Never renting at Hertz again. There are no 0 stars cuz that’s what they would have got. Tell you one thing and change the story when you get there. Nickel and dime you price changes every time you talk to him. Also was gonna a rent a van with a stone chip in the windshield not really safe and the tires left something to be desired. Walk about was fine all flaws were addressed but I was not looking forward to bringing the van back who knows what the total price would have been. Thanks Albert for nothing walket a few doors down the street much friendlier MUCH BETTER deal and no changes on the contract

Albert makes a point every time we come in to ask us how we are and no matter how long it is between rentals he always remembers my boyfriend and I. Where other car companies make it difficult to rent cars Hertz makes things as pain free as possible. I can confidently say that you will certainly have a good trip if you rely on Hertz for your rental!

I did not get a car with GPS, even it was reserved. So they borrowed me standard hand-held GPS, which I had to return before the trip to airport. For a trip to airport they printed me a google map itinerary. I still get home, but... it would be much easier with "reserved" GPS

Customer service is good and the vehicles are well kept, but I rented a vehicle for 3 Days and was told that I should fill up the gas before returning. That is a normal request in all my years of renting vehicles. What I could not understand is that the CSR asked me to also fill up at a specific station near the Ontario office and to also present a receipt to the office after doing so. I think that the request was the most idiotic and inconvenient policy I've ever heard. So my question is, what if I'm in Ottawa or Windsor and I run out of gas, should I get the vehicle towed back to the specified gas station to fill up before returning it? Otherwise, I usually get good service.

NEVER rent a car from here! They provided me with a car with a flat tire and I took it on the highway which was terrifying so brought it back immediately to replace the car. Now they are saying it was my fault almost two weeks after the rental was returned and telling me I have to pay for the replacement. The agent failed on his inspection not me, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Terrible experience! I will go over both the good and the bad because I am fair- we got the car fairly quickly it was in ok condition and almost a full tank of gas all pros when renting a car. Now we had to extend our trip about 8 days past the return date and they ended up charging us triple the daily rate we paid for the original rental! With no prior notice even though we had let them know we are going to be late! Customer service was zero help at all i was on hold for over an hour. Enterprise gives much better service! Save the hassle and rent elsewhere.

I had to call to find out where the employee was as there was nobody in the office. The vehicle was very uncomfortable and it took a while to get my deposit back and never did get the full $200. Was also charged extra with no details as to why. Never again. All they care about is money not their customers.
