Booked car in advance from ireland using my debit card details. After week in Toronto we arrived with four full suitcases planning to go out of town for a week. My credit card didn't work (totally my fault) I had 3 debit cards, but they refused to take any of them. Standing in a middle of a street and nowhere to go we googled car rental places in the airport that take debit cards. Took a cab to the airport and asked for a car. Girl took my debit no problem, have done everything exactly the same way as guy in Hamilton- I couldn't choose a car (I understand that). Then I discovered I was renting from Enterprise also. So not only Enterprise refused to take my debit (I kinda understand) but they didn't inform that their branch in the airport take debit (which doesn't make any sense) In the end I've got car twice as expensive and a lot of stress. Not the way to run business and treat customers.
This enterprise is terrible. I cant believe how they charged me instead of my insurance. My insurance sent them fax/ email telling them to send my insurance the bill . They rather charge me from my credit card. I called them like 4 times to remind that and still I have not been taken care of. Its such a waste of my time and effort for something that I am not responsible. I should have never used their services and am never going back to this enterprise location!

Forgot my extended seat belts, staff said it wasn't there., staff called my insurance company to inform them that I was renting a vehicle cause I had an accident, which was false information, and caused me alot of grief!

Amazing! Our car got stolen and they were amazing. They talked to the insurance, let us know when we had to return the car so we don't have any "surprises ". We ended up renting for an extra month and they let us keep the same car for the entire time. Jeremy, was SUPER HELPFUL!
Terrible. We had a tragic death in the family and have it rush to NB this morning. Phoned in a reservation, made it clear that I don't use credit cards. Got all the way there to rent and was denied and rudely treated by management. Policy states that prepaid Visa, debit and cash can be used for deposits and payment with proof of address, Besides if I'm paying everything up front, why require it? Are you going to charge my credit card $30,000 for a wrecked car? No that's what insurance is for. They wouldn't do one thing for us and treated us like lesser individuals and even laughed about the funeral as if we were making it up. Terrible all around. Never again.

Six stars out of five! It’s not the first time I used this enterprise location. They have been very consistent with their customer service. It’s a busy location, but the staff are level-headed and do not compromise on the level of service. Here are a bunch of “acts of kindness” They will pick you up and will even drop you off! They will open doors for you, while most places wave at you from behind the counter. Even if they are busy with someone else and you are fifth in line, they will still acknowledge your existence. One time, I filled up the tank of gas because I couldn’t remember what was initial level. I was too lazy to go in the car to fetch the paperwork. When I returned the car, the rep said that I just needed half a tank of gas. He wrote me a credit for half a tank of gas! Today, they absolutely topped it off for me. I was rear-ended and dropped off my car at CARSTAR, which was less than 200m away (a two-minute walk for a three-legged turtle). Ibrahim, the assistant manager, STILL picked me up! Not to drop me off and do the paperwork so that I can pick up the car. He actually picked me up in the SUV that I was going to drive away with. This way, I can transfer all the loads of things from my vehicle. He also helped me with the heavy stuff, since it was difficult to lift after the whiplash and bruised knees. Pros: epic service by legendary reps. Cons: prices are reflective of the service, but that’s fair. Recommendations: Reserve online is best as this will speed things up.

I've rented cars here several times and it has always been a good experience. They will pick you up and drop you off before and after your rental.
Initially we were disappointed to have to rent a pickup truck but our lengthened stay in Halifax made that a two thumbs up being able to haul our bikes around. Especially appreciate the pick-up service, the Friday night drop off timing and the negotiating Enterprise did with our insurance company. Great service!

I booked truck RAM 1500, after arrival I get vw golf instead RAM for same money. Vw was dirty inside and also outside, tank only 5/8 full. I booked also baby seat - they did not have any... When I returned car (with approx 6/8 fuel) they asked If i was satisfied :D They ofered me 15% discount due to car change. After few days later when I checked my bank account I realized they charged me 30CAD more than original price... i sent them email why and there is still no reply from enterpriese..(3 weeks gone..)

you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them. - Seinfeld episode in real life. Rude manager named Jason suggested to take MID SIZE CAR instead of the PICK-UP TRUCK i reserved.
Had an issue with rental, they refused to listen and help rectify the situation. Very condescending attitude.
Generally car rental places are all about the same. Somehow whenever I rent a car it doesn't matter how much information I've already given them, it takes twenty minutes for them to enter it all again and try to upsell me on everything. This Enterprise location was different. The staff was super friendly and efficient. They got me into a car in minutes, even upgraded me. Went over the damage policies in the car more thoroughly than any other rental place I've been to (in a good way - I wasn't so concerned about minor scratches) and gave me a ride back to my house when I dropped the car off. I'd actually tried to rent from the other Guelph location prior to this but when I showed up at the counter with my American drivers' license they told me I needed to come back with my passport - something that I've never had to do at any rental place in Canada ever before. I decided not to give them my business and came here instead where, fortunately, they were much more reasonable. If I was renting in Guelph again I'd be looking here first.

Easy pickup - We found our Sydney and Baddeck drive to be easy, directions from the Enterprise people was a Google map, but it worked fine. Our return was a little iffy, as we found construction had blocked the name of the street that we needed to turn onto to go back to the Enterprise office. So... we found the landfill and took a tour around it to get back to their office! Thank you for your pickup and delivery to our cruise ship!

The people working at the store location were super helpful and friendly, however when calling to make the appointment for the rental we had issues with the representatives not giving accurate information including what is required for a rental. As the on-site staff were so accommodating we have been able to resolve this issue, however I feel that the representatives assisting on the phone need better knowledge about the policies and procedures regarding rentals.
Worst car rental place of all time. I think you need to change your paying options, cause most people use a debit MC or debit Visa. And they don't accept cash. How freakin hard is it to rent a vechical on this island. I'll make sure my opinion of this place goes viral. Imagine I came home for a visit and couldn't get around. Thanks for nothing.

Third class experience I ever had. They won’t provide me a car I booked and not even similar size. Every sales guy asking for a different money hold. One guy is asking 150$ deposit and then he went somewhere in the middle and then manager comes and asks 250$ deposit. Not educated staff. They don’t know how to treat customers. Please change the staff, specially manager.

2021-02 - We have heard nothing more. They were going to charge us another $456 but they haven't done so. We only lost the first $250 from the deposit they didn't refund. I hope they are doing a better job inspecting cars now, but we will never rent from them again. Review 2020-08 - We have been renting cars consistently about 6-8 times a year & have never had to deal with a situation like this before. We mainly rent through Avis and National (no complaints, both good). Enterprise (damage claim #16308052) we didn't damage their car & we are still waiting for a resolution. My husband and I rented a car and drove it 1.9 km to our home (we live in the same neighbourhood as their rental office). During the inspection Enterprise did with us before we took the vehicle off the lot, the employee went inside the car with my husband while I stood outside the car & waited. As they were writing up the paperwork on an ipad in the car, I could see a constant drip, drip, drip coming from the passenger side wheel well/housing. Since the car exterior was very clean I thought they must have just put it through the car wash & that the drip was water. We took the car home and parked it for 45 minutes in our driveway. When we came back out to the driveway we noticed it was still dripping & that it was leaving a coloured blueish puddle on our driveway. At that point we knew it wasn't water dripping from the car and that the car had an issue. We called Enterprise, but they didn't answer, so we drove it back to Enterprise and they gave us a different vehicle. The next day they called us and charged us for the damages, saying that we did the damage to the car that caused the leak from the washer fluid reservoir and at that time they said there may be even more damages to the car that we were being blamed for. The mechanic says that a crack to the washer fluid reservoir normally occurs if the summer fluid is not replaced with winter grade fluid when the temperature outside is freezing. This car in particular does not belong to the GP location, but to a Calgary location. They have not given us our $250 damage deposit back yet. Now it's October and they have billed us with about another $456. We know that the employees at Enterprise didn't inspect the car properly at ANY point before we rented it and that it shouldn't have been rented out to anyone in the state it was in. Now we are stuck with a battle with the company because of the carelessness by staff and lack of proper procedures by the company. They seem to have a big operation with lots of staff so I'm not sure why they are not inspecting vehicles properly. It could be that their procedures are to only inspect vehicles as they are going out, but that's not satisfactory given that they may not walk around the vehicles properly at this time and in this case, they say the car was just returned from Kal Tire where they say it was getting an oil change. There should be multiple times when vehicles are inspected (with all fluids topped up at the time of inspections) to ensure that all vehicles are in working order before customers take them. With this particular incident, they told us that Kal Tire didn't notice the washer fluid dripping at that time. My question is, was the washer fluid reservoir filled at that time, because surely they would have noticed it dripping. Also, why are they not inspecting the car themselves and relying only on what Kal Tire tells them is right or wrong with the vehicle? And why was the oil getting changed at Kal Tire for a 2020 car? Usually new cars get oil changes at the dealership. If anything, it only shows that they were not inspecting the vehicle properly on a number of occasions and that the only inspection they did do that was done with us, they missed noticing that the washer reservoir was leaking. Online I see bad reviews for Enterprise charges for false repair claims and/or damages. CBC has done a "Go Public Investigation." There are bad reviews on Facebook and Better Business Bureau site.

called in to rent a vehicle for my customer. spoke with customer service out of the usa. told them i need a car for my customer and that i needed to bring it to her. she said no problem the girl at the rental will explain everything to you. get there and it cannot be done because my customer has to be there. closed my office to drive to the location to pick up the car and it could not be done. not impressed at all. deceptive, misleading there are better less misleading place to deal with. not a professional place to deal with at all.

Worst car rental I ever met. We book a full size SUV month ago and called them 3 days before the scheduled pick-up day and they confirmed car was available. But, when we went to pick up car at schedule day, they told us they didn't have a full size SUV and only have mini Van and a smaller SUV, Explorer. Then, we downgraded and took the mini Van. But, again, the break of this mini Van had some problems. The staff is very nice. I understand this is not his fault. The three stars are for the staff who helped us.

I'm very disappointed and beside myself with the way enterprise handled my situation. I was provided a rental car service as part of an insurance claim where my car was damaged by someone. Enterprise was recommended by my insurance company to use the rental car service they provide while my car was in the shop. The car that was presented to me was a little outdated and did not have a lot of the features that my car had, so I asked if it was okay to change the car for an updated one. I dealt with a lady by the name of Monique who had no issue and was very nice and provided me with an updated car. First off, this is my first time having to use a car rental service since I arrived in this county 2 years ago so I am not aware of some of the procedures that should have taken place and my spoken English is not very good. For example, I now know that they are supposed to do a walk around of the car so they can document any pre-existing damages however this process never happened. Monique just handed me the keys and told me to sign and that was that. Great service...or so I thought. On the day I went to pick up my car from the shop I was told I could leave the enterprise rental there and I left the keys with a Carstar employee. I asked if I had to wait for enterprise to come and she said no, so I left the car there. A few hours later I was contacted by a enterprise employee who advised me that they "found" some damage and told me in short form that it is what it is and I have to pay for it. I tried to explain to him that while the car was in my care nothing happened to this car. He cut me off and told me that he didn't have time to argue with me because it happened and I have to pay. I asked to see the car and this damage that they claim I caused but he was not interested in working with me, instead they moved very quickly and he advised me that he already sent the car to the shop to be repaired and he could show me the pictures he took and that they already went to my insurance company to make a claim. This was the first time being notified of any damage that I know was not my doing, and they moved very quickly to ensure I had no say or options. Now this has gone to my insurance company without any explanation of what my options are or a chance to explain anything to them. I did not damage this car in any way shape or form and enterprise is trying to pin damages on me that are not my fault. After this whole ordeal with my car getting damaged and then enterprise claiming I damaged their rental, this is going to cost me more time and money and now lawyers fees. I urge anyone who thinks about using enterprises services to think twice. This is the first and last time I will ever use this company and I will make sure to let my friends, family and coworkers know never use this shady company.
Great place to rent a car
The staff was very pleasant when we went there. The place was cleaned and well organized. There parking spots are a bit small so it can be a bit cramped of you get a large truck or SUV from them. Only problem I had was the day we brought the SUV back was the day of a snow storm. There entrance to the parking lot is on a bit of an incline and they did a poor job of cleaning in that early in the morning. So If you know the weather is going to be bad plan ahead or you might not get up or stop going down.
The experience and quality service provided by Colin the store manager at the King St Hamilton location was top shelf. 5+ stars. Calm, caring and creating a level of satisfaction this is not common in most rental car locations. Colin is genuine, explains the process with clarity and setup my fundamental rental car needs with easy. Coming here was a breeze, truly. And now I’m gone with the wind, back on the road ahead of schedule. Great job Colin. Quality service of this nature is rare these days. He really cares. This man deserves a rai$e!
I've rented here a number of times and the experience has been flawless. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most recently, I needed to book a van for a long trip and I shopped around. The competitors did not offer unlimited Kms, but Enterprise did. UPDATE: A few rentals later at this location and others, I'm still impressed with the experience that Enterprise offers. The people are 100% service oriented and very accommodating. I'm trying to think if there's been a time when I haven't been offered a complimentary upgrade. Top notch.
We used this service quite some times and so far very happy. The cars are in good shape, prices are never a surprise in the end (very transparant before you sign the contract), and they often gave us a great deal too! Which is always a nice surprise before and/ or after a rental period. The employees are very friendly and quick. We recommend this place to many friends & family.

would not recommend this place as they have no respect for others time. Was supposed to be picked up at about 5:40 pm December 17th (close to closing time) but they left me hanging in there. Tried to call them several times but no response after that. Resulting in missed appointments and loss of time. Instead if they should have let me know that it's not possible today, if there's a better time tomorrow.. it's amazing how one instance can change ones perspective towards the entire company..

I called to inquire about renting a truck and was transferred to Brandon Gillis who is the Truck Branch Manager. After discussing various options and what was available Brandon went above and beyond to provide a vehicle that would suit my specific needs. He asked questions and listened to my concerns and then ensured the price would fit my budget. He even provided a courtesy shuttle service and picked me up at my house the day before I needed my rental vehicle! Brandon provided top notch service and made sure that I was completely satisfied. 5 stars all around for this Enterprise Location managed by Brandon Gillis. Thanks again!

Enterprise in Smiths Falls there was nobody there degree there was no business card to take and was very hard to find
I've been a customer here for 6 years. The service has gone completely down the drain. Last time I rented, I waited almost 2h for a vehicle. This time I specifically asked for a Caravan and got something else, and they refused to add my second driver because her credit card couldn't take a $150 deposit when my card already had a $250 deposit. They are inflexible and unapologetic and have lost a long time customer. Never renting from Enterprise again. UPDATE March 2019 - I had to use this location again because of an insurance claim. After telling me in the morning that there’s be a vehicle for me at 2pm and I could get a lift (I communicated I needed to bring a 3 year old with me in a car seat) - I call for the lift, there’s no reservation and they can’t pick us up because they’re too busy and hey close at 3. I find the customer service here atrocious. They are constantly understaffed and completely unwilling to do anything at all to make things work. Terrible location. Rent elsewhere if you can.

Very unprofessional. The guy kept ignoring us then answering phones and interrupting us. Headaches after headaches. Got here @ 7:50 as they open at 8am and now its 9 and were still trying to book a car we were the only people here to serve very rude to interrupt and answer calls and serve other clients that came after us! We have booked two days ago online for a jeep and they got the confirmation and now they say thetly dont even have it available ?!!! Worst service ever.

Went through an accident and Enterprise had a rental care brought to me very quickly right on the scene. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire situation (which took waaaaay longer than I could have imagined). I spoke to so many of you people there (wish I remembered names), every one of you went the extra mile to try and meet my needs with solotions instead of barriers. Very nice people to deal with, thanks!!

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. Rented a vehicle through them for several days for a trip. A few hours after returning the vehicle, it occurred to me that I had forgotten a personal item inside of the vehicle. Upon contacting them about it the following day, they completely denied the item even being in the vehicle. My personal belonging was confiscated and stolen by whomever cleaned and inspected the vehicle. Completely unprofessional and ill business practice. I will NEVER entertain the thought of renting from these thieves ever again. Renter be cautioned.

To start on a positive note, the customer service is great. I was given a rental car for a week while my car was being repaired. Unfortunately, I was given a car that was dirty, needed an oil change, and the Air Conditioner was broken. I took the car back to the Main St. E. location, and they provided me with a second car and apologized for the inconvenience. The second car was also very dirty and had such a terribly strong smell of urine that I could not stand it. I immediately took the car to the Upper James location instead and they exchanged it for a different vehicle after looking at the car and agreeing it smelled terrible. The third vehicle was also quite dirty, but at this point I ended up cleaning the vehicle myself and dealing with it for the rest of the week. The only positive thing I can say about this place is the customer service is great. However, the cars were a huge disappointment, and I cannot recommend to people in the future.

They've run out of cars to rent even though a reservation for one was made online. The conditions on their website do not match the practices at this location. For example, online it says they take a $200 deposit, but at this location they take a $350 deposit. When queried about this, the staff were not helpful at all, simply stating that they don't know why the website states a different amount. Sometimes staff have been borderline rude as well.
Although it is understandable that these trying times with the pandemic. I was made to cancel the online reservation as they did not have any cars cleaned and available. But the service felt very unempathetic to the customer’s plight.

Used this place to rent a car for the day whilst on a recent trip in the area. Friendly staff, efficient service, and great cars. They didn't have the car I reserved but I was given a much better spec vehicle and not charged anymore. The staff couldn't have been politer and there wasn't any hidden fees which makes a change for car rental services I have previously experienced.

The best car rental service in town. Had booked a Malibu or similar car in their website, for 4 days but when i went there to collect my car, they gave us a brand new 9km driven Chrysler 300. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Highly recommended????

Reserved a vehicle 2 weeks in advance. Received confirmation both the day of the reservation and the morning of the day the reservation was made for. When we showed up they didn't have a vehicle for us which means we have to reschedule the body work on our own vehicle. Not impressed!

The service at this location was great. We were only going to be in town for a short time. They picked us up as soon as we arrived and we were in our car and on the road in 15 minutes! They even had printed out maps and recommendations on our route. They made our visit convenient and enjoyable.
The staff is always friendly, and they are super accommodating! We rent with them almost once a week and they always have a clean car available on time for pick-up (or just a few minutes waiting) and sometimes we get a upgrade to a larger model if a car isn't ready.
They didn't have the car available. Had to wait a bit longer than usual but the staff made it worthwhile by loaning me a luxury car for the same price.

When I rented the car it was not cleaned on the inside. The dash was dusty, there was someone's sunglasses inside and I turned around and found my 5 year old playing with discarded batteries left behind by somebody else. I returned the car a few days ago and still have not received a proper receipt. An enterprise survey called me but then gave me some sort of error so I could not do the survey. Very odd experience and I was a little disappointed. I don't give very many 1 star reviews and try to have full understanding before I do so. It was poor service, plain and simple.

They have an archaic payment system that only swipes. The swipe on my card wouldn't work for them, however, it works everywhere else. Also heard another customer ahead of me having the same issue of their card not being able to be read when swiped. They couldn't manually take my card info, gave me no other options, and left me stranded and incredibly late for a work meeting. Went to my bank and they swiped my card and had no issues at all. Super frustrating.
I made a reservation on Monday, June 24, 2019 for a 7-seat car to be picked up on June 28, 2019 at 5pm. On June 28 at 4:16pm I noticed a missed call from Enterprise, so I called back, the customer representative on the phone didn't know the reason for that missed call, so I confirmed my reservation and confirmed that there would be a 7-seat car available for me, as I wanted to make sure I would have the car I reserved. The customer rep confirmed that the car was there. At 5:40pm I went to pick up the car and for my surprise, there was no 7-seat car available as other customers did not return the car. Now, I understand that this is not Enterprise's fault, but lying to a customer over the phone is not professional at all. I am travelling with a group of 6 friends, so I was offered a 6-seat car, which I accepted, and I wasn't even offered a discount for all that trouble. After reasoning with the other customer rep, I was offered a $40 discount, but that does not cover everything. The 6-seat car is fairly uncomfortable for travelling with exact 6 people, the trunk is uncovered, so I had to pack all my bags with garbage bags to protect from the rain. Again, I understand that other clients not returning the car is not a company's fault, but I could've been warned about that, the customer rep could've checked at other Enterprise locations or even other companies. I am extremely disappointed with the way this problem was handled and will not be renting at Enterprise again.
Excellent service, the shuttle to the garage and back was quick and really convenient and the people there are friendly and helpful. I also really appreciated the follow call that I received to make sure that I was pleased with my service. Highly recommend!

Very limited services, not very friendly and when asked for information, not helpful. These ladies were not my usual experience with Enterprise. To top it off, a dash of attitude and a smirk the whole way through. Avoid whenever possible, Cambridge office has way better service.

The staff here were really friendly and accommodating. I especially liked that they offered us a ride down town after we dropped the vehicle off... driving through traffic for us was something I didn't expect them to offer but it was super nice and I appreciate the customer service we received the whole time.

We exclusively rent with enterprise, until today. We had a rental set up with these guys and when our flight was late I called an hour before they closed and was basically told if we weren't there by 530 we wouldn't get our car. Since there's lots of paperwork and inspection, they'd have to stay late to do it. So I guess rent here if you want to have over 30 minutes of paperwork and inspections, but the budget rent a car on upper James took 5 minutes to do it. There was zero customer care or consideration in my conversations with this branch.
They get you in and out as fast as they can while mastering the art of small talk. I dealt with a couple young guys who were casual but professional. They put me in a Nissan Sentra. A quality automobile.

I have been looking for a car to rent for the last 4 days. The location near my home were just uncooperative so I came in to this location instead. I got taken care of by the director himself. I was really upset at the fact that my insurance company had booked me a reservation at a location near my house and i was on a waiting list for 4 days. I reached out to this location and I came in HOT!!! Kareem Tonge the director welcomed me in, broke down the issue for me and explained why certain locations would get longer waiting time due to the multiple rentals requests due to insurance claims they get. This good sir not only gave me legendary service, not only was very funny and friendly, not only was very professional but he was able to turn my frustration into satisfaction. He took time to demo all the different features of the car, he offered me additional insurance coverage products and made this experience painless. Thank you Kareem this was an amazing experience. Called to rent a car, was told absolutely nothing was available. Book it online, not a problem, availability at the location. Get there, can’t rent a car with a credit card and assign a secondary driver unless you have the same address, strange, have rented cars and done this plenty of times. So groups of friends renting a car together can’t rent unless they all have the same address or are married? I find this pretty ridiculous.

Service was very bad. I had a confirmed reservation but they didn’t have a car when I got there. I drove from Sherbrooke for nothing. No attempt made to restitute or offer me a different car. Won’t be renting from Enterprise again

The car and the rental process itself were fine. I have 2 issues: - I was told on the phone that this location would honor a price obtained on-line for another location. But when I actually went to make the rental, the agent refused to give me that price. It was too late for me to make other arrangements, so I had to accept the higher price. - When I told one of the agents that I would be driving to the west coast and back, he asked "as a favor" that I change the oil every 4,500-5,000 kms. He assured me that all I needed was to return the receipts and I would be reimbursed. I changed the oil twice during a 14,600km trip, and alerted them to the fact that another is due. Since my return, I've been told that they cannot/will not reimburse me, for various reasons, including: I should have taken the car to an Enterprise location (before the trip I was told this didn't matter); that the account is now closed; that they have no way to make this type of reverse payment, etc. How unfortunate: I took time during my vacation to preserve the integrity of their asset, and they want to play me off with technicalities. What kind of customer service and "Family Values" does this represent? I am now in the process of preparing a small claims case.

Horrible service, use another rental company. I searched for a truck to rent through the Expedia website. It gave me a list of available trucks and the rates. I clicked on one it had listed which made the most sense for me. I made the reservation and received a confirmation email through Enterprise that my vehicle would be ready for pickup the day I wanted. That morning, a couple hours before I planned to pick up the truck, Enterprise called and said they didn’t actually have a truck available. When I asked why (given that I was looking at the confirmation reservation in my email), the guy said that those reservations don’t actually reserve vehicles, and that there is no way for their system to know what vehicles they have in stock. This means that if you book a vehicle on their website which it says is available, and if you receive a confirmation reservation for it, it’s still possible that that vehicle is not actually here ready for you. And that’s exactly what happened to me. Horrible service, use another rental company.

Take forever to answer phone calls, book vehicle online and drive there just to be told they have no rentals available. Manager needs to figure out simple tasks and delegate properly.
My go to for car rentals in my home town. Enterprise hands down takes better care of me than other rental agencies I’ve patronized. They pick me up; i get upgraded and/ or get my pick of the available cars; I’m on my way in 5-10 mins with the best rates. US coverages as well. Good staff.

This place is the biggest enterprise available in Hamilton. The staff is very friendly and they are very efficient and helpful. This place is open in Sundays too. I always choose this place if I want to rent a car. Very convenient place compared to others.
This Enterprise location sends drivers out who park in bicycle lanes and block our active transportation infrastructure. The Hollis street bicycle lane is designated "no stopping" between 7-9am and 4-6pm. The city did this to help protect cyclists during rush hour times. Unfortunately, the Enterprise employees from this location do not care about this and would prefer to get tickets on their vehicles or have them towed, while putting safety of vulnerable road users in jeopardy. I spend thousands of $ each year renting vehicles for my business, but I will NEVER use this location.
I had a great experience UNTIL I had to deal with the manager. I rented a car for a weeklong trip to the US. The check-in process was fantastic and quick. The return of the vehicle was also seamless and fast. My problem was that within 10 minutes of me leaving the rental agency, I remembered that I had left my favourite pair of sunglasses on the dash. I called back and got the manager. Tyler Pynenbrouch. He told me he would have someone check and call me back. An hour later I called back and was told that they didn't see anything and questioned me as to whether I had actually even lost my sunglasses? What?!!? I insisted that I had indeed left them on the dash and was told the car had already been sent off to another location but that I would get a call back. Finally two hours later, after no return call AGAIN, I called them and was told the car had been rented out to a customer and nothing could be done. Pathetic! Quite frankly, I doubt as to whether not anyone even bothered to check the car in the first place. The fact that he didn't keep his word and call me back THREE TIMES makes it unlikely that they actually checked the vehicle any of those times they claim. I just needed to rent another vehicle today and choose to use the Orangeville location instead and suggest you find an alternative branch that actually cares about it's customer and keeping commitments.

I received exceptional customer service from this location! As a "young driver" I felt as if I was treated like a valued customer, not a liability risk. The assistant manager at the time, Chris, helped make the process quick and easy, as well as offering me a great value with their peace-of-mind accident warranty. Upon returning the car, I was a whopping two and a half hours late on my own accord, but the representative who checked in the return waived the late fee and even offered me a ride home on top of it all. Being my first experience, I would highly recommend this company and location to anyone else looking to rent a vehicle!

Aloha everyone. Enterprise car rental, not to be confused with space star ship Enterprise, offers so so, limited selection of cars at this location. Right off of Main Street in Hamilton, small rental office, uncomfortable chairs and damn, the management could call for interior designer. On the other hand there are three handsome guys there so overall experience balanced it out. Staff very friendly and professional, price wise, ah ok. I used to rent cars from Alamo, Enterprise and National a lot and I never paid a deposit. Well, prepare your wallet for $250 deposit plus actual car rental amount. And really there is not much more to say about it.....
I experienced hard upselling and hidden costs upfront which more than doubled my quote generated online and made me feel used and anxious throughout my trip. Then to add insult, my bill was $35 more than my final contract stated and I received no communication from Enterprise as to why. Also, why would you locate a car rental shop somewhere so hard to get to without a car! I will be exploring other options for next time.

Having never had to rent a car from anyone before, I can only say this experience was seamless. My husband and I were involved in a rather bad 1 car collision with a tree. The next day, our insurance provider (intact) set us up for a car rental. Not only did they respond quickly, (my husband was still on the phone with our provider) they sent someone over right away. Zehan was absolutely magnificent. Right from entering the car, he was polite, respectful and a real pleasure to interact with. He drove us to their office, helped us with anything we needed to know, and made us feel so welcomed and that we were in good hands. So in particular, thank you Zehan and thank you enterprise, I will always recommend you.

Just make sure you check over the vehicles real good because they will charge you for anything. I wont rent here again

This is the third time we rent from Enterprise located at 1020 St-Joseph in Hull. All 3 times, even though we booked beforehand (online), the cars were never ready and one time it wasn't even clean yet, delaying our itinerary. This last time was booked for Monday, November 24, it had started snowing and none of the cars had their snow tires on save a much more expensive van. We had no choice but to take the ONLY vehicle with snow tires and we were charged full price for it. We came back on the 25th in a big snow storm with a large amount of accidents, can you imagine if we'd taken the car we actually wanted without snow tires? We'll go with a different company next time.

I’ve rented many cars from many places but this specific branch is Top Tier. All the guys are super friendly, super assistive and supportive. Any issues I’ve had with vehicles were either readily resolved or they tried their best to fix them. They are super accommodating and flexible. I hate when I need to rent a car on the days that they are closed :(. These guys really bring out the “small family business” aspect that enterprise promotes and it’s great. To those who have said anything negative about this place, especially since March thru now, I too have waited a while for a car to be ready. I also have waited outside while customers are being taken care of inside. I too have had cars with issues. But considering that fact that they remained open...and with limited staff...during a pandemic...so that many of you could go up to your chalets or off to some weekend trips and holidays...or so that some of you could have a vehicle after an accident..or whatever the reason..I’m grateful to them. Great job guys!

First thing is for an area that promotes tourism as it's main staple it amazes me that on a Saturday you can not pick up a rental car past noon in August and when I asked about the possibility of having someone there for around 2 pm to get my car for a two week rental the person seemed mortified I would even ask such a thing.The price from the same company a few miles up the road at the airport was almost double for the same vehicle and that location does not answer it's phone anyway,not a company I would recommend or seek out myself again,they had no interest in trying to help a person out she simply said nope we are closed at two that day.And in this comment section you have to check at least one star before you can hit post,I did not want to give any stars to this type of customer service.

Following an unexpected car crash with our vehicle, the team at the Downtown Guelph Enterprise office were great to work with to secure a rental. The manager Ben Hoffmann was very helpful as were team members Jalisa and Jake. In particular, manager Ben went out of his way to support us for the 3 weeks that we had their car. Definitely recommend.

The staff here are 100% the best thing about this Enterprise location. I rent here regularly for work and they are always friendly and go the extra mile (or few) to ensure customers leave happy. The location has the best selection of cars for any rental agency on the Halifax Peninsula, has a good selection of trucks, and usually has at least something available (even during the busiest of times).

well at first this place was great, but then i got a ticket for their mistake. Yes i got pulled over because of Gatineau pirate police. But Mathieu failed to put the proper insurance papers in the car they were expired by one day. Either way it was only 60$. They said they would pay it but 4 months later they didnt pay it and the police come after me so I paid it. Mathieu failed to resolve his issue saying i should worry about it being on my driving record. Its a very minor offence so not worth fighting and simply not my fault. Lack of organization. Although it was not Mathieu who set up my vehicle it was him who did nothing to help. The other manager promised they would pay and lied never did.

The rates are great here. They often upgrade you to a better car bcz of limited vehicles. They can either drop you off somewhere if you return the rental vehicle and worried about getting home. The staff is friendly. Recommended.

Terrible! Do not rent from Enterprise at this location! Caution: They will charge you for damage they claim you did soon after you return the vehicle. They will not give you back the $250 deposit. Then you are left fighting with their corporate office. Enterprise has been investigated before, and fined for their shady business practices (e.g. CBC Market Place, etc). Be warned!!
I have only ever had extremely positive experiences renting vehicles from this location, which I use very frequently for work. The staff is polite and accommodating, and even when they were extremely busy I received top notch service. I would recommend these folks to anyone in Halifax looking to rent a car.

We booked car for 9 a.m. when we came to pick it up they had few options for us. We got Nissan. Was ok car for one day trip.
Everything went so smoothly. We fortunate to get an upgrade, which really was a big eye-opener to the quality of the Hyundai car we rented. Couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

Before renting a vehicle, make it your best interest to inspect and document damages. They tried to blame me for damages to the driver side quarter panel of a new 2018 VW Passat - They "lost" their copy of the pink vehicle documentation page which highlighted the damages to the passenger quarter panel! This I made clear to associate before signing any paperwork, her response was "must have came off the transport truck that way" Very disappointing experience and certainly do not like to take the blame for someone else's mistake.

Staff have excellent balance of friendliness, sense of humour and professionalism. I even was given a ride home after return with no notice when I requested. Kind and attentive staff. I really don't understand the customer damage complaints. If you signed the waiver that there was no damage then you are responsible. Caveat Emptor - Buyer Beware. The customer is responsible for the due diligence of knowing what they are purchasing (renting). I actually was in the same situation where I rented a SUV(Hyundai so nice) and we did a walk around everything was fine. Later that day I noticed the back door handle behind the driver had litte cuts like someone had pushed furniture against it. Hard to see unless up close. I wasn't charged. I highly doubt they wouldn't have known because they clean the cars. They would see anything done. I have never had any problems except 1 time the pick up was an hour late but the driver was amazing and cheered me up. Everyone is cool there and very helpful. One guy is a bit serious but that's okay as he is knowledgeable. 5 ☆ service, cars are nice choices. Thanks for the great service.

I agree with the last post. Kareem, the manager, is amazing and goes out of his way to offer the best customer service. I've only had great experiences with this branch. But they do seem understaffed. It's too much for one-or-two people to handle such a busy branch on their own - and, despite their brilliant efforts, being short-staffed does slow-down the service.

Staff was very friendly and did not push any extra coverage. Simply gave me the facts and let me decide for myself. The car was given to me as a temp for my car to get repaired through insurance. When I got to the location to pick up the car I unfortunately was not given a choice of what vehicle I would like. I don't know if this is because they had no other options or what. I ended up getting a 7 seat SUV when I usually drive a 4 seat compact. I would have liked a choice but overall the experience was good.

If I could mark a no star then a one star I would. I WILL NEVER rent from this place ever in my life again!!! 1) They gave me a car in the winter time that was NOT winter drivable (scariest trip of my life) 2) Someone keyed that rental car, wasn't alot of damage at all, I also made a police report, but I live in a small town where not many places have video surveillance unfortunately. I also called this rental company to let them know what happened, and the lady I spoke to said if its surface scratch don't worry about it we'll deal with it (which it was all surface scratch, easily repairable). When my veicle was ready, I took the rental car back as soon as possible as I was nervous to drive it in the wintertime, and the employee from Enterprise came out and had a look and reported the damage, I told them to send me the bill and NOT to go through insurance. When I got the bill I was shocked at how much they charged me for very minor damages. it was $1228.43. I regret to take the car back as the place where my car was getting fixed quoted me under $800 and also told me that if the Enterprise wants to charge me more then $800 then they are insane, I should have got the veihcle from enterprise fixed where my personal veihlce was getting fixed and paid that autobody flat out rather than deal with Enterprise and there filthy ways! Well needless to say I gotta pay the $1228.43 or they will be taking me to the credit bureau. So crooked!!!

The car was not as expected. We drove it around the corner then was told no refund. Jenny the manager told us she didn't care if it felt too small we already paid. So we left the car at the lot and went out by foot.
These guys went above and beyond to make sure I had the best rental experience. After being involved in a stressful car accident, they made the process of getting a rental so seamless and stress free. I was picked up and dropped off at the auto body shop my car was at. The staff were so friendly and polite, and when I had a slight concern about the car I was given, everything was sorted out immediately. The vehicle I was given was in pristine condition and still had a “new car” scent. I really enjoyed driving it while waiting to get my car back. Will be back if a rental is ever needed again!! Would highly recommend.

After multiple really annoying and unhelpful experiences renting from Driving Force in Grande Prairie I was desperate to find a different rental agency. I was delighted to find out Enterprise offers tricks for rent with first aid kits and fire extinguishers available for an added cost. When I called on Friday I needed a truck for Monday, and the staff (Kofi) put in an enormous effort to make sure I had a truck for Monday morning. Kofi has incredible customer service and made sure I had what I needed and was informed of everything through the process. Big thanks to Kofi and Enterprise for providing such a great experience! I’ll be using Enterprise in Grande Prairie from here on in!

They were great. I was in an accident and my insurance company provided me with a rental. I was told to bring my car in at 11:00 to the repair shop. I got a call from Enterprise literally 10 minutes after saying they had a car ready for me to use. Picking up there were no issues and dropping off, there were no issues as well. Great service!
Vehicle was very clean and checking in was easy. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the gas tank was only half full and I had to return it at least that way. It would be much easier for customers to receive a vehicle with a FULL tank of fuel and return it that way. Whenever I have rented other vehicles the tank was always full and I returned it that way.

Just walked out of this Enterprise location. I like Enterprise and they are generally my go to location. Additionally, I like how they will offer you a ride locally. This was a weekend rental and I had made a 4:30pm reservation on Friday. I didn't receive my vehicle until long after 5pm. ???? Returning the vehicle today, before 5pm. I asked for a ride locally to pick-up my car which had been in the shop. Sorry, was the response, I needed to be at the location before 4pm in order to be offered a ride???? Where is that stated? Where did the Enterprise customer service go? ☹️ VERY upset as I now have at least a 3K walk to the shop to retrieve my car. Glad I wasn't counting on Enterprise to drive me to that address in time. Thank goodness I stopped there first to ensure I had my keys! Enterprise, I am not a very happy customer, and I will be sure to forward my comments to Head Office and share them with friends when they have a choice of car rental companies. Very dissatisfied customer.
Very Disappointed. I own a collision center. I direct all of my customers to the local enterprise location in my city of business. If my customers were given a vehicle( I rented for two weeks) in the shape I received it, I would not direct my customers to that location. Due to my travel itinerary I was unable to return to that location to express my displeasure with the cleanliness of the interior of the vehicle. dust all over, greasy fingerprints on door panels, sand on floor front to back, suction cup marks all over windshield, garbage under seats. I emailed the assistant manager as soon as I was able. It's been over 2 weeks and have not heard a word. Definitely will not use this location again or recommend it to anyone.

The online reservation system accepted my info and booked a car for me. The next day I got a call from the local office advising there were no cars available. I arrived in the GFW area and visited their office to let them know I was in town and needed a car. Still no car.. However a short while later I received a call. They were able to provide a car, so thanks to the GFW office for their help in making my trip to the area much better than it would have been without a car. Great service and thank you for your help.

Positive: People were very professional in customer service and dressed professional. Pro team environment for sure. Provided me with literally a brand new truck to rent also. Negative: was told at time of rental that they needed $150 deposit (a company had arranged the rental for me to use) on debit/credit from me until I returned it. Understandable. They said it would be refunded to my card when returned. However upon return they said their policy changed and I had to wait for a check from head office....
Management and staff at the Sydney location are exceptional. I have rented several vehicles from Enterprise and have never been disappointed.

Made reservations for a BMW330 a week before due date. Was delivered a Mercedes CLA250 2018. Very disapointed. This was not an equivalent, and all day I could see why... But Kareem was cool and applied a 20$ rebate when I returned the car . I must say the staff was 5***** from my entering the premises till the end of the day. Nice team !

The staff was friendly and made renting a vehicle very easy. There was a little problem between the national and local level. The national level made my reservation and provided a reservation number, however at the local level they didn't have a vehicle they could give me until end of nest business day. My advise would be to phone the local office to see what vehicle if any is available.
Vehicle is dirty. Muddy under doors and door sil. Steering wheel dirty, wiped down with Lysol, very nasty. Seat backs muddy. Carpet dirty with dog hair and food under seats. Vehicle has very bad tires. Only 3/4 full fuel. No heated mirrors this is a hazard. Asked fir different vehicle and 2 weeks in and no change. These vehicles are to be clean and disinfect for covid? Yeah not happy..
Bad experience, those guys just charge you unreasonable amount for their damage repair, 2 little scratches cost me 1.1k. Never go to this rental.
Monique from Enterprise Car Rental was waiting for me at Waterdown Auto Collision when I dropped my Mazda 3 off for an estimated 3 week repair. The rental car provided was clean, but smelled a bit of cigarette smoke (it does say "No Smoking" inside, but some customers don't care). I knew the odor would bother me, so I asked Monique if she could possibly provide another car. She was more than gracious, even giving me a choice of a few to pick from & then dropped me off at home. She returned within 45 minutes providing me with a much nicer vehicle. Monique was gracious, amiable, and didn't once make me feel like I was causing her an inconvenience. It's this type of service that one can truly appreciate. Well done.
They booked us in a smaller vechile then was needed and did not accomadate us at all. The car they gave us also had poor air conditioning. Will not book here again.

We rented a vehicle last month and had a fantastic experience with both the agents. The vehicle the booking was simple online and everything was seamless at the pickup and drop off. I needed to book a second vehicle and I was having issues doing it online, I called the local office directly and even with the 3-minute hold time I received quick and efficient service. I was able to book my rental right away over the phone for my upcoming trip. I am very pleased, and we shall be using this branch for all of our upcoming trips !

I boooked a car at this location at 1:10pm asking for them to pick me up for 4:45-5:00pm. The man on the phone took my information and advised me that someone would be there to pick me up at that time. I did tell sales person that time was very important to have a driver arrive at the right time. I got a call at 5:00 pm from a driver and she advised me that the car is ready to leave there office now. And asking for more directions of how to get to my address. ( the office is 20mins away from me) I explained to the driver that she was supposed to be at my location right now. She then tried to explain to me that “ it has been very busy day” at the rental car agency. If I did wait for this person to pick me up it would make me an hour late for my appointment that I had made. In conclusion it being busy at there office is NO excuse for leaving someone stranded. If you tell someone a time and it is agreed. BE THERE ON TIME! They had four hours to be ready to pick me up on time. I would advice supporting another agency, maybe they would be there when they agree to be.
Really bad customer service. Would not allow any other methods or payments or accept my spouse's credit card for the initial deposit. New employee didn't seem to have much knowledge. Will never attempt to use this car rental agency again. Discount Car Rental Gatineau was wonderful and willing to use my spouse' card and will be my go to with future car rental needs.

I love this location. I am there almost on a weekly basis with my husband and the guys there, Kareem and Alex, do an incredible job trying to accommodate every single person. Their customer service is impeccable, though you can tell they are very much in need of more staff!!!! Many times they are by themselves, with one in the front and one in the back cleaning, even sometimes doing both jobs alone. Kudos to both of them, they have a tough job.

The total disregard for the situation from personnel sealed the fact that I will not attempt to use this company again.

I come from downtown Halifax to go to the Kempt Road location, there customer service is top notch. I was recently waited on by Viola and Peter and they were fabulous. I had rented a car for Christmas break, and they asked if I required winter tires. Now I assumed as a rental car place...in Nova Scotia....in the winter would provide those regardless...but anyways, I did require them. Though when I came to pick up the vehicle I was told that winter tires were not available but they had a Jeep with All Season tires, and 4 wheel drive, which were equal to winter tires... Needless to say, we ended up getting a warning from police officers because our tires were spinning snd werent safe in a snow storm, we got stuck in a ditch and my husband had to miss work Because we could not safely make the trip home due to the tires. I was not happy. I brought the car back and Peter was understanding as to why I was upset and managed to give me a great discount that will keep me coming back to this location!
I can not describe my experience here as anything less than a living nightmare. Even if you booked your reservation a week in advance, the staff only shows up here when they feel like it. I was stranded here for 3 and a half hours before I was given a truck that was filthy and full of trash, which I refused. I then was driven to their other location so she could wash and clean another truck for me. My reservation was for 4:30pm I didn't leave till 9pm...

If you're under 25 don't book online. Call and ask them to detail all fees. I'm 23 and my charge was very different then what was estimated online because of my age. Also show up earlier. First come first serve so you're more likely to get the car you asked for.
Customer service was overly friendly initially and had picked me up so that I could grab my rental. The car itself was filthy but didn't care as long as I wasn't expected to bring it back clean. The drop off experience was a whole other case and I was forced to wait over 30 minutes to drop off the car and a ride home was not available even though o was assured one.

The staff is rude and they have no idea how to deal with customers. I have been renting with the enterprise for years but have never seen anything like this but in SYDNEY, NS. Staff talk to you as if they are doing you a favour by giving you a car ... yes in Sydney it might work as there are limited options but not for long I suppose.

Came in on a cruise for the day. A bit of a challenge getting picked up at the port. Van showed up quite late, and would only take drivers back to the office since there were so many people waiting. They should have sent more than one van. Obviously, this meant that I had to go back to the port to pick up my wife after picking up the car. Once I got to the office, the experience was quite positive. Without a doubt, the most personable and professional car rental agency staff I've ever encountered. Vehicle was clean and operated perfectly. Rental return process and getting back to the port all went smoothly. Overall very nice experience.

Unorganized. Horrible customer service. I cant even begin to describe the service I received at Enterprise this morning. General motors had reserved a courtesy car for me at Enterprise due to a re-call on my vehicle, they had told me that the car was ready to go first thing in the morning. When I had arrived at Enterprise this morning at 9:15 after dropping my car off at GM there was 1 other person in there waiting for a rental, when I went to the desk the lady behind the counter began to serve me and switched me over to a man. He began to tell me the process, told me I had to put $100 deposit on my credit card. I then replied I don't have a credit card and no I do not because GM is suppose to be taking care of all this, due to the fact it is not my fault there is a RECALL on my car, I didn't plan for this to happened but it did. He then got on the phone with GM and started to speak French not realizing I am fully bilingual, he said well I cant because she is under 25. When he hung up the phone he told me he was not giving me a car until I put a $100 deposit down, I then said I only have interact and asked when I drop the car off you will refund me right away right? he then explained that the refund would take time up to 10 days and so on. At this point he started serving other clients that were walking in after me, told me they had a reservations and had to get them their rental cars (I guess I was wasting his time with questions on why I had to give them $100). After he finished serving other customers he came back to me I was so fed up at this point I just did the $100 deposit I would call GM and deal with it later I just wanted to get out of there. After doing the deposit I thought I was well on my way out of this place BUT NO, he then explains that they had 15 people show up this morning with out a reservation and they don't have a car for me at the moment. GREAT. It doesn't end there after waiting and waiting a car shows up, the one they are planning on renting me. When he goes out to check it comes back in and tells me he has bad news.... it needs an oil change I will have to wait AGAIN. After waiting there well over an hour for a car that was suppose to be ready at 8:00 am set up by GM, I couldn't even describe how upset I was. The man that was serving me lacked customer service he truly made me feel like it was my fault they didn't have a car that was reserved yesterday for me, by the end he could tell I was upset and he was a little more polite asked me where I worked I told him a hotel and he replied oh so you deal with this stuff to, I said no we don't allow this stuff to happen at our work place. Customer service is NUMBER ONE priority in any business and today I was not treated like a customer and clearly did not receive the right kind of service.
All my experiences thus far have exceeded my expectations! I love how Enterprise will pick you up and drop you off before and after your reservation. This location has very friendly and professional staff and managers. All the cars I've driven have been clean and well maintained. I'd definitely recommend this location above local competition!

The evening of July 1st, my clutch blew on the 401 (of my personal vehicle). While in the tow truck, went online and successfully reserved a vehicle for the following morning. When I arrived to pick up the rental, I was greeted warmly outside and within 10 minutes was on my way. Upon my return, I was greeted with the same professionalism. This was my first rental after restrictions were lifted. The vehicle had a clear check list of how it was cleaned and sanitized whereby any reservations I had about renting a car, were put to rest. With thanks to the 'whole team' at Gordon, for working together to provide exceptional service once again.

En plus que le jour précédent j'avais pris la peine de les appeler pour confirmer le type de véhicule que j'avais besoin. NE LOUER PAS CHEZ ENTERPRISE SI VOUS NE VOULEZ PAS GÂCHER VOS VACANCES.

I called on a Thursday to reserve a Minivan for the following day and (due to past experiences) asked the booking agent to verify that the vehicle would be available for 8:30am. I was told that it would definitely be available and that I could even schedule an earlier pick-up if I wanted to. When I went to pick up my vehicle at the arranged time it was not available. Once the arrangement was made to provide me with a different vehicle, I was able to get on the road over an hour and a half later than expected - almost totally ruining the plans that my family had made for the day while whey were visiting from Chile and New Brunswick. Yes Enterprise, you “upgraded” our vehicle from a minivan to an Expedition but don’t act like it’s some special, over-the-top offer; you guaranteed the original vehicle would be available in the first place. The bigger vehicle just means that I’m spending more in gas to drive around and be an hour and a half late for everything we had planned for today. Thanks for wasting my morning.

My experience with Enterprise in Guelph was nothing short of fantastic. I wish I had gotten the name of more of the employees I dealt with but everyone was very accommodating, helpful and friendly through the whole process. The only name I caught was Addison, who appeared to be a manager. He took the time, even though he was very busy, to let me know that dropping me off at home after my return was an included service, which made my day. Once again, I couldn't be more happy.

Had a truck rental from enterprise through insurance. I asked for a cheaper vehicle so I could extend the potential time I would have the rental for. They said they had no cheaper vehicles available but that I would be put on a waiting list. That was two weeks ago, haven’t heard from them since and when I returned the rental, there were several small sedans in the lot. Seemed like a cash grab, meanwhile, I’m carless for the next week because it’s still in the shop. Never ever renting from here again!

I rented from downtown location for many years always had fantastic experience. Unfortunately the last experience has been absolutely horrible since February 2020. Vehicle was returned and the 0 balance email WAS EMAILED to me after payment was made on my credit card like had happened many times in the past. Few weeks later I receive a bill in the mail for a balance owing of 524.00 from ENTERPRISE HOLDINGS. I went directly to downtown GUELPH location to ask what was going on but Covid 19 had shut down this location. I left many messages that there was an error made. I kept receiving letters stating that I was refusing to pay my balance. THERE WAS NO BALANCE I HAD A ZERO BALANCE RECEIPT!!! I left voicemails then sent emails. Received in the mail Sept 2020 that Enterprise Holding had sent my debt to CREDIFAX COLLECTIONS STATING I REFUSED TO PAY MY DEBT! I emailed them a response they had another agent contact me. I emailed that agent and they had yet another. After speaking with a lawyer they told me that I can ask for them to prove I owe the debt. So I did this and CREDIFAX sent me the NEW bill that was sent to me. I sent them my 0 balance receipt. CREDIFAX sent me: ENTERPRISE SAID THAT THEY SENT YOU A ZERO BALANCE ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAD TO WRITE THAT DEBT OFF, PAY YOUR BILL AS THE INTEREST KEEPS INCREASING THIS AND YOU HAVE TAKEN A REAL HIT TO YOUR CREDIT. YOU TELL ME CUSTOMERS? When you rent you put a deposit correct? When a car returned ENTERPRISE will run balance on credit card and send the receipt. The new bill ENTERPRISE HOLDINGS sent me does NOT show deposit made. My credit bureau took a nose dive and because my mortgage is through a broker my interest rate tripled. CREDIFAX has been horrible and rude and adding interest to this amount. Equifax removed this after their investigation Dec 17, 2021 and my credit went up 100 points. Last night I received notice from them that my credit is down again as I now have collections on my report. So all they do is report a collections again. ****Not to mention in the three months I rented I was asked to return the vehicle two different times stating they had sold the vehicle that I was in. They were annoyed the second time I returned for exchange as they wanted it the next day. I was a five hour drive away for work. All this while the engine in my own diesel had blown due to an oil change from a Guelph company who put regular oil in my vehicle which is still a lawsuit ongoing due to Covid. Thankfully court is by Zoom now and because my mortgage rate is so high I am forced to take this matter to small claims court. I have reached out to managers and employees over and over but seems heavy turn over in employees and nobody bothers with me. I have ALL receipts I have all emails I even have emails from this location asking me to return cars during my rental I have all emails I sent to ENTERPRISE Holdings I have all emails I sent to CREDIFAX I have copies of Equifax investigation and email from them if their findings and email from CREDIFAX adding me to collections again. I contacted consumer Protection Agency and today will be sending me all my info. Unbelievable what I have been thru! FYI I rent from Budget Guelph right next door last summer for two months and they were great!

I rent quite often from you and had never had any problems , until the last one, the car window was not clean it had some kind flim on it like smoke or something not quite sure ,after picking up the car after 5 pm I started out on the highway and that's when I realized, I could barely see I had to drive for 1/2 hour home .other then that one time no problems at all, I like the weekend specials which I always get and the unlimited miles in the maritime's

My partner had a rental for a full month from them while his car was getting fixed from an accident. Service was great, quick and easy. The car they gave him though had all season tires on, and in a Newfoundland winter studs are definitely needed. The car got stuck at stop signs, traffic lights, parking lots, in our flat drive way, slid around multiple times on the highway even with driving with majorly reduced speeds. He feared multiple times for his life while driving that vehicle. And the only reason I see why they don’t have studded tires is because of cost, they cheaped out. Even the loaner car from the garage that he has now because the rental was up has studded tires. Not impressed at all. Do not recommend a rental from them in the winter time.

However I was over billed an additional $381days after. When I called to find out why I got nothing but a run around. Buy there “insurance “ and do what ever you want to the cars. I will not be doing any future business with these thief’s and fraudster’s

Excellent service. We needed a car for 3 days and Jeremy did everything possible to get us a car sooner than later. When we returned the car, i just said “now we’re homeless and carless” for 2 hours before getting a cab to the airport. Lidia offered us to keep the car for an hour, FREE OF CHARGE, so we could maybe have lunch and a/c during this time. We will definitely use and recommend enterprise. Thumbs up ????

Went to pick up my car from an online reservation and they where checking me in with my credit card and license and then said sorry we don't have a car for you. So I said nothing, no upgrade or anything? Nope sorry and basically bye. Have never experienced this in all my years of renting vehicles. Not impressed at all. Wondered down the street to Budget as a walk-in and they set me up and walked out in 10 minutes. Get your act together Enterprise.
Horrible customer service at thier counter, they are not helpful at all and dont seem to care. On my way to Avis. They are assisting me with no issues ay all. Ive been a long time client to Enterprise but will never deal with them again. Avis all the way with cheaper pricing.
The manager Chantal has definitely displayed emotional labour(empathy) with incredible customer service. Very pleased with the service of her team. I will be back to rent as a result.

When my car was sent to the shop for repairs after a hit and run my insurance company arranged a rental from enterprise for me. The staff there were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process and made sure to constantly check that I was satisfied. Despite absolutely hating driving rental cars it was a positive experience, the only reason it’s not 5 stars was because I think the glass coverage rates are way too high.

I rent from this location quite a bit and my experience has always been positive. Staff are attentive, professional, polite and always friendly. Vehicles rented have always been clean and well maintained. The shuttle service is a plus and the downtown location is also very convenient.
Favorite car rental place, especially the one on Kempt Road. They do their best to get you on the road quickly and efficiently with little delay. They also work to resolve any issue you may have with your car right away.

Rented our car from this location. Everyone was great. Only minor complaint is coming from Winnipeg and trying to pull out of the parking lot that's so steep is a bit of a shock. We live in a land of flatness. But yea was great!

Trent and the staff at this location are alway pleasant and eager to make your rental experience efficient and enjoyable. I first rented from them after being rear ended and needed a car while mine was appraised. I was in and out quickly and the car was clean and ready to go. I have rented from them twice since when needed and both experiences were extremely positive. The pick up service offered here is an added convenience and makes drop off a breeze. I can’t stress enough how much the staff work to make sure that you are happy with your rental. Whole heartedly would recommend them for your rental needs. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the worst place to book the cars. They will take your bookings and cancel at the last moment. If you ask them, they are rude. You must book at this location if you want to be abused.

Such a great experience at this enterprise location. Kareem was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely helpful and reassuring. I had come in to get a rental vehicle through my insurance company after my accident and he made the process stress free and very simple. I will definitely be directing my friends and family to come see Kareem in the future for any rentals they may need!
This Enterprise location has a delivery driver who parks illegally in bike lanes and then laughs it off when cyclists complain.

This branch has the worst customer service I have ever encountered! Branch manager "I" has no patience with women to the point or an attitude of disregard, does not disclose with clarity extremely relevant information when making a transaction which then ends up biting you in the butt. They will not work with you to make a situation that was caused by one of their own employees better. Their favorite word as an answer to anything you say is "unfortunately". Their employee who caused all this trouble "R" experiences no consequences for his mistake, but the consumer is solely held responsible for their employees mistake. Seems like a licence to treat people poorly and take advantage of them. This is a 2 month rental during covid where the on hold message states "committed and ready to help you get where you need to go" sorry, but this is not the case. They have no idea how to effectively resolve a situation caused by their own employee, yet I am the one inconvenienced with un-authorized charges being taken from a cc! I should have learnt my lesson with this branch - 3rd time having an issue with specifically the branch manager "E". Updated: April 25th, thought after extreme aggravation and working with another branch manager "B" that everything was sorted out. To my dismay I find a charge on my cc this morning for $700.00 that I know nothing about. No notice, no disclosure, no explanation. They say each conversation is recorded, if they go back and listen they will find that "B" made no attempt to fully disclose what would be happening with the changes being made. Again, lack of extremely relevant information was not offered up to me for understanding and approval. UN-AUTHORISED TRANSACTIONS WILL END UP ON YOUR CC - BE AWARE!!!!

I rented a car for two weeks for a family road trip. Great car and it was clean when I received it. Best of all when I went to drop it off I had my two young kids and asked if they could shuttle me back to my place. Colin said no problem and drove us home and helped me get the car seats out. Go see Colin if you need to rent a car.

Absolutely horrible, booked a car on line, checked in and got everything secured only to be called the day before my rental was due and was informed they could not fulfill my rental because they are only accepting week long rentals and nothing short of that. Extremely annoying. Do not book online, do not use enterprise. Horrible horrible horrible excuse for a business
