Took my money and ran. Cancelled 18 hours before my 9 week old prepaid reservation because they had no car available. Hertz couldn't cancel their own reservation in the system and are now declining to refund the rental. Easily the most frustrating customer experience I've ever experienced, regardless of the inconvenience of the late cancellation.

Honestly I was pretty worried renting here after seeing all the 1 star reviews but the location and availability was the most convenient for our schedule. My partner and I booked a car, showed up at our pick up time, there were a few people in line but we were in and out within around 15 min. We didn't get the car we wanted but we weren't picky. Dropped off the keys after hours after renting for a few days, received the bill on my credit card with no surprise charges. All in all it was a pretty good and smooth experience for us.

Never experienced this kinda horrible service ever!Call me 12 hours before car pick up and told me there’s no car available, I booked 1 month ahead! The only suggestion is I can pay much higher price to rent an expensive car! Called Herts customer service center, the staff and manager are all uneducated, even asked me if it’s ok to get a car in Toronto! I asked them to solve the problem, then they hung up my phone call. Never ever chose Hertz again!

The worst customer service ever by far. I reserved a car 3 weeks before my trip, and two days prior to pickup date they cancelled on me without taking any responsibility. Didn’t offer any alternatives. They allow reservations beyond their capacity, then cancel the cheaper ones at the end. Very dishonest!!

Reserved a car a month in advance at this location despite the predominantly terrible reviews. 20 hours prior to my reservation I receive an e-mail, which is screenshot in the attached picture. No apologies, no solutions, nothing. Luckily, the global customer service representative was helpful to find an alternative solution. I've been booking my rentals through Hertz for years now and this is by far the worst location I've ever had to deal with.

(Translated) I made a reservation in July for 2 weeks in September, I received an email confirming this reservation 2 days before, and made it there, they had no car for me and could not do anything for me to help. The clerk mentioned to me that this was the first time she had seen this in 3 years, and I can see here that she was lying on purpose. I had to take the only car available from another company so as not to ruin my trip, $ 700 more expensive. Now they refuse to compensate me despite several calls and emails. Catastrophic customer service and non-existent service in French. (Original) J'ai fait une réservation en juillet pour 2 semaines en septembre, j'ai reçu un courriel de confirmation de cette réservation 2 jours avant, et rendu sur place, ils n'avaient aucune voiture pour moi et ne pouvaient rien faire pour m'aider. L'employé m'a mentionné que c'était la première fois qu'elle voyait ça en 3 ans, et je peux constater ici qu'elle mentait délibérément. J'ai dû prendre la seule voiture disponible dans une autre compagnie pour ne pas gâcher mon voyage, 700$ plus cher. Maintenant, ils refusent de me dédommager malgré plusieurs appels et courriel. Service à la clientèle catastrophique et service en français inexistant.

I booked a car through Expedia about 3 months before pickup. 20hrs before my pickup time, they emailed me to say they overbooked and had no car for me. No offer of anything else, no phone call, no nothing. I called them and they just shrugged it off. I have booked many cars over the years using various rental agencies and this is the first time I have ever experienced such unprofessionalism. Stay away from this rental agency. Don't think just because you book something with them means that you will get an actual rental the day you need it.

Horrible experience at this location. I returned my car rental on same day, the manager called me next morning asking about key. I advised was in drop box, where they wanted it. A few days later i was charged for 2 days rental even after verifying car was returned well within 1 day. When i called to complain the manager claims it was an oversight and that I would have to wait 3-4 weeks for refund of the extra day that was charged. Its been 5 weeks and i still don't have my refund. Beware of this location!! Very dishonest!!! This location has many negative reviews supporting my experience. Shame on Hertz corporate allowing this nonsense to continue, reflects bad on the brand. Buyer Beware!!
