Friday at about noon I stopped in to look at toy haulers.... It looks like they sell RV's and trailers... But I'm not sure. I wandered around the huge lot to check it out. I went inside to find a person to talk to. Two ladies were standing behind counter at the store talking to each other. They totally ignored me, there was a desk that looked like a reception desk to the left of the front door a older lady was busling around behind it looking busy shuffling papers, she never looked up or around at me even though I kinda stood there looking lost, a door just beyond desk said "sales" but looked like employee only offices so after 3 or 4 minutes of wandering around the store and being ignored and the only customer in the whole place I left. As I was driving out I seen another person that was working on a RV so I stopped to ask about toy haulers, as I started to ask he interrupted me and said go to reception in second building.... they do sales. So I left, a wasted drive from Napanee. Guess they have enough customers without me.

My friend and I recently purchased Grand Design Imagine travel trailers from 1000 Islands RV. We bought them in January 2021 from Clara. She was great to help us through the purchasing process. I think both sides learned a few things. We didn’t enjoy our orientation in the middle of February in a snow storm but with the help of Cassy in service we got everything worked out when we picked out units up in May. Any time I have had questions or issues, Cassy has been a huge help. We just brought our trailers in for winterizing and some warranty issues and again I’ve dealt with Cassy. It is so nice when you go into a business and receive professional help from the same person. It shows that an organization is good to work for when you see the same faces.

I bought my class b from 1000 Islands this winter. As expected any negotiation is tiring but done respectfully. Every staff member I dealt with was very professional. Salesperson Clara a very down to earth person. Since I saw their efforts to supply trailers to medical staff, I decided I better post a review to say this is where to go to buy..a community supporting business. I haven't needed to apply for any warranty work yet but will repost later if any is needed. I have already recommended their business to my friends..A class act..

We purchased a used RV last year in October from Thousand Islands RV Centre. Since we never owned an RV before, this was a big purchase for us. Having said that, our experience was truly amazing from start to finish. We can't even mention names, for fear that we might leave out someone. From sales person to service person and everyone in between, the staff was incredible. They did things to our RV that we never expected and we are truly grateful for everything that was done for us. After 8 months in storage we finally pulled it out last weekend and are looking forward to enjoying the camping season for the first time in a long time!

We live 5 hours west of Gananoque and we were able to get all the information about the trailer and make the purchase without travelling to ado so. When we went to the dealership to pick up or trailer everyone was so helpful! Estelle was great! She helped us with any questions we had and brought us to the people that we needed to speak to to complete the process. Leanna was fantastic! She was so helpful- especially with a blunder I made????. Norman was an excellent technician that showed us how to use the trailer and get everything started! The icing on the cake was when we came in the next day and Matt, another technician helped us with the hot water and a drawer that wasn’t closing. We purchased a Northern Spirit by Coachman earlier this year and picked it up the beginning of April from a different dealer in St.Thomas. Been using it to travel around while we have the opportunity and came across our furnace not wanting to work anymore. We called our dealer to rectify the issue and were advised to contact an Rv Care dealer that was closest to us which happened to be this location. Luckily we got an appointment within 2 days due to the time of year/season. When we got there after our long treck the service staff made the experience worth it. They were courteous and helpful with the issue at hand, had someone go out to fix the problem and within an hr. Or so we were ready to hitch up and leave!! Near or far, it's worth the trip to Gananoque!

Could not be happier with the service I received. Living out of my trailer, so Matt (I think?) got me an appt next day, despite being their busiest time of year, and being a small job. Jason was awesome to deal with while I was there. I wasn't a consequential customer (only a $250 job), but he took the time, and even went out of his way to check something for me. Actually the first time I've ever left a review on any business. I guess, in part, because I know from strictly a financial perspective, I was not a profitable customer. Our time spent with the 1000 Islands RV team was great from start to finish. The no pressure sales approach we received from Brett Massey was very comfortable and he really helped us in finding the RV that best suited our current needs and was very helpful in guiding us and answering our questions right through from the ordering process and up to the day we took delivery of.our new RV. Estelle the delivery coordinator made it easy when it came time to do our PDI and ensured we were able to find all the little things we needed before we take off on our first adventure. I hope not to have too much need for the service department but if the other departments I have dealt with are any indication of the experience I will have then I feel that experience will also be a good one. Great job 1000 Islands RV Centre!

As the summer begins to wind down, I am tardy in this review. Early in July my family and I were camping in the 1000 Island area for the weekend. Having driven over 5 hours to get there, let's just say we found ourselves in a bit of a predicament when we realized we did not have the keys to open up the trailer. The camp office called The 1000 island RV Centre and they said to bring it over and they would see what they could do.....and yes they had a master key that allowed us to get into the trailer and gave us one to take with us. They were not only life savers but pleasant and extremely friendly. If you have any RV needs , I would recommend you go see the people at The 1000 Island RV centre.

We rented for a week and aside from a few small issues ( got the wrong keys in the binder) it was a great week. We had an issue with the awning (if you are new to rv renting as we were, make sure if you rent one with an awning that you never leave it open if it rains in anyway as they are pretty flimsy). They were great about it as we were up front with the issue and there was no further issues when we returned it. Grace was great, she answered my questions during the process and they even provided the correct hitch for our rltruck rental for the unit at no charge. They even refilled our propane without charge. We would definitely use them again if we rented and would reccomend to others.

when we arrived for our two hour introduction to our used but new to us trailer and a review of its features we quickly found that (Norm) the technician was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He took us step by step through each component and system within our trailer. My wife could not say enough about the work that had been carried out by the cleaning and preparation team... from floor, to fridge, bathroom, bedroom, even the window guides had been cleaned! The detailing and sanitizing was more than we had expected. The installation of our tow package was completed on time and came with a complete briefing on how everything worked. We drove away as two very happy campers. "We will be back!"

Purchased this RV on September 21, 2018 and gave a large cash downpayment. At this time I made it clear that we would not be operating the unit until the spring of 2019 and asked if the dealership would store it for the winter and that the 7/11 warranty not start until April of 2019. The salesman agreed to do this. Satisfied, we were directed to return October 12, 2018 for a familiarization and pay the balance. Subsequently, we attended and paid the remaining amount. During the checkout the person demonstrating the unit damaged it, thus requiring repair. Other deficiencies were noted and the service department gave me a completion date of mid November. We were contacted on November 19 by the Service Department saying that the unit was ready. We had purchased a cover from the dealership and I went out and removed the batteries. On November 20 the unit was covered. During all of this the staff was helpful and no problem aside from the damage done during the demonstration. The problem that I have is that the warranty began to roll on October 12, 2018, contrary to what we were told, and will expire approximately one month after we get it out of storage. I was told by the Business Manager that I never should have been promised this and there is nothing that they can do. I paid over $50,000. Update: January 11/2019 Issue resolved. Coverage to begin when unit leaves the property. Very satisfied.

Out of sight, out of mind...this must 1000 Islands RV Centres motto... April 22nd we purchased a tent trailer, with Kayak and Bike rack included. Due to demand and Covid, there was a delay in delivery, and we received our trailer on July 19th. We arrived at 1000 Islands RV Centre for our tutorial, where we noticed a scratch on the cabinet door, before we even entered the trailer. We pointed this out, and were ignored. We went ahead with tutorial, and upon completion we pointed out that our kayak and bike racks were missing. All personnel were baffled, questioning whether we were in fact supposed to have them included in sale, and then we were told that they thought we knew they were delayed, that we had been told this (in hindsight, I believe they were never really ordered as part of the pkg in the first place). We were told they would have them sent to our home in a few weeks. Upon arrival at home, and setting up our trailer, we noticed a pinhole in the canvas, and when we called to inform them, were asked if we could measure the canvas for them!! We returned that Friday so they could measure and patch the canvas, once again mentioned the scratch, and no solution was offered. It has now been 7 wks since we received our trailer and still no racks. We have called both sales and service several times to inquire, with no return phone call. We understand that everything is delayed, but also would appreciate acknowledgement, and the truth. Clearly at 1000 Islands RV, once they see your taillights, and they have your $, you are forgotten. Can't help wondering if this is true for all customers, or just the ones who don't purchase the bigger, more expensive units. If you enjoy being dismissed, ignored and deceived, 1000 Islands should be your first choice for all your RV needs!!!

I would highly recommend 1000 Islands RV if looking for a Cargo trailer. Ask for Scott. He suggested 3 or 4 models to suit our needs and no pressure sales. He answered all of our questions and is very knowledgeable regarding current construction materials and trailer functions. Friendly staff.

We ended up here after halting the purchase of a trailer at another dealership that offered zero customer service. I made an appointment with Brett and told him what we were looking for. When we got there and explained how we ended up there and the timeline we were on, he took the time to ensure that the shop could ensure that everything would be done on our timeline before we got much further into looking. I appreciated the fact that he did not want to waste our time if he couldn't deliver in our expected time frame. He only showed us the trailers we were interested in, didn't try to upsell us on anything and was willing to present offers to his manager. When we decided what we wanted, the application process was pretty easy and straight forward, the finance department went over everything and again, didn't try to upsell us on anything we truly didn't need. They were able to quickly provide all the information I would need to secure insurance before pick up day, they also called and emailed me the day everything was approved. When we returned on pick up day, Brett was there bright and early to greet us, along with Estelle and another member of the finance team. We were walked through out trailer and shown that everything worked and connected. The service technician was great, showed us all the 'things' and was quite pleasant. He assisted in removing the old ball from the hitch and put the new one on as well. When we were shopping for the things we might need-the gentleman in the store was so friendly and kind. We told him that we were 'new' to the RV world and he had so much great advice and suggestions. Every aspect of this transaction was great. On pick up day, they welcomed my dogs to join us for the trailer inspection and in the store for our shopping. Everyone was happy, and genuinely seemed happy and sincere to help us. In hindsight, I am happy to have had the poor experience that we did~it really did help us to appreciate the effort that this dealership went to to make sure that we had a great experience. In a world where everything can be done online and fairly easily, they took the extra steps to make it a personal and pleasurable experience. Highly recommend!

I would like to comment that Cathy and I have always been well received by the people at 1000 Islands RV. Purchasing an RV from 1000 Islands was a totally positive experience for us. The sales process, including negotiating price, trade-in values and other formalities, was the best overall experience of this nature we have ever encountered (not the first time we have done this as we have previously purchased numerous vehicles and RV’s over the years). A good place to camp but noone from the campground goes around to check if everything is ok or if anyone needs anything or if everyone is obeying the rules and regulations ex: fireban on campfires. There is no signage stating a fireban.

Our experience has left us extremely disappointed and frustrated. Our 16ft trailer was our first RV purchase. Service was good until we went to pick up our new family RV. Red flags should have gone off when we noticed incomplete work. Our purchase agreement was not fulfilled on our 1 year old "used" trailer. Inexperienced and naive we drove off the lot with it when we shouldn't have. As such, only 9 days after bringing it home and having not used it or moved it from our driveway, we experienced a leak. Service department promised they would "make it right". Other problems with power jack persisted as well. Neither service or sales managers are returning our calls or emails over the last 5 WEEKS. We will not be recommending this business. We will continue to pursue the issue until the promise to correct the problems are resolved.

Huge selection of trailers and best of all they leave the doors unlocked so your free to browse until your ready to get a salesman. When we decided on a few models we got a salesman and he was just great. He never pushed on any one product and made the negotiation process so easy. Actually the overall process as a whole was so simple and went incredibly smooth. On delivery day, the orientation is very informative and they cover and answer everything about the trailer. We never felt rushed and although this being our first travel trailer and it being budget friendly, they treated us like we were buying a luxury class rv. If and when we decide to go bigger and better, we'll definitely head straight back there.

Visited with my wife today and walked around looking at locked trailers hoping to possibly find the right one to purchase. There are a lot of trailers there and the lot is huge sales staff drove by us on golf carts on two different occasions neither stopped. They must not have wanted the sale that badly. My brother-in-law and his wife were to meet us there with the intent to possibly purchase as well. We told them not to bother as there was no available sales staff. Two potential sales lost. We will not return.

Buyer Beware, 1000 Islands RV Centre has the worst after sale customer service. Once they cash your cheque it is impossible to get a return call from any employee, including Service Advisors, Service Manager, Sales Manager and General Manager. If you are thinking of buying from 1000 Islands RV Centre, be aware that you will not get any after sale support. After buying a brand-new RV for $80K from 1000 Islands RV Centre I spent 6 weeks calling and leaving messages hoping to get a return call to help schedule a service appointment to fix a few issues and some warranty work on the new RV. Every single message left including requests with reception to please have somebody help and return a call was ignored. I cannot include all details of their ignoring phone calls and requests for help as it would be too long and unbelievable to read. This includes Sales Manager and General Manager both refusing to get involved and help a customer. Also, we had to get the Manufacturer involved to force 1000 Islands RV Centre to provide parts that were included in the purchase. 1000 Islands RV Centre will take your money and then never return a call, deliver on promises, or provide any help and support.

I agree with James Sanderson, I have also emailed a number of times never an answer...used the same email address to email different dealers and they answered me with in 24 hours so not an issue on my end. Tried the texting, again no return of request of information. Did call and was put on hold for 5 minutes before being told that they have someone checking the emails all day so they were unsure of what the problem was, sooooo I am also very happy to see what their service is like before hand, I will not be giving them any of my business, I am more than happy to give my business elsewhere. I Can't even imagine how good their service would be after they have your money.

Great service so far! This is our first purchase from 1000 Islands RV Centre, and I have to say at this point they are batting 1000. Hope the servicing down the road is as impressive as the initial sales process.

I'd been thinking of getting a travel trailer for a few years but couldn't find one that I liked until I saw the 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2150RB on 1000 Islands RV's website. I had pretty much made up my mind to buy it unless I wasn't comfortable with the payments or I didn't get a good vibe about the staff. Kim my salesman came in on his day off to show me the trailer and didn't put any pressure on me to buy and Lennea the Business Manager was able to get me payments that I'm more than comfortable with. I am now the proud owner of a 2018 Grand Design Imagine 2150RB thanks to the staff at 1000 Islands RV.

Don't deliver on promises. Bought a brand new trailer almost 3 months ago now and we are waiting parts such as new back splash in kitchen. Unit came to us with over a dozen warning stickers plastered over the wall over the stove. Frankly, this is extremely distasteful. So your ordered a new wall cover 2 months ago, also a new curtain for bunks, because they were ripped upon delivery and we are waiting now 3 months now for sink covers. Still now answer as to when we may expect all the issues to be corrected. Oh! Our propane tanks are just 20 lbs. but hidden under a 30 lb cover. This is very deceitful, to say the least. Shame on you 1000 island RV.

We purchased a new trailer from 1000 Islands a few years ago. It's now in need of some repairs, but I can't get ahold of anyone in service at the dealership. They have three methods to reach their service department... Phone (i left 2 voicemails in September '20), Text (I texted their number July 4 '21), or Email (I emailed July 8 '21). I have yet to hear from anyone. I've moved on and taken my trailer somewhere else for service,. Our next purchase will be from elsewhere too!

I rarely write reviews, but I was utterly stunned at how unhelpful and dismissive the staff were when I came in for a part. I’m not the most knowledgeable guy on RV parts and repair, but if i come in needing to fix something, I expect experts to be able to at least point me in the right direction. Instead I was told, don’t have it, can’t order it, go somewhere else. Could you at least help me understand what information I need when I do find someone else who can find a simple roof vent lift arm. Help me find a product number, or tell me where to look for one. Nope, just tell me to go somewhere else. Thanks a lot, I guess I should just order online and cut out the brick and mortar shops altogether. Because the experts aren’t passionate or helpful, so why do I spend gas to come try and spend money.

Very disappointed. My family had their heart set on a trailer and we came to an agreement with a price. I showed the manager Jeff my pictures as well as Kim our sales associate and both agreed to take our trade. The deal was to lower the price by accepting the trade. Bill of sale was sent to us to sign however after talking to Claudia in finance and realizing she made a mistake on taxing our warranty twice and I have it in writing, she continued to not see my point and then saying that this is how it has to be and that's it. Well sorry but if you say $3576 taxes in (her words) and then get me a deal from your rep for $500 off bringing the price to $3076 which already still includes the taxes then why are you adding it to the net difference on my bill and charging tax again. Next day I get an email saying After review of the pictures I sent of my trade in (which they NEVER ask for but I sent to be honest in the condition) and talking to Kim and Claudia, Jeff will not be proceeding with the deal. Ok it's bad business to make a deal and then retract. Just because I was questioning Claudia on the warranty. Must be the reason also because why would finance have a say in the original deal. It is my right to question anything as it's my money. Not only did I have it in writing that they would accept my trade for the price we talked about but also in a bill of sale. There are many other businesses that have people who care and don't tell you this is how it is either accept it or don't with no compassion.This whole experience has been an eye opener. When I asked for the owner's info Claudia's response was that Jeff could handle my concerns. No thank you as he is the one who declined the deal after accepting it. Guess I will have to find this info myself.

Great customer service from sales to parts/service depts. They helped me helped hookup my new WDH to the truck & trailer along with a lot of good advice. The only issue was with the financial dept that miscommunicated some of the insurance options & costs. Overall a great experience (so far)

This review is a bit over due but as a new camping season has started and I sit in my lawn chair on my first camping trip of the year I am reminded of the great customer service and support provided by 1000 island RV Centre. I purchased my first used hybrid camper trailer from 1000 Island RV Centre last summer. Because we were so anxious to get our family summer vacation and camping experience underway I purchased the trailer “as is”. Immediately into our first camping trip, we noticed some concerning issues with the trailer. To make a long story short, the Sales department lead by the sales manager Jeff Melling stood by their product and services resolving all my concerns and exceeding my expectations. I have had nothing but positive experiences when dealing with the sales department and service department staff at 1000 island RV Centre. I look forward to many years of customer service and maybe even sales :) with 1000 island RV, I would highly recommend them to fellow campers and or new campers. Thank you!

if you think they will verify the RV before you take it, you are wrong, A private will do a better job... First we say a price on the web site, and after we book a appontment, they remove the promotion, they don' t know what document you need to have it licence into another province, also we had a linking winsheild, jack not working, stipped handle forba window, etc.. I tried to contact the manager and he never return your call... Do yourself a favor and buy you re RB somewhere else. It s the worst service on RV you can get Thanks for your answer, but I still wait the call from the manager 3 month after.....

Totally agree with Suzanne Morneau, worst service ever.. Salesperson Clara was great.,. Admin team good as well. Have tries multiple times for help with water damage discovered after leaving, getting promises of phone calls from upper management but to no avail.Should be advertised as sales only and buyer beware. My neighbour asked for our opinion. Told him to stay away because after you leave your on your own. He bought a new trailer in the big smoke with incredible after sales service. Would buy our next RV ( A Home) from Clara but only if she is at a different dealer!

My wife and I purchased a new 2018 Forest River from 1000 Island RV back in late 2017 - We have it parked at Singleton Lake Campground in Lyndhurst, Ontario - Our experience with 1000 Island RV was the BEST - Clara was our sales associate - She was extremely knowledgable, polite, courteous and accommodating - We could not have been more satisfied - This was our first experience with owning a camper - Our initial experience was so good, we decided to up grade this year - We found a unit we liked after researching the internet - It was a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 5th Wheel Model 390 RK-R and wouldn't you know there was 1 at 1000 Island RV - We live in Pennsylvania and vacation at Singleton Lake from May - October - We called Clara, put a deposit on the unit and will be finalizing the deal when the border reopens - We found the same unit in PA, so we actually were able to see it first hand before making arrangements with Clara - They took our 2018 in trade also - These people are the best - They treat you the way they would like to be treated - I am in business for myself and certainly appreciate being treated so well - If you are looking for a new or used RV you can't go wrong with 1000 Island RV and especially Clara!
