The problems that these people have caused me for over a year now is crazy. They first gave me the wrong papers proving I owned the car. (They did the same thing with my friend) They were dragging their feet giving my friend the $200 they promised him for recommending us, their mechanics wired the heater fan wrong, causing my fan to burn out during heavy snow. Plus I'm $350 out of pocket. Incompetence at it's finest. Never again.

I bought a Porsche Panamera here a couple years ago. I recently tried to sell it, only to find out on Carfax that the car was in an accident, which wasn't reported at all to me when I bought it from Carson. I had to knock about $5,000 off the price just to get it off my hands. No wonder the sales person, Paul, was ghosting me when I was calling/texting him to try to sell the car back to Carson. In some provinces it is the law to report when a car is in an accident. I guess in Nova Scotia the government just thinks used car salesmen would have some integrity. I guess I'm also guilty of being that naive.

In April, I was shopping around for a new car with no absolute intentions of it happening now. After checking out a few other dealerships, I went into Carson Exports and was greeted instantly with a smile by a sales rep, Mitchell Reid. I explained to him that I had never financed before as I have bad credit and my finances didn’t have much wiggle room to work with. He sat with me and asked me some questions about what I wanted and what I could afford. I explained that I wanted a car with the compactness of an SUV but also that I was a single mom with limited options and financial limitations. Mitchell reassured me that getting a new car was, in fact, possible and showed me all of the options available to me. I told him I’d contact him again in the future when I made a more solid decision. I even contacted him a few more times after before I actually got my car. Even though I probably wasn’t the easiest customer to deal with as my guard was up from all the other places I shopped around to for barely looking at me because of my financial situation or because I’m a woman and I felt taken advantage of. Mitchell's compassion towards understanding my needs and my situation was truly empathetic. I can’t even deny the fear I had in purchasing a new vehicle but again, Mitchell stayed absolutely patient and that’s why I came back to Carson Exports. This time the experience was no different. Mitchell told me to come down for a meeting and test drive what he thought was a good choice of first finance for me, a Nissan Micra. With the compactness of the SUV (like I asked for), great on fuel, and low kilometres! As soon as I laid my eyes on her, I knew this was going to be my new car. As I sat in it, with my hands on the wheel, it even felt like this was my dream car coming true! I sat down with Paul Newman, the finance manager, to finalize the paperwork and 'sign our lives away'. I was told that my car would be ready in a few days with a brand new 2-year motor vehicle inspection, winter tires, and ready for the road. Luckily for me, Carson Exports was quicker than their deadline, and I was able to pick her up sooner! Oh, what a day that was! I would compare this feeling to walking across the stage at graduation... or winning an award. For me, this was one accomplishment that I only dreamt of. Before leaving, Mitchell showed me where the vehicles get worked on and introduced me to Chris Francis, he helped me with information and a quote for an automatic car starter, prompt and friendly. Then life happened. I was in a car accident two weeks later. I had unfortunately rear-ended a person and thought for sure everything I worked so hard for was gone. Luckily, Mitchell whom I called in absolute distress, tears and all. He told me to remain calm and that they would be able to help in one way or another. Mitchell picked me up at my residence and drove me to pick up a rental. We drove all over HRM trying to find a rental place opened as it was a holiday. He then contacted me in the morning with the good news that there was ONE place opened and I could get my rental. He drove me all the way to the airport! Hands down, Mitchell made this nightmare of an experience a lot easier for me being a first-time financer by going out of his way to help support me, even after the sale was made.

I had been searching for a Scion FR-S for months when I saw one show up online for sale at Carson Exports. There was no price and very limited info on the car posted at the time but I went to go take a look at it anyways because these cars sell FAST. When I arrived I was greeted by Mitchell Reid who went over every detail of the car and made me feel 100% confident in purchasing this vehicle. Still, I waited a few days because I had another FR-S I wanted to look at. After weighing all my options I realized the FR-S at Carson Exports had less than a third of the kilometers of the others in it's price range and was about $3000 less than one in the same condition with roughly the same mileage. I called back, negotiated some extras and at the end of the day I couldn't possibly say "no" to the offer they gave me. I went back in the next day to seal the deal with Paul Newman who was incredibly patient and made the business end of the process completely painless. During the delivery each of the team members who were in that evening came to the office to congratulate me on my purchase individually which was one outstanding gesture that speaks volumes for how they treat their customers. I couldn't possibly recommend Carson Exports any more. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thanks for the awesome car!

I must be crazy because I never write reviews for car dealerships, but Carson Exports definitely deserves one! I bought a car from them in June and within a couple of weeks after the purchase I noticed a very subtle noise with the steering. I took the car to them and they found that the issue was related to the front suspensions. I got worried thinking about how much I would have to spend on fixing them, but the owner without any hesitation said - don't worry we sold the car to you and because the problem was present before I bought it we will take care of it. GREAT!!! Fast forward to winter, I gave them a call because when I purchased the car from them they had promised me a set of 4 winter tires (in used condition with 60% tread left). After couple of days I heard from the owner, he said they cannot find the tires they had promised me so he ordered a set of 4 brand new winter tires + steel wheels. WOW!!! This really shows their commitment to go above and beyond in serving their customers. I would recommend Carson Exports without any hesitations. Their cars may be priced slightly more than other dealerships, but it is totally worth it because they really do care about their customer.

After finding a listing for a car I was interested in online, I e-mailed Carson Exports to see about coming in for a look and a test drive. Andrew replied almost immediately, and was very helpful throughout my whole experience. Since I was going to be driving an hour and a half to get there, he made sure everything was in order before I made the trip up. When I arrived, he was right there waiting for me, and showed me around what would eventually become my new car. If I asked a question that he didn't know the answer to, he didn't make something up just to get me out the door, he looked into it and found out. Once I decided to buy the car, I spoke with Glen to sort out the financial details and finalize the deal. They offered me a very fair price on my trade-in, and didn't try to trick me into anything extra that I didn't want. Throughout the whole process, everyone at Carson Exports was really friendly and honest. They've kept in contact since my purchase to make sure everything is going alright, and have even arranged to mail me my registration paperwork to save me the drive up there. I don't expect to change vehicles for quite a long time, but when I do, I'll be looking at Carson Exports first. The photo I've attached was taken by them, and was completely optional. They like to have them for their Facebook page, and it made a great way for me to show everyone online my new car.

Although the sales person was friendly and helpful, trade in value associated to my 2012 Ram Laramie Longhorn very low. Previous day was offered $4000.00 more than Carson Export offered. Drove 1 minute down windmill road same day and was offered again $4000.00 more for trade in at yet another dealership. To put things into perspective, was looking to purchase a more expensive vehicle at Carson, both other dealerships that offered $4000.00 more was actually on a trade of a less expensive vehicle than the one working with Carson Exports. In addition, dealership tried to charge full tax even though my trade in was worth more than the vehicle up for purchase. Plus $500 administration fee. Unfortunately a very negative experience.

Obviously the other reviews were purchased or made by employees ! I called Carson Exports today and spoke with Cam. I asked Cam why one of the vehicles was priced $6000k over Market Price. He hung up on me LOL. So not only does Carson Experts not have 'Great Prices' as one of the fake review claims but their customer service isnt exactly "fantastic" as another suggests. I would give Carson Exports NO Stars but that is not an option. My advice is look elsewhere if you want a FAIR Price or professional sales people.

I recently purchased a 2005 BMW convertible from Carson Exports and this was my first time purchasing a vehicle without being able to see it first hand. I worked with both Scott and Ken on this and they answered all questions very quickly. Scott sent me the pictures I requested and arranged for a further vehicle inspection, to ensure I felt completely comfortable with the purchase. Ken made completing the purchase an extremely easy process and they arranged to have the vehicle shipped to me. It arrived within a few days which was terrific. Stopped here today to test drive a BMW 335i and the staff looked at me as if I was only there for a joyride. They made no attempt to sell me a vehicle and Im a serious buyer. They told me the car was in the shop and basically watched me walk away. They didn't offer any other vehicles for me to try or even seem like they were interested in making a deal with me. Looks like I will be taking my money elsewhere and I was going to pay in cash.

While the customer service was good, the quality of the work was not. I supposedly had brakes and rotors put on in april. I asked for quality parts, and was more then willing to pay for them. I had to have my brakes done again today( less then 10 months later) because they were shot all the way around. The parts were obviously incredibly cheap, or maybe they just cleaned up, and reused the rotors causing the pads to be chewed away. I guess I'll never know, but the whole thing is really confusing I was not a person kicking up a stink about price. The only thing I can think of is it was because of their essential worker promotion, and they needed to cut corners to still make money. I should have known better when the total cost was less then then cost of the pads alone. All in all I guess it was a lesson learned. I got to do my brakes twice in one year, but I now know where to never take my vehicle again.

Came for England and needed a car without the hassle when buying a car in a different country. At Carsons I experienced this. The guys there were understanding and gave good support and advice, especially Mitchell who sold me my new car. He was great on the day I bought my car and has been great since. Always happy to help with any questions. A couple of little things came up with my car that Mitchell spoke to the vehicle mechanics about and came back to me with answers. I had an extremely busy schedule but the fantastic guys in the service centre fitted me in when I had an opportunity to get there, even though they were extremely busy too. They resolved the problems, which were a sensor and I wanted the hand brake tightened. I am happy with my Carson experience and happy with my Nissan. Thank you to all who helped with the happy!

Where do we start? What an awesome experience we had helping buy our son a Scion FRS from Darcy at Carson Exports. We are in NB and not being able to cross the border to look or test drive should make everything more difficult but Darcy was able to make it like we were right there. He walked us through the whole process without a hitch Mitchell was equally as amazing to deal with the financing part of the process. What a dream team! That and to have the car delivered right to our front in Hampton NB is an experience we won’t forget. First class service and experience!

I wanted to buy a BMW 328xi. The car I was interested in had to get looked over by the shop but I was never contacted afterwards. I had to try and get in touch with the salesperson myself even though he said he would contact me. When I did speak to him he said he couldn’t give me an update as the car would be in the shop for a couple days. When I drove by the lot the car wasn’t even in the shop the same salesperson was showing it to a couple. I was shocked. Even if I didn’t buy that exact car I would’ve bought another one from the lot. But maybe the salesperson didn’t think women can buy cars on their own. I bought a beautiful 328 xi somewhere else. And my husband loves it so much we are looking at buying another one. But it won’t be from here. That’s a sale of two BMWs. Just saying

Their service dept especially Buddy has been outstanding!! Buddy is one of the most professional Services Manager’s I’ve dealt with in any service dept over the years!
