The service that I received at Didi Car Rental and Sales was above and beyond. We called them about 15 minutes prior to closing and they waited for us to come and book a car. We were helped by a very very nice agent named Maria! She took fantastic care of us and served us with a smile the whole time. The car that we received had some weird scent but she gave us a discount, air freshener as well as cleaning product. Would definitely rent from them again and recommend them to all my friends.

I came to Victoria with my family and wanted to show them Tofino. I got the car and left the city, in Port Alberni car broke down. I gave them a call and in 3 hours they brought me another car. It was sad that I spent time in Port Alberni, but the company reacted quick and efficient. The rest of the trip was amazing.

I choose this rental company because of the very attractive prices (way lower than the other options) and would strongly recommend it. I rented the Mazda 2 for 9 days and had a great experience! The car was as new with no scratch on it and that's how we left it. Being only 2, we were very comfortable and had lots of room for our luggage in this small car. For 5 or even 4 people with considerable luggage I'd recommend a larger vehicle even if it is not as fuel efficient as this one. The fact that this is a smaller company was reflected in the way they cared for costumer satisfaction. The staff was friendly and always available to clarify the doubts we had before booking (done via phone call). If you are in doubt between this company and a big brand don't be, you will be well served here.

This is a nice independent car rental agency. The cars are clean and well maintained. On the positive side their short term (day) rates are lower, and they have a wide selection of models to rent; but as usual you’re not guaranteed to get the model you want. On the negative side there is no flexibility with the reservation. When you reserve, you pay 50% deposit up front and if you change your plans you will lose this amount. I suggest they rethink this reservation policy, in order to compete with the big chains such as enterprise, hertz, Avis, etc.

I gave Didi a good Yelp review but thought I'd add one on Google Maps too because I often use it Didi car rental didn't have a lot of reviews and I was hesitant to use maps. I was not disappointed with the price and service I got from Didi. I got a Camry at a great price. Their website could be a easier to navigate but they tell me that it's being redesigned.

Since I've had my car, I tried my best to hide the fact those seats saw a lot of butts and my floor saw a lot of coffee. I failed pretty bad, but these guys did an amazing job cleaning every nook and cranny in my ride. The inside looks like new, and they did an excellent job on the outside too. Went through the ringer with these guys. Happy with my vehicle in the end but even happier to be done dealing with them. A long story short, I had to file a BBB complaint to get any kind of reimbursement for a required service on a vehicle I bought from them after they verbally agreed to cover the cost and then decided it was too steep to actually cover after I paid out of pocket for it. They were pretty disrespectful of my time about it - I came in at one point to finally collect a cheque for it, at which point they informed me it wasn't going to happen - didn't even call or email me ahead of time. Endless miscommunication and SUCH a headache. I'd recommend getting everything in writing from these guys if you're going to guy - I learned the hard way you can't trust everyone at their word.

My fiance and I rented with Didi Auto Group last year and we had a great experience so we decided to rent with them again this year. We got picked up from the airport and signed the agreement. We were given a toyota matrix and when we were coming back from fureworks it was making a ticking sound so we brought it in the next day. As soon as we brought it in Ray gave us a Toyota Corolla and we were on our way. I realized the next day I left our AirBNB key on the ring so had to go back. When we went to pick it up Maria said we didn't pay enough and that our rental agreement was wrong. In the end I showed her the emails and rental agreement I was sent and she said ok fon't worry so we didn't have to pay anymore. Everyone there has great customer service and is very helpful. We will be renting through them again when we come back.

On April 14th, 2018, they went to the manager and looked up the price for a month and told me it would be 450$ plus taxes for the month price which was the same as National at the time. I agreed to rent it. So after doing a MONTH rental and asking if it was okay that I would drop it off before the month was over, they created documents that ended it in 20 days. I thought my flight would be on Friday but it was the following Wednesday instead (still UNDER a month). I technically paid for the car till May 14th, 2018 and returned it on May 6th. I didn’t think it would be a problem extending the rental considering I already paid 560$ for the month. But nope, they charged an additional 90$. I highly suggest AGAINST this scam company. They try to squeeze as much money from customers. Go to someone reputable instead. Oh and they e-mail back with sentences like: " And we are sorry to hear you can’t understand rental policy."

Soooo slow! I already made a reservation, but it took them more than 30 minutes to find my name! And it was spelled incorrectly which caused additional problems. Friendly and pleasant staff but disorganized system and issues with the reservation system. Affordable prices but probably not worth the hassle.

Didi's was awesome! On my recent trip to Victoria, I got stuck at Budget with no rental. A Didi's rep. came and got me. Then, they rented me a mini-van at a discount for 2 days. When I returned my van, they helped me get back to the Clipper by shuttling my whole family of 6 back to the docks. Thank you!!

I had my car detailed here after having decals removed and the paint job looking awful. The guys at Didi made it look BRAND NEW. They really go above and beyond with their service, and the prices were the most reasonable in town. A bit of confusion with booking but they more than made up for it once I brought my car in.
