Rude customer service the last time we were there. Overpriced for the service received. We have never had such bad service from any other Kal Tire. Kal Tire is usually our go to but we will never return to this shop. Your customer service agent at the front desk is rude and disrespectful. Asked for one service received a different kind when asked why, they just got defensive and rude and dismissive about it.

I was between ferries and had a dead battery before I had even boarded the first boat. I stopped in to Kal tire on my way to next boat, as I have always had amazing service from the store in Campbell River, and wanted to be sure my battery wouldn’t die again on next ferry. The gentleman that served me was not only dismissive, telling me he had absolutely no one there that could test my battery, but he actually answered the ringing phone in mid conversation with me, the customer standing right in front of him. I turned around and walked out of the store. Luckily there was a Ford Dealership right down the road, who helped me immediately deal with my problem. Super disappointed that customer service has become a thing of the past. There won’t be a return visit.

Had a nail in my rental car tire causing a slow leak. They fixed it within 5 minutes at no charge. Staff were friendly and for me, at least, they knocked it out of the park. I'm very thankful for their help.

I needed a slow leak repaired. I showed up without an appointment about a hour or so before closing. They took my vehicle in immediately. Less than 25 minutes later I was on my way. The service was friendly, efficient and professional. And while I was there another customer brought the staff a gift. I don't know how you can get a better endorsement. Well done KAL Tire team! I hope I don't need your services often, but I am glad you are in my town.

Mixed experience here. Their inside sales/service team are excellent. Had a tire patched but the bolt on hubcap was installed incorrectly (valve stem was hidden). The patch has held and that work was good. It's not like they did bad work but the oversight of the hubcap worries me. It's all the little details that count. If I go back it will be because of a worst case ontario.

Great customer service, great price, always had consistent, helpful staff no matter what store you visit in Canada. Don (store manager) always goes above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer. Been dealing with Kal Tire stores for as long as I can remember, same service always. Lifetime loyal customer.

Sent a family member to get a tire repaired from my car I was charges 26$ for patch and plug ...20 bucks labor and a 6 dollar patch . I'm an experienced automotive person tire was clearly never unmounted which means I was robbed for the patch.. and then when I went in to ask what the 26 dollar service should included i was told i was charged for a patch 6 dollars and I said it was never unmounted or rebalanced . His reply was we put a chalk mark on the rim and tire and just remount ..1. no chalk mark on my tire or rim 2 . No tire lubricant on my bead meaning even if it was unmounted then never lubed my tire before remounting . Conclusion I was ripped off and for a small town shop I would have expected better I was a faithful customer of kal tire in the okanogan and had all flats repaired properly unmounted and rebalanced ....But will not patron this buisness again nor recommend them to anyone I know or asks.

After driving with a donut for two weeks while waiting for my rim to come in there were some difficulties, spoke with the service manager and he made sure my vehicle was good to go. Big thanks to the service manager and the guys who got my vehicle done by days end, muchly appreciated!

I recently brought my Dodge Ram 2500 in for new brakes, it ended up needing a whole lot more work than just brakes. I was lucky to have the mechanic Andy work on the truck. He went the extra mile and took care of things that needed attention that I wouldn't have even guessed needed anything. It's hard to find someone passionate about their job and Andy is definitely that guy. By far the best mechanic I have had any experience with. Robin at the front was super helpful as well. I received the best deal and workmanship possible. Thanks so much guys.

Have being there few times, every time left with sour taste. First time they were repairing front and rear breaks replacing pads and calipers, broke emergency breaks and left it like this, once start driving off their lot, screaming noise come out from rear drums. Parts of emergency breaks was rumbling inside the drums. They refused to fix it, Canadian tire did. Now, tire repairs. Promised to get it done 4 times ( noon, evening, morning, in half an hour)....day later nothing.

Came in from out of town with pretty bad tires I didnt trust off road. They squeezed me in, gave me excellent tires, had job done in 15 minutes, and even cleaned most of the brake dust of my wheels all in one shot. Cost me money but wasn't more than I expected as I had a Jeep. Excellent shop, was referred by my friend to go there.

No roadforce balancing available. I have 35" tires on 20" wheels. Twice they said everything was fine, but my truck was still shaking like crazy. My wheels were out 5 oz's on one side, and 2 oz's out on the other side, as determined by Fountain Tire. If you have a lifted truck, don't trust these guys to do your balancing.

Recently needing new winter tires, I of course went to Kal Tire because of the honest service I continue to receive there. Obviously I was confused by the many choices and reviews but Brian, the General Manager, easily convinced me to purchase the best ones which happened to be on sale. Actually, the fact that the always friendly service counter employee Erika owned a similar set was the deciding factor and I have certainly not regretted that decision. I work for Enterprise Rent a Car and we are very pleased with the quality of work and prompt turnaround we receive for our many vehicles. Keep up the good work Kal Tire!

When called for pricing and appointment, I was put on hold and then spoke to person asking for tires, he said he will go check if they are in stock, then receptionist spoke said that he is with customer now and will call back. After an hour or so a different person called back and didn’t know anything about our previous conversation and what I was looking for. After I found the price of tires, I have asked if the shop doing breaks too and how much it would be for my car. I was told this is different person to talk to. When I asked if it is possible to talk to the mechanic, I was put on hold again and after 5 minutes, I was told that he is busy and have no time talking on the phone. I would expect better customer service for someone potentially spending more the 2000 dollars. Totally bad experience!

We had travelled from Saskatchewan to Kitimat, BC for a fishing experience. Parked my vehicle at the pier for the five days while there. Upon return from the trip, I found my vehicle had a flat. Tossed on the spare and made our way into town. I had picked up a screw on our way to BC somewhere. With a 20+ hour trip ahead, staying on the spare without a back up through the mountains was not a good option. Pulled into the Kal Tire and explained my situation and that I wanted my primary tire back on so I could have a spare for the journey home. Also mentioned how long a drive we had ahead and the bit of a time crunch we had as a result. The fella who was working the front, a manager if not owner operator, came out. Threw on his overalls and within 15 minutes had my repair done and my primary tire back on the truck. No complaints or suggesting we wait for a staff member to clear up before helping us. This was above and beyond! We are grateful as having that spare available again for our overnight drive through the mountains brought peace of mind! Thanks guys!!!

After a long weekend of paddling the Powell Forest Canoe Route, we discovered a puncture in one of our tires on the Monday of the Easter long weekend ahead of a long drive home to Victoria. Not a great way to end a fun weekend exploring the Powell River back-country. Thankfully Kal Tire was open and able to accommodate us and repair the leak within an hour of us showing up unannounced! The staff was outstanding and got us off on our way in time to catch the ferry and safely able to make the long drive home to Victoria on Monday night. Can't thank you enough!
