I had an incredible experience with Hope Towing. Granted I was park where I shouldn't have been parked, Hope towing was responsible for the tow and impoundment of my 32' 5th wheel trailer. I believed that it would be in a safe environment with all my personal posession's in the trailer. I called yesterday to ask about my trailer and was tol's that the new owner had picked it up. Here's the kicker, I had never sold the trailer and am still the rightful owner not to mention all my personal belonging's along with my wife and 22 month old sons clothing, toy's and personal info , wallets, purses, and more went along with it. Please do not use this business as you may encounter the same issues.

Sonia the dispatcher had piss poor attitude. Dealt with bcaa at first everything was good. Then had a bad experience with rhe company bcaa sent. Bad attitude on the phone. And wanted an extra 460 to drive an extra 98 kms over the bcaas 160 kms.

BCAA had Hope Towing dispatched for a short tow to get our broken down compact SUV from gas station to car repair shop. Unit arrived within the hour and operator Taylor did a great job loading from an awkward spot and getting us to auto shop just before closing. While we were assured by receptionist at shop they would look at our vehicle next morning they did not and stated they were unable to guarantee even to look at it within 2 days. Another BCAA call got us Hope Towing again so that we could be taken to Chilliwack for our necessary emergency breakdown service. Operator Jon promptly showed up to the Old Hope Road shop and professionally got us loaded from a tight spot. It was equally difficult to unload at Chilliwack but he maneuvered well in the crowded parking lot. We highly recommend this towing company and their wonderful employees.

on july 4 2021 at approx. 2:30pm we had the misfortune of having a deer hit our car 14kms east of Manning Park Lodge. The car was undrivable to say the least. Black Toyota Corolla .The gentleman that came from Hope Towing ( i believe his name is Don, i am so sorry if i have the name wrong,) to help us was beyond wonderful. He was kind and helpful. Fabulous service. I wish I had gotten the name of the tow truck driver. I had broken down in a Manning Park. No cell phone coverage!!! I had to walk with my dog along the Hwy till the Lodge to phone. The tow truck driver picked me up from there so I did not have to walk back to my car. He towed my car to Hope. There is no car rental service in Hope. I had to urgently get to Vancouver. To boot, it was a Friday. So the tow truck driver installed a new belt for me and I was on my way. He saved the day and my weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Drivers are ok but the owner is a crook and cheat, after having my tow dolly and truck towed to their location they refused to release my dolly forcing me to drive 4 hours to get a flat deck. The next day they called saying I can come back and get my dolly. I think that it would be fair to have them bring it back. He said it would 400$ then challenged me to take him to court. Unbelievable people like this exist.

Car died on highway 1 coming home on the long weekend (sorry), so understandably, there were some delays. We were towed to their lot where we waited for a driver to be able to take us to Langley. All the drives we spoke to were very helpful and got us to Langley that night. I also left my phone in the truck, and they held onto it until I had time to come pick it up. This would be a very high stress job, and they seem to be doing a great job at being dependable and professional.

Our car broke down at the Coquihalla Summit on July 16, 2020. Through BCAA, Hope Towing came to get us. Our driver, Jessica, was amazing. She was friendly, helpful and professional. Due to COVID, she could not keep all 4 of us in the vehicle so she dropped 3 members of our group off at Hope (with many helpful suggestions on what they could do) and then took me to a car rental in Chilliwack, where she proceeded to help me unload and load my car which was chock-full of camping gear. It put such a positive start to what could have been a very bad experience, and we still got to enjoy our camping after all! I highly recommend Hope Towing and Jessica in particular.

My truck quit on me and left me stuck on the side of the Coquihalla while towing a boat. BCAA dispatched a Merritt towing company since Merritt was 20 minutes away. I got notification that they were on their way. However, an hour later, they still weren't there. Tyler from Hope Towing happened upon me and stopped. He asked the BCAA dispatcher to hand the job over to him so he could get me off the road as it was a dangerous place to be. He had me out of there quite quickly considering he had to put my truck on the flat deck and hook up to my boat as well. He made sure my daughter would pick me up at the dealership that he towed me to as he would not drop me in a parking lot and leave. He even offered to help hook the boat up to my daughter's truck. We managed on our own though. He was an all round good guy and made a hard day better for me.

Wasn’t impressed. I ran out of gas 4 minutes before Hope. They gave me a gallon of gas saying it would cost about 90.00, then it turned out to be 117.96 That’s what I would expect maybe to be towed 20-30 minutes from where I need to be, but for a gallon of gas five minutes 4 minutes from town? 50.00 for the truck used. 39.00 for gas drop off. 13.33 for the gallon of gas. 5.61 gst 10.00 for fuel. Why are there three charges for gas?

Truck and trailer broke down at the summit of the Coquihalla, and we asked if they could tow both to our house, in Abbotsford, so we could load all our gear into our car and still make our camping reservation. In response to Greg Cromarty: Our policy is vehicles are released to the registered owners, if the vehicle has never been registered is it released to who ever provides proper documentation and pays the amount owing.

Today driving home in our rental van the brakes started to shake really bad. We were pulled over on the side of the hwy. As I was on hold with enterprise a gentleman from hope towing pulled up behind us to make sure everything was ok. After explaining what was going on he assured us the breaks were overheating and he could follow behind us down to hope! Saved us hours and hours of waiting on enterprise. Used bcaa to get towed to abbotsford from just outside of yale about a month ago. Our driver was super nice, but was too worried about himself. It took him over a half hour to get my car up on the tires, since I have an awd. It ain't my first tow so I know an experienced driver can do it in under 5 minutes(got it towed the next day and he told us he can do it in 2.5minutes) so I kept telling my BF he must be new. Which is fine except new or not, hot outside or not (it was 30 degrees Celsius), get the vehicle up and go, don't take a sit in the shade for 5 minutes.... we have been waiting in the heat for an hour and a half. Then to hear no a/c -_- fine but don't take 45 getting my car on... and use us to help you get it on. Anyways on our ride home he stopped 3 times once to "check my car" after going down a hill (he was smoking). Then twice after. 5 minutes to our destination we mentioned our animal in our car, he wanted to stop again for us to go check on it, we declined. Nice guy. Hill Billy 100% (don't tell customers about taking people's cars, that were left on the highway, to keep for personal use), needs to learn about giving good customer service not giving himself what he needs. Took around 3 hours from when he picked us up to dropping us off. And when dropping my vehicle he tore up the road... crazy. Needs better training.
