No matter what office I have go to the staff are number one for service and helpful

Good service, my original choice of van was not available so I was given an upgrade to a larger vehicle. This did cause some Issues with parking but was better than having a smaller vehicle. Collection and drop off service is a real help and the staff at the branch were professional, courteous and very helpful. I will have no issues using their services again. (EDIT) I have recently upgraded this review to 5 stars as, on reflection, my local branch really did provide an excellent service and my 4 star score was based on the fact that i had to park the vehicle in slightly a different spot !!! On reflection not that big a deal.

It does say online, but..... it should be highlighted more so, that it's a £200 deposit an then faced with if you don't get extra insurance with themselves (which I suggest you do) bare the extra cost in mind.....that's it's £1000 PER dent otherwise ....they show you a card with a size of the dents an stress to you when hiring.... I personally didn't feel comfortable with potentially massive bill that could've been coming my way from another careless person possibly bumping into it in a carpark or whatever...an personally, at the time didn't really have the money for the deposit or extra insurance....Hope this helps someone else who's on a budget an was just trying to get away for a few days.

Read through a few others reviews, I had a hire car from these a few years back, to be fair it was ok and the service was ok. A nice young lady at the time even gave me a lift back home, So if I ever needed a hire car again I would consider them again.

I really like Enterprise in Oxford but unfortunately the ones in Birkenhead and Liverpool dont provide the promised American Customer Service. It is really a joke to be honest everytime I go there and see this AD. They tried to push me a 8 seater van, when I asked the 9 seater. Then I said, ok I will get a 9 seater at the Liverpool Branch. Then they said No No No, we have few here but they are dirty... I got the 9 seater in the end. No problem about being dirty or having few Diesel. I just feel like they act as we are stupid... Liverpool same thing... the desk people are very friendly in both brands but the blonde guy (who I think is the manager. He was in both branch both times, different days I was in there), this guy is a piece of work... I booked online to get the car back at 5pm, and they forced me to bring the car back by 4pm.... the branch closes at 6pm. To be fair it was 31 December. What bothers me is that the online service doesnt match the times in the branch. If you are renting a car during Bank Holidays/Public Holidays go with Arnold Clarks (few yards down Enterprise Liverpool), they are amazing and opened during Public Holidays. I hired a 7 seater during Easter Holidays. After that I dont hire with Enterprise anymore. I found Arnold Clarks. Their Customer service is an American Standard. They are open long hours, have a great selection of new cars, the girls at the desk are very friendly, they are based behind the train station, or they collect you anywhere in Liverpool. And you get 25% on your 6th rental.

i rented a car from here and took photos. got accused of causing damage but have photos to show. RENTER BEWARE or you will be facing £1000 bill!! Warning light came on for low tyre pressure and was told i would have to pay if nail in it or damage. see pic. And still waiting for the phone call promised two days ago!!

Excellent customer service from all staff but in particular Charlotte. Very friendly and attentive. Staff ensure you're comfortable with the rental car and explain everything thoroughly and clearly. Cars are clean and of a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

Today I went in to get a hire car and I must say I left feeling rather upset! I probably guess due to it being close to closing time I felt I was in the way and felt very unwelcome and the manager was very smug and sarcastic! I had been waiting all day for a call so finally decided to call them my self, only to be told I had to collect the car and they had tried calling me that morning, which they never as I had my phone on all day! Very disappointed

Customer Policies Worst EVER! Don’t believe a WORD THE MANAGER says in the Brickenhead office. Last night of our vacation and our car had a mechanical failure. Nice man in a neighborhood told us the close by Enterprise could bring us a car in 15 min, so we called a half hour before closing time and he also said our car was not going anywhere but the mechanical shop. We needed a new rental traded out, So w his help we called and spoke to Brikenhead manager named Nathan (my next letter is a major compliant to the Entreprise national office). He told us he had no car available - and he couldn’t find another car or help us. We were simply stuck waiting for the AA service for over a 90 min expected wait time where the tow truck would then take us for a “rush hour” long ride to the Liverpool airport where we could easily get another car. No worries at all, he said. Not that I believe him NOW after my next part of the story .. but I accepted that. I asked him to please call and confirm that picking up a car would be easy and for sure available. He offered to call the tow service to speed up pick up time (who was AMAZING by the way, and got stuck fixing all of Enterprise’s flawed breakdown customer procedures). Then Nathan offered he’d call and confirm our next car was set and promised to call us back and send me a email confirming that I wouldn’t be charged for the tow and it was a issue for the manufacturer. Well, long story short - Nathan went home and 3 hours later we ended up at the Liverpool airport crammed in a tow truck, rained on and tired. Our last day in this beautiful was a bust. Lucky me- There was NO Car available, and the fellow at the desk hadn’t gotten a simple 2 minute phone call from Nathan. He just said that and went home I guess, Why bother make sure we were going to a available car. Interestingly, the tow truck driver had predicted that we would end up easily without a car at that it happens often in this scenario. . As he predicted, we were told we should have or tow truck now take us to the Manchester airport and try there. Let’s hope they have one there or maybe we can try heathrow. I am being sarcastic,of course, but seemed like going from airport to airport was thier idea of helping resolve a mechanical problem and the standard for customer care. Really. Does this make any sense to anyone? I also could t just cancel the car and take a train in the procedures he could offer, I was pretty upset by then, and had the agent call his manager, and since my daughter was taping a message for her sister as I spoke to Nathan- I have his promises picked up on her audio from the speaker phone. The manager hearing this then did the right thing, was embarrased and felt and gave us a car that was promised to someone else for the next day. He would find another car and try to help us. We got back to our hotel tired, wet, hungry since all restaurants close at 9 ...not real happy and pretty sad or trip ended like this. I have never been motivated to do this until now.- I am going to share on any social media channel and complaint sites I can find, call Enterprise and demand that policies are changed and ask that Nathan is accountable for his actions, tear up my Enterprise plus membership and NOT use Enterprise again until they feel customer satisfaction is worth them picking up a phone, separating the customer from the towing process, finding a replacement car and minimizing the process for those unfortunate customers that break down. Instead of sticking the poor AA towing service w cranky customers on wild goose chases til a available car is found by driving from place to place. Nathan, your a lousy manager to do that to us and not bother to take 5 minutes that would have saved us hours. Enterprise you need new policies and better managers that keep thier word. Nice people and great service. Rented a 7 seater Ford galaxy for a family journey. it was a beautiful car but sad because I couldn't drive it, because I am under 25. Well hade to stick to regulations. But I did something crazy, left the gate's keys in the car but luckily the legends kept the key, after ringing them a nice gentleman was waiting for me to collect the keys from him. 100% recommend this place.

Complete mess. Hired a van for moving house, they call a couple of hours before saying it won't be ready. End up delayed for 2 hours, no petrol in tank, the excesses there are rediculously high. All the time when collecting AND returning the van they said they would refund some money as compensation.. A week later I noticed nothing had gone in so rang up and they said they weren't able to do that and they never said they would (a blatant lie). I'm still waiting on a call back from the manager which won't ever happen as it's been several weeks! 2 stars is too generous really

Poor customer service. Car was also poor, not cleaned before I picked up despite them having almost 24 hours between telling me it was available and me collecting, certainly not cleaned to covid standards as detailed on their website. Car I was given, (insurance job so I couldn't choose it myself), came to me with service light on and faulty drivers door. Rated their service acceptable when I returned the car and was challenged as to why so explained the issues to which I was given excuse after excuse. Used them because they were selected by insurance company, would not use through personal choice.

Pretty good car hire company, good selection of cars, nice service, fair prices. Only ranking 2 out 5 because of my recent experience and how I really dislike the "Hard Sell" with the sales team trying to pressure you to upgrade the insurance to cover the excess (...at more than the cost of the rental itself!) and making me having to forcibly say "No, I don't want the extra insurance" 4 times before they got the message. It was a horrible experience. They told me when inspecting the car during handover that small dings (up to about 30mm) don't count against damage - but when they had me inside the car getting me to sign paperwork and they where trying to up sell me on their insurance they said if someone simply opens their car door whilst your parked and prangs or marks the car - you'll have to pay £1000 excess... (regardless of whether it costs that to repair) ... it feels like complete pressure sales to get you to buy the service and I got the feeling that the team must be heavy commission's to be so forceful and it felt like almost bordering on illegal hard selling. I've used Enterprise for many years - spent several thousands on rentals, but they have really ramped up how aggressive they have got on selling this and I doubt I'll return to the company.

The staff in Birkenhead are better than any I have dealt with, they go over and above what they are supposed to, to ensure customers are happy I would rent from Birkenhead again for that reason alone and would recommend to anyone. Was a bit hesitant to hire the mini countryman at first but once I got used to it I was reluctant to give it back. Enterprise were amazing. Without their expert knowledge of what I truly needed I wouldn't have got to my son's wedding safe and sound. Absolute heroes. They saved the day for my whole family.

After having good service in the past, they seem to have gone down the tube. Vehicle was not roadworthy when I came to collect it. They didn't have a suitable alternative immediately and took about 6 hours to get a vehicle (though it was booked weeks in advance). Then when the vehicle was returned they tried to blame me for damage which the agent had not listed properly. Fortunately the person had a vague recollection of having seen the damage and admitted to not marking it properly on the form - otherwise I would have been stung with a big bill all because of their incompetence. The customer who hired the vehicle after myself would also be stung with a repair bill as they just hid a piece of damaged bodywork which I identified to them - if the person didn't spot it. All I can say is that I am really disappointed. This used to be a really nice company to deal with. I wont be using them again. I'd rather pay more elsewhere - after all, a few pounds more elsewhere is much better than a hefty bill after a rental because of a company's fraudulent actions.

Less than transparent billing and refused to respond to my emails questioning add on charges. Oh yes and the car first provided had a puncture and had to be returned, the second car was tatty. Avoid Thanks for the response. Its a shame that my three previous emails to both your site staff and Enterprise execs have been ignored previously so I am not holding my breath for a resolution.

We had reserved a car with another car service and they told us a day before pick up they didn’t have any automatic cars. We called Enterprise and they took car of us. Crystal was the woman who picked us up at the hotel and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Tuck in at the bottom of a side street it gets a bit crowded with Hire cars waiting to be processed in and out. The staff are friendly and courtest. Unfortunately my car had the legacy of stale cigarette smoke which become more unpleasant as the car got warmer during my five hour drive.

My sister had a minor accident in one of their vans. When we got back to depot they instantly drove the van away even though I said we wanted our own pictures. They drove the van off site instantly and then hounded us with phone calls demanding over £2000 for a very minor dent in the side door. Would not recommend to anybody

Best staff I have dealt with anywhere, saved our family holiday after my car broke down the morning of the holiday. Called them up and they didnt have anything but then managed to pull some strings after hearing my plite and found me a car so i was on the road an hour later. These guys bent over backwards to help when all of the others dodnt want to hear it. Would highly recomend this place and i will be back in future if i need to hire a car. Thanks for such a great service and for saving our holiday.

Start to finish was brilliant. We hired the new 17plate Range Rover Sport after mine was unfortunately written off. Lewis was exceptionally helpful and went through the whole car explaining this and that. Overall great service and no problems would defo hire from here again.

0 Stars if i could, First time dealing with them they spoke on the phone told me the terms but missed out the part about £200 deposit so when i got there they were funny with me saying thats just the way it is even though i offered to pay the deposit on my bank card after being married which still had my maiden name on it. Second time my car was in the garage i rang up expecting the £200 deposit, I booked a car and arranged a time to pick it up, got there and they said no cars left even after making a booking, we was not late or funny with them so had to walk home empty handed YET AGAIN. BAD BAD SERVICE, heard some horror stories from the company makes me wonder how they're even still in business.
