Paid extra to drop off at this location as I was told it was open on the bank holiday, only to arrive to a completely overflowing car park with all of the shutters down. Central office had no idea they were closed, and wasted lots of time driving there only to have to leave the car at another location.

Need to leave a review to let you know how awesome Vicky form your Liverpool branch is. I booked a car but due to taking my motorcycle test earlier in the day I had no driving license I could bring. I had to make alternate arrangements as i could not pass security however Vicky was the most sincere helpful person i have ever dealt with when trying to hire a car. Sorted my booking out and kept in touch to keep me updated on things. Every company need people like this. Shes a credit to you.

This company provides you with a no hussle experience to rent a car.. I've been renting from so many other places but the survice here is so great. Customer service is so friendly helpful and always smiling. You could not go wrong hiring from them. Their 1 month offer is so cheap and with low deposit. Highly recommend them for any one who wants to rent a car. One time they even upgraded me for a higher tier car with just a little increase in payment.

Horrendous customer service, I don't understand how they get away with it. Ordered a hire car to arrive on Friday between 3 and 4. Received a call saying it would be with us at 3:30. 4:30 came and went, after being on the phone on hold for 30 minutes. Nobody at the Liverpool office answered. We then received an email saying the car would be with us between 6 and 7. At this stage we'd pretty much given up hope on getting a car. No contact, no car. Completely ruined our weekend plans, and anyone reading this thinking about hiring a car, I'd seriously recommend you look elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Europcar.

Absolutely shocking customer service, the car arrived with scratches on even though they said it was perfect, the condition report showed no scratches which I had to make them change or I would have been liable when they collected so be warned walk all around the vehicle, my car is still on my drive a whole day after they promised to collect, no call no email no communication at all, I've chased them all day to be told be there head office there simply not coming, it will be tomorrow now lol, there company slogan should be "save yourself a nightmare hire elsewhere" hopefully they collect tomorrow

Had a car rented out for myself from my company. Been trying to arrange a pick up of the car over the last TWO DAYS however I there is no direct line to contact the branch. Only the call centre who on both occasions unhelpful, short and over all rude if you ask me. I have rented cars from Arnold Clarke and Enterprise before and both have been more accommodating to meet there clients needs, helpful and over all polite! Why is there no direct line to the branch its self?! Just appalled.

Terrible service, made a reservation today to pick up the car at 2pm, received a call to let us know they can only give us the car at 4:30 pm which was very inconvenience, agreed and got there 3:30 pm, neither he mentioned anything about NI number nor it said on the website after an hour and 40 minutes waiting he said we need to wait a further 10 minutes for the car to be sanitised, he then asked us for NI number and we didn’t have it by heart so we had to cancel it, I had paid for it online, I wasted my time and money to get there and get back, it cost me money, time and caused me distress and my whole day was ruined, my own car was broken down, I’ll go through the details of what damage they’ve caused in my formal complaint, I’d rented from them once before, but this time was another story.

After hearing horror stories but needing a hire car I bit the bullet for the first time using these as they do an online NHS discount. I went from short term to a long term (3 months) and the dealt with multiple people on the phone and 3 in store on different occasions (Ezra, Lindsey and Matt I think). Nothing but ease, helpfullness and friendliness. Will definitely not hesitate to use again!

Avoid these like the plague there booking system is a joke they book you a vehicle not even knowing if they have one. If they don't have one they leave it to the last minute to cancel your booking then refuse to take any responsibility for there mistake and just fob you off with lame arse excuses. A car hire company that does not know where there cars are. 1 star is being kind.

Had a Transit van delivered yesterday. Considering this company states all vehicles are cleaned and inspected prior to delivery it still arrived with dirty ripped seats food and drink stains all over door panels and dashboard. Complained and 24hrs later I've still not had an explanation or apology from the company. During recent covid situation I'd of thought they would be acting more responsible with their cleaning between rentals. Would not recommend this company.

Walked in 16.30 Friday afternoon to book car and two members of staff chatting away behind reception desk. I was the only customer in the reception area and neither staff member acknowledged I was their. Rude and unprofessional - took business and money to competitor.

Needed a rental car on short notice after being completely let down by a major car rental company! Wish I had of come straight to europcar as they had me on the road in just under 2 hours of making first contact. Managed to make my meetings which I would not have relying on public transport ( or enterprise). Staff were brilliant as well and spoke like humans not YES/NO Robots. Will definitely use Europcar again!

I needed a car at short notice for work The staff were very helpful, polite and professional Even though it was the first time I had used Europcar, it was all straight forward and took less than 10 minutes (already having made a reservation) The only thing I didn't like was the hard-sell when it comes to the additional insurance; personally I think nearly twenty pounds a day is a bit excessive. Take my advice: Take out excess cover out yourself through a 3rd party provider and flat out decline the overpriced insurance at the desk.
