Brand new car (with the smell) for a resonanble price for 4 day rental. Friendly staff. I was overcharged for an extra day and for a small discrepancy in fuel…after an inquiry it was all reversed and taken care of. Excellent overall experience.

Best customer service ever. Above and beyond. Picked up my car from being detailed and was extremely surprised. Being a used vehicle, and being a smoker abs a dog owner I had little hope of my baby ever looking good again. OMG! I am so shocked and way beyond any expectation I had! This is amazing!!! For a used vehicle this is showroom condition again. I don’t even want to smoke in it or take my dog in it ever again it is that beautiful! Very, very surprised. The service and job done exceeds any expectations I had and I have and will continue to recommend to anyone I know! Including my boss for our fleet! Great job guys! Very happy!!!!

This location has U-Haul truck and vehicle dolly and trailer rentals. I recently rented this dolly in the picture and it worked well. The staff member was very friendly and sooooo patient and helpful as I've never used a dolly in my life! I even drove it through a snowstorm and no problems at all!

Very happy with the superior service and professional results from my detail. The staff were all extremely helpful and made me feel like I was a long time customer. They took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and made sure I was satisfied with everything. As for results, they exceeded my expectations. I had old tree sap spots baked on as well as marks that the dealership I purchased my car from said that they couldn’t get off – all gone by the skill of James and his crew. Also, providing a rental car was a wonderful bonus as I live in another town and saved me from trying to coordinate another ride. Thanks again and I will be back ????

If I could add more stars I would! The team at Family Auto in Pembroke went way above the standards that I have come to expect when using a rental service. I had an emergency this weekend that could have been much worse had it not been for the excellent care and service that I received from Emma, Ian and James!! My truck broke down in Chalk River on the way to watch my son’s 1st official league Jr A hockey game in Espanola. We called everywhere looking for a rental and we’re starting to panic a bit because we were not having much success until we spoke with Emma. From the beginning Emma was empathic and amazingly helpful! We received a pickup in Chalk River and drop off at Pembroke!! They didn’t have any vehicles at the time but, we’re in the process of getting two brand new vehicles on the road. If we were able to wait, Emma would do her best to make it happen. Emma and Ian ( the office manager?) worked the phones with the dealer and license bureau and were so friendly while doing so, we couldn’t help but admire their dedication. James, their lead car retailer was also helping to get this process expedited because we had a deadline in Espanola that we really didn’t want to miss. Between the 3 of these excellent employees, we were finally setup and sent on our way. They even provided an excellent discount for the delays!!! Happy to say that we did NOT miss this most important first game ????. I would recommend this business to anyone in need of a rental, and a fresh experience in the way customer service really should be handled! This group turned what could have been a very negative experience into a very positive one! I believe that all 3 employees will go a long way in life and business with this kind of attitude and positive outlook. Finding one employee with this sort of work ethic and pride in their work is pretty hard nowadays. Finding 3? Wow! Way to go to the owners of this location business!! Keep up the fantastic work and congratulations on winning over a very hard to impress customer!

Family auto is a great alternative to the big corporate car rental companies. Their daily rates are always better then big guys anyways and they never run out of cars. Plus, they are locally owned and operated! Ian, than manager does whatever he needs to so you can get where you need to go in style!

I've rented a few vehicles and a trailer from this location. The vehicles are all new, and rates are very competitive. What makes this location exceptional and worthy of a 5 star rating is the service. Marvi and Ian have been outstanding in providing professional services, sometimes going beyond any expectation. For example, I arrived during a long weekend due to a car accident, and Ian happened to be at the building. Despite the location being closed for business, he set me up with a rental vehicle anyways. Further, their location is open longer than nearby competition, and they have a military discount!

Amazing service Very well priced compared to the big rental companies, with even better service. The rental fleet has something for everyone’s needs. Almost every vehicle has Apple CarPlay and Android auto. ( Some even have winter tires) The vehicles are showroom clean and are extremely well maintained. Thanks for making my long trips feel like short ones. Best rental place around !
