We had an excellent experience with our car rental. The employees were friendly and welcoming. Our car was clean and in good condition. Location is convenient...easy pick up and drop off. We will definitely use them again.

Friendly service and surprisingly nice cars. Great location too, just steps from the terminal-- which matters in winter! They even heat up the cars before you arrive. Note that the weather here is so cold the windshields are usually cracked, but don't let that bother you.

Price is fair and services was prompt, but the terms were not friendly We hired 6 seaters van at not a cheap rates, van was dirty and at not high quality which we understandable due to remote location of Yellowknife, they should provide unlimited miles. No one accompanying us to check the Van conditions which is not Hertz standard When we pickup the van it was not in full tank of gasoline, knowing this might be the previous guest issue but the Hertz should have top up rather told us to leave the van 3/4 full when returned the Van.

Initially really happy with our rental - no problems with the car and friendly customer service. But we were charged extra for going over a '100km limit'. We rented the car for two days; this seems a very unreasonable limit, especially given the Ingraham Trail is 70km one way. Felt like this was something Hertz should have verbally warned us about, especially since we had discussed where we planned to drive to!
