Travel through here for work...new airport...much better than the old one... gift shop...but only one place to get a coffee or to order something to eat...just like the old airport.

My first time here. Love the airport. Clean. Modern. Beautiful art. The drawback, the young lady at the Gate desk was a bit rude to passengers, including myself. For me, manners go a long way. But maybe she was having a hard day. But overall everyone was pleasant. In any case, this is a nice airport.

I flew up here during March, right after the new airport was built. I liked the new airport, and for such a remote area, it really is fantastic. All of the people that worked at First Air (now merged with Canadian North at time of writing) were very nice and polite. As an aviation geek, I do miss the “yellow submarine” terminal but it surely is an improvement.

The Iqaluit airport is a beautiful well kept and well cleaned airport even though it does not see the same amount of travel as other international airports, the art work through out the building is amazing and the staff is always friendly

Nice and clean but very limited food and drink options, food don't open till 12pm so if you are there very long before you will have to travel for food and drink.

First time to Iqaluit, flew from Ottawa, didn't know what to expect. Plane will park on tarmac so a short walk to main building, which is ok in August at 5°c, might not be so pleasant in Jan/Feb! Airport is clean , seems well organized, cabs outside if you need them, no complaints. Haven't done departures yet though!
