour and helpful as we were deciding on which trim to get. I am confident that we got the best price, even if comparing to a more competitive market like Toronto. Nasser did his best to make sure that it was quick - not sitting in an office for longer than was necessary, as he tried to up-sell us on extras. We got exactly what we wanted and were able to pick up the car just a few days later. We will definitely be returning in a couple months when it is time for winter tires and rims! We're thrilled with our new family vehicle and with the great service we got.

Service pricing is competitive and I never had any service work recommended or pushed on me when not necessary. Naturally, when looking for a new car, Civic Motors was at the top of the list.
