It is a hit and miss with every visit. Best time to go would be from 7am to 3pm as this seems to be when they have the most reliable staff working. The dinner shift is brutal, full of staff who are rude and incompetent, food quality takes a serious dive during dinner time as well.

One word......DISCUSTING. This location is stuck in the 80s. There's shingles lose ready to fall in the drive thru. Inside is dirty and old. Their grease trap smells like rotten fish and the bathrooms are unusable. They never have anything to drink besides pop. The health board needs to be contacted.

Multiple employees wearing masks under their mouth. When asked to put on correctly they complied. However 10 seconds later is was falling under their nose again. Asked again and told them they need to sanitize after touching their mask. Employee raised their voice at us. Asked for manager and he immediately raised his voice and banned us. I ordered 2 grilled salads with 20 nuggets and the girl told me to wait because she have to check if they had any salads left,, we waited for 20min the car behind us kept honking at us because it was taking too long. once we got our salad I when to take them out of the bag the stupid thing spilled everywhere the lid wasn't on properly so here I am in the parking lot cleaning the salad out of my vehicle. once I was finished I drove back to the window and told them the salad spilled they refused to give me a new order so I have to pay for another 2 salads!! I waited again for another 20min this time there was no car behind me. I get my order and I get home I check the bag there were no dressing and we got crispy instead of Grilled!! I always stop here on my way to work they always have such bad service but this time definitely not going back!!

Stopped for breakfast on long trip. Ordered kids happy meals with pancakes and they forgot to give the utensils, butter and syrup. It happens... Ask for 2 of each, get one of each. Have to go ask for more. Went up and tried to claim my free drink off the app and they couldn't figure it out and was told by manager that I didn't have a free drink. I asked why it said congratulations, redeem your hot beverage, so he made me one. Overall the building itself is very nice. The staff aren't rude or anything, just not very good at their job.

We are snowbirds travelling back to Canada from Arizona. We often stop at McDonalds in the mornings and order the same thing: egg and sausage, or bacon, McMuffins and 2 small coffees. Ordered same thing at Brooks McD this morning. It was almost double the cost of the exact same items ordered thru 5 states and 2 provinces. Giant rip off. Oh, and gas prices across the street higher than BC? Stay away from Brooks.

The back door to the inside nearly knocked me off my feet. The bathroom/every door has no automatic door button. For a place directed at seniors, it's not disability friendly. Also, the highchair was not clean and didn't have the usual cover on it with a bib or anything. They are so cheap they change extra for sauces and their fries are never cooked consistently. The staff is so so and I always get an unwelcome feeling from here.

Absolutely the worst visit I have had at this McDonald's. It took 30 minutes from when I started to order breakfast until I had sat down with it. Picture this.. its 33 degrees outside... we wait in line for 15 minutes only to be told they have no ice cream. Hey mcdonalds.. how bout a sign when you come in? Also, the kiosks get served 1st, there is no "order" as to who came in 1st. While I was waiting for 15 minutes, 5 young people came in and were all served before the line up because they used the kiosk, which were not working when I arrived. Come on... you can do better than this!!! Will never go back ????

Well, if nothing else, they are consistent - fries are rarely fresh and often cold and chewy, and I don't even recall the last time my sandwich was hot, or even warm for that matter. But at least my order has always been correct, and they are really good at making up for the sub par food with meal vouchers or coupons. Its easier to other than ever before with the mobile app, but their lack of offers is disappointing - rarely any BOGO or even 2 can Dine offers anymore - just dollar drink days, dollar cones, and 7th free fries/coffee

Who has their delivery truck come to bring supplies at lunch time and shut down the drive thru? Then after waiting a good 20 minutes inside for a quick order (a couple mcdoubles, fries and cokes) I get to the truck and double check everything... They have charged me $2.19 each for my drinks when it is dollar days and should only have been a dollar. By the time I went back in for my money back and got the food home it was cold. Not a very good experience

Value has seriously gone downhill. This is no longer a cheap and fast option for a meal. A family if 4 costs $50 to feed. For an extra $3-4 per person you can go to a real restaurant and eat a much better meal that doesn't leave you hungry 30 minutes later.

I went to the Glace Bay McDonalds today. I ordered an extra large coffee, a medium coffee and a small milkshake. I wanted a child’s milkshake but he said the smallest was a small. The guy said my order came to $8.02. I found this was a bit high of a price so I asked him how much the milkshake cost. He told me $3.whatever plus tax. I gave him $7 in cash and swiped my debit card for the remaining $1.02. He told me I still owe I’m $1. I said no I don’t I paid it. When I got up to the other window they told me I still owe $1. I said no I don’t I paid $7 in cash and used my bank card for the rest. He was extremely rude and told me I still owe $1. The guy from the first window came over there and I told him to give me my $7 back and keep the drinks. He kept repeating I owed $1. I told him four times to return my money that I paid. FINALLY they gave me my money back after I said I was about to come into the store. I left and went into a parking space to check my bank account. I indeed did pay that $1.02. The staff was so rude that I would NEVER go there again and wouldn’t suggest anyone else does either. Really really bad customer service and they still got my $1.02. I also later googled he cost of a milkshake and this good charges me for a large not a small.

I awarded 1 point because they support Android Pay and let you customize your burgers. It's a joke of a business, let alone a fast-food "restaurant," yet it's always busy! The food is cheap, yes, but you get 0 nutritional content and the service leaves much to be desired. I like the idea of being able to order without waiting in line or trying to get people to understand my order, but the actual systems have touch screens almost as bad as the ones at Canadian Tire. So I always end up going to counter anyways. It's a struggle.

This location seems a bit off par. Wraps appeared to be just tossed into the boxes making it impossible to eat. I exchanged a small order of fries for the apple slices my kid ordered and watched as the fries were returned to the fry bin, presumably to be served to future customers.

Absolutely terrible. The staff can’t read. Asked for a burger with no cheese (I’m lactose intolerant) and they put cheese on it when the grill slip says NO CHEESE. I haven’t gotten McDonald’s in over a year and this is why. Every location hires children that can’t read or don’t care. From big city lights to small town joys... What can I say. I've never tasted food so fresh. Honestly I'm from out of town. From a city of 550k I frequent mcds more than I like to admit (especially with the all day bfast and working nights). My experience was greeted with a friendly and genuine (I might add) experience. I see a few complaints here. Listen guys. Voice your concerns... And they will I assure you turn your experience upside down. This community wants to please and satisfy every costumer from every walk of life. I will be back... I will frequent. And I will not complain that my thermostat in my car isn't working to which results in room temperature food from a DRIVE thru. Go figure that my meat (which holds in a holding tray in presume (yes I worked in fast food) is room temperature by the time I get home. I'm sorry but if they wrapped it in foil you'd complain that the food was soggy... Honestly come eat here and enjoy some mcds the way it's meant to be. Fast fresh and delish. Where else are you going to go? Go cook yourselves a meal if you want to complain... Or better yet speak up and they will right there wrongs (as the costumers always Right!!!....right?) This location aims to please.

I definitely would not recommend the place to anybody.My son and I both had stomach issues and the service stunk. They don't serve salads in the winter, they didn't have orange juice, fish and I truly believe our food was precooked and it was cold. We had issues getting vinegar and my mother asked to get vegetables on her hamburger and they gave her 1 pickle. If I could give less than 1 star I would.It was a terrible experience. This McDonald's is OLD, and sometimes not very well maintained. There's been a big, awful pothole at the very entrance to the drive-through for YEARS, and if you hit it, it could potentially damage your car. Be careful! (The folks working there are great, though! Guess they could be incentive to go in to the restaurant to see them, and avoid the Pothole of Doom altogether that way)

Haven’t been to a fast food joint for some time as the food is terrible and prices even worse. Decided to try the spicy chicken they are advertising lately. Got home to find it a disgusting mess. The patty barely covered the bun, ( the commercial shows the patty bigger than the bun and 3 times thicker than the real thing), most of the “sandwich” was filled with lettuce. Will never visit a fast food “restaurant”, and I use that term very loosely”, again. My wallet and my overall health deserves better anyway.

Ordered a Coffee earlier today, it was good. Also ordered a Chicken Caeser wrap and I couldn't finish it. It was literally drenched in sauce and the wrap was completely ripped on the back so it was a total mess and unappetizing.
