They have the worst costumer service. I called and the guy didn't answer I called a second time and he sounded like he just had woken up. When I arrived his coworker called him to help him and he came out like he had just woken up. Also, the guy at the front was complaining because a lot if clients had come to rent a car. Anyways, next time I will go to enterprise.

Tried to arrange a rental vehicle all weekend with them. Multiple voicemails left but no one ever responded. Finally had a car booked but no winter tires were available. Arranged to pick up another vehicle the next day and had an appointment for pickup at 9:30/10:00 on arrival the for had a sign saying they had stepped out. It was snowing and when i called the number on the door, I was told to wait in the cold. My rental was cancelled because I didn't wait for the person to get back to attend their store front for a booked appointment. Over the phone he said "I booked you for 9:30-10:00, Its not 10:00". I am shocked that he schedules things this way, believing he is the one who can show up anywhere between that time and leave their customers in the cold... The rental store opens at 9:00AM... Why is your door locked? Where did you go 30 minutes into your shift? Why am I expected to stand in the snow waiting for your return?

Arrived to find the location locked and unmanned with a sign to call a number. No answer. Left a voicemail message and had to wait 20 minutes for an employee to show up during the middle of the workday despite having a reservation. The sign outside said it was necessary due to COVID. Also, the desk manager advised that the actual inventory at this location isn’t reflected in what is shown online - so after my 20 minute wait outside and having a valid reservation was advised my full size rental was not available. Was offered an upgrade however was told it would be an additional daily charge and that the online rate booked would not be honoured. Pay up or no rental. This bate and switch has left a very poor taste in my mouth and I will not be renting from this location in Hamilton again.

The guy was super helpful and was able to get me a car while other places couldn't, he even picked me up. Overall, great experience for me.

Had a reservation 1 week in advance. The afternoon before they called me to let me know there is no vehicle available. Very unprofessional. Was able to get a car last minute at enterprise and paid half the price hertz was going to charge me.

Be aware while booking. Their closing hours are not same as that on their website(2:00 pm on Sunday). I had booked a rental pickup at this location at 1:45 pm however the location was closed when I reached there at 1:30 pm.

Horrible experience. Rented once from the female employee, who was friendly and sweet. The next time, we had reserved to pickup right at the opening time, but the Hertz guy arrived very late so we had to wait outside in the freezing snowstorm for over an hour. He said he was from another branch and came here quickly as a backup as the regular employee had a tragic accident as well as a bunch of other excuses. When we returned the car, the girl who’s normally there was back, and out of curiosity we chatted, and realized all the excuses we had been fed was untrue! This was in November 2019, and we’ll never come back to any Hertz branch

It closed at 1pm on Saturday when I just arrived. It literally says close at 3. I called on the phone 100 times and no one answered. I havent rent the car yet！

Little Gorilla boy working on the day of Nov 17th 2021 was yelling at a woman and backing up two black punks outside the Hertz store.. Bunch of cowards couldn't fight their way out a wet paper bag...
