I went to rent a car here and I can't stress enough how quick, honest, and outstanding the service was. The people at the front desk were very friendly and efficient, and made it their priority to get me going as soon as possible. I loved the car's state and it seems like they take great care of them. It was spotless and it felt like a brand new car. Not to mention the wide variety of models they have in their lot. I felt like I had a wide range of choice with luxury service. I also forgot my wallet in the car and I thought I had lost it elsewhere, but I received a phone call from them informing me of the misplacement. I was very grateful, and with that I would undoubtedly recommend this business to anyone.

Helpful, profession, and accommodating. Rates are reasonable, and cars are new and kept in good condition. Reading reviews of car rental places across Vancouver, I came across this one after noticing the reviews were overall positive, especially compared to most other places across the city. I'm glad I went with this one, because the price and quality of service were excellent. Highly recommend!

I called this place and after giving all of my information over the phone and clearly stating that I needed the vehicle for later in the same day I was asked what type of vehicle I wanted, my response was I prefer an SUV but I will take anything available. The guy on the phone laughed and said sorry there are no vehicles available right now!! Not only was I disappointed but it was a wasted 10+ minutes on a phone call that didn’t need to have happened. I live a block away from this place yet I will never rent a car from here

This company messed up with my trip on Feb 10th 2019. The day before I booked one midsize car with winter tires using their web site. It didn´t say anything about calling them to confirm availability. When I went to their facility to get the car, they told they didn´t have it. For the next available car I'd have to wait for 1 hour. The lady working there told that I should have called them before to confirm, however, there was no instructions in their web site or confirmation e-mail. They offered me a SUV but I would have to pay the double amount and return the car in the evening. I decided to wait for 1 hour as they told me, however, they called me back almost 1 hour and a half later to say the they didn´t have the car. They offered me $ 20.00 dollars discount at max. I just decided to go to another company close by. Do not trust this service. Not flexible, not good customer service. The main point, do not offer a service that you can´t provide.

The car was new , reliable, I spend only 30 dollar on gas for an entire weekend . This people were super honest . I forgot my sunglasses in the car, and they call me immediately . I am very happy I chose them instead the other car rental businesses plus I spend at least 35% less Thank you guys , good job

I don't even want to waste my time to reivew for them but I want to leave my review for other customers to be aware. Maybe their service looks ok but the owner is SOOO RUDE!!! She yelled and pushed to us to rent a car whatever they give us. We asked compact size and a lady who helped us at the front said it's available but the owner yelled at her with their own language and she said they don't have it. (wtf???) I think their positive reviews are for the employees. Not for the owner.

donot rent from them they have lots of sneaky charges on your rental final invoice, plus they dont check the car inside out and just give it to you and later in my case i found out i didnt had proper tire or its tool in the trunk when my tire was flat and i was stranded for a whole day calling for towing and they didnt pay for it... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ...just being friendly doesnot count do your job properly and check the car before giving to customer to see everything is in place and order... its not low cost .. its a rip off - north vancouver location

I just showed up and said I needed to rent a car for five days and they gave me a shiny 2020 Corolla. The price was decent (I paid more because I'm under 25) and the lady at the desk is super relaxed. The car was like new and drove like that too. 10/10 would rent again.

for the last two months, we rented different car from this location. the iwners are very nice and friendly, you love stay and chat with them. not only they present a high level of customer service, also provide tou with a professional advise regarding the car and rental option. Ariana himself walk me through the car inspection and unlike any other car rental, he confirmed all previouse dings and dents on the car. car was clean and like a brand new, the gas tank was full. over the phone, they easily extended the rental with no hassel. and finally the return was so easy, and as they promised their price was lower than any other rental car. For sure this location will be our firat stop in future to rent a car. Thanks Ariana and the team.

Lo-Cost is a no-brainer for visitors to Vancouver. They have the best parts of being a family owned and operated small business and are so good what they do it's astounding.

I can't more highly recommended this place. Normally i would avoid places like this in favour of the big brands but i couldn't have been more wrong. Personal service and a very new totally clean car. They even took me back to the airport. Update May 2018: still amazing service and prices to match the big companies. These guys are really great

Just go to ENTERPRISE!!!! Today I had to borrow car for my road tests. It cost me $116 to borrow for 2 hrs! They charged $25 for a "road test fee" - Enterprise never charged me anything like that although I told them I'm going to take a road test with the car. Also they have no lower rates if you're going to borrow a car for less than 24 hrs. Enterprise does... Just did not have time at the moment to say no but I totally DO NOT RECOMMEND them!

Lo-Cost Rent-a-Car in North Vancouver certainly went the extra mile for us when we rented a car from them. I had many, many questions for them which, if they didn't have the answers right there they went and found them out. They have shown an interest in me as a customer beyond just making a sale. When you go in there you get a sense of camaraderie among the employees - it seems like it's more than just a job and usually when people are happy at work they tend to do good work. That's certainly what I experienced. I can highly recommend them and from now on they are our rental company of choice.

Very nice, friendly and helpful people. Much better than dealing with the big rental chains. Cars are always clean and exactly as advertised at competitive rates. If you're arriving by seaplane or Helijet and need a car on the North Shore it's easy to pop over on the Seabus and pick up your car at Lo-Cost rather than dealing with the awful downtown rental outfits, bridge traffic and lack of taxis.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Rented a car for two days, within hours of the returning I realised I’d left a personal item in the car. Management refused to comment on if they had my property, were extremely rude and tried intimidate me, and refused to then return my later calls. They are blatant thieves and scammers I couldn’t have had a worse experience
