Very rude. Also, I’m pretty sure they tried to hurry my inspection of the car so they could blame me for the smallest speck on the window. I drove it 2 days and parked at work and they charged me 265 dollars to fix it. I didn’t even make that much the 2 days I had the car. I will never use Hertz again in my life because of the horrendous experience at this horrid location.

72 nd and 132 st location is one of the worse location. Overall Heartz will find every excuse to rip you off. Staff is uneducated and have no idea how to run a business. I will never never recommend anyone to go there. IF you want to ruin your peace of mind please go there. If you see good review must be paid or their own relative.

They rented me a KIA Rio after a collision in my Mazda 6. Definitely not a comparable car. However service was friendly, reasonably priced, and fast.

All was fine until I saw they charged me $30 for 3 days of covering my deductible. As we walked around the car, I was asked if I wanted added coverage, which I firmly and clearly DECLINED. Even as the agent continued to try to upsell me. When completing the form inside the office afterwards, I was asked to sign and initial on the form. As is normal, I expected I was initially my wish to DECLINE additional coverage, so I did. After discovering the charge the agent told me that this was to opt in for the extra coverage. In no way was this made clear. And in effect it was a sling underhanded way to have me charged even though I clearly did not want the coverage. A rental that resulted in me driving 9 km home, parking the vehicle, and driving 9 km back. Ended up with a $30 charge! Be very careful if you wish to rent from them, they are crooks!

For the second summer in a row I rented from the White Rock location and had excellent service. I was given an upgrade which helped make our road trip even better. I am absolutely happy to recommend Hertz White Rock. I even rented at the last minute with no problem. I do recommend you call ahead since it is a small operation and occasionally the staff need to leave the desk to deal with cars. Thank you for my great service!

I had an amazing experience with Amanjot at Hertz in White rock. He was polite, professional, and so nice to deal with. It was very quick in and out of the office on pick up and drop off. I also was given an upgrade without any extra charge. Super happy with the service and will use Hertz White Rock again for sure! Have had many car rentals in the past, best experience so far.

Unfortunately had to get a car from this location because the body shop i went to uses them. After returning the car they call me and inform me that they are charging me $300 to vacuum the vehicle because i supposedly had a pet in it and they found pet fur. I wouldn’t be against these charges if that was true but I don’t even own a pet. UPDATE: Contacted the main Hertz customer service via facebook, explained the situation and got issued a $300 credit.

I rented a car several times here when I was in White Rock for work. Each time the service was excellent. Everything was ready on time and the staff were always very friendly. They even went out of their way to get an item I'd left in a vehicle back to me and it was very much appreciated.

So it was EASY and convenient to rent as we had repairs occurring to our own vehicle. Customer service was major problem though. My wife brought the car back the following day to address low fluid and low tire pressure warning lights when we first picked it up. The idiot behind the desk said that wasn't his problem, and warned that the vehicle would have to be returned in the condition it was received! What an a55!!! Maximum Collision staff helped my wife out instead! Upon returning the vehicle, we inadvertently dealt with the manager who truly understood the concept of customer service. He made up for the idiot two days earlier when we described our experience. He deserves more than three stars, but only if he can get rid of the idiot(s) working there.

I just wanted to provide a review on Hertz, South Surrey. Aman, one of the staff members at this location is a great guy, he is professional, diligent and always goes above and beyond to help you as a customer. I recently moved over to Canada from the UK this guy has always taken the time to help me secure the best deals. Again, very thankful for the service you provide, I genuinely would not recommend anyone else other than these guys! Unreal service, you will not be disappointed.

I find the customer service very good - for example when it snowed earlier in January I specifically requested a vehicle with 4WW and they brought it from another location - however, they are sold out of vehicles at least 75% of the time I try to book. I don't know how something that simple cannot be addressed by getting more vehicles on a regular basis if they are constantly going over capacity.

Lack the basics of customer service such as greeting people. Agree with other reviewers about rude staff talking down to you and not listening. A shame ICBC has a contract with these guys.

If you're in need of a rental vehicle, go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. If I could give zero stars I would. Rude staff and horrible customer service. They will charge you for additional insurance when you are already covered. Disgusting scam artists. The associate I spoke to over the phone, Sudhir, was dismissive and rude. Not surprised they have such a low rating. EDIT: I contacted the main Hertz (via facebook) and explained the situation. They were able to investigate the matter and returned the amount I was charged. If you have similar issues, I would contact the main Hertz and try to handle the problem with them as this local Hertz is horrible.
