They don't accept G2 License so don't book unless you have G2. However, these people are punctual, friendly and helped me to drop-off at the GO station so I can reach home. I could have given them 5 star for the price of the rental car but it seems they are the only company in Toronto who has this weird condition. Also, they have mileage restrictions like 200Km per day being economy service provider.

Their low rates seem to good to be true and that is generally the case. They don't rent out to G2 despite their rental agreement not stating anything otherwise. A great way for them to collect non-refundable deposit fees. Rentals are done through a registered company in Latvia so harder to dispute the charges. Lost out on my deposit which wasn't a biggie and probably a good thing because the company has too many red flags.

We booked direct online after reading reviews specific to the Toronto Surprice...this is crucial as Surprice is a franchise I believe and if you just search the company the reviews don’t look great, but if you specifically search ‘Surprice Toronto’ you’ll read only good stuff. We arrived after an 8 hour flight with a baby. It was really straightforward to find where we needed to go, and once there staff picked us up within 10 minutes and took us to their office, around a 5 minute drive. The process once there was quick and staff helpful and polite. They didn’t have any Satnavs left which was a nightmare for us as were from the UK and had never driven in Canada before, and had no idea where we were going. They helped us to download and set up google maps, the version that didn’t rely on data...and we were sorted! The car was a brand new plate and spot on, we had not a single issue with it the whole time we had it. On returning it we arrived to their offices in the evening with the baby asleep in her car seat. They were so helpful and accommodating - they drove us direct to the terminal we departed from in the rental car...so we didn’t have to unload the luggage or baby. Rahul was so helpful, professional and courteous as were all the staff who had assisted us on arrival. We are so pleased to have found this company and won’t use anyone else going forwards. You won’t be disappointed!

Rented a jeep from them aug 19-29th. Jeep was dirty. Windows were very dirty inside. Windshield wipers hardly worked and almost had 2 accidents because of this. Told them at the office.....oh well was the answer I got. On the website it says unlimited KM and 200 per day for locals. I am in Alberta and was told nope you get 200 a day. Local is Canada. How the heck is Canada local to Toronto. Only people from other countries get unlimited....so what you discriminate against Canadians now. I said you should really put this in your website so when people rent from Canada they know you think they are local. I mean honestly local is what Toronto maybe Ontario.

Fantastic ???????? - This rental company has amazing customer service and there cars are not the bottom of the barrel, option lacking typical rental cars you get at the airport. YES - you have to call the shuttle 15 minutes before you arrive at Viscount Station (a 5 to 10 minute airport train ride from the terminals). We were skeptical as we'd never heard of the company and worried about the challenges of coordinating the shuttle but everything was seamless and above expectations. Enjoy!

Rented a car from sur price through discover cars online recently. It took two days to confirm the booking as the shuttle pickup and drop off time were outside of Sur Price's normal business hours. I got off the plane and went to meet the shuttle and no one was there, I had to call them in the morning and they acted like they hadnt confirmed the booking, even though they had my booking and the car waiting for me. The "manager" was extremely unprofessional and could barely speak english, they just tried to pass the buck onto the third party vendor. The shuttle back to the airport that they had confirmed was also outside of business hours so I was forced to take a cab. The times were confirmed and were clearly listed on my booking sheet. This screw up cost me over $200 in hotels and cabs. Brutal company, wouldn't trust them at all unless you want to deal with a bunch of people who don't speak english and who don't care about you or customer service at all. I am now dealing with discover cars (the third party) to hopefully resolve the problem

My only issue was finding the location which is inside the hotel, which was likely my fault not looking at the directions closely. Other than that, the manager was very quick and thorough in processing the rental agreement when I arrived. The car was very clean and in great shape. When I returned the car, the attendant was very fast in processing the return and when it was time to leave he hopped in the car and dropped me at the closest bus stop to get my back home again. I highly recommend SurPrice if you're looking to rent a car in the Toronto area.

The worst place I ever rented a car. My problems started as soon as I arrived at the rental store. The clerk tried to sell me various types of insurance that I refused, when I informed the places that went with the rental car they limited my mileage, and I contracted with unlimited mileage. And at the end of the lease I had to pay a difference. It was not fair, they did not honor the contract, I will never rent cars there and I do not refer anyone.

Had a great experience! When we arrived we travelled out to the viscount station with our luggage (pro tip: you can travel the entire way with your luggage cart but you have to use the elevators). A quick call and someone was there to pick us up right away. We had great customer service and were on our way within a few minutes (pro tip: print out your insurance policy showing they cover car rentals in Canada). We returned the car and were running a little late because checking in all the luggage took several hours (before we returned the car). Fortunately everyone there was very helpful and fast and we made it with time to spare!!! Would definitely use them again and I highly recommend! Thanks jeet.

BAD, VERY BAD!!! NOT WORTH IT!!! The worst rental company I have ever experienced in my life. Please do yourself a favor stay away from this company, there is so many other honest good reliable rental companies with way better customer service! They don't meet customer expectations, nothing is clear with their website, you book one specific car but you get completely different one, and they say it's not available! This company price policy is a total rip off, it seems good but at the end you pay so much more, there is quite a few hidden costs! Please take your time and ask for clear answers, until you get one if you are lucky, and of course very very tiny print that normally you don't have a time to read! Who's got time when you in a hurry especially with little kids. So honesty and the good service is not the case with this company! Yeah, now I know what Surprice means in this case, it is Surprise but not in good way! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone! This is my personal experience, but if you want to experience nothing but the headache go ahead and give it a try. If there was a rating 0 stars, I would give it 0! I got fooled by the good reviews of this company!

How can I give a car rental 5 stars when they took 30 minutes to pick us up and we had to wait another 15 minutes while they cleaned the car we had requested. Read on to find out. I had originally booked a Turo car for our trip but after three owners in a row cancelled our reservation fir aa variety of reasons. So I started shopping around for a conventional car rental company and came across SurPrice. They were significantly cheaper, had one year old instead of ten year old cars and there was no complex pick up arrangement. So I figured there had to be a catch. No catch, the reason they were late for the pick up was because the shuttle bus had a puncture. We had booked a Rav4 and they only had a Wrangler available and with two small kids that wasn't going to work So they gave us a 2020 Kia Sorento which they had to sanitize. They gave us an extra 200 km allowance for the delayed shuttle and waived the second driver fee for the delayed vehicle (neither of which were asked for), they did not try any upselling, the car was perfect and they got us to the airport 15 minutes after we rolled into their parking lot. Highly, highly recommend.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I booked a car via Expedia this July 2019. I booked a suv when I got there they gave me a compact car and said Expedia lied to me which is just a bunch of lies. They gave me a car that had all kinds of dents in it from several accidents and told me if I don’t like it then too bad I can leave and go some where else. I had my two little children with me so with no other choice I took the car. I had a long drive to kalamata from Athens as I am driving I noticed the brakes are gone on the car they are grinding and barely working. Also the car almost over heated a few times and would lose power for no reason. When I got to Kalamata I called the company to ask for a new car instead they sent a pick up truck to take the car to fix it leaving me with no car for the day. I called them and explained I was expecting them to exchange the car as they have a location in kalamata they said no if I want they will fix it and that’s it’s and so I was stranded without a car that day. When the car was ready they called me and said to take a cab and go pick up the car from god knows where when I refused they told me to call the mechanic and ask them to bring it to me which I did. Lucky for me I can speak Greek otherwise this would have been impossible to communicate when the car was delivered to me the mechanic told me he was shocked they let me drive the car it was completely unsafe. I rent cars all the time in Greece this is the first time I used this company and will be the last. They were rude from the second I got there. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra 100 dollars and go with a better company this was the worst experience of my life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

BUYERS BEWARE! They'll charge you for 'damage' a day or two after you return the vehicle, even after a full 360 degree quality check. If you go with these guys, you must take your own pictures as evidence. These folks are sneaky, proceed with caution!!

Poor service. People sitting there are stealing your money regardless of what deal was accepted online. They overcharge and don't talk to you when u call them for follow-up for refund. Do not book any car rental with them. I have rented mid of Sept for 7 days and its now almost a month, no refund of overcharged amount. They refuse to come on phone as well.
