Rented a car 3 weeks ago. They have a mileage limit (200 KM per day) which is quite unfair for the price you pay. They charge you for the insurance, but apparently the insurance only covers extra damage more than 2500 CAD. Upon returning, they checked the car like you're crossing the Mexican border, and finally charged 250 CAD for a scratch I even didn't know existed. Don't ever go to this shop or be willing to pay way more for a rental.

My husband and I just rented a mini van from here for our family outing because our car didn't have enough seats. Thay we're very friendly and professional. We we're late upon returning the vehicle due to traffic and notified the owner who stayed late and waited for us almost 2 hours past due back time and didn't charge us extra. SERIAL CON ARTISTS! I've never felt used and disrespected as I did with this rental. They charged me $250 for a scratch on the bumper that they claim happened while the car was in my possession. They hold your deposit and extort you for money for any scratch they can make up. Initially they seemed nice and the prices seem fair, but don't let that fool you. You will pay double when you return the car. Seems like I'm not the first one this has happened to. Let this be a warning to all, STAY AWAY!

Just go to one of the big trustworthy rental agencies. They will fabricate a reason to charge you for damages. They have done this to many people. This is $280 worth of damage that we're not even sure wasn't there before. Edit to add: Check the car very carefully before driving away and *stay with the car* when they do the inspection upon its return.. They conveniently own/are in partnership with the body shop that quotes on the cost of the damages and then does the repairs (perfect business model) Based on the business's reply, it's WRONG to give someone 40 days' worth of business. Best not make this mistake again then.

So my first experience with this company was brief, and will most likely be the last. I was simply calling the number on the banner I saw while driving down Victoria St, to inquire as to what they do there and what sort of cars they rent. To me, Xtreme Car rentals would imply that they rent high end exotics or high end performance cars. Never the less, I was greeted by someone who started answering my questions, and it seemed as if the second he realized I was not renting or inquiring for an immediate sale, he said, "I have to put you on hold so I can help another customer." I was not calling just for the hell of it, I was calling because I would likely be interested in this sort of thing in the summer months. But that was all I needed to know they don't care too much about customer service.

I am a student who's been using ZipCar services for ages now, and for some reason had to discontinue driving with them. Me and my buddy needed a vehicle in a pinch and Kamran (front man) was super accommodating, he even gave us a discount on insurance. The car was a 2018 RAV4, clean and perfect for moving as that's my primary reason for getting rentals. Highly recommended!

Wow! I have never had as easy an experience as I have had with Xtreme! They not only helped me when I got into my car accident back in the winter by getting me into a vehicle with winter tires but recently when my car broke down and I needed to get to work they rented me a car quick and painless and better yet no deposit and an amazing rate! Unlike other companies that make you leave deposits and create more hassel and headaches I was in and out in 20mins! I have vowed to only rent from them because of the great customer service which really made me feel like family and the fact that they genuinely care about your safety and about getting you the most out of your rental! I rent vehicles at least once a month if not more, I've always gone to the big brand named companies but since moving up to the area I decided to call up Xtreme and since day 1 I've never been disappointed, Cam is the guy to deal with he will get you what you need (if available) when you need it. I've had to call a few times the morning of needing a rental and he's always been able to accommodate my need's anywhere from a sedan to an 8 seater van ! He rented a car from there, then when it was the time to return it back, they charged him $600 for unnoticeable scratch that I'm one hundred percent sure they are not gonna fix. Xtreme rental has foreigner and young driver friendly policies. We wanted to rent a car to drive to Algonquin Park. Xtreme Car Rentals was very helpful and we were able to rent a car with a 800$ deposit. The car was in great condition and evrything went smoothly. We were so happy that we reserved a car for a trip to Bruce Peninsula. They have a driving limit though, we ended up paying 13$ more after our trip to Algonquin Park, which is acceptable. We had no credit card and weren't able to rent a car with Avis or Budget. Enterprise accepts debit card, but has strict policies, e.g. the driver has to provide a proof of living in the city. After they denied us the car, an Enterprise employee referred us Xtreme Car Rentals.

Great experience! Owner is really kind and offers help even when contacted after regular business hour. Service was quick and communication is great! Was trying to rent car at the last minute before the holiday on 06/30. Found no other company open until tried calling xtreme. Owner was off work when calling, but still willing to help us and drive to the office to meet us. You on Google, trying to find a place to rent a car? Run from this place. Someone scratched the bumper of the car while the car was parked in a parklot (truly not my fault) They charged me 1200 dollars for the fix. You read that right... 1,200 dollars for a scratched surface of a rear bumper. (The paint its still there) Not just my case either, look at other 1 star reviews. They have a 2000 deductible and if someone scratches the car, they are going to fully charge you. Run from these small renting places, try finding a more reliable brand out there. You have been warned. New Edit: See below their reply? They will charge you a crazy amount of deductible even if you pay FULL INSURANCE. (like I did) and still think this is "normal" + They also said "A professional bodyshop" made the quote... Yeah, right, the bodyshop that they are partnered with, how convenient. Not even giving me chance to try and find a second opinion. Don't loose money like I did on this guys. You have been warned!

They deleted the experience I shared withe their worst attitude towards customers. They tried to give me the unsafe and broken bamper car. When I said they should change me another one they said they don't have. They tried to convince me to take it while choosing words you ate trying to be picky but this is safe car. I agreed to pay 70 + tax a day with only 200Km allowed a day and 20 cents for any additional km. When I went in to return my money and the deposit they used the language that I don't understand to try to give me another one. The insurance I had was full coverage but they tried to make me call to my company as if I have no idea about what my insurance was. It was so unfair and unsafe so disgusting and very discrimination. I felt so bad to be treated differently as I saw a better treatment for others. I wasted my time and returned home without the car I paid. It was the worst experience I had since I have rented in about 5 other different places with better service and fair treatment. I was told " you are a kind of people who complain" by refusing to take the car which was fixed by a tape when I saw the bamper was about to fall down. I didn't find the comment I wrote when I checked it in few hours and I will save this if they delete it. Unfair place with poor customer service... The worst ever that we should not have in our community.

The morning I took my rental back, I stopped at the gas station, filled the tank to full for $50.00 - my obligation to return the vehicle as it was when I received it - that is fine. HOWEVER, the manager claimed that the gas gauge was actually past full and demanded that I "top it up". $14.00 later - "topped up" - the gas gauge DID NOT MOVE! This may seem minor, it was only $14.00, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and this was ridiculous. I would NEVER recommend their service.

I found the phone manner of the man who took my initial a refreshing change from the hurried and sometimes insincere (fake) manner of some customer service people. I've rented cars on two occasions from Xtreme and in both instances they went out of their way to accommodate my rather last minute requests. Their prices are very competitive. And a huge plus for me is that their hours extend to 7 pm. All things told, I would certainly recommend them.

I rented a corolla car from this company after time l returned the to find the person who received the sent directly to the rim in from and under the plumber and then went to the up to the driver door to tell me l have to pay him 600 dollar as he knows previously what is in the car before rented to me he told me sit down in the office after a while he came with a list of damaged in the car when I told him that l didn't do that so l went out to see the car wasn't out side he told me if you need any question go to the workshop where the car now when l argued with him that is not fair he replayed your visa card number with me and I will charge you 607 dollar at that time l left after a while he did charge me for something l never done this story happened to my son last year and charged him 350 dollar it seems this gay an expert in cheating others in his way moreover any one return the car that must be picked to his house by then but left me outside in the cold weather searching for a taxi and I have a fracture in my hip l waited 30 minutes to get a taxi and now I feel not good painful because of the cold weather that affected my hip anyone can't imagine how this company cheat others to repair their car just to tell you you have damage in the rental car even you put the car in your garage

DISGUSTING CON ARTISTS. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! These guys charged my credit card an extra $800 without telling me. They claim there are scratches on the bumper. These light marks are so superficial it is laughable and you certainly wouldn't mark them on a per-inspection and as a result they may have been there previously. Furthermore, they said i could drop the car off in Cambridge when i picked it up so when i did they were rude and said i can't. They argued with me and screwed me out of a promised lift. I had to order a cab. DO NOT USE THESE LOW LIFE SCAMMERS.. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

SCAMMERS; They will charge you for damages you didnt even do! When you return the car, they'll tell you everything is okay. Then they'll call you back saying they forgot to get you to sign something and accuse you of damages they found.... If you ask to see the car and show the damages, they'll tell you the car is gone and just show you pictures on their phone of the "supposed damages." Save yourself the headache! Hopefully the Better Business Bureau shuts this dishonest place down!!!!

Hi my experience with extreme was less then flattering l rented a car of them .l too was puzzled by discovering danage to the the car windshield. I took a video of the car and you cant see the crack .However when you still frame the video the crack is there .and the video is time dated from my phone It is dated before i took possession of the vehlce l rented .My question is this if the damage showed up on my phone why did it not show up his.Very disappointed in how i was treated . Those ppl they just trying to grab our money. Before half an hour, I checked my Online Banking and just found that Xtreme Car Rentals toke 169 $ without any authorization, without any phone call. Is that fair ? And after i called them they said because you smoked in the car and i didn't. Why the charge me after they checked the car and they said everything is good and you good to go and we return you down payment to your credit card. The funny thing when i called them and I told them they dont have the right to use my credit without an authorization. And i told them i'll do a police report and the basic answer is:" go to a police report and I don't wanna see your face again" seriously!!!

You bring the car back, they take the car in without letting you go into see the inspection with them (which I found out I am allowed to be there and I’m supposed to be there when they do this) and all of a sudden they come back in and say their are damages to the car. They won’t let you do the inspection with them and then come back and say the vehicle is damaged and you have to pay.

I will never use this place again as for when I tried to explain to the guy that they should at least discount her for the 6.5 hours all he did was argue with me and get rude. Worst place EVER.

A well deserved 5 star rating for this family operated business! I was impressed from the beginning of my experience to the very end. I called ahead on a Saturday to ask for availability and was greeted with professional and friendly staff. I was in and out driving a beautiful Camaro in less than a half hour. I had a very bad experience with this rental. We rented a car for a weekend and when delivering it, they found out a small scratch at a side of the car, very difficult to see for an honest, well-thinking customer. They charged me almost 300 dollars for it, the preauthorization amount, curiously enough! By the way, they charged it before even showing me what the damage was, although I asked for it. I can only say that the car had not touched anything for the time of our renting, nor was it parked in any compromised place where it could have been damaged. It was simply and old scratch, almost non-noticeable. The guy kept telling me that he could clearly see that a damage was there and that he was not to pay for it. After this experience I have read the comments posted on by other customers. I’ve seen that it’s not the first time that this sort of thing has happened. My recommendation: stay out of these people. If not, take full pictures of every bit of the car before leaving the rental. He tenido una experiencia muy mala con esta oficina de alquiler de coches. Alquilamos un coche para un fin de semana y cuando lo fuimos a devolver, el hombre que nos atendía encontró un roce en una aleta trasera, algo que no era fácil de ver para el cliente honesto y bien pensado. Me cargaron poco menos de 300 dólares, ¡curiosamente la cantidad preautorizada! Por cierto, me lo cargaron antes de enseñarme el desperfecto, aun habiéndoselo pedido previamente. Sólo puedo decir que el coche no tuvo ningún roce en el tiempo que lo tuve alquilado, ni estuvo aparcado en ningún sitio comprometido donde le pudieran rozar. Simplemente era una rozadura antigua que casi ni se notaba. El hombre repetía que podía ver perfectamente la rozadura y que a él no le tocaba pagarla. Después de esta experiencia he leído los comentarios de diferentes clientes sobre esa empresa. Miradlos, por favor y veréis que no es la primera vez que ocurre algo así. Mi recomendación: alejaos de esta gente. Si no, al menos haced fotos de todas las partes del coche antes de moverlo. J'ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec ce bureau de location de voitures. Nous avons loué une voiture pendant un week-end et quand nous sommes allés le revenir, l'homme qui nous a assisté a trouvé un frottement dans l'aile arrière, ce qui n'était pas facile à voir pour le client honnête et bien pensé. Ils m'ont facturé presque 300 $, curieusement le montant préautorisé! A propos, j'ai été chargé avant de me montrer les dégâts, même si je les avais demandés auparavant. Je peux seulement dire que la voiture n’a eu aucune friction pendant le temps que j’ai louée la voiture et qu’elle n’a pas été garée dans un endroit compromis où elle pourrait être touchée. C'était juste une vieille égratignure qui n'a presque pas été montrée. L’homme a répété qu’il voyait parfaitement les frottements et qu’il n’allait pas payer pour cela. Après cette expérience, j'ai lu les commentaires de différents clients à propos de cette entreprise. Regardez-les, s'il vous plaît, et vous verrez que ce n'est pas la première fois que quelque chose comme cela s’est produit. Ma recommandation: restez loin de ces personnes. Sinon, prenez au moins des photos de toutes les pièces de la voiture avant de la déplacer.

Real and genuine people. I am extremely happy and greatly appreciate everything they have done for me. I was in an accident that had my car as a write off and I was at a loss for what to do without a vehicle. They got me a brand new 2018 Toyota Camry as a renal right away that was paid for through my insurance, and Adnnan (the gentlemen who helped me with the application of my new car) followed through and went above and beyond to get me approved for another car loan on a great Crysler 300 that no other cars sales person would have done for me. Xtreme car rental got very competitive pricing for rental vehicles, but you need to be careful they do not have any break down service out of town. Basically a agent told me I need to call CAA or any other tow truck on my own. Luckily I didn't have any issue. With the vehicle. I booked a 8 seater van and confirmed day before the pickup to make sure its a 8 seater van, when I went to pick it up it was Toyota highlander and you can't even seat 3 kids in the back seat. Agent's answer was I don't know what happened to the van.
