I had a very negative customer experience dealing with this place. Although they are cheaper than the bigger companies this is a classic example of you get what you pay for. What really upset me is that This place does not operate ethical what so ever. I rented a 12 Passenger vehicle I put on exactly 110 km all day and I filled up 25.9 L of fuel upon my return. The owner claims he had to fill an additional $38 in fuel as he claims that it was short. Because of the business I do I rent these type of vehicles regularly and I have never seen any vehicle that consumes as much fuel as the owner claims it does.Unfortunately because he has my credit card on file and can pretty much do what he wants I really have no recourse and I would like to post this review to warn any would be customers to be extremely cautious if you choose to do business with this place. It would be much worth it to deal with a bigger company even though they may be slightly more expensive because at least you’re dealing with the legitimate entity. I also recommend that should you choose to do business with this place do not return the vehicle after hours as they will claim that something is damaged or missing like they did with me. I had to pay an additional $45 for a piece of the floorboard that allegedly was missing. Unfortunately I cannot recall if it was there or not there for again I had to take the owners word for it. It is probably wise should you make the mistake of dealing with this place please go over the whole vehicle with a cell phone camera for your records.

I had a very good experience renting a car here. They picked me up from my mechanic's shop and dropped me off back at my car when the repair was complete. The Corolla they rented to me was brand new, clean and had more options than a base model. The price was more competitive than most of the other car rental companies on Dufferin St.

I had a pretty good experience with CarRentalPlace. Rented a 12 passenger van. I think the price was one of the lowest I could find on the net and the vehicle was very clean and low kms (33880KM). customer service was also pretty good. I'd do business with them again for sure. Only complaint I had was the wipers didn't do a good job of clearing the windshield (probably old wiper blades).

Our friends and family just wanted to take this time to thank Frank and his crew at the Car Rental Place. The entire experience from getting accurate quotes, the thorough delivery inspection and the return was seamless. The van itself (late model Toyota Sienna) was very clean and drove buttery smooth throughout the vacation as it was well-maintained. More importantly, unlike most other rental places, e-mails were responded to promptly and the final bill was lower than we had anticipated with zero surprise charges. Never left a review for a car rental place before, but we had to make an exception here as a small token of our appreciation for the exceptional experience. Without question, we would highly recommend the Car Rental Place as it is now our go-to place for any future vehicle rentals!

I’ve been renting 12 passenger vans from here twice a year for a few years. Every experience has been good. A quick call to set up the reservation, the vehicle is ready right at open, and it’s always clean and well maintained. I can drop off after hours. The people are good to deal with. I recommend the Car Rental Place.

The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Staff is incredibly rude. After giving them over a month and half of business I was treated with the worst service when I returned my car. I would never deal with this mickey mouse company again. Stay away!! Far far away.

I visited the car rental place to rent out a Suburban for the weekend. Great car, great service and really competitive prices compared to driving to Pearson Airport. The Suburban is one of few cars that you wont find at conventional car rental outlets.

Terrible experience, they lie and tell you that your credit card company can’t confirm your address and when you call your credit card company back to confirm this they have no idea what this company is talking about. They pick and choose who they want to rent to and will give you all the excuses in the world why they “can’t”. Would not recommend at all!

Got into first vehicle, it would not start, battery dead. Second vehicle drove 50 kilometers, brakes begin to grind. Called rental place, response was:" the previous customer loved it, guess everyone is different". Maybe, just maybe it's an unlucky occurence but it sure left me to wonder about attitude and quality of customer service. Fabio, however was a gentleman.

This is worst car rental. Yesterday I borrowed one car but at that time they didn't tell us like one day for only 200 k.m so today they charged $55 extra when I told him nobody told about this k.m restrictions Yesterday so he told me you didn't get attention Yesterday thats not my problem we are 3 people. They are cheater, lier. Please don't visit this car rental shop.
