Do not go to Galaxy their word means nothing and they do not do their job. I purchased a vichle from there and had an issue called regarding my extended warranty and I was told yes still active and 100 valid. Booked my appointment drop my van off. They called me 28 hours later and said that my warranty was not valid and it was going start at 3700 for the repair. Brain the manager was a complete waste of my time and did not care staff their were not doing their job. Please note well sitting there a young man told me Galaxy had to replace his transmission 3 weeks after purchase though it went through a full safety inspection and maintenance by the shop there. Please note that there was 3 more cars in there with check engine lights on from purchases made through their locations.

I went into Galaxy Motors just to look, and ended up purchasing a Ford Fusion Hybrid. The car I had wasn't suiting myself and my family. They offered me an excellent trade-in for my car, and refinanced the difference of my existing loan with the new car for almost the same as I was paying before. The entire staff were friendly and professional, and didn't put undue pressure on me to make a purchase. The salesman, Nick Dicastri, was especially helpful; very friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me pick a vehicle that will work much better for my family. I would definitely recommend both him and the dealership in general.

Edit: The car was missing floor mats but Max hooked me up with a set. The fact that he did it after I already paid says a lot. Dieter also helped me out with some warranty issues after the fact too so props to them both for the extremely helpful service! Definitely ask for Max if you come here. Great people, very relaxed atmosphere. Max helped me get a good deal on my new Nissan Leaf SV and was very accommodating the entire time besides. Dieter and the insurance guy were also pretty nice and will go out of their way to get you good rates on loans and insurance. As for how the new(used) car holds up I'll see in a week or two.

I don't normally do this kind of thing but I need to share my experience. March 22nd, I purchased a 2011 Chevy Equinox from Galaxy. There is a report saying a full inspection was done and the salesman told us $1500 was put into the vehicle before my purchase. March 26th (5 days and 196km later), the vehicle broke down on my way to work. I had BCAA pick it up and return it to Galaxy. Galaxy actually lost the vehicle for the entire day March 27th because whoever took it from BCAA had driven it back up into the sales lot instead of the service department. Turns out when they went looking for it, they had my name completely wrong and were looking for someone else's vehicle all day. Finally, March 29th the vehicle gets looked at and I get a message from services saying there are multiple things wrong with the car (specifically solenoids) and that they have a quote for me. I didn't think that after less than a week I should have to pay for anything and unfortunately had to seriously complain to get it the cost of the repairs covered as I had felt I was sold an unmerchantable vehicle. Forward to June 8th (2.5 months and a total of 4059km) , where my check engine light goes on again between jobs. Canadian Tire was able to get it in immediately to diagnose the issue. One was a small repair that is expected in a 10 year old vehicle but what got me was the oil change. The mechanics stressed that the oil was very low and extremely dirty and whoever had it last had seriously neglected oil changes(almost 3L of oil was needed to flush it). Is this not something the service department should have noticed and dealt with when the inspection was done?? To me this is a serious red flag that an inspection was not done, the record of inspection was fraudulent and I had been sold an unmerchantable vehicle. I contacted management to express my unhappiness and Steve offered me two hot oil flushes. July 11th the check engine light came on for the third time and I sent it back to Galaxy. On July 15th, I received a call that multiple things were wrong with the car, including the solenoids which was what was "repaired" in March. They claimed they didn't know why so I would need to pay $150 to further diagnose the issue. I refused the service and made an emailed complaint to the management requesting they take the vehicle back and give me a full refund. I was contacted July 16th by the girl in services saying the manager had authorized covering the cost of the diagnostics which I replied with another email saying this was not what I want and I want a full refund. I soon got a phone call from Alex who spent our 12 minute conversation exaggerating multiple numbers and time frames. The $1500 they had put into the vehicle before I bought it suddenly became over $2000 and he claimed I had put over 300km on the vehicle the first time I brought it in (I put on 196km) and over 5000km when I had the oil change done by Canadian Tire (I put on 4059km). He also kept saying I have owned the vehicle for "almost six months - that's half a year" (I've owned it for less than 4 months) and what else did I expect from a 10 year old vehicle with 182000km on it? He even took it as far as accusing me of slander when we could not come to an agreement and I said I would be keeping my file with the Better Business Bureau open. I believe my emails were ignored and this conversation was done over the phone purposefully to manipulate the truth in an attempt to confuse and intimidate me without a paper trail. Long story short, my experience purchasing a vehicle from Galaxy Motors Westshore has caused me nothing but stress, humiliation and loss of income. I am shocked by the lack of communication between staff members, the band-aid repairs the service department is clearly making and I am especially disappointed in the way my complaint was handled by Alex. I appreciate the attempt to repair the issues and I am very sorry to be such an unhappy customer, but there is something seriously wrong with this dealership. I would not with this nightmare on anyone!

Dave was on it right away. We reviewed exactly what we wanted and what our budget was. Dave had the whole team on it until we found the perfect deal! So for our budget we got bigger, better, safer, newer, and all for less money than we expected. If that wasn't enough, due to some mobility issues, absolutely everything was handled by phone and online. They actually delivered our new Santa Fe right to our door in Shawnigan Lake. Was not my best experience at all buying a car for the first time for my dad..than the car ended up needed to be serviced little over two weeks after I got it. Felt like the blame game the whole time. Than something goes missing off the car and I get called a liar basically that it wasn't on it to begin with. Still haven't fixed the crack on the window but I'm not even going to go back. Next time just going to a real dealership The only plus was they gave me the money to replace what was stolen off the car.

I have had many experiences with Galaxy Motors as this will be my 3rd purchase through them to date. Some have been good and others not so much however this experience was great! I had the pleasure of dealing with Cianna who was not only extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles did not pressure sell in anyway. From start to finish she stayed very friendly and even called to follow up to make sure the car was doing good. I was very hesitant on going back to Galaxy due to a past experience however now I dont think I would deal with anyone else but Cianna.
