The employee was extremely rude and tried to rip us off. He did not accept my reservation and didn't rent me the car, even though I fulfilled the rental & legal conditions in Québec. My slightly older partner had to rent it instead and when he set up a new reservation, he knocked off 3.5 hours on the last day of rental, shifting our trip plans practically to the middle of the night. The car was fine but it had an almost flat tire that we consequently had to pump ourselves. When the employee told me to check for pre-existing damages, he did accept none of the damages I circled in and ridiculed me for looking precisely. Very unpleasant experience! Please double-check before renting at this place.

I took their insurance because I was not sure if I was insured with my credit card and the young lady told me that as I was taking out their insurance she was going to give me a promotion with the price of the car. I didn't ask myself any questions and just left. Note that I had confirmed on their website that the base rate had UNLIMITED km. So it was not my surprise when I see on my visa this morning almost $ 200 for a rental day, can you imagine? because yes I returned the car on November 13 at the same time. So I call Hertz, being surprised, and there a man who is so aggressive answers me by telling me that he was not there when I rented the car and that I only have to call back tomorrow when his colleague would be present. I have never been spoken to in such a tone, he was borderline annoyed by my questions and told me that he cannot help me. So I called Hertz customer service and escalated my problem to head office. I am waiting to hear from them to resolve my issue and will update you once it does. Donc j'appelle Hertz en étant surprise, et là un monsieur tellement agressif me répond en me disant qu'il n'était pas là quand je louais la voiture et que je n'ai qu'à rappeler demain quand sa collègue serait présente. On ne m'a jamais parlé avec un tel ton, il était limite agacé par mes questions et m'a dit qu'il ne peut pas m'aider. Donc j'ai appelé le service à la clientèle de Hertz et j'ai fait escaladé mon problème au siège social. J'attends de leurs nouvelles pour résoudre mon problème et je vous mettrai une mise à jour une fois que ce sera le cas. Mais si vous voulez un conseil n'allez pas louer de voiture avec eux car quand il s'agit de régler vos problèmes plus personne n'est responsable, si la jeune dame ne travaillait plus chez eux j'imagine que le monsieur allait me répondre tant pis pour moi elle ne travaille plus ici donc ils ne vont pas résoudre mon problème. Je n'ai pas à rappeler le lendemain par ce que Monsieur n'était pas là quand je louais ma voiture, il est tout autant un représentant de Hertz que la jeune dame avec qui j'ai loué, ce n'est pas mon problème si c'est Pierre, Paul ou Jacques qui a fait les démarches pour ma location car ils travaillent tous au même titre chez Hertz. Habituellement je loue mes voitures avec entreprise et je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes. Je me disais pour une fois essayer avec la concurrence mais quelle déception, je ne reviendrai plus jamais chez hertz

Le jeune homme à l'acceuil était très impoli et arrogant. Il nous dit qu'il ne reste aucune vanne et que tout ce qu'il peut nous donner c'est un pick Up parce qu'il " ne reste aucune vanne et qu'il ne peut pas nous construire un camion". Après plusieurs minutes pénibles, d'astination et de désespoir total il finit par nous trouver un camion le double de la taille. Nous voilà donc en route vers Montréal avec un camion démesuré et un goût très amer de notre expérience. Si vous réservez avec eux, je vous conseille de soit savoir conduire un camion ou d'être des professionnels à chialer. Bon courage et bon premier juillet!

Worst customer service ever. They purposely lock the gate at night so that you cant drop the truck off just do they charge you and extra day. Even if you drop it off first thing in the morning they charrge you for the full day then rent it out to another client and charge them. Really unfair and they dont seem to care. Other hertz on Ontario side are much more easy to deal with. No need for the rude attitude no customer service.

I've been a Hertz customer for years and was always satisfied with the company and their services, but not at this location! They have a strict rental policy where they count every minute of your rental, so if you return your car after their office has closed and drop your keys off at night they will charge you for one extra day. The parking lot also gets locked up at night and is not accessible. Very disappointed and will not be going back to Hertz. Too bad.

I made reservations via Amex (since I get a gold membership with Hertz) for a pick up truck. When I arrived first thing in the morning for my reservations, they told me they didn't have the truck. I could wait an hour for it or go get it myself out of province. By far, my worse experience with Hertz. I since used Alamo through Costco and receive seamless service.
