For context, my last 3 cars were a BMW 328xi, BMW 435xi and an Audi S4. All all wheel drive. All great cars. Recently I was thinking about my next move and found myself constantly cranking my neck every time a Genesis G70 went by - but I didn’t know that’s what it was. I kept thinking it was a new BMW until I saw it up close. After realizing who it was, I reached out to Mike at Genesis to see what the car was all about. I was introduced to Josh, given a tour of the car and told I could take it for the weekend. I bought the car the following week - so you know I was impressed. Here’s why: It’s fast. Faster than my S4 - which I had a hard time believing at first. The tech is impressive and simple: heads up display, Apple car play, wireless charging, a trunk that opens when I stand behind it, heated and cooled seats, side mirrors that unfold when I approach the car, and the thing can practically drive itself with adaptive cruise control and lane assist. My point - it had all the tech I was use to in a BMW and more. I had no idea. It even comes with an app (I love apps) so you can start the car remotely, lock or unlock, find the damn thing if you can’t remember where it is and even set the settings for what happens when you start it up. And on top of all that, it looks damn good! It gets better - all the warranty and service you’d expect, but they’ll come to you. They’ll bring you a car to use while yours is in the dealership and bring it back when it’s ready. They’ve figured out a way to make owning this car super easy. So I bought it. It was easy. I traded my S4 and felt like I was getting a lot more car and yep - was paying less for it. Honestly, until now I’ve never really looked outside the brands I was use to. Nobody really gave me a reason to. The car is a beauty. Mike and Josh were super great to work with and although part of me keeps waiting for “the catch”, there isn’t one. The folks at Hyundai have figured something out with this new brand of car and I’m not afraid to say I’m loving it. If you’re like me and likely care more than you should about the logo ornament on the hood, you’ll get over it pretty quick. Your only issue then will be constantly explaining to people what the car is when they ask. And they do. A lot. Thanks guys - glad I found you!

The worst dealership experience ever. I have waited for 15 mins yet there is no salesman come. I booked a test drive and no one told me it's at hyundai's dealership. This is what you called service?

I visited this Dealership after having a negative experience at another dealership. The difference here is remarkable! Josh Beaudreau was amazing! I first went to the dealership and a beautiful G70 Sport was running, shiny and waiting for my arrival. After a short description of the car, I was given the keys and told to come back when I was ready. After 2 hours I returned the car. Josh then offered to bring it to my home and leave it with me for a couple days to fully experience the G70 Sport. This was simply the BEST test drive experience I have ever had! If you have not tried a Genesis vehicle yet...go do it they are amazing! Thank you Josh!

I am a G70 owner from Ontario who reached the first service mileage for my car while in Nova Scotia. I contacted Genesis Halifax with regards to getting my vehicle serviced. Josh Beaudreau referred me to Zach Morrell from their service department, who arranged to meet me at Sunnyside mall in Bedford with a loaner vehicle. At the specified time (10 AM), Devin Deboer was there with a G70 for me to use for the day. Throughout the morning and afternoon, I was kept informed about the progress of my car. Additionally, around 1 pm I was surprised when I was contacted with a link that was a narrated video showing them checking over my car during the service. The car was returned by Devin right on the estimated completion time, looking immaculate on the inside and outside. I am extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism provided by Genesis Halifax. Genesis and their dealerships have worked hard to provide a premium experience for drivers of their vehicles. Based on this experience, I would not hesitate to have my vehicle serviced at any of their dealerships in Canada.

I recently bought a 2020 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport from Genesis Halifax. As I don't live in the Halifax area, all my communications and sales' negotiations were done by phone. The two gentlemen I dealt with were Michael Currie, the General Manager and Josh Beaudreau, the Genesis Experience Manager. Dealing with the sales/service experience first, I found these two gentlemen to be very professional, courteous and efficient. While this would be expected when they were trying to sell you a Genesis, this positive experience continued after I bought the car and they quickly responded to any phone queries I had about the vehicle. It was one of the best sales' interactions I have had. Regarding the car itself, I traded my Genesis G80 for the G70 and up to that time I believed the G80 to be the best car I ever owned. However, based on my driving style and preference, the G70 is in a different league altogether and I look forward to driving it every day. It is quite an impressive machine and as it is the only one in the area I live amongst the many Mercedes, BMW's and Audis, I get a lot of attention and positive comments.

Being the first client in Atlantic Canada to own the new GV80 SUV, I couldn’t be happier. Although a little longer wait than originally anticipated due to COVID, it was well worth the wait and Josh did an excellent job communicating during the delayed arrival of the vehicle. Now that I have been driving it for a few months, what a ride! The safety features, the comfort and the technology are second to none; how many vehicles have blind spot cameras when you turn on your signal, or a camera that shows how close an object is both rear and front! Although I loved my Mercedes C300 I couldn't stop coming back to the G70 when it was time to move into a new lease in the summer of 2018. At the end of the day it was more car for less money. After 1.5 years of owning it, I have no doubt I made the right decision. The car is simply awesome and the service is like nothing I have experienced before. I dealt with Travis Fanning on the purchase and Josh Boudreau since. Both have been exceptional and gone beyond my expectations. It seems like almost every week someone stops me to ask about the car and I can't help but rave about the car and the owner experience. I highly recommend giving them a chance..... you won't be disappointed!
