Five star rating is still on low side amazing staff so easy to deal with when no credit card most places said no they say come down bring cash debit loss of use vehicle.replacment made way to easy even after numerous attempts to get ahold of adjuster they said don't worry. Got. Me 100 percent recommended talk to joanne she will put u behind the wheel fast ❤

I rented a Dodge Journey from Value for 4 days. Very nice people, and super helpful. I am really pleased with the service, and the Journey started every morning, without being plugged in, and the nights have been -30C lately. Joanne and Sherry made the whole thing so easy. I am going to rent from them again.

Well where do i start the two ladies were very nice dont get me wrong here but I had to wait well over 2 months for my 300.00 deposit to be returned i called after the 10 days because they hold it incase you get caught in one of them red light cameras. so anyway when i called they said ohhhh your supposed to give us a call in 10 days we dont call anybody ???? really yyyy this is absurd to say the least the vehicle i picked up was dirty to hide the scratches but i headed straight to the carwash and called them saying i was bringing the car back so they can add all the damage (scratches) this vehicle had but was told dont worry needless to say the 2 weeks i had the car it was always on my mind (okay) when i bring it back seeing they dont call you at anytime telling you your deposit cleared they will say the scratches i did WOW WHAT A RELIEF THIS WAS anyway if you dont call them in 10 days they will not call you whatsoever where in canada is there such a policy such as this in the end i will say this to me they were hoping i would forget about the deposit some do as they are on holidays and cant remember everything but hey!!! be careful set yourself a reminder to call them in 10 days they hope you will just forget about it but i finally got a cheque and this took 12 days to get when i was told oh yeah 5the cheque was sent out got the cheque but i will not ever rent from here again.... you ladies were very much i do appreciate this but whoever owns this place wake up and catch up with the industry here PEOPLE DO WANT THE DEPOSITS BACK OR DID YOU ALSO FORGET????? JUST PISSED AT HOW THEY RUN THIS PLACE....

This was one of the last places I called to rent a car. I needed this car for one day to get to and from work. When I phoned, the receptionist told me they had a car available, it was a cobalt and it would be $60 for the day. Fine.. I was desperate, it was a little high compared to my other prices that I got from Enterprise and such but they had no vehicles at that time. The lady says they'll even come and pick me up within the next 30 minutes before they close so I could get my car. This was at 530pm. They closed at 6. I end up getting a ride there and sign all the papers and away we go through the parking lot. She points and goes that's your car over there. A piece of crap Swift that's literally falling apart on the condition report. Scratches all over, engine light is on, gas tank cover doesn't close, makes a loud bang when you start it but no big deal, it goes away. No need to worry, its all on the report, so away I go. Get to my house, go to honk the horn to let my girlfriend know im home, what do you know, horn doesn't work. Next day, 1pm, thought id give them a call and make sure id be able to get a ride home when I returned the car at the same time as pick up yesterday. She said, "oh no, we can't do that on such short notice." "well you were about to pick me up in 10 minutes yesterday but now today, once you have my money, 3 hours is too short of notice?". The lady was so rude to me and was treating us like crap. I will definitely be arranging a pickup today from a friend even though their website states "free drop off and pick up". I will also be contacting MPI about their unsafe cars. Do not rent cars from this shop and more so, do not get your car fixed at this place. Bunch of crooks! Worst I've seen!

I got an immobilizer installation done here. In the process of installing it they disconnected both my cruise control and fog lights. I would not recommend.

To" your Lame", we try to accommodate everyone but due to the covid 19 we ask all of our out of town rentals to call after they have quarantined for the 14 days for the safely of all our staff and customers. Thank you . Our hours have changed Mon-Fri- 9:00a.m. - 5:00. If we have customers that require a rental on the week-end we will accommodate you. Thank you

Do not received the deposit after more than 10 days and 2 calls.. Pay more and go with Entreprise, they'll be more professional

I only got as far as a phone call to this place I found on google. I spoke with some reception lady and It was enough to detour me from using the business. RUDE, Unprofessional and pretty sure BIASED based on my younger sounding voice over the phone. I declined going any further at that point and hung up and called Enterprise Rent a Car, who by the way were more than happy to help me out, answer my questions and have a car for me when I needed it. Side note: Not once did they ask me how old I was or was I made to feel stupid! Not impressed I will never deal with this company nor recommend it.

The ladies here are not friendly whatsoever they talk bad about every client that walks through I have heard them talk poorly of me when I was sitting in the waiting room and for what I don’t know I never did anything to them and they take forever to return the security deposit I didn’t even get the full amount back and I never damaged the vehicle I maintained all fluids and everything I have also seen the ladies smoke in the rental cars and the struts or the shocks or something was damaged on the vehicle I rented because I could hear noise coming from the front end and the vehicle wasn’t aligned properly the steering wheel was crooked as well I’m surprised they are still open for business they gave me a hazard on 4 wheels that I had to drive my little baby in I almost said forget it and used a taxi the whole week but didn’t have the money to so I drove the crappy car and I had to get the cabin air filter replaced with my own money out of my pocket because the one they had in their was stinking up the entire vehicle I definitely do not recommend renting a car from this place the staff here are very immature and don’t take care of their cars. If I could give zero stars I would.

I had a Autopac Claim and rented a vehicle from Value Rent a car. When I went to pick up the vehicle ,the ladies at the desk were very pleasant . The Vehicle they rented to me was a newer Sonic which was a very clean nice to drive vehicle. When my autopac claim expired I needed the vehicle for a few extra days and they were nice enough to let me keep the vehicle at no charge ,which I very much appreciated. I would Highly Recommend Value Rent a Car.

Recently rented a vehicle from this car rental place. Was highly recommended to us at the time. When we picked up the car, the ladies in the front office were extremely pleasant and very helpful. The car was spotless and well maintained. We have rented from other places before in Winnipeg, by far this is the best experience we have ever had. I would highly recommend this business to everyone. We travel to Winnipeg at least twice a year and will certainly rent from them every time we come there. Thanks to all of you for the best experience and the greatest customer service. We will be back in a few months and will be back to rent from you again.

The staff here was awesome! My wife and I ran into a problem with our vehicle and needed a rental as soon as possible. We contacted this company and they had newer 2014 model for us. Our issue was we did not have a credit card. This company does not require one! You can leave a deposit of 300$ and they hold it for 10 business days (just in case you get a speeding ticket) once those days have pasts you can go and collect your deposit. The staff here were extremely nice and helpful. They picked my wife up from work and drove here to the rental company to fill out the necessary paper work and was able to drive back to work with the car. They were very friendly and talkative and in good moods. We had the car for ruffly 3 days and had to return it for noon. We have used this company a few times when running into problems with our car and have never had an issues. We highly recommend this company if you are ever in our situation and need a vehicle as soon as possible and do not have a credit card. We called around to quite a few companies and not many will help out with out a credit card. This company sent above and beyond for they're customers.
