Lakin went above and beyond to get our family a vehicle that would accommodate our family in an emergency situation! She secured us a van, last minute, that fit our family of six and luggage for a camping vacation, as we broke down on our way from MD to PA! Our vacation was saved because of Hertz! Thanks so much, we are forever grateful!

Kelsey is a real treat. Lacking professionalism and common sense for sure. Broke down in a rental 15 mins away. Would not get me a replacement car to make my flight! Basically told me that's my problem. Not a hertz issue just an terrible employee. This after being broken down for 7 hrs without getting any help from hertz. Had to get myself to a hotel, taxi and a $200 uber to the airport. Could have been a 5 start review. Filed a claim with hertz for basically abandoning me. Even Hertz roadside could get her off her pedestal to help me and could believeher action. They also documented the experience. I rent over 20 cars a year and have never met anyone like her. Dont go here. Thanks so much for doing nothing to help a person in need.

If I could give less than 1star I would this is by far the worst rental place I have ever used extremely unprofessional every employee running around not knowing what they are doing rude to customers yelling at them while kids are in the waiting room the females dress provokatively and flonting them selves only worried about flirting with the guys in the garage and motorcycle shop next door then out of the blue 3 months later sent a bogus $150 charge for nothing of course nothing you can do about it so I filed a sute agents them so at least they have to spend much more money on attorney fees so I get some satisfaction out of it. If your incurance company uses Hertz demand they send you to Enterprise can't wait for my day in court I hope someone from corporate shows up

I will NEVER use Hertz again! I rented a car from the Hertz on Mount Savage Rd after my car broke down while returning to Ohio from the D.C. area. The rate was rather steep and they charged me a $500 fee for use of a debit card, but at the time, I was just glad to have a way home. When it became clear that the dealership in Cumberland wouldn't have my car repaired before the rental return date, we began looking into cheaper rental car options. At some point, we called Hertz to find out what we would be charged to return the car locally rather than at the Cumberland, MD location. After paying $10 for the privilege of speaking with a Hertz agent, we were told that the fee for returning in Cincinnati would be $800!!!!! I immediately called the Timbrook Auto location where I'd rented the car and read the following from the rental agreement: "RETURN CHANGE FEE of $10 will be applied if You return the Car to a different location from that which was scheduled, or if you return more than 12 hours after the date and time previously scheduled by calling 1-800..." After talking with someone on her end, the agent told me there's an "inter-city return fee" of $800. This fee isn't mentioned anywhere in the rental agreement, but I guess Hertz knows not many people would incur the expense of a lawsuit for $800. I probably won't file a lawsuit, but I definitely won't use Hertz again, and I'd advise anyone reading this not to either.

Called ahead for a midsized SUV, arrived 3 hours later and they didn't have one avaliable. Our local Enterprise didn't have any cars for 3 days though so still better service. Didn't have to wait long and they took care of everything with the insurance company.

If you enjoy being disrespected and talked down to when you’re spending your hard-earned money, ask for Kelsi Engle. She’ll be sure to show you to the worst Hertz experience of your life! Not only does she not know the basics of her job.. She doesn’t know the basics of customer service (let alone talking to a human being.) Her lack of care is unprofessional. And her shotty attitude towards a high-paying customer really is shocking. Ask for Tanya to save yourself the amount of refunds that will need to be performed after dealing with Kelsi.

5 Stars!! Kelsi Engle is a gem!! She's always professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and personable!!! She makes pick up and drop off quick and easy!! This is my 3rd rental with Cumberland Hertz and Kelsi has gone above and beyond to meet my needs every time!! I always feel the need to hug her when I leave lol! Not only is Kelsi great, all the employees are friendly and helpful! I've always been greeted with a smile and a friendly hello! The rates are the best in town! The GMC Acadia, I just returned, had heated seat, rear thermostat control and Bluetooth connection--PERFECT!! I've already scheduled my next rental!! This is the only place I'll do business!! My name is Emanuel Clarke I've already done two one-way rentals from this location when I need to get back to Washington DC urgently. Results: I actually found this place to be very professional. Kelsi is a very professional associate who is very businesslike and I can tell cares about doing things properly. I've always had a good experience at this location renting. If you need to do a one-way rental, they will work with you. I've always found their vehicles to work properly and I found working with this facility is rather easy. I have not seen anyting that I would find questionable happen or something that would make me say WHAT. I am more than willing and more than comfortable to do future business at this location. I've already rented twice from this location for one-way rentals and I found everything to be more than acceptable and satisfactory. Thank you for having satellite radio in this vehicle ????
