Please guys verify Kms you signed in paper with actual Kms in the car. They many many errors in their car trip meters and systems I rented car for 40 hours. I drew total 450 kms and they charged me for 1250 kms. They are not able to find their mistakes even so far. Worst car renting experience ever.

I would give them a zero if I could and I am filing a complaint because of their agent's horrible attitude. I arrived at Toronto airport, called them on time and they said the shuttle will come in 20 minutes later. I waited for 30 minutes, no one came. I called again and this time this lady picked up the phone, I think her name was Karin or Corrina, I am not sure. She said she was busy with a customer and i needed to get an uber to get there. I told her this was unacceptable and she said if I am so unhappy she is going to cancel my 10 day reservation!!!!! I got an uber asap, got there and she said because of my attitude she has canceled the car!!!! I told her she couldn't do that since I had a confirmation. She then said ok then, we have no car and I refuse to honor your booking. I took a picture of their full parking!!!!! Stay away from this place. It is a SCAM
I wanted to write a good review for this place but my experience was just rather frustrating compared to other car rental options in Toronto. I had to wait 60 minutes for my car when I went to pick it up in early August, 2021. The owner, Farhad, was a friendly guy and chatted with me while waiting, but he used our conversation to probe me about my trip and charge me hidden fees related to my travel plans. When I returned the car, he tried to charge me again for a service that I had already paid for and asked me to send him my receipt as proof. Days later, I realized I had left a hat in the rental car, but Farhad did not return any of my calls or emails asking him about it. UPDATE: I thought I would never have to think about this ordeal again, but almost three months after my rental they sent me an toll receipt with the most ridiculous admin fee I've ever seen. This is on top of them never replying to any of my calls or emails after the rental. Don't rent from here, and if you do, cancel your card when you're done.
General rental experience was good initially. They forgot to put updated insurance sticker on plate; had to go out there to get it. Worst was that I had a $21 Highway 407 charge to pay later and they charged a $25 admin fee on my credit card. Outrageous!

DON'T DO IT! I went to pick up my rental car at MCO airport. The shuttle took over 45 minutes to show up (supposed to be every 15 minutes). I tried calling the office for over 30 minutes and no one picked up. Finally, I get to the rental counter and the rude representative said I needed to show them an insurance binder showing I have current liability and collision insurance on my policy - and that showing a simple insurance card would not suffice. If I couldn't provide this, they'd charge me $25/day for insurance! There were 4 other people in the rental office and they were all as ticked off as I was. We compared all of our rental agreements and this ridiculous "policy" was not written on any of them. This company is SHADY! Do some research on them. They changed their name from Signatures Car Rental to GreenMotion. Check out all the complaints on BBB. Bottom line, do not rent through them.
This is Green Motion's mode of operation: they saturate the car rental aggregators (Kayak, Priceline, etc) with unusually cheap car rental offers out of YYZ. At the time of rental, they take $1500 to $3000 from your credit card as a "deposit" and then they simply don't give it back. You're not a local; you're probably not even Canadian, so good luck getting your money back, no matter what condition you return the car in. Ask yourself - if *every single* real car rental company ... like Hertz, Budget, Thrifty, etc. are charging 2 to 3 times more for the same car and you've read even 10% of these reviews, why on earth are you still going to rent from Green Motion?
Omg these people are the worst!!!!! I’m still waiting for my deposit which is $120 and $30 I still haven’t and received it and were almost in august. I am going to report them to the credit bureau and see what happens from there they don’t respond I tried calling emailing them their phone is disconnected so what the hell is going on? But I am going to get to bottom of this!!!!!
Would never use again. Toronto location Car: Was not the size I booked online Had been in an accident and bumper was ripped up No snow brush like other rental cars No snow tires Service: it's a one man show. Which means the person shuttling you to and from airport (in their personal cars) are also the check out people. I had to wait in the parking lot for 45 min to return the car while no one answered the 2 different phone numbers, so I didn't even know if I had a ride back as I had waited past their closing time. Both staff I used were not friendly, one complaining I had used a broker to get the car and that doesn't give them any information. The second was just plain annoyed I was there and she had to drive me to airport. They are also more then 10min from airport. Not worth the few dollars you save.

Could not of asked for a better experience. Our Kia was brand new and was a perfect ride for our week of travelling up North. We arrived earlier than expected (7 hours) and Pablo in the office helped facilitate this change in plan. Everyone of the staff we met were helpful and gave the impression they wanted to ensure we were happy - frankly I don't know what more they could of done ! I would definitely use Green Motion again and will be doing so when we visit the UK in a few months. Richard N.

My parents rented a car from this company this past week in Toronto and they were absolutely shocked by the lack of professionalism that they experienced from the moment they picked up the dirty car (that didn’t even have winter tires!) to when they dropped it off en route to the airport when the service counter people made them to go get the car cleaned before dropping it off before returning the car. My mom called me and was so stressed out by her experience and the only thing I can do is write this review so other people can save the headache, stress, safety (no tires in a Toronto winter!) and go elsewhere!!!!
THE WORST RENTAL COMPANY EVER. Do not, I replete do not rent a car from this company. We waited over 2 hours to get a shuttle, we’re extreamly unprofessionally talked to on the phone and upon arrival had another rude experience with the front desk. Also the car was dirty and they didn’t give us any copies of the paperwork and didn’t clean out the car after we told them ex) garbage and things from the last renters. Take your money somewhere else people!
Total scam. Got to the place after I booked online to tell me I need 300k worth of car insurance and I had to take the $30 a day in toll recovery. Now I'm. Home I see the charged my card. Spoke to Luis and he said he the owner. Im calling the city and Bbb. Total scam. This was in miami

This car rental place is located inside the Kia Dealership with no obvious signs. Car Rental was generally great but the service could be improved. When booking it indicated that shuttle from the airport was included but only after receiving a confirmation of booking it noted at the end of the email that shuttles were not operating due to Covid I am guessing- had to shell out an unexpected $23 on a 7 min uber ride. At the dealership we waited long for anyone to help us and our paper work was not done in front of us. Our part on not checking our contract but in our confirmation email it was stated unlimited mileage but only when returning the car they had only assigned us 600kms. They were nice enough to waive it for us since we are from out of town but still not sure where this all went wrong. Also very hard to reach someone over the phone as we were trying to extend our rental for one more day and had to make 5 phone calls to speak to one representative and information was not even recorded; the person on the phone told me he will call me back with rates for extending but never called back. When we returned the car the representative did not even know we called to extend. Will be booking with a more known car rental agency next time for ease and peace of mind.

The WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. First, the location is inside a Kia dealership and the staff had to redirect me three times until I found the office (no signage), and the guy wasn't even there. I waited 15 minutes and he stormed in as though I was inconveniencing him. I asked about the free shuttle service because it's at least 15 minutes from the airport, which is a fortune in taxi/Uber, and was told (very rudely) that they haven't had that for a long time. Then asked me about whether I had insurance - which i fine, but his tone was very rude. He asked me for my ID and credit card and then informed me the policy is to put a $1000 hold on my card for the duration of the rental - I asked where that policy was and he said "that's just what it is", I asked to see a copy of it and he said "do you want me to write it down for you right now?" getting very indignant with me. I said I would like to see the policy - and he threw my cards at me and told me he would not rent a car to me. I had my young daughter with me with two huge suitcases and a backpack, and had to find a last minute rental elsewhere because we were left stranded at this location. My advice: RUN THE OTHER WAY and rent from a more professional/reputable company.
Cheap off airport rentals at the best price of 15-20 per day before taxes. I used it for two months. They also give brand new 2019 Toyota corolla.

DON'T EVER RENT A CAR HERE ; these people wrote 3000 euro off from my creditcard as they claim we damaged one of their cars. No evidence, so this is theft ! Working with a laywer to get the money back .

Straight to the point ... The pros: they have cars they have a shuttle (BUT see the cons section for more info) they have an address they have pleasant staff members the cost is low (but, see the cons section) The cons: -The car, at least ours, was damaged in the rear. Thankfully we snapped pictures of the vehicle prior to leaving as I suspect they’d probably claim we damaged it. - $1k deposit IF you decline auto insurance, which is NOT mentioned at booking AND is no where to be found on the paperwork AND when/if you sign their $1k receipt, no document explains WHAT the $1000 is for. - they do NOT honor their business hours. We arrived at 8:39am AND no one was there. Note: they open at 8am. I should mention at our pickup, I also confirmed that we’d be dropping of earlier due to our return flight to CA. - the shuttle; well the obvious answer is seeing as they weren’t opened AND we had to drop keys off through a mail box slot, there wasn’t a shuttle on the premise to pick/drop off .... we had to pay extra money and have a Lyft take us to airport - the staff, including the owner have difficulties explaining and answering questions about their policies and just “why” something is being implemented; they also struggled voiding a transaction for us on their machine, and they’ve been in business for over two years. We were on the premise for one hour before the credit card merchant was able to reverse the charge. - the time AND money! You might save funds on the initial booking, but the cost will far exceed (ie.taxi, deposit, shuttle absence and waiting) in the long run. My husband and I will never rent from this company again — in America or oversees.
Horrible deposite. They froze $1000 and took over a week to get it back
Stuff were nice but watch out their potential extra charges. 1) I went there 15 mins earlier than the appointment time, then, they were trying to charge me for extra daily rate because of this... watch your bill when you hand CC in. 2) there was a little bit dirt on the lower part of the car when I return it to the shop (not crazy dirty, just some dirt). The manager started taking pics when we walked around the car without explanation/questions until I asked why, then he explained they will charged me 25-60 dollars for cleaning, and he showed me the terms on the contract. Fortunately I still have enough time before the flight take-off , so I drove the car to the carwash next door and spent 9 dollars there. I wonder what if I didn't ask what these pics used for? I would have to pay for extra 25 ~60 bucks for this car wash??? I never been charged by other car rental places before , the basic external cleaning usually included in the deal, i dont know why this company doing business in this creepy way... I didnt lose money from them but I definitely wont use them again .

We booked from them the one stating unlimited mileage then we go there they told us we have to pay an extra $300 and $700 deposit which is really ridiculous and total cost us $1300!!!!! Can you imagine paying this for only 3 days? No body will help you and they put you in a spot where u feel like you are being scammed and you are losing money anyways! Be careful before you book with these guys! Such a shame. 0 customer service and very unprofessional!
Rented a Kia Rio for nearly a week at their Toronto Office. I waited until my credit card deposit was refunded to post a review as some of the reviewers were complaining about not getting their deposit back. It is fairly easy. Go there, check the car on the spot, make pictures, tell the people about the faults so they can note it on the form. Make a picture of the form as it has the faults marked (they send you that exact form electronically but without the marks - keep that in mind). Also look under the car (front bumper for example). Keep the receipts from the deposit which will range from I guess 1000 - 2000 CAD, depending on the size of the car. This is normal practice for rental companies by the way. When you return the car don't rush to be transported to the Air port. Make them look at the car, make sure they close the contract so that their deposit is being refunded within 2-3 Business days. Check after that period if that is the case. I placed my order through a broker that hat all the insurance covered so I had to sign a waiver that I don't need their insurance - normal practice. Everybody and any company representative can have bad days. I understand that and I was lucky this time - could have gone wrong like in the past but you just have to cover your butt with pictures and forcing them to look at the car before you leave the premises so they can't put damages on your card afterwards. The toronto office seems to have quite a couple of cars, over 100. The one I had was in perfect condition, clean and did the job. I also rented a GPS (5 CAD/day, max 25) because I'm from Europe and don't have a data plan. But it was only acting as a backup as Google Maps worked perfectly with their offline maps function.
They were very nice and professional. I got a brand new Kia Soul. Really happy with the service and quality of car. It is located inside of the Kia dealership, but there is good signage once you get there. Some of the reviews complain about them not having a shuttle from the airport, but they are pretty clear that there is no shuttle since COVID. (I’m not 100% sure, but i think I saw something about a shuttle service when ordering through kayak, if so it would be a good idea to update it..) All in all a great experience!

This is the WORST CAR RENTAL SERVICE in entire Toronto Area. Reasons: 1) I made reservation to pick up the car at 7PM as the rental office closes at 8PM. I called them a day earlier and told them I will be at airport 7PM sharp, they said our office closes at 5. I told them on your website your office closes at 8PM so I made reservation for 7PM. They said sorry we will cancel your reservation if you don't come before 5 PM and no refund will be provided. 2) I left office early and after reaching at the airport at 4 PM and despite telling them to be there at exact time and pick us up at the Airport, they never came. After 65 mins a shuttle arrived at the airport and when I told them to why are we not leaving they said "You are not the only customer we are waiting here for". We waited another 35 mins for until the shuttle was full and then we headed to the rental place which is like 20 mins away from the Airport. 3) They gave us a cheap and dilapidated car which was different from what we reserved. 4) When I told them I don't need any insurance as my Credit card covers car insurance, they asked me to provide all the information about my insurance company and I told them I don't have that they said please email it to us and game me an email address. 5) Once the car arrived, it was already dark outside they asked me to check the car using my phones flashlight. I did not complain and checked if they had any dents, scratches, etc. 6) When I came back to return the car, they were like why are you here? I asked what do you mean I came to return the car? They said but you extended the reservation for 3 more days. I completely lost it and I told them what do you mean? I never extended. They said but you called us and we extended and they charged me on my credit card too. After lot of shouting and complaining they agreed to refund my amount. THE GIRL WHO WORKS THERE TOLD ME "I NEED TO BE CAREFUL AS MY NAME IS VERY COMMON". I told them don't put this on me THIS IS YOUR MISTAKE ASK FOR SOME CONFIRMATION NUMBER OR EMAIL BEFORE CHARGING ON SOMEONE ELSE'S CARD. 7) They checked the car and because it was dark outside they said we will have to check the car when there is sunlight as they could hardly see it. When I told them but during car pickup you asked me to use flashlight to check the car, why don't you guys check the car now with flashlight. They said it was your mistake you checked the car in the dark. Overall, PLEASE DO NOT RENT THE CAR HERE SPEND SOME EXTRA BUCKS AND SAVE ON ALL THE HEADACHE. EMPLOYEES ARE VERY VERY RUDE
We booked a car with Green Motion through Economy Bookings. When we arrived at the airport and called for a pick up, they never answered their phone. We took an Uber to the store and found that it was closed and we had no one to contact. Later in the day I called back and finally talked to a staff member. He said they had no record of the booking and since their earliest booking was not until 10 am that day, they did not open the store at their posted time of 8 am. He offered no solution. Perhaps the issue is also with Economy Bookings (who did not answer their phone in English when we called for support), but I would not recommend either company.

I booked an SUV with Green Motion via Argus Car Hire, only to receive a sedan and be told SUVs were not available. I requested a refund for the difference in price between the two types of vehicle, and after a month of back-and-forth over email and telephone, was told that because they had provided a free GPS (which I did not request or need), they would only provide a $30 euro voucher for a future trip. Their website states that a customer will receive a refund if they do not receive the type of vehicle they have booked. Poor customer service and dishonest business practices - avoid. EDIT: after almost 2 months and 2 weeks from Christmas I have finally received a refund for the difference in value of the downgrade in car.

Personnel is nice but some of them have trouble with English. Most of all, the first car we got had steering problems, had obviously been in small collisions before, and was dirty. They changed it at no extra cost, but we had to drive back there and the company is far from the airport. They also tend to close at times during the day and you have to call them. I would recommend going for bigger companies directly from the airport to avoid problems. Hertz, Budget, etc. are worth the extra money.

Total Scam!! This happened few months back.Had booked a SUV through credit card. My flight was delayed by two hours due to bad weather ,which was beyond my control. When I reached at Toronto airport and requestd for shuttle, the guy arrived after half an hour. When I reached there, the girl was very rude and said she can't give me the car that I had paid for as I was late.When I had paid in advance, the car should have been there even though I was late. Then after a lot of request, another gentleman at the location helped me. Took me almost an hour to get the car.
I traveled all the way from Calgary to find that these guys are a complete scam. They told me on the phone that $500 is all that's required as a deposit. when i got there the guy at the front was demanding $1500 deposit!!! the cost of the entire rental was $344. When I was explaining myself, THEY CALLED THE COPS ON ME WITHOUT REFUNDING MY MONEY!!!! I'm definitely going to take them on. IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND CARE ABOUT YOURR FAMILY'S SAFETY, DO NOT RENT ANYTHING WITH THESE GUYS...THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS.

pick-up was ok, but person on the phone was difficult to understand. Our car was not washed when picked-up nor was the interior clean (the back seat was full of sand, the booth was not clean, and on all door cards there was some sort of spots of greas that shined more than the rest). When returned the car everyone was agitated, there was not ceck of the car with me to look if everything was ok, not inside or outside and they didin't let me sign anything when returning car ... . I did a full car wash of the car unside and outside and they didn't notice. Only fuel level was checked and was ok .
Very tidy car, looks like a brand new. Comfortable shuttle bus from and to the airport. Friendly and helpful personal. No waiting at the checking desk. I would recommend for everyone.
this company is very unprofessional. doesn't provide shuttle because of COVID. but doesn't clean their cars; does it make sense?. first car that they gave us still have chocolate stain on the dash and a pack of empty gum.very very dirty. they replaced it with a second car that still has a pack of sauce from a Happy Meal kids meal. the receptionist was apologetic. I won't be a returning customer.
Highly disappointed in what happened AFTER the car was returned. The car we rented was fine and we returned it in excellent condition. When we rented , they took a one-thousand-dollar payment from our credit card as a “hold” in case we got into an accident. (We are fully insured, by the way.) But, they have never returned the thousand dollars. I phoned and e-mailed, and was told to contact our credit card company to see why the payment hadn’t been refunded. The Credit Card company told me Green Motion had never contacted them about a refund. So now, my Credit Card company will credit me the money and pursue the matter with Green Motion. So, is Green Motion just incompetent in that it can’t refund the “hold” money, or does it think people won’t notice they didn’t get their money back and forget all about it? I’m not forgetting and have already told a friend who asked for a recommendation for a car rental not to go with Green Motion!!
Made a reservation for a rental car and paid. Upon arriving and calling the number as they tell you too. I was told that they didn’t have any more cars and there was nothing else they could do and hung up.
The process was really simple. When I got there I got a brand new car and the staff was really nice. I would undoubtedly recommed and use Green Motion services again!

i rented a car for a week and a half. The process was simple online and the rate was extremely cheap that i was a bit skeptical but when i arrived , the transition to get the car was also smooth. I got a brand new 2019 corolla . Drop was just as simple. Will definitely book again

SCAM!! Horrendous customer service, I was constantly dismissed when I followed up to get my closing agreement. I am now forced to deal with this company through my credit card. I will be filing a dispute claim to get my entitled money back. Booked through airport rentals and contracted my service request to Green Motion, returned the vehicle 4 days early and lost every penny. Claimed that - the early return policy does not warrant any refunds - and after reviewing my signed contract agreement this was stated NOWHERE! Save yourself time, money and headaches, DO NOT USE THIS MERCHANT!

( They said If you want cancel, cancel by your self to Expedia.) 4. They gave me free up grade car Collor to Camry but, very dirty inside. Empty water bottles under the seat, dogs hair anywhere, food scrap between seat stitch I think looks they never clean up this car. 5.They charged different amount and charged twice. When I was getting car they gave me receipt amount was $205 but, same day they charged again another amount $ 744.58 !!!??? If, you don't want get trouble I recommend choose major company.
The Green Motion in Fort Lauderdale, FL is a complete scam. I got a car rental through them through Expedia and the company wasn't clearly listed on the confirmation email. When we landed, no one at the airport knew who they were. When I called the phone number in the confirmation email, it was just some strange automated message, that abruptly ended. I googled other numbers but when I called them, one was completely disabled, and the other led me to an actual human, however he asked what terminal I was at so they could send a shuttle (they don't get you from a terminal, they're supposed to get you from the rental car part of the airport which is completely detached from the terminals) and when I told him we were at the rental car area, not a terminal, they just put me on hold and no one ever came back to talk to me. I called back several times to try to cancel my reservation, but they wouldn't answers, and then finally when they did someone just yelled at me in Spanish. Luckily my credit card company is great and gave me my money back, but this is definitely not how you want your vacation experience to start. Maybe the one in Canada is better, but the one in Fort Lauderdale is a scam
AVOID!! They did not have the car I reserved and forced me to pay for an upgrade!! Greasy practice for sure! I was already at their shop and had no choice but to pay it, and they know it!! I sent emails to both Green Motion and to Argus Car Hire who did the booking.....I got the big ignore! My rental was in June 2019.....AVOID both these companies! In response to the reply to my initial post: Thank you for your reply, but I am still very disappointed on two fronts. First, being ignored and having to use social media to address this is frustrating. Secondly, offering me a $25 credit after taking $55 from me is far from acceptable. If this truly an "anomaly" as you stated you would credit my Visa the $55 you had no business taking from me. This is not as much about the $55, but more about the practice and way in which you took it. Thank You.
Rented a car for a low price to be picked up in Cancun. When I arrived in Cancun, office was closed and the phone numbers that had been sent to me to call upon arrival were disconnected. A local told me this is common practice for them to overbook and not honor their bookings. Would recommend either going with the big names at the Airport (although I go up-sold by the guy at Hertz when he told me I could end up in jail if I didn't take the insurance they provided and had to pay more when he didn't tell me to fill up the gas), or looking for local bookings away from the airport, arranging a transfer ahead of.
Great Company to deal with! Wont find prices to this company. Clean, and fairly new vehicles. I had booked a small car and was pleasantly surprised to have an upgrade at no cost! Very nice staff to work with, Pablo explains all the regulations, and details that entail to rent a car, so you don't have ANY surprises. Unlimited mileage is a great option for some packages when renting a car if you plan to do a lot of driving. I have rented a few times from here and I continue to do so as mentioned, you wont find any cheaper with what they offer in terms of packages for customer satisfaction. FIVE stars all the way.

PATHETIC SERVICE i took the car and its front mats were already super unclean. i took the car, drove it around A LOT because it said unlimited miles. i gave it back in a rather unclean position. the rental car guys charged me CAD 10 dollar extra for cleaning which i agreed to. Then they sent me ANOTHER invoice of CAD 56 !!!! and said the car was way to dirty...as if they keep finding out how unclean the car is. I think this is their way of making up for the initial low cost cars rental. Oh ALSO i rented a Corolla, they gave me a Yaris. So as you can see these guys are crooks. i will NEVER take a car fro m them again. so if you are trying to get a nice cheap rental, i would recommend you get it from the better brands like Enterprise, Hertz etc
I ordered a car , my flight was delayed and I was late for couple hours but still the rental company kept my resirvation, picked me up from the airport and gave me a nice car , I really liked the service definitely will order from them again , the guy that served name Pablo , A very nice and polite guy .

Avoid green Motion. This company offers prices below market, then when you get there they will say “no, actually Expedia (or whatever you used) doesn’t communicate well the coverage you bought...” and they will pressure you to get a coverage that will be many times the price you paid. I rejected because I have an insurance through the credit card, but then they retained a deposit of £3,600. When I returned the car they said that the car had a a damage. It was a spot that was so small that cannot even be perceived in the pictures we took. I’m convinced it was there when I collected the car. I had taken pictures but the spot couldn’t be perceived In the car neither before nor after. Then they offer me to accept a charge of £300. I denied and then they say they will keep the deposit of £3,600 for 28 days until they make a decision. You’d better go for one of the known companies.
I would highly recommend green motion. I have rented a few times from them and have never been disappointed. When I booked the first time, I booked a small car and at the time of pick up I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade at no cost. The staff is very friendly and know their position very well in order to provide great customer service and to protect the customer when booking and renting a car. (meaning they know the terms of contract in protection the customer and no hidden fees and explain in details the speculations of the contract in order for a car rental to go smooth without any surprises. Please keep in mind that when you use services like the 407, it is at the customers expense and will be charged when the bill gets addressed to green motion, so dont be surprised , it's not their fault , they do warn the customer beforehand, i had no issue with this and it's understandable. The cars are very clean and gas is to full capacity, I travel alot and as i always need a vehicle i have always come back to Green Motion Mississauga locaiton, because THEY ARE BY FAR the most cheapest and reasonable car rental place you will find. others have wanted way way too much, and i have traveled at high peak time and it's still the most reasonable, They offer a shuttle service to the airport and a pick up service when you book. They offer unlimited mielage or a mileage cap that is still by far reasonable. Pablo is the manager and handles his position very well in managing this branch and will clearly please with any concerns or requests at his best. I booked a car back to back almost being over a month and he was able to accommodate my needs in making sure as a customer i was content and happy. I would always recommend Green Motion to family and friends, or anyone that is looking for a professional pleasant and reasonable place to rent a car. just might add, their cars are always clean and ready to go when you book a vehicle and never have to wait. Def a great place !

Stay away from this car rental company! Very poor customer service but moreover, they have no proper procedures . I literally had to beg for refunding deposit and more over paperwork. Make sure you take pictures of odometer, gas, possible damage etc because you will not get paperwork. Do not take this people at face value!
I rented an economy car for three days and I was surprised that I got a brand new Kia car which was fast and comfy . The service was friendly and efficient. Overall speaking, my entire can rental experience was great.
Horrible service!! Very unprofessional! Please do yourself a favor and DONT RENT a car from this company. I rented a car from here for 10AM and upon arrival the door was locked even though office hours were 8AM onwards. There was no one to greet us. I called customer service and the person who picked up said that he is dropping another customer off and then will be there with me in half an hour to 45mins!! I had to pick up the car at 10AM and leave since I had an appointment for 11AM. I have never come across a rental company that is so unprofessional. I was freezing outside and when I told him that I needed a refund he started shouting at me and said that it was not his fault. Ofcourse it was his fault. There were hours of operation written and I expected someone to be there. Not a door closed! They are also not at the airport. They are a 10min drive from the airport. It is a scam. Dont save the extra bucks to go here. It is not worth it
Ok car but will not use again. They asked where I was going and I mentioned that I would be driving in mostly Ontario but also New York State for a few days . They immediately applied a $10 / day cross border fee for the entire 17 days of my rental. Upon complaining bitterly about this, they agreed to reduce the fee, but I was still forced to pay an additional $110 before I could drive away. So be warned - this is not the company to use if you plan to drive into the US. Also, you can count on an extra 1 hour at least for pickup and return compared to the airport rental companies because of the shuttle time and waiting time.
Do not come to this place. Be aware of this blatant scam, you will end up overpaying a huge amount of money for a service that cost until 400 dollars less with other companies.
Our flight was delayed 1 hour and when we arrived to the airport pick up we waited for over 1 hour and 20 mins for the shuttle, which was said said arrive every 15 mins. After several phone calls trying to get ahold of someone we were finally picked up and brought to the car rental company. At the point they then decide to inform us they gave away our car because they have a Very strick 2 hour window policy (something never mentioned in the phone calls prior to this). After several mins discussing our options the women at the front desk told me I didn't have have rent with them....note I already paid $500 non-refundable deposit! The most saddening part of this whole situation was there was another group in the lobby dealing with same exact situation! I later called to request a refund for the outrageous upcharges which was met with further disappointment. Apparently the company doesn't have to follow their own policy's (picking up customers from the airport every 15 mins) but won't make exceptions for their customers. Extremely disappointed with this company and how they treat their customers. I will NEVER rent from this company again.
THIS IS A SCAM. Do not waste your time or money. Please use a trusted Vendor. You will overpay and feel like like you are being scammed through the whole process. This service left me stranded and made me miss my work appointments. Please thing again!
I had a great overall experience with Green Motion! I will definitely be back. Excellent customer service from Farhad he explained everything about the rental with care. I had a Mitsubishi Mirage a small car and it was excellent on gas perfect for my trip. I'm so glad I found this place they totally deserve 5 stars!! Thank you Green Motion.
Found a ridiculously cheap price for a one day rental. Was a bit leery of the $1000 pre-auth on my CC when I picked up the car - have my own full insurance and brought a copy. Car had 18k km on it, excellent condition, and the staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. $1000 charge was gone 2 days after I returned the car. I had no problems or incidents with the vehicle, so can't speak to what might have happened under other circumstances. I had a great experience, no concerns, and would definitely use again. Even let me take shuttle to hotel just down the road.
