The owner was flexible regarding the terms of my booking, which was appreciated! This is also the only EV rental in the Lower Mainland which allows drivers aged 21-24 (for an extra fee).

I rented a model 3 standard range this weekend for a joy ride. Everything from the booking, to the pickup, to the drop off was exceptionally easy. I have rented many vehicles in the past and expected a ton of paperwork to sign during delivery. I also expected to be upsold and insurance and BS. None of that here. No drama, just confirm your DL, get a 5 min orientation of the car and then take off. The vehicle was freshly washed outside and COVID sanitized inside. My wife and I had a ton of fun on our 7 hour cruise, coffee and dinner and hangout during the day. The owner Jason was a also a cool guy to just chat with with and provided excellent service. He's a bro. Would come back again next time for the model X rental.

(first review ever btw) Not your typical car rental place, (Way better). These guys go above and beyond to give you a good experience. Rented a model 3 for a few days and drove up to whistler. I had never been in an EV or Tesla before and i was curious about autopilot but the one i rented did not have it. So when i returned it Jason took me out in another vehicle that had autopilot just so i could experience it. Thanks! was not expected at all. They also charge a lot less then the other options for EV rentals.

We missed our flight and arrived several hours later. Jason was waiting with an beautiful, spotless BMW I 80. Amazing, fun car to drive! Had a scheduling issue before our return. My experience renting a Tesla Model 3 from zero car was seamless, I chose to have it delivered to the address I was staying at and Jason brought it right to me. The car I rented was a brand new Model 3 with only 350km on it when it arrived at my AirBnb. The prices at zero car are very reasonable and If you're looking to rent a Tesla in Vancouver ZeroCar is the place to go!

I travel often and car rentals are always a loathsome experience - however, I can truly say that my experience with Jason and the Zerocar team was the best car rental experience I've ever had. The team was extremely communicative throughout the reservation process and pick-up was seamless and friendly (Jason's a Tesla expert, definitely chat with him before hitting the road!). I was extremely lucky to get a brand new Model 3 for my rental which was sanitized and cleaned for departure. Once you drive a Tesla, you truly can never go back to another automobile - I will definitely be choosing Zerocar again!

I had the worst experience at this place. First I couldn't book online because their online form has poor logic and set the age limit to over 25 instead of the stated 25 and over on the website. After calling the manager 2-3 times and still being unable to book, I went in in person, where the manager edited the form and made me book online anyways. I am not sure why he didn't edit the form when I called the first time and why I had to call multiple times and eventually go in. The worst part came after I returned the car, the manager charged me an over mileage fee ($100) without letting me know the conditions of the over mileage fee. Be careful, because when I signed the contract he did not give it to me in full nor did he give me a copy (my inexperience with renting a car caused me to fall victim to this). He asked me if I read the online terms because they are the same as the paper copy. The online terms do not state the mileage limit per day, only that there is one (and yes I read them multiple times before booking). When we picked up the car we told him that we were driving to Whistler, and he did not warn us about the fee so I thought we would be under. When I called he informed me of the km limit, which is way under going to Whislter and back in a day. I only rented the car for 24 hours and paid an extra $100 from this lack of transparency.

What at thrill! No need to go far, the car ... becomes the trip. Our Tesla was beyond fully loaded-top-of-the-range. The nice car wrap drew a lot of attention from all the other Tesla owners wondering why they didn't get this nice paint :) We also had a blast with all the features, from Autopilot to the more hidden ones, like the random farting sounds. The kids loved the car so much but will only sit now in our Toyota mumbling that this car and slow and sucks and why-can't-we-just-get-tesla-pretty-please????

I'm a car enthusiast. I love renting interesting cars, but mainstream car rentals still do not offer electric cars. Even their exotic car departments (which I use quite often) still don't have them yet. Actually, I'm looking to buy a Tesla. But Tesla dealer test drive session is very limited. Here goes ZeroCar! I've got the exact model what I was eying for with exact same configuration and color. Took it for a day ride to Whistler just to feel range anxiety, Supercharger experience and all other concerns I was researching and worried about. It was so pleasant ride!!! Tesla is awesome! Big thank you to ZeroCar allowing me to try their Tesla to it's full extent!!! Yet, I went slightly over the daily mileage limit, but they seem did not charge me (as of yet). Just to make this review fare and plausible: this car rental business is not for the average driver who just needs to move around for cheap. To be honest, you can rent gasoline car twice cheaper, even taking into account cost of gasoline. Also, ZeroCar has a limit on mileage. Anyways, it's worth it. I highly recommend anyone who is curious about EV cars to try ZeroCar. Moreover, whoever is looking to buy Tesla MUST rent it from ZeroCar for a test drive.

I rented a model 3 for a week while I was in Vancouver and had a great experience. EV rentals was super easy to deal with and very flexible when arranging a late pickup to match my arrival time. The car was super fun to drive also :) I would definitely use them again next time I'm in town.

If i could give them 6 stars i would. I emailed about renting the model 3. I got response right away. I called in the morning to get a model 3 and they said yes and i could pick it up around 1 pm. They got the car ready. I went inside signed the papers in less than 5 mins. They gave me a very good turtorial on how to use the car. How to charge it. We drove the model 3 to whistler and back. I was slightly over the allowed limit for km and he didnt charge me. Also they were very flexible on the 24 rental time. I got there at 1:30 pm and i had to return the car at 2pm the next day. It was one of the best experiences of my life and plan to rent from them again. The staff is great. I know they only do EVs but i wish they rented all kinds of intresting cars. Great business.
