Was in from out of town for the weekend, and while in Cranbrook, one of my cylinders started misfiring. I couldn't get the old ignition coil removed because the bolt was stripped. I called Denham Ford and talked with Mike in the service department. He was able to change the coil for me in the parking lot and got me back on the road.

I don't write a lot of reviews but feel it's important to express just how impressed I am with this dealership. From management to sales staff including service, I have had great experiences all around. This is my second new truck purchase from Denham. The first purchase in 2011 was great (no drama, I got a good deal and a good trade in value), and this purchase was even better. I can say for a fact that without the extra leg work of their new salesman John Smits, I never would have been able to arrange getting the truck I wanted. Also Rene and Brent both worked with me to arrange out of province paperwork and delivery, and on top gave me a great trade in value on my current truck. (going in I understood and agreed the trade amount was subject to change some due to market values, and when the new truck would come in 3+ months later that amount would have to be adjusted some). So even though the deal was committed to and they knew I was expecting to receive a lower trade in value at delivery, they offered the original trade in amount, no adjustment. That right there speaks volumes to their integrity, it is not just about profit with this dealership, the trust and relationships earned do matter and they get it, that is very rare in this industry and should be acknowledged. I will be back when the time comes, keep up the good work!

Gurdeessh (better known as Dee) was the perfect gentleman and fit the sales roll perfectly. He listened, answered all questions I threw at him (and more) and made me very comfortable when it was my turn to drive. Empty gas tank and washer fluid. Sunroof doesn't work or the remote starts(assume low batteries on both fobs. Spent over 40 Gs. Its the small things also no refund on the PST charged when bought by Albertens. Look else where first! To you response, Strange that it was a tank of gas from Ford in cranbrook your location to the hotel beside 7/11 in cranbrook down the strip.. I also have the receipt and milage of filled the tank and it was not driven any further. Also beautuful weather didn't think anything of it assuming all fluids including fuel was full. No winderwasher fluid either, tons of bugs and no place to get any for 2.5 hours. Awesome! With the defective sunroof regardless of your inspection it does not work, it has never worked nor has the remote start. Why not offer to arrange ford up here to look and fix if it is defective or replace batteries. The other things are just douchy as far as I see it. Not arranging any way to fix it but drove 1,114 kms back and we will look at it.... Just felt its right to share my honest experience, I could add more in regards to insurmace and registration but I won't. Thank you for your attempts at doing absolutely nothing to help and also making it messy to insure and register in Alberta. You have my contact info if you would like to discuss legalities.

Making an update to my original post. Mike from Denham Ford did make a reply to my original post and ask me to give him a call.. it was more of a " look we are wanting to make things look like we are helping" I did call again hoping they had a change of mind , but no luck . Still we're not will to cover the cost of the window replacement. I ll make a BBC complaint and see if I can get any traction that way.. Its not about the money but about the principle. I am not happy with their service at all. The lady at the service desk was great and very helpful. But we had a few issues with our car that are still not resolved. I had a steering rack changed a few days before ay Am Ford in Trail, Bc on a 2015 ford flex . The new part failed the next day. That had nothing to do with Denham Ford , they put in the replacement part for us but charged almost double what it cost at Am Ford, they did refund me $240 but that was after I had pressure them . They replaced a tie rod that was missing a grease nipple with out asking and told me that the boot was torn, then said it had play in it. I know it did not as it had just been done by my mechanic in Rossland then sent to Am Ford for the install of the steering rack and wheel alignment. then it made clunky sounds when I picked it up, ( they had forgotten to tighten a sway bar link. To make it even better while the car was parked on their lot at the door to their service entrance which they also got on camera of someone shooting the window of our car with a pellet gun! But they said they would not cover it . Not happy at all !

4 weeks for an oil change! Why did I even bother purchasing a pre paid maintenance packages!! Brutal. Guy comes home on days off and told 4 weeks for a services on a Ford that has a maintenance package.

I called to get our 2016 F150 looked at because the passenger door keeps flying open and is currently being held with a ratchet strap. The man I talked to didn't even try to fit our truck in. He said I can leave it with him for the entire week and hope it gets done...we have a toddler, I am pregnant and my partner works out of town so obviously we need our vehicle and for it to be safe for us to use. You would think you'd receive better service, especially after buying such an expensive vehicle.

I had warranty work done on my 2011 Ranger inside the transmission. Over multiple visits in the shop and many attempts to fix the issue which took over six months, they replaced the complete transmission. When I got the truck back, it was difficult to change gears to the point that I sometimes had to shut off the engine, put it in gear then start again. The warranty was just up and the dealer was unwilling to do anything to fix it. Makes a guy wonder if it took them so long to do anything so the warranty would be up. I could have put up with the slight noise it was making before it ever went into their shop. I have been driving standard vehicles for over 35 years and know what a proper shift should feel like. Denham Ford has let me down.
