Incredibly happy with my experience and the care that Tom took to see me on my way. I rented a 20’ truck for a move last minute. The truck was clean and ready to go when I arrived. Not only is this supporting a local business, but a quality business that presents exemplary customer service. Avoid Big Name Stores, DO use HOJ!

Highly Recommended! I rented a Ford Transit from HOJ for a day trip to the Niagara Wineries. Excellent customer service, truck was clean and in excellent conditions. I would definitely use their service again!

We were visiting the Oakville area from England in June 2016 and hired a car through HOJ Car and Truck Rentals. The staff were very professional and friendly when we collected the car. I have to say, it was the quickest and easiest collection of a hire car I've ever experienced! When we got the car back to my auntie's house we noticed there was some damage to one of the tyres. I rang HOJ and straightaway they said to just bring the car back and they give us a different one, no problem. Great service and I'd definitely recommend using them :)

Best truck rental ever....great customer service and 80% cheaper the the other (no name ) places. They accomodated us on last minute, returned my call when I called after hours and very very customer oriented. Would highly recommend them to all friends and family. A very very very good experience!! My parents rented a car a few months ago, and we were really glad we chose this place! The staffs were so friendly and always there to help. We went there a few times when we had questions about the car and the payments or anything. They were always happy to help us out and offered us different solutions that would suit us. We will definitely go there again if we still need to rent a car in the future. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic experience. Tom was excellent. I had issues trying to book with Enterprise and Budget: from cancelled bookings, to nothing available, to voicemail boxes being full. A disaster. Tom responds very quickly by phone and especially email. A very friendly guy who's checkout and drop-off process is extremely quick. We had no issues with the clean cube van. Rented cargo van to move daughter home from Kingston. Queen Box Spring and mattress plus entire contents of students room fit easily. Staff is very helpful. The van was spotless inside and out. Pick up and drop off simple and available anytime. Price was as good or better as anywhere.

THE BEST COMPANY FOR ALL YOUR RENTAL TRUCK NEEDS. HOJ is one of Oakville’s hidden gems. Since finding about this company, I have not rented from anywhere else. Management/ customer service is extremely Accommodating and helpful and the trucks are always spotless. Prices are better than decent with more than enough kilometres included with the rentals. Trust me, you won’t find these prices anywhere else. Always a great experience renting from HOJ!

Best moving truck rental ever! Staff are amazing, polite and helpful. They are the cheapest out of all the major rental companies I've called. Very easy to deal with and flexible. They even let me pick up the truck as early as 7:00am and return it anytime I want within the 24hrs time frame, compared to the other truck rental companies that you need to return it before they close. Vehicle is affordable on gas, has lots of space and wide sturdy loading ramp that made loading and unloading heavy items easy. Invoice is what it should be and no hidden charges like other companies. Highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

Look no further if you need to rent a car! When I called for pricing and Tom answered all my questions patiently. I asked Tom if I could reserve the cheapest car they have but it was rented out that same day, Tom told me that he would get back to me as soon as it comes back and he did. I was willing to wait because I was comfortable dealing with Tom. I have had very bad experience before with other car rental places therefore I didn't want to go elsewhere. It was a pleasure experience dealing with Tom, I had a 2021 Honda Civic and it was a great car. I also had a chance to rent a Honda CRV with only 17 km on it, BRAND NEW for the same price. Long story short, if someone wants to rent a vehicle without headaches, Tom @ Hoj is the place to go! Some reviews mentioned the price is more expensive than others, I can't speak about pricing since I didn't call around for comparison but my family said that the price is very good considering the type of vehicles I had! By the way, Tom answers emails promptly even after hour!

I needed a tall van for an upcoming move. When I contacted Tomas from Hoj he responded immediately. Our communication via email was excellent. I had several questions and he was patient and very professional in answering them all in a timely manner. When I picked up the van, I was in and out in a very short time.
