TL;DR: Price isn't everything, and consumer experience is worth a little extra. Leased my 2014 Cadillac ATS from here even though I live 80km away and have a local dealer, because I got the best price and they helped me combine different rebates and promotions. I felt like I got a good deal and didn't have to spend too much haggling. The salesman was friendly and open. Everything that came afterwards was less stellar, though. 1) I continued to drive the 80km to get my service done with them, because I preferred continuing to use their dealership. However, the overall service experience is not what I expected from my first Cadillac. Everyone was friendly and competent, but that's it. Even though I was coming from almost an hour away, there was never any offer of a courtesy car - I had to wait, even for a 4-hour service. I mentioned recalls to them at several occasions, because they weren't showing up in the computer. They tried to charge me twice for "brake service", even though my salesman clearly stated that service is included for the length of the lease - I had to fight both times. My buddy, who leased his Acura ILX - a cheaper car - always had a [higher-scale] courtesy car to expose him to the brand, they always washed his car before giving it back to him, and got a lot more personalized service than I did. He got another, more expensive Acura afterwards, and I left Cadillac. 2) When I dropped off the car at the end of the lease, I forgot my garage opener inside the car. I called *20 minutes* after leaving the dealership to tell them I'd come back and get it, but the salesman said "don't worry about it, I'll take care of it and send it to you!". Great. Except that 2 months later still no opener. So I called, and he seemed very disinterested - "Oh, they already picked up the car and it's gone, sorry." I would have rather he just told me to come back to pick it up rather than promise to take care of it and not handle it. 3) When they called me from the dealership post-lease to ask about my experience and I told them the above points, the agent cut me off mid-sentence and said "So basically you don't want to get another car from here right? Ok, bye". So instead of using my experience as a way to improve or even win back my business, as soon as he felt that he couldn't make a quick sale, he wasn't interested in what I had to say anymore.

Et si vous voulez avoir un auto de courtoisie durant les "réparations" vous allez prendre votre mal en patience parce qu'il n'y aura jamais d'auto qui peuvent vous prêter.

On m’a signalé quelques problèmes sur le véhicule, mais certains autres n’ont pas été détectés (bearings de roue ( pas identifié du tout) manifold (on m’a dit qu’il fallait changer une bolt à 5$, sans me dire que l’ancienne était brisée à l’intérieur du manifold et les complications s’y rattachant), suspension à air ( on m’a dit que le compresseur ne fonctionnait pas, et on m’a sorti le prix d’un amortisseur sans le compresseur. Finalement les 2 étaient à changer) et etc) me faisant perdre beaucoup d’argent. Au final, les réparations du véhicules m’ont coûté près de 2000$ plus cher que ce qui avait été détecté par ce garage. De plus, le rapport d’inspection consistait à une feuille rempli à la main. J’ai dû les recontacter à plusieurs reprises afin d’avoir un estimé des réparations… On m’a rappellé à 3 reprises à quelques jours d’intervalle afin de planifier un rdv pour les réparations de mon véhicule, mais pour me faire dire qu’il prêtait des courtoisies uniquement aux clients ayant acheté leur véhicule chez eux. La dernière personne qui m’a téléphoné était bien gentille et m’a confirmer l’erreur de l’employé précédant (pour la courtoisie) mais ma confiance était déjà perdue…

It lasts 2 years until I'm out of warranty and I end up paying for the repairs out of pocket! (Original) Très bon service de vente mais faites attention, le service après vente est mediocre. J’ai eu plusieurs problèmes avec un Chevrolet 1500 acheté neuf, et rien n’a été réparé même après l’avoir amené à plusieurs reprises. On me disait toujours que le véhicule étais correct... Ca la durée 2 and jusqu’à temp que je ne soit plus sur la garantie et j’ai finis par payer les réparations de ma poche!
