Cherry Creek has been wonderful to rent from, response time has always been fast, maintenance and repair times are reasonable and they work to accommodate you however you need for moving in and out. It has been a positive , pleasant and pain free experience renting.

This is only a ‘hard business’ if you don’t do your job. Property managers who don’t meet contractual obligations such as lawn maintenance, snow removal, garbage removal, and basic building maintenance (the washer in the laundry room in the building I owned a unit in was out of order for well over a year!!), should NOT be ‘taken with a grain of salt.’ I, unfortunately, made the mistake of bringing some of these issues to their attention only to be belittled, disrespected, ignored and I was then retaliated against. I’ve been a home owner for 25 years and have owned in 3 complexes governed by stratas/property managers and in that time I’ve never had a single complaint by a strata, property manager or neighbour. The only complaints my neighbours ever had about me was that I had decided to move because I was the one of best neighbours they ever had. Then suddenly in a complex that Cherry Creek managed, I suddenly had several complaints against me, all of which were either fabricated, embellished or a complete lie. They made complaints where I had photo and video proof to the contrary that they refused to consider or even look at. Let this be a cautionary tale! Don’t rent a unit through Cherry Creek nor let them property manage your strata or they will charge you extravagant amounts to NOT do their job. And if you are stuck renting with or using Cherry Creek as a property manager, for God sake don't call them out for not doing their job or you’ll be retaliated against! Just be quiet and let them get away with it or it will only get worse for you!

I would take any negative reviews with a grain of salt. There are a lot of terrible properties, terrible tenants and unreasonable owners in property management. Krista Moody manages my house in Kimberley and we couldn't have asked for a better property manager. We recently visited Kimberley and our house and couldn't believe how great our property looked. She has a good relationship with our tenants, and open communication with us. I would recommend Cherry Creek Property Services to anyone looking for quality managemnt.

This seems like a tough business, from the reviews I've read here it seems like people are often upset with things outside of Cherry Creek's control and then rate the company negatively based on that. My experience with the people that make up the business (Val, Carly, etc.) is always extremely positive and fair. They're professional, kind and make sure that the relationship between contractors and residents is healthy. They bring multiple solutions to the table and then let us decide what is best for our community. The strata meetings are very well organized and put our interests first. The current 2.9 rating is deceiving, go say "hi" to the people who run the show and see that they're 5/5 :)

I have a property and was told to deal with Laurie. I have attempted to call her 6 times and reception would not put me through to her. I was told that she was busy and that she would call me back. She never did so I figured that I would go in to their office to see her. Even though she was in the office reception said that she was too busy to meet and she would get her to call me. This has happened 3 times over a 2 week span and she has yet to call me. I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Awful company. Called them last week because our furnace crapped out. Now 5 days later (in the middle of winter) nobody has even come to look at it! Unfortunately this is my second rental with them, as at the time nothing else was available. The first time around they tried to keep part of my deposit. Fortunately they failed to do a check in inspection with me, and I read them the tenancy act stating that they are unable to keep any deposits when no inspection was done upon moving in. I am likely one of the very few who have won a fight against them, but sadly most cannot say the same. If given the option the end our lease early we would do so in a heart beat. They have done NOTHING that they promised they would do before we moved in. Absolute garbage company. If you can avoid it NEVER RENT THROUGH THEM!!

Do not do business with this company! They are thieves, stealing renters' deposits. They are the worst, and most offensive, leasing agency I have ever encountered. One agent, Krista Moody, is a pure psychopath. She is insulting, immature, and so completely unprofessional that she is a liability to the company she represents! If she doesn't get her way, she goes out of her way to destroy any semblance of a respectful relationship with renters. She is also a menace to her community. She threatens others if she doesn't like their opinions about "her" rental properties! She is truly evil and scary, and belongs locked up in a sanitarium! Stay away from this company. Moody rules over them like a dictator, and they are fools for allowing her to do so.

I give this company 5 stars! Kristy Moody has given us excellent service. I highly recommend them for your renting needs whether you are looking to Rent or looking for a property manager. Professional and knowledgeable concerning the market place in Cranbrook and Kimberly.

There has been work going on in my complex since I moved in. The contractors that they hired are extremely unprofessionyal. They blare music which is not only disruptive to residents but a worksafe violation as it impedes their ability to hear what’s going on around them. I’ve been forced to listen to constant cursing and when I asked the contractors to please keep their swearing to a minimum, they responded with sarcasm and rudeness and immediately began swearing again. When I brought it up to the site manager she brushed off their rude behaviour to that’s just how contractors act and they are under pressure to get the job done. I was also told to not address any issues to the contractors. When I brought it up to the property manager I was ignored completely. I pay a mortgage for the complex I live in as well as condo fees and expect the people that I pay to act with more courtesy, professionalism and safe work practices than that. All I wanted was a simple apology for the guy being rude and to exercise safe work practices.

The 3 years they looked after our property while we where out of town, they ran it into the ground! I thought the negative comment on this review page was just angry customers... but now I'm a witness to the lack of professionalism and service. I started working with Chris the original owner (God rest his soul) After he passed away everything when down hill from there. Nothing but propblems dealing with Krista the whole time! This company couldn't rent out the place for a month, all the excuses that gave us didn't match up so I asked to see the property my self, the problem was obvious! The place smelt like a barn/animal piss, there was damage to the entrances, walls, floors, sinks, toilet, bathroom fan leaking water, tenants where allowed to do there own electrical installations (HUGE HUGE LIABILITY HERE!!!!) THIS IS NOT REGULAR WEAR AND TEAR THAT HAPPENS OVER TIME WITH TENANTS. I don't think they even did walk throughs to be honest! None of these issues at hand where properly documents on their paperwork and no pictures taken to boot! So they never got the tenants to fix or pay for the damage (Guess who has to pay for it now, I am talking with my legal representative now) When I demanded a meeting with the property managers and company owner, we confronted then on this! Krista had the nerve to tell us with her boss there, that she doesn't look under carpets or behind curtains for damage when she dose a walk through! To top the cake off they where suppose to do walk through on a regular bases to control damage and look for grow operations ect.. It even says they will do this on their web site, again when I confronted them about this I was told that this is impossible to do! Turns out the clients on this review page, that had problems with the heat was our house...(You can read the review your self) Totally different story then what we where told by the property manager. I wright all this to let the next potential client to see the truth from both side. These are not just angry clients here. As I have seen now, this is how the company is run! I would never recommend this company to anyone!

My story is a bit different but no less relevant perhaps. I will tell it as it is. Rented a place through them, initially told it was NOT for sale by owner(the entire series of subsequent conversations were a lie,as I've now learned) Signed a one year lease,went up for sale 3 months later. The interesting part; The person I dealt with was worried about the condition of the baseboards,holes in the wall,etc... Yet the house is basically an moldy ice box covered in carefully placed paint. This isn't how you operate a reputable company with "hundreds" of properties.. This is how you turn outspoken and brutally honest people against you.
