I have been with this company for almostb4 years now and they have been nothing but amazing. They are a very helpful and understanding company. The employees are absolutely amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a car. Please if u get a car from them mention my name. I get a discount!_!

First off - YES they did help me get into a vehicle. However upon driving away noticed some things were wrong with the vehicle over the first month - power windows were very slow to go up and down on drivers and passenger side as well as the rear defrost only defrosted two lines of the back window. I immediately informed of these issues by voice mail on three occasions without a return phone call. I was not happy with this customer experience so i held back on the monthly payment until i received a call from them. 5 days late no phone call and they repossessed my vehicle without court approval and charged me 500.00 to get it back PLUS catching up on my car payment. did i mention they gave me a great rate of 10 percent? on a vehicle that was priced at 5000 but going value was at best 3000? did i also mention they charge me 100 per month and call it a handling fee? So I am paying about 45 percent interest in total. Tara, called me on Aug 31 and advised me to make my payment by the first. I was driving at the time told her yes that i would send it in tommorrow and hung up... I was told that i was SHORT with her in an email later that day she advised me that if i was late i would be charged a 100 NSF fee. A NSF fee is a fee based upon a cheque or automatic payment bouncing..... i pay by email money transfer therefore there is no possible way it can bounce. Furthermore with past discussions with Tara she advised me that as long as i advise her of a late payment it will never be an issue. So when i sent in my half payment i advised that i would send the rest the next pay period which was 14 days away. I was advised that i would still have to pay 50 for the NSF. Did i also mention that the other day I had a flat tire. You see there safety inspection consists of somebody signing a certifcate. The tire had a plug on the inside SIDE WALL. was advised by two different shops that this tire should have never of passed safety. The fact that i do many hours of driving on the hwy according to the mechanics that i placed my life, my children's and family's life in GRAVE DANGER as if this tire were to blow could very likely to ROLL. Now I have been threatened that if i dont pay the 50 nsf fee they will repossess my vehicle again. I presume this matter will probably not be resolved as TARA lacks any sort customer service skills and changes her tune because she read an email that was plainly stating what i was doing with my payment as being rude as she puts it "going off on her" The owner is JOE. the practices of this company is by any account fair and just. they are not good with their word. IF you enjoy paying thru the nose for a vehicle who have no compassion and do not follow thru on their word. then by all means go ahead and use the company for your next vehicle. I also presume that when my vehicle is repossessed for 50 bucks I will be taking them to court. OMVIC has been notified of their practices and i expect ramifications will be steep from them. They have placed me in a position that i can not get out of as i need the vehicle for work and feel that they are just in these practices. CONGRATULATIONS NEW RIDE!!! You are by far the worst dealer in Oshawa. 1 star rating is not low enough

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Run ... don't walk away from this dishonest dealership! One star is more than they deserve. Don't believe anything they tell you, or that you read on their website. Oh, and the mechanics they use to safety their vehicles for sale .... they don't know what they're doing either. Don't say you weren't warned ....

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! NewRide is a great place with great staff... They helped me out when I thought I was out of options. TARA is amazing and they are so lucky to have her. She went above and beyond to help me. I went in, quickly noticed how busy she was and yet I felt like I was the only customer she was focused on. Her speed in getting things done and her response time is be commended. I was able to drive away in a WAY better car than I figured I would! I wouldn't think twice about recommending New Ride to friends and family.

Very bad dealer, car they sold us was a HUGE lemon. Asked if it had ever been in an accident, they said no. They lied, after going to get a front end alignment we were informed the car had been rear ended and would require a frame straightener to fix the alignment issue. When we took delivery a few days later we started noticing problems. We took it back and they kept the car for almost a month with no rental car or courtesy car for us. Their offsite mechanic is now being reported for numerous Ministry violations in regards to proper vehicle safety infractions. Our car required new front bushing, upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends, hazard light switch, ball joints and the exhaust to be fixed and that was just for a proper safety. We purchased our car in the winter months so were not able to properly check the A/C. Of course after the 30 day warranty we find our A/C compressor is shot, numerous wiring issues, transmission is blown and their mechanic broke the oil dipstick and then put a screw in the broken piece instead of replacing it. The dipstick alone costs 70.00 to replace, something that should have been done by them. I would recommend you run as fast as you can instead of dealing with this dealer and find a reputable dealer instead.

My boyfriend purchased a vehicle from this place about a month ago. He also purchased the extended warranty through them. Yesterday afternoon, his car wouldn't start- it's not the battery so we are assuming it's the starter. First thing this morning, he called the dealership in hopes of having his car fixed as it's the week of Christmas and we have to go to Ottawa to see family. All morning he got the run around. "The girl that deals with this is off sick" he's told. He leaves voicemails for the owner, no one returns his calls. So FINALLY I call- A sales person answers the phone who knows nothing. Tells me he's the only person in today as it's Christmas. EXACTLY! it's Christmas and his car is broke down. He purchased the EXTENDED warranty because of this. The sales person says he doesn't know anything- that the girl that deals with this is off sick. I really don't care if she's off sick. That's why I personally don't deal with shady dealerships because of this issue. I advised him of the situation and asked him what are we supposed to do. He says he has no idea. PERFECT! I told him we will have the car towed to his dealership, and he can deal with it. He tells me that we can't do that because we need to speak to Tara (the girl who's off sick). No one helpful is in, just someone who can make some more shady deals and false promises. I am beyond FRUSTRATED with this place. I've never dealt with anything like this before in my life. Real dealerships would have a tow truck pick your car up immediately, and have it towed. Provide you with a rental and have your car fixed in an appropriate amount of time. This is why I always buy brand new. I am so frustrated with this place. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
