Am not able to say enough good things about this business. Family owned and they treat you like that too. Was renting vehicles regularly for four years while I was within walking distance to work. When I booked (or last minute) for weekend trips or shopping around town or a day of appointments. Always gave me best deals and even better vehicles. We rented a car from these folks, while on holiday in BC, late August, 2017. This was, hands-down, the best car rental experience I've ever had. All the staff are very professional and just tremendously nice. The value for the dollar was terrific, the much welcomed offer of a ride home upon drop-off, and the ease of all aspects of the transaction, will have us renting from no one else in the lower mainland. I highly recommend doing business with these lovely folks!

The customer service representative inspected the vehicle and stated that they closed the contract with no additional charges..suprise to find charges shortly after.when I questioned they denied even having the conversation . Not trust worthy and underhanded to make a couple bucks. Inspect your vehicles as well as sending a vehicle which is unsafe with issues is dangerous

SO NICE I had to get a rental car after my car was totalled and they were extremely nice and professional to deal with. ICBC wasn’t paying them properly and they were super patient and helped me out a lot until ICBC figured their stuff out. Highly recommend these guys if you need a rental:)

Great and friendly guys, my only issue is that 3 days after returning the vehicle a large unexpected charge was put on my card and they would never respond to justify it. My card company wouldn't help as the money was pre authoritised as part of the deposit. Really pissed me off!!!

I really like the people that work there and their personalities. The dude with the beard is how I wish all people behind a counter were every day. Got a few rentals from them now, both times I have gotten clean and proper vehicles that I've enjoyed driving. They are clear and concise with their instructions and walk around. After returning the vehicle, they were courteous and gave me a ride back to my truck. Super happy with my experience and thank them for how what felt like the mundane ordeal of getting a rental was reasonably fun. And the gave me some skittles one time I was there and they had a huge bag behind the counter being passed around.

Great team great service! Their customer service was top notch. We came early in the morning truck was ready to roll, which was fab as we had movers coming within the hour to pack and load. When the movers were leaving we realized the truck keys could not be found. I immediately called Canadian Truck...they said I could come and pick up an extra set. (I had a ferry to catch and the keys were found!) Then once on the ferry I realized the bill for the ferry, seemed quite high. So I called Canadian Truck again...they walked me through the truck details and how to share the info with the Chief Stewart so the bill could be corrected. Without their help on both occasions this move could have been a nightmare. We are so grateful. The truck had a smooth ride and it was clean. It was very easy to drive even in heavy weather, wind and rain.

Jeff saved the day for me when Uhaul told me to pick up my truck in Kelowna! He guaranteed me a 1 ton on short notice. It was a great truck that had a liftgate on the back which made getting heavy items in and out a lot easier. Save yourself the hassle, skip Uhaul and call these guys as they won't leave you hanging.

I've been searching for a truck rental, more than a week. When I called Enterprise, they couldn't give me details about their trucks tires, and said even though I book in one month advance, cannot guarantee I will have a truck to drive on the desired day. I needed a 16 feet mobing truck I found Canadian Car and Truck Rental. These people are amazing. They always answer the phone and are patient with all your questions. They are upfront and clear about costs. I had no surprise. You can choose from trucks that have a ramp or powerlift. To my surprise, when I pick up the vehicle, it was spotless and, DID I TELL YOU IT WAS BRAND NEW? (about 2500km on the board). One of the best things I aprecuate was that the interior was padded with wood. It prevents furniture and boxes from sliding around while you drive, in case they get loose. We went all the way to Kelowna and back and the load didn't shift at all. Of course I drive careful, but the padding is important. The truck was easy to drive, capable, and above expectations. Driving it was a pleasure. For drop off, they allowed us to park at their location, on Sunday evening rather than bring it in Monday morning and left the key in the drop off box. It was super convenient because we live in Burnaby and would have troubles coming back next morning. During check out, they found a chip in the windshield and rather than letting us deal with deductible, they gave us a really good by fixing it at a glass shop for $50. All together, I had a good deal and was treated with respect, fairness and honesty. What else could you ask for? Thank you for your service, Canadian Car and Truck Rental. We will rent from you again if the opportunity arises.

We had a great first experience renting from here, everything went smooth, the guy went over everything with me, I asked lots of questions to confirm things and costs since I had never rented from here before. Since that experience was good, I/we rented from here again. The second experience ended terribly. We rented a different truck, so yes I knew it would be a bit more expensive per day, but the cost ended up being astronomical based on the kilometres! I didn't ask as many questions when I signed out the truck since I had just rented from them the weekend before. It was 100% not explained to me that this time we would not have the same pricing on the kilometres. My credit card was charged over $400 in kilometre charges, the kilometre charge was more than the rental itself! I called to talk to them about this and they just told me I should have read the paperwork better, they told me I must have had a miscommunication with my significant other, they told me my significant other told them we were only staying local and they told me they did all they could to help with the cost and there's nothing else they can do. We will never rent from here again. Please be very careful if you ever need to rent from here!!

When I dropped the rental back off at Willowbrook Chrysler I had forgotten my disability plaquer hanging off the rear view window. When I realized this I immediately panicked and my husband called them. They were amazing! The guy named Jeff said he would mail it to me in the mail that very day. I was so very grateful. Amazing customer service so far! Polite, knowledgeable, confident—you really get the sense you're in good hands, whether in the lot or on the phone. There's something about this place, you can tell these folks are passionate about what they do and really care about their customers. I'm getting ready to head out of town for Canada Day long weekend and had been scouring other places trying to find something reasonably priced that wasn't a tin can since we're heading up the Coquihalla. Just about everything was sold out, a few places had small cars available for a premium rate, some as high as $120+ a day just because it's the long weekend! Anyway, called these guys and they've set me up with a Jeep Wrangler for the long weekend at their very reasonable regular rate. Gave me the total after tax on the phone, no hidden fees or surprises. And I can return it on the Sunday, lots of other places I'd have had to rent it until Tuesday because of the stat. Really impressed with David's help so far and looking forward to picking it up in a week. I'll post an edit at the end of my experience with an update on how it went. EDIT: Everything went better than expected. No surprises. 10/10 would book again.

I wish I had the chance to experience the great customer service that all the other reviews speak of. Unfortunately the nice man with a fancy sculpted beard at the front desk said it would be $1000 for 2 days to rent a truck. $1000 for 2 days truck rental. With so much competition out there I had to kindly decline the offer and go somewhere a little more reasonable for my small budget.

Place seemed pretty sketchy, got a loaner car from here while my truck was at the dealership. The car ended up having a very small but old chip on the black part of the windshield, along the bottom edge... very hard to see. I know what an old rock chip looks like, they didn't find it or ignored it. My luck it turned into a giant crack which I had to pay for. Not really worth my time arguing with them. The manager was very passive aggressive and had all sorts of silly excuses and stories of how he thinks it happened, really anything to avoid liability. If for some reason you do use them, I would suggest taking extremely detailed photos / videos of the vehicle before accepting it.

"NO UHAUL" Just use these folks.The 5 ton Hino moving truck is a pleasure to drive and very good on fuel. Staff are organized, polite and friendly.Had a truck booked with Uhaul a month in advance but was told to drive 200kms to pick it up (2 days before move). Sincerely wish I would have dealt with these guys to begin with.....lesson learned!!!

I strongly suggest people who rent a car from them to take a video when they inspect the car, they said we damage their truck which is was really NOT done by us. we rent their truck to pick up our travel trailer from the border to our home, whick is only 40 km away, we drove very safely. and we did not use it to anywhere else after we park our trailer at home. and when we return the vehicle, the agent who did the rental inspection said we made 2 dents at the lower corner at each side of the back of the truck, he said our travel trailer must had hit that 2 corners. it was very rediculious, if my trailer had hit the truck, they must be a big flat dent, not those small round dents at the corner, and pus those small dents are not facing us directly, it was facing 45 degree to the ground, how can my trailer make such weird damage? they teach me a lesson that we must take video at inspection next . but for sure we will not deal with them again. it must be make by their previous rental and they just happen to notice it at our rental. or I can say that they are very mean trying to rip you off for something done by others. even though the owner said just let go and did not charge me any extra for that. but it was a horrible experience!

I highly recommend this place if you're looking to rent a vehicle. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, and the car was very clean. Compared to other car rental companies I've rented from, it was very fast and easy. I was only there for a few minutes then was on my way. Great customer service too. I forgot to fill the car up before dropping the vehicle off and they were fine with me returning it late. They also offered me to wait for my ride inside even after they closed. Best experience I've had renting a vehicle.

Good service, except the digital gas gauge was not accurate enough. I ended up going to two gas stations to leave it at the same level. Ended up adding to much. The gage actually dropped after I added gas the first time. I mentioned this. " Oh they can be a little finicky." Ws the reply
