Ok we didn’t have terrible experience but it wasn’t that amazing either. Pros: they did drop us off at the airport after we turned in the car; the car worked fine and got us around the island and around BC, unlimited mileage, quick check out process Cons: long wait to pick up our car (about an hour and we arrived on time for our scheduled car pick up).. not. Ideal and could have missed our ferry; no one looked professional or had a name tag so we didn’t know who was working or who could help us out while we waited outside for our car ; we also had to take a train from the airport to the closest terminal/station and then wait to be picked up by a shuttle to drive over to the car rental place (and then wait another hour); it was super loud and noisy in the office and I had no idea what I was signing or paying for because I could barely hear; we had pre arranged for a Honda Civic and ended up in a smaller cruise and they had clearly given our civic away to someone in front of us Overall ok place to get a car

Car rental anounces itself as an airport facility yet it is "close to the airport". Pickup took about 20 min and they wouldn't bring all my party (4 people) because they said we were too many, thus had to leave my elderly parents at the airport and pick the car up. At their facility, they insisted on me paying full amount even after showing car was prepaid. Took about 15 more minutes for them to confirm car was actually prepaid. Then requested for us to wait outside and the car "would be out just now". After waiting more than 10 min in the cold went inside to ask about our car status and they insisted we should wait outside. 10 min later they started moving the cars in the front, took the car that they were giving us and brought it to the back to clean! Finally after more than an hour of waiting we got a car, which by the way was not the one we pre-paid for: 10 years old, with the alarm of check engine on, and bits of the plastic arround the windows falling down. Driving it, realized car had problems with its throttle. In general not a good experience.

These guys are great. Hands down they have no competition anywhere at any price... And their prices are the best! They make renting a car so easy I don't see any reason to own a car if you don't need one everyday The rental agent is excellent guy geared to work in the best interest of their customers... At least me for sure. I can't imagine them not treating everyone as well as they treat me. Keeping a car longer is never a problem and the price per day has never been increased on me when I do that. They never try to sell me added insurance after I let them know I'm never going to buy any. And upgrades are generously provided if they have cars sitting around. I can't imagine being a happier custom shy of them cleaning my house while I'm away. Do not hesitate to stop in for a car!

I booked online and paid the price on full to guarantee an intermediate SUV. When I arrived they informed that they gave up the car to someone else because I was one hour delayed. The reason I was delayed was because I was waiting for more than an hour and half on line up outside their office. They were very rude and insisted in not giving me an alternative car although I paid my non refundable rent. At the end they gave me a very small car and refused to pay me the difference. They were also not treating people the same, while I was waiting a guy came and because they speak their language, they upgraded his car for only $15/ day. When I asked for the same deal, they told me you pay $100 a day extra. Not recommended

Went there about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday morning. Rude staff, are not clear about all the fees and the insurance, and if they make a mistake renting your car to another person, they try to rent you a cheaper vehicle for a higher amount. Do not recommend this place.

I had to get a bigger car in Vancouver to accommodate a sudden addition to our party and the rental company we had reservations with wanted twice as much $$. West Coast got me the car I wanted (it was excellent) on short notice at almost the same price as the smaller car had been with the other company. Being a stranger to the city I was surprised (and stressed) to find they were farther then expected from the airport but they responded to my (somewhat frantic) phone call immediately, were reassuring, and got me to their place promptly at no charge. A lot of people were waiting (no surprise at those prices), and the office was small (again not surprised - low overhead), but the guys worked through us methodically, helpfully, and calmly. Unflappable and friendly throughout. They said in my return I could drop the car off at night if need be, but when I got there close to 6, they remained open a bit after 6 to let me get gas and fully check the car in. I was impressed with the car, the price, and above all, for this elderly and stressed out stranger to Vancouver, their customer service.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. When I arrived at the location there was already a slew of customers waiting for over an hour for their rental. When it was my turn, I was told that they didn’t have my reservation, even though I had it on my phone. Just avoid this place at all costs.

Very unprofessional service. I got there yesterday because I had a booking for a Range Rover Velar. They just didn't have it. The guy offered me a BMW X5 instead of the Velar for the same price but the BMW X5 is cheaper than Velar and it is listed on the website. When I asked for the same price, he said he couldn't make it any more. He didn't explain anything about the insurance. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE.

It's a small company, so not a lot of staff, slower to get to the car......some hidden charges. Its satisfactory if u you don't have high expectations. If you are usually more comfortable with larger name company , stick with that.

The agents were a blessing to me, especially during my grieving period when I had to take the emergency trip out. They were so accommodating and understanding. Their services were impeccable; their rates were super reasonable!!! They certainly did *not* take an advantage of my situation by stating that my request was “last minute, therefore, the price is higher than if [I] would have booked in advance”, like some other rental companies did. From my interactions with the agents in this company, I can say without a doubt that they have integrity (so rare to see these days)! ***** I would recommend this company to anyone who asks for vehicle rentals, and I’ll certainly rent from this company again when I’m in town. We very much enjoyed our luxury car rental for the road trip (range rover sport) which we loved very much - I'm considering buying one at the moment which is why we rented. We had a customer service issue with front desk however Kam, the manager contacted me to clarify and make things right which I appreciate. Thank you for that.

They were so disorganized. Many people waiting in the lobby frustrated for pick up and drop off because they were running late, hadn't printed contracts, didn't have vehicles cleaned, etc. They wanted to charge me an extra $2400 for the weekend to upgrade my vehicle when I asked if they had any other vehicles I could get in right away so my toddler didn't have a meltdown in their waiting room from missing nap.

Great little car rental shop, the vehicle was very clean, brand new and the representative from the shop picked us up from the airport terminal . One suggestion is to give better description on Expedia or booking.com website to explain potential clients that the rental shop is NOT located inside the terminal To avoid any potential delays On the other hand, we had to return our car one day early due to government increased Covid measures but we did not receive refund for one extra day.

Booked the car a month ahead but rented it to someone else for higher the day of, leaving us scrambling to rent another car for higher price elsewhere. The agent was using the same tactic on another customer while helping us. Just telling us to call Priceline because they did not have any cars

The Single worst rental car experience I’ve ever had! (its a shame there is no option for zero stars) We booked a large SUV for my daughter’s 12th birthday party, I came in the day before to speak to the gentleman at that counter and to ensure that we had the proper vehicle and that everything was in order. I asked him at that time where the car was and he said it’s not here but it will be here in the morning. (PS It was a very dank and unimpressive rental location) I came in at the reserved time the following day and presented my credit card and drivers license. I mentioned to him that the car wasn’t anywhere on the lot and he said “oh it’s downstairs in the garage” for safety -I wasn’t aware of any garage or even if there was a garage but I didn’t dispute it at the time. After several minutes he looked at me and says “bad news my friend , I can’t rent you this car”. I was flabbergasted and asked him why, and he said “because you have some ticket violations on your driving record”. I mentioned to him that my drivers license is valid, my credit is good and everything was in order and, that I’ve rented cars , literally, all over the world. I also mentioned that I’ve been driving for 40+ years and was bound to have some tickets for moving violations He still refused to rent me the vehicle. I explained again that it was my daughter’s 12th birthday and I have to be somewhere within an hour with an SUV vehicle. He said no he wasn’t going to rent me the car and told me to leave the premises. I’ve never heard of this nor have any of the other rental agencies that I spoke to you, I believe the truth is that there really wasn’t the vehicle available that i reserved and used this ridiculous excuse to vindictively embarrass and anger me. PS I was able to rent a (better) vehicle from Enterprise in Noprth vancouver an hour later, they were most efficient and professional!

I just use them once and the service was friendly, BUT, they cancel my reservation a few days in advance 3 times!! Specially for long weekends when I have everything planned! They cancel to highly increase the price of the reservation, that’s incredible rude and unprofessional, for now on, I’ll prefer to book a car with a professional company, doesn’t matter that isn’t in Downtown.

This is a great local car rental option. Prices are better here than the chain stores and the service is on par. They will either pick you up from the airport or will reimburse you for a cab ride which is only about 10 minutes from YVR. They will also drive you back to the airport after your rental. Great selection of vehicles from budget conscious to high highend vehicles.

I would steer clear of this place. They're affiliated with Economy Car which are absolutely brutal. The local rental office takes zero responsibility for any screw ups. Steered to call Economy Car and after 10 days, finally received a response. Still fighting for a full refund. Not worth the effort.

6:16 T 40 40% Nightmare!!! Waited at the Airport for an hour, kept acting like they couldn't understand me and hung up over and over again. Tried to scam the people in front of me, said they ordered last minute.....Expedia confirmation meant nothing. Told them they had to get an SUV and it would cost an extra $70/Day. Then they tried to give me a smaller SUV then I ordered, which I wasn't having. The vehicle I got was dirty!! Definitely not Covid or Clean approved. Windshield cracked in my vision....oh well they said. "Expedia" WAS NO HELP!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

It was not a pleasant experience. On their website they said they would rent car for young drivers with L, or for road test, that's why I decided to go there. And I waited about an hour to get the registration done just because I m a learner. And they absolutely didn't say that I need to do those on the website. As a young driver I understand that they have to charge a bit more. But the charge is too high compare to other companies, about $80 Higher, and with insurance. Other normal companies would have $2000 deductible, and they have $5000 deductible. Even though I drive safe, but they are just unreasonable on pricing. Then they called me up somehow and told me that I have 3 violations under my name, so I had to run to ICBC to check, made me feel very anxious. But when I get to ICBC, they said I have nothing under my name. So I m not sure. Very weird company. Well it ends up that they did check if there are violations under my name, and yes, with the same name and same birth year. But the fact is I wasn't even know how to drive at that time. So it was not me. And without date of birth and license number. How can they just say something like this without the solid proof. And the fact that they called me that day and asked me why I gave them a bad review and said "oh, you had 3 violations btw" really throwed me off. Horrible experience. Don't come here.

Would not recommend. Saturday morning rental reservation, only one employee, took almost an hour to get our car. While our car was being retrieved other customers stood at an empty counter for over 20 minutes with no one to help them. We paid $75 extra for a GPS to be in the car. It was not in the car. When I asked about it the employee tried to get us to use our phones instead. We had to insist as we had already paid for it. He gave us a really old GPS that barely worked and couldn't even sit on the dash. When we returned the car the same employee was rudely arguing with another disappointed customer on the phone. Terrible customer service. The cheapest is sometimes cheapest for a reason. My advice: find a rental car with a more trustworthy and professional service.

Absolutely beware of this rental! It is a scam. You will very likely be stuck at the airport without a car. I rented a car a week in advance and arrived at the airport, waited on the phone for an hour. I don’t even have words to describe how terrible their customer service is. In the end, they did not have a car or any cars available. Dealing with this company is worse than dealing with scam marketers. A terrible way to start a trip.

Good: The guy at the counter drove me back to the airport after I dropped the car (I actually paid for it so it was expected, but instead of waiting for the driver one of the 2 guys at the counter took the van and drove me to save time). Bad: I rented a car online using their website, and when I arrived at the counter they told me: sorry, no more of that car, but we have that one left but it's the most expansive. It cost me just shy of 3 times the rate of the initial car I reserved online. Also, they just add a bunch of mandatory fees. All of that seems common practice with these types of companies, but overall very bad experience.

Rented this vehicle over the internet due to a family emergency in British. Columbia Canada. I called and reserved a car, using my debit( $20.00 daily charge), all of my information was recorded including my card details. Upon arriving at the severely off airport location...$30 taxi ride, the clerk arrived after hours ( $30.00 charge)... I had rented and had to give All of my details once again...I once again requested and was charged for a FULL SIZE car. I was tired and stressed out and took inspection and delivery in the location that was so dark that the clerk had to use his cell flashlight to point out all of the scratches and dents...there were many. He then stated that the gas tank was not full...so he turned on the ignition and showed me the fuel level and stated that it needs to be returned at 3/4 as any overfill would Not be reimbursed. As he did this the clerk also showed how the gauge cluster was dirty ( covered in a dried slime- see photo)...and said we don't know what it is...and can't seem to clean it. It turns out that the windshield was also covered in the dried slime (not able to drive with it on there) I had to stop at 3 different gas stations to get something that I could clean it off with. I had rented a Full size car ( Camry etc)...Was CHARGED for a full size car... received an intermediate ( Sentra)....this car was Horrible...it had the power of a dead chipmunk ( I was traveling North in BC- up mountain passes and such)...the car lurched and raced (IN CRUISE CONTROL)...then did the exact same thing under manual operation. This car felt so unreliable that I hoped it would start/ run each time I turned the key. The brakes had a MAJOR WOBBLE when braking ( I had to come back down the mountain passes). When trying to start from standstill or merging into traffic- the revs went Extremely high then slowly grabbed ( like riding a manual clutch)...Did I tell you this car was a deathtrap! When I went to drop it off @ 5 AM... another $30 to drop near the airport. This company operates under many names ( to possibly confuse consumers?)... VANCOUVER RENT A CAR, ECONOMY RENT A CAR, MEX RENT A CAR, WEST COAST RENT A CAR.... Do not rent from these companies...You and your Families safety is at risk!

40 min wait time just get the car. When I went to pay the agent there said there was an extra 20$ Fee per day because I had a G2 license. At no point when I reserved the car was this communicated to me, I asked agent to respectfully waive the fee but he said it was because G2 drivers are a risk and they’ve had some problems. I’m 31 with a clean driving record and felt that this was an unfair blind side cost. I understand that policies are in place but honestly was surprised when they slapped me in the face with this.

Got stuck with no car. Had to change plans . Because all other companies are fully booked…. Don’t deal with Indian monkey business. Pure hayyenas. Enjoy

I have to tell you, I am not certain I have ever written a bad review, and yet, here we are. This was by far the worst customer service I have experienced as a local here in Vancouver. Period. My trip out of the city was abruptly cancelled and I was the owner of a rental car that was going to be unused. I called the centre who refused to offer any kind of adjustment to my rental, charging me in full. But it gets worse... I obliged that this was the commitment and so I had my unused rental car in a garage for 3 days. and a $750 deposit in their hands. I returned my car and at checkout, the clerk said he would have to keep a photocopy of both my personal ID as well as my credit card. Both of which they would have had record of at purchase. I demanded my photo identification back and literally had to take it out of his hands even though I called the head office and discussed that this is not lawful. I always hope that people are just doing there job as best as they know how, but at the same time, whatever this company knows, must be updated because this service was so unfortunate and unacceptable.

I occasionally visit Vancouver for business purposes and was recommended by an associate to check out Rent A Car Vancouver to rent a car for my trip. I usually rent with other more known companies that give me horrible service and make the renting process extremely difficult. I cannot emphasize enough, the service here is phenomenal. When I called in to ask about car options, they were extraordinarily accommodating. They actively made me feel like a priority although I knew they were extremely busy. The whole renting process was a breeze and was a great first impression. When I came in to pick up the car, I was met with a friendly face and everything was ready for me. The paperwork, as well as the term and conditions were explained thoroughly. I ended up renting a Chevrolet Impala and it was noticeably well maintained and kept. I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Overall, compared to pricier companies from which I’ve received crappy services from, Rent A Car Vancouver’s service stands at the top as the most outstanding rent a car company in Vancouver for me. I was only here for a couple of days and the car gave me no trouble nor did the renting company. I had to share my pleasant experience!

The wait time to pickpick the vehicle took over an hour. The same when we arrived to return the vehicle. Also note there is a mask mandate policy for all businesses in Vancouver yet staff in the rental office were not wearing them.

Worst experience from car rental in my life. Firstly the staff took close to 1 hour to get to our booking then tried to hit us with fees more than the cost of the total rental even though no such conditions had been listed on the booking. On top of all that... they would not refund our booking. Total scam business.

Terrible. Do not rent from here. They deceive customers into getting insurance ("mandatory" even if you have it). Their customer service is appalling (30 min wait to even see a rep for a scheduled pick up). Vague contract, little communication to let you know what's going on. Would give zero stars if i could. Used their rental service in February 2020 and had quite a surprisingly bad experience, I would recommend avoiding this company. Their customer service is of poor quality and they ended up charging us DOUBLE the amount because of out of province penalty and fee (which they told us only AFTER signing the agreement, once we were in the car, engine running). An overall disappointing and very expensive car rental.

Due to the pandemic they seemed short staff as we had a long wait in the rain before receiving our vehicle. The vehicle itself was clean and good priced. Warning ... they pre authorizes your credit card for $750 above and beyond the cost of the car ....

This is an honest review from what I’ve experienced renting a car in this company. - Since I booked early, I was given a car a bit faster. - The attendant and the manager are nice people and professional during the signing in. - Incidental deposit is really really high. - I booked for Camry and was given a Corolla. And the Camry’s price from my booking cost did not changed instead it’s goes up. - I left with a gas tank 1/4 less full and thought they will charge me less but nope. Make sure to fill before returning Their pricing is pretty much okay. Additional per day rate to US is not bad. Overall this company is okay. And will rent again from them.

Even if I had a reservation, it took them an hour and a half to give me a car that was different from the one I had reserved. Also, it has been 3 weeks since I gave back the car and I haven’t received my deposit yet! I had to call them multiple times to actually get a refund and they kept telling me that they will call me back and they never did. I am still waiting for that call and that refund!

Literally, the worst car rental experience ever. Yes, I saved some money, but waited 1.5 hours to checkout and get my vehicle. They didn’t have the car size I ordered – they upsold the customer in front of me and gave my SUV to him instead. Didn't make any effort to resolve my issues - wanted me to come back the next day and spend more time waiting. Definitely won't rent there again.

Had a wonderful experience working with this company. Everyone was both friendly and helpful! They even helped us get a cab to the airport. When we returned the car and it was inspected on the spot for damages- which was nice so we knew that there would be no "hidden" fees like past reviewers have posted about. When the vehicle was found to be in good condition, we were repeatedly assured that no additional charges would be made which lead to great peace of mind!! Would certainly recommend this company to a friend! They really were very helpful and pleasant! We will use again if we find ourselves back in Vancouver!

Very poor service. I paid for range rover and they were giving me highlander. Zero professionalism, wasted more than a hour. They were trying to charge $100 for insurance per day when I already paid for the insurance. Car was wet from outside when they gave to us. Plus they took a 15k deposit for no reason.

I've rented from other car companies and often been very frustrated. Rent A Car Vancouver is so easy to work with. Their employees are courteous and helpful. Sometimes you pay a bit more in rates - but not much - but it's so, so worth the hassle-free experience.

They gave us the wrong car, there was also many people in line complaining and waiting for long periods of time as we did also, the vehicle given must have been in a accident because it "shook" after a certain speed and shaking all over the windy roads around Vancouver is not good. If I knew then what I know now I would never have dealt with this place

I found the service to be good and the staff were polite at all times. I received the type of car I requested in advance and they did not push additional insurance, a larger vehicle or other services ($$) on me. The only area of improvement I would suggest would be to streamline the rental process or improve communications when staffing levels are unexpectedly lowered (short staffed). I witnessed one time where customers had to wait up to an hour for their rental car to arrive. Backlogs do occur everywhere but keeping customers updated would have helped the situation.

It took 2 hours to pick up the car. It was dirty, with several scratches and we found family pictures in the visor. It was someone's car. We paid for a premium car. The only reason I did not go with one star is that there were few cars available at the other rental agencies.

Their $280 rental turned into over $1000. They have hidden fees which they aren’t clear about. They take HUGE deposits because their business model clearly relies on scamming customers with hidden costs. DO NOT GO HERE. I guarantee they will ask for a $500-$3000 deposit on top of the rental. This is because they intend on keeping it. Watch out. Read the other reviews about hidden fees and be careful what you do with your money.

Very bad service. I was very disapointed. We booked a car from 8 am, the associate showed up at 8:15am after we called. We got the car at 8:45 am. The guy disappered for 20 min. He just went to wash the car, can you believe it? How can people be so irresponsible? The car was wet and still quite dirty inside. We didn't get the car that we booked. Who cares if you need to be in location B at specific time? They also wanted to charge us extra $15 for dropping off the car at the airport, even though when we booked it online, it didn't have that extra fee. Honestly, not impressed. Avoid this place.

0 stars if I could. There is no transparency on the website or with the employees. You'll be hit with fees you aren't prepared for. At the front of the desk it says to bring ID, Card Payment, and your insurance policy. They said they can't rent out a Porsche with your own insurance so you have to pay for theirs which was an extra hundred. Anyways, I ended up paying the full rental until they hit me with a 20K preauthorize hold. 20 freaking thousand. Where the other competitors don't even charge that much for a hold. This business is looking to take your money and never giving it back. We asked if we could use our family members card and said OK. They did refuse to rent the car after we brought in our relative who consented to using their card for the hold. The payment was definitely good to go but the employee decided to ultimately cancel our whole reservation wasting everyone's time. In the end, I'm grateful they refused us because we got an even better car from a company with professional and efficient service. This company will screw you over, blame it on you, and call the cops if they feel you are being rude to them. Unprofessional and horrible service. If you have a special event and you decide you want to rent a car for it, this isn't the place for you.

Unprofessional customer service! I decided to rent a vehicle from them for two days because on their website they were open to N drivers as well as people without credit cards. I was open to paying a fee for having an N as well as paying a larger deposit for the vehicle through visa debit or any other way. I received an email saying the car I wanted wasn't available those days so I called in and they asked for my information and upon learning I had my N and was planning on putting a deposit through debit, the person on the phone kept repeating no we do not accept your car reservation and he hung up on me after I asked to speak with a manager to clarify. I called again and the next person was more helpful and said he would call back and he never did. I was never rude, nor raised my voice or anything. Expected better, but they don't seem to care in the slightest.

AVOID AVOID AVOID. I feel sorry for the management company to have an employee like the one I dealt with. ( 9:30am Sunday Nov 7). Rude right from the beginning! When someone is rude to me I ask questions why they are asking the same question 4 times or why they are doing something because I feel I have a right to know. I never got an answer to any of my questions just ‘I don’t know’. Then after trying to establish the car rental for 1/2 hour the agent says your Drivers Licence says “do not rent” in the computer system. I tried to find out details of what this meant as I know I have an impeccable rental record & driving record. But was not told anything. I asked if there was another rental place nearby , he said no ( & there was one just 1/2 a block away where I had NO PROBLEM renting a vehicle and the agent was extremely professional and friendly). Your agent then said I could go to the airport to rent a car (from downtown Vancouver!! ) . I took this as a complete insult and was extremely offended! Would never recommend this car rental to ANYONE!

They tried to charge an absurd pre-authorized damage deposit of $20,000. What a joke. It seems they release the cars based on what they see and feel of the customers once you walk through the door. If they dont want to give you the rental they will try to push you away some how. Then they go and look into driving history online to see past motor vehicle charges? Why not do that from the beginning of the booking and save everyone the hassle of even coming down to waste time. As soon as they cancelled our car you can hear them telling their co-workers to send the rental to richmond for another customer. Im surprised they're still in business. Good luck, you'll need it.

We had a good experience with Limitless Car Rental. We took a taxi there from the airport, but then found out that between 8am-6pm they are willing to shuttle to and from the airport. So that's what we did when we dropped off the vehicle. They did not have the car I was hoping for, but upgraded us to an SUV, which I was thrilled about. Vehicle was clean and in good condition. And I am posting this after receiving my damage deposit back - which they do explain will take a couple days. I thought the staff were kind and explained expectations well. All in all, I don't really know what more to expect from a reasonably priced car rental company.

Horrible service. Would give it 0 stars if possible. I had made a reservation online and everything was confirmed. When I arrived to pickup my car they could not find my reservation and said they had no cars available. They will proceed to try and tell you you HAVE to buy their overpriced insurance even if you have insurance though a credit card or alternative company. The customer service rep was rude, slow and on his airpod the entire time, very disorganized and never found my reservation even though I had physical proof via email and phone. During the time i was waiting (over an hour) two customers returned their cars noting that the interiors were dirty at the time they received them. I'm glad that I did not go through with it as I feel there would of been much more hidden fees and shady business practices. This company operates under many names so be careful and take note of the address.

I rented a car March 15th and I haven't received my deposit yet (April 14). Every other car rental I have rented from has returned my deposit within a week maximum. Now I have to spend time on phone calls and possibly paperwork to get my deposit. Very inconvenient. Definitely not worth the convenience in location. In addition, the car was very damaged and dirty upon pickup. I had to take at least 20 pictures to document every damaged part. My friend got nauseous from the bad smell in the car. I was also charged for entering Washington State form British Columbia although the policy on the website said that there were no fees for entering this state. They would not let me rent the car without paying extra despite the fact that I brought this up. Of course, they know I need the car right away so I had no choice but to pay extra to pick up my car. It has gotten the point now that I will have to file a dispute to get my deposit back since calling them has left me nowhere. Don't rent here, it's not worth the poor car rental and wasted time.

They had the highest deposit I’ve ever heard of. It took forever for our car to arrive. An overwhelming odor of fragrance dissipated after about 30 minutes. Not sure what comps there are in BC. Elsewhere I’m used to being able to hop right in the vehicle rental and zoom away.

I would definitely give this establishment a high rating. I rented two really excellent, more high-end vehicles on two separate occasions. Both were immaculate and in great shape. On a separate note, I will also mention that the first time I rented I did some slight damage to the passenger side rims. I thought I would lose my whole deposit, but they kept the costs pretty low for the repairs. I will always go back to this place. Very cool selection.

We booked a car by online and paid in advance. Then they tried to charge my credit card $2500 for just deposit. The price for the car was $250, I've never heard anyone who charge ×10 cost only for deposit. I couldn't afford because my credit card limit is $2500, then the staff told me to call customer service to cancel, he also said we can get all money back but they haven't refund me yet. I don't even know if they really refund. NEVER RECCOMEND.

Great service from this company! They gave the lowest price out of all the other rental companies I visited. Had a few issues with the first car, but they gladly gave us another which proved to be much better. Respect the guys that work there and you will be given excellent service. Will definitely rent from here again if I require a rental car.

I wish I could give this 0 stars if I could. The customer service was absolutely atrocious. We had a car reserved 2 months in advance for 9am. We arrived at the pickup location at 10am only to hear that our car had been given away. The representative that we spoke to was rude, dismissive, unempathetic, and unhelpful. At no point in the booking process did it say the car would only be held for 30 minutes, but the representative continually used this as an excuse and said it was our fault for not being on time. He was unable to show us where this policy could be found except on his company computer. They had my phone number for alerts and did not send a warning that the car was being given away. Clearly, they wanted to give our car away for a better price to someone last minute. NEVER USE THIS CAR RENTAL SERVICE! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED AND DISAPPOINTED AND WORST OF ALL, DISRESPECTED.

Absolutely the worst rental place in Vancouver! I booked with Expedia the day before, this place didn’t have my reservation ready. I had a girls trip planned to Whistler a month ago, so we rented a car here. I've had a couple of bad experiences with other small rental companies, but this one was without a hitch. We arrived just before closing and Navis and family were accommodating and efficient. We rented a Ford Edge that was a couple of years old, but it was in great shape! The car was clean, smelled great and ran smooth. This car was surprisingly good on gas and we actually returned it with more gas then it started with. The price was also very reasonable and they took their time to explain the procedures to us. We'll definitely be back, so we'll see all you guys again soon!

Avoid renting from Downtown location even if the initial price much cheaper then at regular car rental companies. If you arrive 40 min past your booking time your reservation will be canceled and you will be charged almost twice if still willing to take the same car. This is what happened to us and messed up badly our vacation plans. We ended up renting from Avis because of the bad service and attitude we got from front desk person. Rented last year, but writing this review to get other travelers be aware.
