Hired a bicycle from here, price is very reasonable but the bike was a bit cumbersome and heavy. I could have gotten a flashier road bike for a little more money which I might do next time. The chap helping me set up was just finishing this shift so just gave me the bike and said "there ya go"; no judgement, I too get tired after work. Once I'd set up the saddle and put the panier bag on correctly I was off and the ride was lovely around the south coast of Victoria. The guy I paid at the end of the ride was much more chatty and friendly. Will be coming again, but might have to get the better bike :)

We had a great time on the Royal Tea Tour. Our Guide, Matt, was super easy to talk to, knew a lot about the area and the history of Canada. The ride wasn't super rough, but there were some hills (which Matt said we could walk up if we really wanted). I think Matt also customized our route, since it was just two of us and asked what we've already seen in the area - everywhere we went was new to us. We went through the beautiful Beacon Hill Park, visited the house where Emily Carr grew up, and the end of our trip was a peaceful Tea Time at the Abkhazi Gardens. Matt also had some great recommendations for where to eat in neighborhoods we hadn't been to yet - it got us out of downtown which we were getting extremely familiar with. The bikes were also comfortable and I had no issues with mine.

These people were pros from start to finish for my week long motorcycle rental. Great communication and easy to deal with. Have rented from them 4 times now and it is a breeze each time. Most of the staff are "two wheelers" who can impart local knowledge on where to find the best twisties.

Tip Top, first rate experience. We rented electronic bicycles and went out for about 3 hours. Amazing trail (Lochside) goes on forever. A must do for anyone looking to spend a few hours (or a day) checking out the sights in/around Victoria BC.

Very happy with the city/path hybrid bicycle rental. Rented a Giant Escape 3 for 2 days of exploring the Victoria region. Bike was in perfect shape and we'll maintained and the helmet was clean. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area's bike paths and provided paper maps as well as suggestions. Contrary to their website, the bike didn't have a water bottle holder, nor a U-lock (cable lock instead). I appreciated their contract was straightforward and slim. I'd definitely rent from them again — lots left to explore!

Marty hooked us up with two e-assist bikes for 24 hours and we were not disappointed. He had some great suggestions for where to go and what to do on the bikes. Easy to get all hooked up and ready to go, from helmet to utility bag, we had everything we needed for an amazing day. Conveniently located near all points of interest. Would highly recommend this place for all your Victoria biking needs.

We rented a Yamaha 2 seat scooter for a night ride! We did 30-40km along the cost and took in the sights. However on our return the scooter broke down on us due to an unknown mechanical issue. We had to hide the scooter in a bush and call a cab to get home. The guys at the shop made it right and paid for my cab and did not charge for the rental. I had assumed the belt has failed but it seems I was incorrect.

Rented a two-seat scooter for 3-4 hours. They make sure you can ride it before completing the rental by going through some exercises. It was a great way to explore the coast of the Greater Victoria Area and Mount Douglas.

Fun store specializing in bicycle and scooter rentals. We rented a two person scooter to ride around Victoria for day. The rental process was fast and easy and we had a blast scooting around the coastline and seeing the various sights and attractions. Equipment was well maintained. Staff took time to walk us through scooter safety and operation until we were comfortable.

Took my two young kids out for a short bike ride in downtown Victoria. Got on the bike path right near this store. I took the younger one behind me on a trail-a-bike, and the older rode one of their kid's bikes. The staff were very friendly to my kids which was really nice. They had us setup and on our way in a matter of minutes. The rental rates were reasonable. I would recommend this store.

This was a really fun thing to do. We rented scooters and drove along the coast line and it was spectacular. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the service guy. Allan was rude, condescending and clearly hates people. It took him a full minute to even acknowledge us at the counter and he showed no enthusiasm for our business. In fact, while we were out on the scooters we came across others on them and we stopped and all laughed about what a grouch Allan was. I actually laughed out loud when we paid at the end and the payment machine asked if I wanted to add a tip. As if. That said, the scooters were in great shape and it was really fun.

Honestly the most considerate, motorcycle loving staff you could hope for in a rental agency. All the bikes are in excellent condition and they really take the time to make sure you're comfortable and suggest some of the best riding routes. Great selection of machines. Friendly, helpful, professional. The hybrid bikes they rent are 7-speed, which was sufficient for our family of 4 on a leisurely 25-km ride. The store is easy to miss because of the Sotheby’s banners that festoon the building where they're housed. Look for the motorbikes outside.

My girlfriend and I rented a few beauties (Yamaha scooters), last Thursday. Even though it rained that afternoon, we still had a b-last! The gents in the front shop were super friendly. Not only with all of the rental info, but also with any touristy’ questions and solicited advice. Equipment was safe, and pricing was fair, imo. The given “training” was at a level where I suspect they thought you needed (dependent on your level of experience). Highly recommend this establishment, for all your transportation rentals. If you visit Victoria, biking is HIGHLY recommended! Staff here are very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. It was my first time riding a radwagon which is relatively much heavier than normal e-bikes and I was riding with my daughter sitting on the back. They took the time to show me tips and tricks, and safety tips as well as walking us trough the most scenic routes and good restaurants on our way.

I had so much fun riding the scooter around the city. Before I took off the staff gladly provided a route and off I went. I rode for two hours and barely got to see the city. I wish I had more time to ride, but I needed to get back to the family. I would highly recommend anyone to rent and ride if your in the area. I attached some photos of the places I got to see. I had never ridden a moped but I got a good, quick tutorial. The vehicle was fun, safe and easy to drive. The staff were excellent and even went out of their way later in the day to help return my cell phone which I had left in a pocket on the moped and inadvertently toured the city again with another driver. I wanted to rent a scooter, but i changed my mind and rented bicycle. I think it is better for you to rent a bicycle as you can go anywhere with it and you don’t need to worry about parking. Victoria is a busy city with lots to see. You can easily get your way around on a bicycle. Staff members at the shop was friendly and you have different kinds of bikes to chose from.

If you are looking for a place to rent a bike for the day, this is the place to go. The employees are welcoming, outgoing and friendly. The reservation process is extremely easy, fast and efficient. Above all, the price is reasonable and really fair! I expected to pay a minimum rate, but no! They charge to the nearest half hour! I highly recommand this place.

The scooters were great and they'll make sure you feel safe riding it before you hit the road so don't fear if you've never handled one before! Don't forget to dress warmer for the ride because for those that are used to cars - it can get windy out there once you hit higher speeds!

We decided to rent e bikes to cruise around Victoria. These guys had lots of inventory, but you kind of get the feeling that their hearts are more into the bikes with motors. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but their inventory is rather dated. We did have some mechanical issues with the bikes, which the staff did their best to help us out on, but they are pretty limited on what they can do if the company only has worn out stuff. Looking at the scooter and motorcycle inventory, they also had lots and it seemed to be in decent shape( not that I started all of them to properly assess) I would say that they have the right staff in place, if they just updated their bike fleet, this place would be amazing

Simply outstanding service. My fiancé and I rented the Boulevard and unfortunately had some problems with the clutch. A simple phone call and the bike was replaced with the Harley and we where on our way. No hassles, no problems. I understand that motorcycles can have problems, but it was dealt with quickly and professionaly with ZERO hassle. I HIGHLY recommend Cycle BC to ANYONE out on the island with the itch to ride. You will NOT be disappointed.

Definitely a highlight of our trip! Staff where super accomidating, positive and friendly. I had a knee surgery and was on one crutch, therefore I couldn't walk without it but they did not make me feel like I had limits of any sort. Customer service was AMAZING!!! ???? I rented bikes with a friend for the full day, it cost $35 which I thought was a good deal. We learned alot about Victoria and enjoyed the seaside beauty. Only downside is we found the bike seats to be uncomfortable so next time I would test that out before riding.

Called this company this morning to see if we could sneak in a 1hr rental this afternoon and they had lots of scooters ready to go. Quick and easy admin forms to fill out, good mini tutorial on how to operate the scooter, then cruised along Dallas road all the way to UVIC and back. They just got a repeat customer til the end of summer. Nice hour and a bit for $56 bucks ????
