Check every single line of what is being charged on the car finance. I had the sad and frustrating experience when I noticed that the amount of my car loan was 5.3K higher than I expected and I just noticed it because I tried to pay the finance in advance. Be aware of values included on the price that does not make sense and is not clear specially if you are new Canadian. I bought 2 cars with them, the product is good for sure but I'm felling like they took advantage on my lack of knowledge about it and my level of confidence on their services.

I've been looking for a Smart car for a while now, mostly on Kijiji. Many used car dealers advise here. But I kept seeing Canadian Auto Mall. Well one day a Smart car came up. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but it was very low km for the year. I thought it was very good value, so I called. The person on the phone was both friendly and helpful and I planned a visit on my next day off. When I arrived I was greeted, thanked for coming in, and within minutes was off for a test drive. This was exactly the gas saving machine I was looking for. I gave it a good look over, and after a conversation about warranty and finance I signed the paperwork to make it mine. They needed a couple days to give it its final inspection before delivery. Understandable. When I arrived to pick it up I was again greeted in a friendly manner. Signed the final papers and off I went. It's been a few days now and I have to say that from start to finish these guys are pros. I got all the information I needed to make a good decision with no pressure or BS. I couldn't be happier with my experience with the Canadian Auto Mall. Thanks a ton.

Bad client service. Disappointed especially after reading the reviews before visiting. I took an appointment on thursday morning for a test drive on saturday. When i show up, tje car is already on a test drive with another client. I understand it is business and the sooner it sells the better, but then what's the poibt of booking an appointment? I am so happy with the new car sitting in my driveway! We have test driven cars at this dealership before but were never able to quite get what met our needs before now. This time I had to decide between two cars that would have been perfect for me. I decided on a Subaru Outback and I am so happy with it so far. Our first contact was with Richard who was a fantastic salesperson. No pressure, great suggestions and willing to answer my questions. Then when we were ready to move ahead we dealt with Craig to take care of the final numbers and financing. We were able to work out a good deal while having a few laughs. When I picked up the new car, Craig moved my trade in out of the way and then when he was pulling my new car up he set the radio station to the one I had been listening to in my old car. I found the perfect car for me at the Canadian Auto Mall!! The service is professional, courteous and they really listen to your wants and needs. Once I purchased the car, Canadian Auto Mall did a Safety Check on site. Work was done to the brakes (cleaning and changed break pads) and, because the tires were worn, they put on new tires! If you want to purchase a used car, this is the place to go! My car was delivered on time and with a smile. They have a great selection of very good used cars, in awesome condition and based on my car search, the prices are more than reasonable. The owner is kind and knows what he is doing!! Wonderful car buying experience! I bought exactly the car I had wanted to buy new, but without taking the hit on the drive-it-off-the-lot depreciation. We kept Richard busy for a couple of hours retrieving cars for us to test drive, and he was cheerful and happy to help the whole time - even when we tested 5 identical cars from a recent fleet acquisition! When it was time for my wife to upgrade from a car to a van to fit our family, we spent a lot of time shopping around before we came to Canadian Auto Mall - I wish we had saved our time and gone there first! We knew what model and year(s) we wanted for our van, and found a few on their website before we first visited. Upon arrival, Richard greeted us and with a no-pressure casual attitude was happy to show us the vehicles on the lot - especially as we went back and forth between them multiple times! Although he didn't have all the specs and differences between models and years at the tip of his tongue (they do carry every make, model, and year!) his insights were quite helpful. After testing out a model we were interested in, we decided - primarily due to NOT feeling any pressure - to look at the financing for it. It was refreshing to discover that the list price was the price; I dislike the haggling for cars, and all the work that dealerships do "behind the scenes for approvals". We met with Ott - an asset for Canadian Auto Mall. Once again there was no pressure as we talked about the options for financing the van! Not only that, but Ott was very clear about the process, terms, and methods for financing and purchasing a vehicle. He explained terms as a human - not a legal except - including the methods that many dealerships use to... influence... the pricing of a vehicle. I wish that I'd learned those before I purchased my last two cars! Ott's honestly and integrity sold us on our purchase of the new van, and even after the papers were signed he continued to be in communication with us to ensure we were happy with our purchase. You want to make sure that Canadian Auto Mall is one of your first visits; not only will you not experience a high pressure sales tactic, you'll also learn more about the purchasing/financing process that will open your eyes, and make you feel more comfortable than anywhere else.

Beware of their policies because they don't stay true to them when it comes time to pay up! Before I bought I had the car inspected by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The front & rear brakes and tires were strong recommended replacement. Cad. Auto Mall refused to agree with the CAR MANUFACTURER EXPERTS. It took a lot of convincing for the Cad. Auto Mall to replace the brakes but they finally agreed in order to close the sale. Then they got super shady, they told me the car was ready and all brakes were replaced but I asked to see receipts for the new parts and they only had proof for the rear brakes. They assured me the rear & front were replaced, before I'd agree to take the car I made them sign a contract reflecting their claim but they would not sign because they were lying. I told them I wouldn't pick up the car until they could prove all brakes were replaced. Later that day the Cad. Auto Mall called me and confessed the front brakes had NOT been replaced. Now for the tires, the tires should have been replaced, the manufacture dealership said they had almost no life on them left. Cad. Auto Mall put a penny in the tread to show me all the life left in the tires...as if a penny is any indication on the safety of tires (if that isn't an indication these people aren't experts I don't know what is)... but I was so fed up with dealing with these guys and I was putting winter tires on anyway so I said "f it" and let them win that battle. Fast forward to summer, not even 4 months of driving on those tires (only 4000km) one of the tires FAILED while driving on the 401! I included a picture of the failed tire, with a penny for good measure, or bad measure ;) I'm clearly not an expert but this failed tire pic proves that Canadian Auto Mall are either uneducated about car quality or they are a little fast and loose with their policy depending on their profit margin. So why 2 stars? It's been 1.5 years and no engine problems or new rust, and with a little teeth pulling they did replace the brakes and despite the frustration, Ro was very professional, willing to negotiate and nice. Here is the Auto Mall response, they would like to make sure you have all the information to make an informed decision. Looks like you can't leave a negative review or you will be sued by them. From Canadian Auto Mall: 1. It was all about price for you. We were asking $**,*** for the X3 and your offer was $**,*** ($3000 below asking). 2. I mentioned to you that I has paid $**,*** for the vehicle and I cannot sell it to you for $**,*** ($1000 profit margin) as it leaves me no room to do any safety related work. 3. We agreed that you will get Vehicle inspected and if it does not need anything I will let It go for $**,***. (this is where we agree to disagree) 4. After inspection BMW recommend Brakes and 50% tire life. 5. I told you I will not be able to do the deal if I have to replace the recommended items. 6. We agreed that you are OK with tires at 50%, and brakes still need to be done, to which you offered 50/50 split. 7. I offered to do that brakes if you paid for parts and I covered the labour. You gave me the go ahead. 8. I ordered the parts and the shop mechanic replaced the front Brakes and did not do the rear (Parts issue plus I was on holiday). 9. On my return I rectified the rear brake situation. You were happy with the final outcome. You also asked me to get you winter tires at cost, which I did and installed them for you on the rims you supplied..though not the correct size but only after you confirmed with BMW that they will work. 10. All this that I have listed is covered in our email exchanges and I can forward them to you if you don’t have them. The cost of the vehicle is $**,*** and I can share my purchase bill of sale with you. 11. So I request that you please reflect all these items in your review, otherwise I will post it in my response. If we cannot resolve this mutually I will take legal action as you are defaming my dealership for something we did not do.

I'd been looking for a 2020 white Nissan Kicks for months without luck. Feeling a little frustrated one day I started looking again and found Canadian Auto Mall and the first car showing was a 2020 white Nissan Kicks, low mileage, good price and they were located 10 minutes away, bonus. Hadn't purchased a new car in 16 years so had a lot of noise regarding car salesmen in my head but the reviews for CAM were very good so I felt comfortable pursuing this. This purchase was stress free, relaxing and fast and I had keys in my hand within a few days. Craig has a lot of finance experience is very laid back, friendly, took his time and looked at a number of options to stay within my budget for monthly payments and came up with a number that made me happy so thank you Craig! All the paperwork was taken care of and all I had to do was contact my Insurance company so fast and thorough. There was a little hiccup just recently and the CMA owner, Ro, could not have been more helpful and friendly and replaced a part with a brand new one although new may not have been necessary, how's that for customer service and at no cost to me so thank you Ro! Dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready for me in the afternoon. Any concerns I may have had melted away. There's a reason CAM has so many excellent reviews, glad I found them.

After 24 years of buying many vehicles from the same big brand dealership, I wanted a vehicle with a diesel engine. A friend of mine referred me to Canadian Auto Mall. Having been dealing with the same place for over two decades, I was accustomed to a certain level of treatment and was reluctant to try a new place as a completely new customer. Well, I must say the experience was more than just fantastic. From the salesman to the finance guy, the level of service I got more than met or exceeded my expectations. I popped in once to get a feel for the place and stated what I wanted, suggesting I'd want to test drive two or three vehicles the following weekend. I was asked to send an email with the cars in question and they'd be ready for me at the appointed time. I liked what I saw and drove and made a purchase. Smooth sailing from beginning to end. Bonus: I noticed an issue with a seat I hadn't seen prior to making the purchase... that got fixed too, a week after I took delivery. Short version - not only are these folks great to you in the purchase process, the after purchase support seems to be just as fantastic. They really seem to be trying to make Canadian Auto Mall my destination of choice for my next 24 years. Their effort may just work out. Great place with great people!

My neighbour referred me to the Canadian Auto Mall. I highly believe in word of mouth and referrals, this is why I choose to shop at the Canadian Auto Mall . When I drove onto the lot and got out of my car, I was greeted by a very friendly, non-pushy salesman. (I know what your thinking, friendly and non-pushy salesman pffff, more like pushy salesman)....but honestly, he was super friendly and not pushy. This particular salesman's name was Tom. Tom had to put up with me "test-driving" just about every vehicle they had on their lot..."no worries" he said. My boyfriend and I found Tom to be very professional and has a great sense of humour.
