Dishonest company, lets you book a rental online even though they have zero cars in their fleet. Some panicked incompetent staff member called to cancel my reservation 3 days before pickup, even though we booked a long time ago. Now left scrambling to find ANYTHING for my family when we move.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Rented a car for early morning pick up. Because of weather, I knew that i wouldn't reach on time. So, I called and said that I would pick up the car at 4:30 pm. I was told that it's not going to be an issue. I call at 4:00 to confirm that the car would be ready. I go at 4:30, he says the car would be here in 5-10 mins as it is on the way from Toronto. Then 5 mins later he tells me that the car is stuck in traffic for 2 hours. So, you got to go to another location to pick up the car on the way to airport. Why would you lie to your customers?

Amazing Customer service. I was able to take a Uber from the Oshawa GO Staion to the Hertz and i was gone with my rental within 15 minutes! The car was comfortable, affordable and not to mention very clean! The gentleman working was able to help me out with Insurance as well due to my personal insurance not being transferable. Me and my husband are very satisfied. Overall very good experience at this Hertz car rental

When othet car rental companies in Oshawa were sold out last minute car rentals with no back up rentals Went over to Hertz and they had a good selection of options available for my day trip. In the end the Hertz package and promotion beat the Enterprise deal a month before and the customer service by Ashkan was amazing and helped me get my jobs done. Reserved a premium full sized SUV three days before I needed it for a weeks time. Called after my reservation to confirm that I would be provided the specific vehicle and the rep on the phone said he would make sure of it and took my name and number. Came in this morning and was told all their SUVs were in maintenance (bulls*hit) and that they have "ungraded" me to a mini van. When I said no they actually offered me a cargo van.. The rep at the counter today was nice and apologetic but that does not make up for this. Went to Enterprise in Whitby and got the car I wanted within 20 min and they matched the price. Will never deal with Hertz again.

Awful company that looks for handouts and accuses you of ruining their vehicles with pets to try to get free detailing. Don't drop your vehicle off after hours. They hope you do this so they have more of a window to the options in which they can accuse you of. Jerks!!!!

The customer service was excellent but the rental cost for a car is quite expensive. I rent every 2 months & it would be nice if it wasn't so expensive to rent.

Dishonest company and the manager is a thieving liar. We rented a vehicle with them through our insurance company and when we return they called and harrased my wife very rudely lieing that we had pets in the vehicle. They are nothing but low class bullies lieing to steal your and your insurance companies money. Will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone. Hopefully this place goes out of business so good honest people don't getting taken advantage of.
